Ideas Converted To Realty By an Outdoor Living Contractor in Cypress and Sugar Land, TX
Living in a sprawling home with lots of space outside is a boon. Urban living does not ensure such advantages. The homeowner may feel the need to convert some of the outdoor area, notably the backyard as well as the frontage, into a livable space that is fit for entertaining guests and enjoying the bounty of nature in summer. Hiring an experienced outdoor living contractor in Cypress and Sugar Land, TX, can turn the imagination into reality. While the budget and other details may be discussed at length with the contractor being knowledgeable in such matters, it is the property owner and other residents at home who have to take a call about specific types of structures to be constructed.
There are ideas galore when it comes to extending the living quarters outdoors. One is spoilt for choice, trying to decide in favor of one or another structure. While budget may be a constraint, one has to select the best possible structure that fulfills the user's objective. Some of the following ideas may be accepted in enhancing the bare backyard or garden area:
· Pergola- One may install an arched structure known as a pergola in the garden area. This will provide shelter from the natural elements and may be used to enjoy some me-time in the evenings. Moreover, having trailers and creepers covering the structure will enhance the ambiance without the pergola jarring the vision. It may also be used to provide a cover over the existing deck.
· Porch- Constructing a partially covered porch adjoining the main home creates additional living space that may be used to accommodate guests. Placing planters full of blooming in-season flowers can be a natural way to increase the aesthetic appeal.
· Entertainment zone- The homeowner may create a defined space for entertainment by turning a part of the deck into one. Stringing lights or decorative lanterns will bring the area into focus. Erecting a raised platform for performances and digging a fire pit to enjoy barbecues can be ideal for men's corners on weekends.
· Paths- The entire area may be divided into ones replete with meandering paths for convenience and keeping the interest alive. One may add stairs to reach the terrace, sunken pit, and swimming pool. The paths may be created by laying beautiful pavers or with cobblestone and gravel. This layout will mimic the forest, allowing the residents to enjoy nature.
· Fireplace- People residing in areas prone to bitterly cold winters may opt for a fireplace in the backyard as well. Constructing it out of stone will make it look traditional, with lanterns around it, taking one back to those historical times. Enjoy winter evenings with the family is ensured when the warmth from the fireplace makes the surroundings cheerful
Every home needs to be altered to keep up with the times. Besides, the interior and exterior may undergo extensive damage over the years. Repairing the area may be too expensive, with home remodeling in Houston and Katy, TX, being more cost-effective in the long run.

Although it doesn’t boast the nice, supple roundness of a million dollars, three-quarters of a million bucks is still a lot of moolah. On the hunt for homes a rung or two below the million mark, we scoured listings of homes for sale across the United States at $750,000. And boy, did we find some beauties!
So if a seven-digit price tag is a stretch for your wallet, these offer a slightly less expensive alternative, with plenty of still-awesome amenities, from beautiful gardens, glorious open layouts, to convenient locations.
But as experienced housing watchers know, in exceptionally hot housing areas (like New York or the Bay Area), you could just wind up in a bidding war that pushes a price tag beyond $750,000. But, hey, we tried!
Multiple-offer madness aside, here are 10 homes currently on the market for three-quarters of a million dollars.

Journal - 25 Best Architecture Firms in New York, NY (Updated April 2020)
New York is arguably the epicenter of the architectural industry in the United States, with more than 20,000 licensed architects and well over 1,000 firms working in the state. At its heart, New York City (NYC) is home to a thriving community of architects, interior designers, landscape architects, engineers and contractors, with projects ranging from residential and retail to cultural and commercial. Construction firms generated an estimated $84 billion in economic activity in 2018, representing 10 percent of New York City’s total economic output.
With so many architecture firms to choose from, it’s challenging for clients to identify the industry leaders that will be an ideal fit for their project needs. Fortunately, Architizer is able to provide guidance on the top design firms in NYC based on more than a decade of data and industry knowledge.
How are these architecture firms ranked?
The following ranking has been created according to key statistics that demonstrate each firm’s level of architectural excellence. The following metrics have been accumulated to establish each architecture firm’s ranking, in order of priority:
The number of A+Awards won (2013 to 2019)
The number of projects selected as “Project of the Day” (2009 to 2020)
The number of projects selected as “Featured Project” (2009 to 2020)
The number of projects uploaded to Architizer (2009 to 2020)
Each of these metrics is explained in more detail at the foot of this article. This ranking list will be updated annually, taking into account new achievements of NYC architecture firms throughout the year. Without further ado, here are the 25 best architecture firms in New York City, as of April 2020:

NadaMoo! recalls 26,000 pints of Strawberry Cheesecake Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert
Little Red Rooster Ice Cream Company, d/b/a NadaMoo! (“NadaMoo!”) announced a limited recall of approximately 26,000 pints of its Strawberry Cheesecake Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert because they contain an undeclared almond ingredient.
The recalled products are pints of NadaMoo! Strawberry Cheesecake Non-dairy Frozen Dessert that were distributed to select distributors and retailers beginning February 19, 2019. The recalled products have a “Best By” date of 08/09/2020 printed at the bottom of the pint. In addition, the recalled pints will also have a UPC code of “854758001020” listed below the barcode on the back of the pint. To help identify if a pint of NadaMoo! Strawberry Cheesecake is impacted by this recall, please visit the site NadaMoo! created at www.nadamoo.com/March2019Recall
No consumer has reported an allergic reaction to date.
No other NadaMoo! products or flavors are recalled. NadaMoo! wants to reassure customers that Strawberry Cheesecake pints not labeled with the expiration date listed above are not affected by the recall and therefore can be fully enjoyed rather than discarded.
The recall was initiated as soon as it was discovered that the pie crust inclusions in the Strawberry Cheesecake product containing almond flour as an ingredient was inadvertently filled into packaging that did not declare that ingredient, potentially exposing consumers to an undeclared allergen.
A list of stores that may have received the impacted product can be found below:

Got $750,000? Move Right Into One of These 10 Beautiful Homes
Ae11615/ istock
11 Hyde Park Blvd, Houston, TX
Square footage: 2,692 Bedrooms: 3 Bathrooms: 3.5 The deal: This contemporary glass-and-concrete cube is a true showstopper. It is gated and private, and its entertaining opportunities include a fourth-floor terrace and an open living space and kitchen, with a glass-enclosed wine cellar that’s perfect for pouring with friends.

This delightful home is nestled among glorious green gardens, including stone paths, water features, mature plantings, and a covered patio. Along with the urban oasis, modern finishes indoors include custom maple cabinets, granite counters and backsplashes, bamboo and tile floors, and elegant fixtures.

4403 Tapia, San Antonio, TX
Square footage: 3,636 Bedrooms: 3 Bathrooms: 3 The deal: The resort-style setting says it’s “Scottsdale inspired,” and we see the desert resemblance. The one story-home is a showpiece of indoor-outdoor living, with interior courtyards, a heated pool and spa, a covered loggia, an outdoor kitchen, and fireplace.

3019 Linden St, Oakland, CA
Square footage: 1,918 Bedrooms: 3 Bathrooms: 2.5 The deal: For the pricey Bay Area, this place is a find. Built in 2006, it has a light and bright first floor with French doors, open layout, a powder room, a patio, and gated parking for two cars. Upstairs are a master suite plus two other bedrooms.

3634 N Avondale Ave, Chicago, IL
Square footage: 3,400 Bedrooms: 4 Bathrooms: 3.5 The deal: It’s brand-new! And this place is well-designed, with luxury features like coffered and coved ceilings, and a kitchen counter with bar seating. There’s also a wet bar, a nice touch for entertaining. Bonus? The house sits in a historical neighborhood and is close to restaurants, shopping, and transit.

408 W 57th St Apt 2H, NY, NY
Square footage: 900 Bedrooms: 1 Bathrooms: 1 The deal: Of course, this place is on the small side. It’s midtown Manhattan! But the unit has a deceivingly spacious layout, with a 40-foot-long living room, and a roomy bedroom that fits a king-size bed. Updates to the residence include a washer/dryer, stainless steel appliances, fresh paint, window treatments, and new lighting. Plus, you’re just two blocks from Central Park, where there’s plenty of space to stretch out.

288 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT
Square footage: 4,518 Bedrooms: 7 Bathrooms: 7.5 The deal: This fully restored Victorian is quite frankly jaw-dropping. The town landmark from 1890 has original details including eight fireplaces, decorative trim, stained glass, and large windows. But the centerpiece is the dramatic three-story turret. There’s also a finished basement with a bedroom and full bath, plus two covered porches and a gazebo on the two-acre property.

4016 W 62nd St, Los Angeles, CA
Square footage: 1,568 Bedrooms: 3 Bathrooms: 2 The deal: A Tudor seems out of place in SoCal, yet here is a beautifully preserved example from 1928. Along with Tudor-style depressed arches, and a large-grid picture window in living room, there’s also a fireplace, hardwood floors throughout, a master suite, and a kitchen with breakfast nook. The new landscaping is drought tolerant—a big plus in this oft-parched area.

407 Sarto Ave, Coral Gables, FL
Square footage: 2,123 Bedrooms: 3 Bathrooms: 2 The deal: We love the Mid-Century Modern vibe of this completely updated home from 1967. The open floor plan includes woodlike porcelain tile. Quartz counters and acrylic cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom add to the bright, shiny look. The large kitchen island and the living space that opens to the back patio offer plenty of room for guests to circulate.

34 Pleasant St Apt 1, Wellesley, MA
Square footage: 1,685 Bedrooms: 2 Bathrooms: 2.5 The deal: Technically a condo, the single-family residence feels like a detached house. The ’40s home was renovated and attached to a condo community, connecting the “best of both worlds,” according to the listing description. New details include a cherrywood kitchen with granite counters, and a living and dining room that open to a large deck. There’s a large master suite, plus a lower level that could be used as a family room or an exercise room.
