11/30 LINE CUBE SHIBUYA ワンマン公演「TO BE BORN」

11/30に12人体制最後となるワンマンライブ「TO BE BORN」がLINE CUBE渋谷で開催された。

このライブを最後に2016年から活動を続けていたメンバーのテラシマユウカが脱退することが発表されており、全国各地から多くのファンが会場に足を運んだ。チケットはsold out。GANG PARDEの歴史に刻まれる大きな1歩の始まりだ。

開演時間になり、ステージ上の射幕にはメンバーひとりひとりの紹介ムービーが映し出され大きな歓声が上がった。

生バンドの演奏と同時に新衣装に身を包んだメンバーが姿を現した。始まりは疾走感のある電子系ソング「Happy Lucky Kirakira Lucky」でスタート。約10年続くGANG PARADEの歴史の中で生バンドでのワンマンライブは初めての試みだった。会場は一気に盛り上がりを見せ、遊び人（ギャンパレのファンの名称）の声援も普段以上に大きく聞こえた。

続けて「パショギラ」「don,t forget me not」ロックでボルテージを上昇させる楽曲を披露し、挨拶に移った。「ホールでのワンマンライブで遊び人も緊張してるんじゃないですか？」チャンベイビーの言葉に頬が緩むメンバーたち。その後、みんなの緊張をほぐすために考えたというTO BE BORN体操を実施。全員で体を動かし身も心もさらに温まった。

生バンドならではのアレンジパフォーマンスも多く見られた。「シグナル」では「ノンちゃんー！」とメンバーのキャ・ノンの名前を叫ぶのがお決まりで、いつもより長い間を開け多くの遊び人が声を上げた。「Gangsta Vibes」ではメンバーがステージ上で激しく入れ代わるフォーメーションや、バンドの演奏に合わせた今日だけのスペシャルダンスを披露した。グループの振り付け担当であるキャン・GP・マイカは「バンドの力が1000以上ですが、この日のためにたくさん準備をしてきました。今日は今日しかないとよく言うけど本当の意味で今日しか見れないGANG PARADEを存分に楽しんで欲しいです。」と想いを明かした。

ライブも後半戦。「pretty pretty good」のイントロが流れる中、ナルハワールドが今日までの気持ちを語った。「今日がとても楽しみな気持ちと、まだきてほしくない気持ちがありました。あなたがここに来てくれたこと、あなたが笑っていてくれること、それが何より幸せなんです。ギャンパレを好きで、会いに来てくれて本当にありがとう。まだまだ一緒に遊んでくれますか？」言葉と共に金色のテープが宙を舞った。金テープには12人のサインとメンバーがひとり一文字ずつ書いた「ROCKを止めるな！！」のワンフレーズ「この人生に意地と誇りを！！！！！！！！！！！！」が刻まれていた。

続いて披露されたのは「BREAKING THE ROAD」激しく腕を振り上げ、ステージを駆け回るメンバー達。常に全力で��高のパフォーマンスを遊び人に届けてくれる彼女達の姿に胸を打たれた。

キラ・メイが「まだまだ足りない。あと5時間はやりたい。」と笑顔で話すと、ミキ、ココが「お前できるのかよ笑」「やめとけ笑」と言い放ち、いつも通りのギャンパレのたわいのない会話に会場は笑いに包まれた。

「楽しみだからこそ終わってほしくないから、来てほしくないような、いち早くお見せしたいような色々な気持ちと共に今日を迎えました。全国各地から来てくださったみなさんのおかげで今日をこうして迎えられたと思います。本当にありがとうございます。」涙を堪えながら気持ちを伝えたユイ・ガ・ドクソン。今にも溢れ出しそうな涙を隣にいた同期のココ・パーティン・ココが拭う。脱退するユウカと同期の2人は今日という日にかける想いが強��あったのだろう。

「今日ここにいてくれるあなた1人1人が違う人生を歩む中で、しんどかったり、折れちゃいそうな時に、ふと思い出して、照らしてくれる光みたいな瞬間に今日がなれていてら、そんな皆さんの居場所に遊び場がなれていたら嬉しいです。まだまだたくさん見たことのない様な瞬間を遊び人と作っていきたいんですけど、これからも一緒にいてくれますか？」というドクソンの投げかけに、大きな声援と拍手が沸き起こった。

アンコールが起こり「Priority」を披露したあと、テラシマユウカの最後の挨拶を行った。

「アンコールありがとうございます。今日で私、テラシマユウカはGANG PARADEを脱退します。気付けば8年もの長い時間、WACKで活動してきました。幸せな生活の中で、誰よりも一緒に時間を過ごして、誰よりもいろんな感情を分かち合ってきたメンバー、遊び人のみんなと築いた絆は、私にとってかけがえのない宝物です。きっとこんな特別な存在はほかでは作れないだろうし、でもこれが最初で最後でいいって。この特別な存在をずっと抱きしめて生きていきたいと思います。みんな、GANG PARADEに出会ってくれて本当にどうもありがとうございます。いろんな経験してきたことがもうこれからなくなる。そう思ったら、自分で決めた道ではあるけど、すごくやっぱり寂しいです。でもこの幸せが過去になっても、みんなからもらった愛を思い出す度に心があったかくなるやろうなって思うし、これからのGANG PARADEの活動を見て、その力強さにいつだって勇気付けられるんだろうなって。そう思ったら、前を向いて、自分の足で歩いていけます。みんなのこと、本当に頼もしいし、尊敬してて、私の生涯の誇りです。本当にみんなのこと心から大好きです。みんなからもらった愛が枯れることはないけど、私からみんなへの愛も枯れることはありません。自分のすべてをかけた8年間。もう青春でもなくて、これが私の生活で、人生そのものでした。8年間、愛しい日々を本当にありがとうございました！」

多くのファンが涙し、彼女のアイドルである最後の姿を目に焼き付けていた。8年という長い間アイドルでいてくれて、私たちに音楽を、言葉を届けてくれた彼女に感謝と労いの意をこめて今日1番の盛大な喝采が起こった。

挨拶の後にはギャンパレのライブ定番曲「Plastic 2 Mercy」を披露。バンドバージョンにアレンジされたダンス、フォーメーションに魅了された。落ちサビではテラシマユウカのメンバーカラーである紫の光に会場が包まれ、ありがとうございました！ みんなのこと、愛してるよ！」という言葉と共に８年間立ち続けたステージを後にした。

「まだ足りない」という遊び人のダブルアンコールが起こり、ここから新体制GANG PAREDEの第一歩が始まった。

新曲「グッドラック・マイフューチャー」を初披露。最古参メンバーであるヤママチミキは「今、この瞬間から11人のGANG PARADEが始まります。今まで、GANG PARADEは変わり続けてきたけれど、きっとこの先も変化とともに進んでいくと思うんです。でもたくさん変化してきた中でもずっと変わらなかったものもあるし、これからも変わらないものがあります。それは私たちGANG PARADEと、あなたたち遊び人の関係。どれだけグループの中身が変わろうとも、絶対に変わることがないだろうと確信しています。今までと変わらずにGANG PARADEと遊び人を信じて、これからは変化も武器にして進んでいけるように。私たちにはその道しかないので、どうかあなたたちもGANG PARADEをこれからも信じて愛して一緒に進んでくれたらうれしいです。今日は本当にありがとうございました」とこれからも前へと進んでいくギャンパレへの想いを語った。

Homicidols Best of the Year (so far)

We are one half of the way through the Homicidols calendar year (which runs December through November for REASONS) so we thought it was time to make note of the songs, albums and MVs that Team Homicidols have had on repeat for the last six months.  This year’s entries so far seem to largely skew to the punk, shoegaze, and dream pop side of the spectrum, with only a few entries dipping their toes…
