Like mother, like son [don't say that to his face]- much like Gardenia, Don is is an unethical "scientist". His main subject pool is would-be hits that Amy brings to him instead of killing. He ended up isolated from the world for 8 years in a mirror prison, only to be freed by his sister on complete accident. He used to be the pinnacle of scenemo, but is now dressed to stay off of people's radars. He doesn't want the attention his case being closed would bring. Despite the people he has surrounded himself with, he's only really loyal to one person: Amy.

Oh! And, he sometimes performs under the guise of "Ms. Amanita"- a high-glam, "classy" drag queen that mainly either acts as hostess for some events or performs to jazz/older-sounding music [usually- there are exceptions] with several reveals.

Aside from all of that, Don would certainly be an advocate for monsters in the U.S. if it weren't for his fear of what would happen if he was revealed to be alive. However, if you're to ask him his thoughts on the matter, he'll give you a [decently researched, with sources] lecture.

Ah, Gardenia. What to say about her? She's where most of the issues here arise. She's a single mother of two, an unethical scientist, and a disgraced doctor who got her medical license got revoked due to medical malpractice [think House MD levels]. She ordered a hit on her ex-lover, then subsequently sent her son to a mirror prison for threatening to tell the authorities about multiple of her crimes, left her daughter in a house fire in hopes that she would die, attempted to kill her daughter several more times after that, and now has made a deal with the government while also seething with the knowledge that Amy is still alive.

Gardenia couldn't give less of a fuck about monster rights, despite her kids being monster-human hybrids themselves. She'll vouch for whichever side gives her more money.

An Introduction To Me/This Blog

Hello to anyone who reads this! Let me introduce myself and this blog!

I'm Basil [pronouns: It/He/They], and this is my blog [obvs, lol]. I'm going to be posting about my funny little 0Cs here. I'll also be posting about how their world works and reblogging posts that remind me of them!

As I go along, if you have any questions I will be more than happy to answer them! The ask box is always going to be open, and anon will [hopefully] always be on as well.
