Anyway here's my breakdown of the ffxiv jobs, my opinions on playing each, and the tier rank of how good their story was

TANKS

WARRIOR - warrior is so fucking funny why did they make it able to solo heal itself and the entire party in 90% of the content in the game. Raw Intuition/Bloodwhetting is so broken in dungeons its hilarious. And then they have like 3 additional healing skills on top of that. And they kept buffing it throughout Endwalker. So it is currently the easiest to play, does the most damage (i think...?), and has the best healing of any of the Tank jobs. 2nd fave probably.

Story Tier: C, it's ok, Curious Gorge is a good name. i have like nothing to say about it it's a generic AF story

PALADIN - I used to hate PLD but I think the partial rework they got halfway through Endwalker helped it a lot. It's much less clunky now. Probably still my least favorite Tank though Hallowed Ground is fun and it's pretty close to Gunbreaker for me.

Story Tier: F, this is the worst class storyline in the entire game. It's so stupid. The writing is so bad the writers acknowledge it makes no sense at all and I'm like. Yeah, thanks, I am experiencing this shit. Perhaps write a story that makes sense next time instead of pointing that out.

DARK KNIGHT - Unfortunately this is my favorite Tank 🫡 which is rough since it has the worst survivability out of any of them. But I love how you use MP and the silly number of OGCDs. The Blackest Night is such a fun ability and it's a crime that it's not a baseline skill you get from the start. Why do they have so many DRs that only cover magic damage. I must ask.

Story Tier: S, there's a reason it's the most popular and well regarded class storyline. It's really good, also the only questline I know of that uses the quest log text as part of the narrative. Outside maybe a few of the very late Endwalker quests. And, well... same writer lmao

GUNBREAKER: I think GNB looks cool as fuck and I like that it has 2 DPS rotations. The Gnashing Fang combo is so fun. Superbolide memes are always fun. My main issue with it is a skill issue because I am just constantly misaligning its burst windows.

Story Tier: C. It has some interesting lore but I found it pretty forgettable as a story.

HEALERS

WHITE MAGE: I hated White Mage for a while but something clicked and now I totally get it. I find it fun in dungeons cause you get to Holy spam and stun lock everything. As uh. The healer. That's fun. Once you get Afflatus heals (and then Afflatus Misery) it clicks. It's fun maximizing damage and playing chicken with the tank's HP.

Story Tier: B, you get a lot of lore around the Padjal, and I think the Stormblood story where you find a padjal living in hiding with her mother is pretty good! Also it's not technically the job storyline but there's a WHM side quest to get a unicorn mount? i guess it's technically a CNJ quest but same diff. no one else gets that shit. so that's cool

SCHOLAR: probably my least favorite of the healers... it just feels super clunky. You can tell a bunch of different design philosophies went into it over the years and none of them mesh very well. They've made it so the Fairy Gauge controls literally one spell. Why have the gauge at all? It's also a huge missed opportunity that there's no tie in or interaction with the fae in Shadowbringers. I love the idea of a battle tactician healer but I think it needs a rework.

Story Tier: B+, I liked the characters and its the main way to get backstory and lore on what happened with Nym.

ASTROLOGIAN: While I think AST has a similar issue to SCH (lots of different design philosophies over the years) I find it way more fun to play. I like the card mechanic and how it interacts with the rest of the party. AST is basically the only job that has its own like. Minigame? As part of its rotation. And I know a lot of people don't like the RNG for it but personally I find it fun. I know AST is getting a redesign in Dawntrail so hope it's good.

Story Tier: C? I think? I'll be honest I don't remember it super well but I didn't find anything objectionable about it. And I like the tarot aesthetic and lore and how it's healing based on manipulating luck.

SAGE: I think SGE is tons of fun, I'm not sure if I like it or WHM more. I love all the skills SGE has for preventing damage and the gimmick where your DPS heals someone in the party. Visually the hi-tech laser shooting healer is a lot of fun. IT HAS A GAP CLOSER. The only thing i wish was it wasn't so MP negative and that it did more damage. It's a little sad its DPS output is so low compared to the other healers (even AST when you factor in how it buffs the party). Since SGE is supposed to be a healer that heals through damage it's silly its damage kinda sucks.

Story Tier: A, I loved this storyline. Both the Endwalker job stories are very self contained and interesting. While the twist is pretty obvious it's still an interesting exploration of uh. Scientific ethics. Yeah

PHYSICAL MELEE DPS

MONK: I've probably played MNK the least of the phys melee but I like the whole adaptable combo thing. Not much else to say since I have played it so little. Might bring it back out and try again. It DID have the funniest guide in the Balance discord for a while.

Story Tier: D. I think? I remember thinking it was dumb, lmao. Sorry.

DRAGOON: MAN I wished I liked DRG more. It looks so fucking cool and I like how it interacts with the dragon lore. But I find it very punishing to play. To do good damage you have to align so many different cooldowns... and snapshot your DOT correctly... and screwing one thing up just fucks your DPS output forever. Like AST I believe this is being reworked in Dawntrail so I hope it feels better to play.

Story Tier: C+. I think it starts strong since you get to meet Estinien pre-Heavensward and it melds nicely with that story. But I found it pretty directionless post-HW which is a shame.

NINJA: I remember finding this one fun. I like that there are different combos you do that have varied finishers depending on the situation. I am just... bad at remembering which combo to use to get which finisher, lol. So I haven't played it as much. NIN gets a lot of flavor other jobs don't get with their unique run and jump animations. And you get a Bunny of Shame on your head if you fuck up a combo, which is incredible.

Story Tier: A. The Rogue story is probably the most memorable of the basic class quests. Ninja just has great characters and a fun story. What is with that one guy. Karasu? If you know you know. I also like how the Rogue characters show up later in the Ninja story. That's fun.

SAMURAI: I had a similar experience to WHM here because I initially hated it then really came around once it clicked. SAM seems very complex, it has a ton of buttons and different combos. But it is actually quite intuitive once you figure out the general pattern. And it does INSANE damage. I think it's the highest DPS output in the game? I love building the combos and then doing a huge finisher for a bajillion damage. The guaranteed crits and constant OGCD weaves make me feel unstoppable. I think this is tied with RPR for me.

Story Tier: B+. I found the exiled samurai character and his journey toward redemption very compelling. I won't spoil beyond that. However it does fall apart a little in the second half. Still fun but not as good.

REAPER: I love RPR, the teleportation is a lot of fun, and I love finally unleashing the demon form and going ham on the enemy. The weapons are the coolest looking in the game. Every scythe design hits. I probably played this the most in Endwalker. My main critique is the Death's Design mechanic. I hate having to keep a stupid debuff on the target to do damage. It's like a dot but without the optimized snapshotting. If they want to keep this idea i think it would feel better to change it into something like SGE's Kardia where you apply it to one enemy to do increased damage to it without having to worry about reapplying it. not sure how they would balance this for aoe but that's not my job. But even with that caveat I still really enjoy the job.

Story Tier: A+. While it doesn't reach the highs of DRK's story it comes close. I love the badass old lady main character. Her hunting a voidsent that possessed her grandfather would be cool enough but making her a Garlean exile in hiding who grudgingly agrees to train you just adds an extra cool factor. I really enjoyed this story. As a bonus theres a lot of incidental dialogue in the post-6.0 Endwalker story if you completed the RPR story because it ties in a lot.

PHYSICAL RANGED DPS

BARD: It's a bit clunky, its got some outdated design elements, it has one of the lowest damage outputs in the game... and i LOVE IT. this was technically the first job I ever played? totally different character like 8 years ago. and i was so so bad. I think i am actually pretty good at current BRD. the animations look cool. i like that it's a class you really need to work for and optimize to eke out that last bit of damage. and boosting everyone else's damage by existing is kinda neat.

Story Tier: B. I'll be real I barely remember this but I do remember it was gay as fuck so immediately gets an extra tier for that.

MACHINIST: MCH is really funny right now because like. It's phys ranged, right. The design behind phys ranged is you have 100% uptime cause you can freely move around and not have to worry about cast timers or melee range or anything. So the trade off is that they do less damage than other classes. Endwalker MCH did not get the memo and does insane damage anyway. My controversial opinion is that it has similar burst DPS to RPR. No i will not elaborate. I'm also bad at doing good damage on MCH which is impressive since it is easy.

Story Tier: B+. Some Ishgard noble's gay son wants to build machines instead of killing dragons the good old fashioned way and has to prove himself to get taken seriously. A tale as old as time. See I haven't done this quest in like years but I still remember it. He is a memorable character. It's just not like. knockout wowza compared to the A tier stories.

DANCER: Dancer is the second easiest DPS job in the game behind SMN. So if i am sleepy it's the one I like playing. You play simon says. you do a lot of damage when you play simon says then do almost no fucking damage otherwise. I think it's the lowest direct damage in the game? for a dps i mean. You have high stakes sexual tension with a DPS of your choice via Dance Partner. I wish other DNC players knew how Dance Partner works. YOU CAN DANCE PARTNER ANOTHER DANCER. THE BUFF STACKS. BUT YOU CANNOT DANCE PARTNER THE SAME PLAYER AS ANOTHER DANCER. THOSE BUFFS DO NOT STACK. ok i'm good. anyway

Story Tier: C. there's some shit about negative emotions and purging them? in theory i think this has some interesting implications with Endwalker lore considering Dynamis and its role in the story. Very similar mechanically to what's going on with the DNC story. but i really don't think the writers made the connection so it's like pure speculation and not the actual story. It's meh. fine i guess. i did like all the flashy dancing sequences.

MAGICAL RANGED DPS

BLACK MAGE: I am so so so so so so so bad at BLM. i pull up the guide. i read the guide. it all makes perfect sense. i go into a dungeon or trial or something. somehow i always get like Zeromus or some shit. and i drop Enochian or something and everything goes to shit and i'm yelling and i'm not even like slide casting or teleporting or anything i just run around crying. then i remember i have like 10 more buttons i haven't been pressing and oh god the dot fell off. people play this? for fun? i admire it. apparently they do a ton of damage if you can play it. could not be me.

Story Tier: B? There's some voidsent and Thirteenth lore. all the black mage characters are Lalafell because it's funny i guess. OH YEAH it has like the one named male Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te NPC in the entire game and he's fun. look at this twink:

SUMMONER: easiest DPS job in the entire game. they redesigned it for Endwalker so it is practically a new job. i have no idea how it played before. but it is super streamlined. maybe too streamlined? it's another one to play if you want to turn your brain off. i like that at 90 you summon The Actual Primals instead of little representations of them. and i like the way your burst phase switches between Bahamut and Phoenix. it all looks very cool. they should add Leviathan as a summon in Dawntrail.

Story Tier: C.. i don't remember a single thing about this questline except you interact with Y'shtola's half sister. i think you go to Cartenau at some point. idk

RED MAGE: RDM is one of those jobs that looks really complicated when you start then you actually play it and it is just super super easy. that being said i think it's really fun. I like balancing the white and black magic gauges. Dualcast is a great gimmick and it feels cool to lob two big spells in a row at something. Dualcast Verraising a chain of dead players is so fucking funny. it's a shame that the existence of Verraise means RDM does shit damage to compensate for its utility. It and DNC just sit at the bottom with BRD barely scratching ahead of them. i think? i don't remember LOL

Story Tier: A, I really like the story and characters. I like that you have a middle-age world weary catboy (catman) as your mentor. and i like that he canonically trained Alisaie too and you chat a little about that. it's a fun story!

Oh! Thank you so much for this ask! I'm super excited to answer it. I waited until I finished Part V of Book VII. I'm done now, so let's get started!

Warning: Mild spoilers for Book 7 up to where the ENG server is (Part V).

Reasons Why I Like Diasomnia

They're based on Maleficent

Without question my favourite classic Disney villain is Maleficent. I love how she's terrifying, powerful, and is easily an actual threat in her movie. There is weight to her words, actions, and abilities that always made her more threatening to me as a child than some other villains.

However, my love for her blossomed further thanks to her role in Kingdom Hearts. I absolutely love how in the KH lore she's been scheming since moment one (even before we met her in KH1, all the way back in KHUx). I consider anything in Kingdom Hearts canon to the overall Disney arching universes. This means any time I see Maleficent in other media I think, "Oh! She's also after Kingdom Hearts!"

This meant that naturally when I first started Twisted Wonderland I had to pick Malleus as my first card ever!

Aesthetic - Sleeping Beauty

I think that out of all the Disney princess movies nothing beats Sleeping Beauty's backgrounds and overall aesthetic. I know a ton of love went into creating and designing that movie and it shows! It's all breath taking and lives rent free in my brain. It's also why when Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep finally let me run around that world as Terra/Ven/Aqua, I was So Excited.

Twisted Wonderland doesn't disappoint and has brought the aesthetic to Diasomnia perfectly, especially with the dorm. I love it with all my heart!

Diasomnia's OST

This is on the list because I love the dorm's theme so much. It's so hauntingly beautiful! Also, because I can't stop making Kingdom Hearts references, it has some similarities to a song from BBS that plays when you visit Sleeping Beauty's world called The Silent Forest.

Malleus is one of my favourite character archetypes

We're now at the heart of why I love Diasomnia: Malleus. Look, I took one look at Malleus and went "Oh no, he's my character type". Design wise, I think he has the most "at a glance" recognizable traits that link him to Maleficent. That instantly drew me in to his character because, as I said before, Maleficent is my favourite.

Malleus is also an over powered character and I am always drawn to them. It's usually because they're also confident. While Malleus certainly is confident, he has depths to his personality. He's a little awkward but earnest. He sometimes doesn't "get" human things but he tries to understand. Malleus also has a niche (and a little bit dorky) passion for gargoyles that's so endearing. I love it.

He also wants a friend so badly that it's really cute our player character/Yuu was able to befriend him since Book 1. Of course, it's lead to my favourite meme "Malleus doesn't realize Twisted Wonderland isn't an otome game". Which, honestly, good for him! He deserves friendship AND love!

They're Fae

I am such a sucker for Fae in literature. Ever since I read the script for A Midsummer Night's Dream in high school, I was hooked. My favourite part to Fae are the "spirited away" elements because I'm also a sucker for wishes having the theme "This is a gift. It comes with a price". While Diasomnia don't have that classic trickster element to them, they're Fae and that's enough for me!

Lilia and Silver's relationship

Coming off reading Part V for Book VII what I love the most about their relationship is how raising Silver helped Lilia heal from the worst moments of his life. The character arc and growth from Lilia is so satisfying and heart-warming. Especially when it would have been so easy for Lilia to hate Silver and all he "stood for". Yet, despite all Lilia lost in the fight between the humans, we see him willingly and lovingly raise Silver as his son.

Yes, this is the "Big FF Term" (Found Family) aspect of Diasomnia that I know many people love. However, I can't stand the term "Found Family" any more because I think fandom needs to have that term put on a shelf until they learn how to use it properly.

Diasomnia's Unique Magic/Signature Spells

I love that for the most part they all have a common theme present and that's Dreams/Memories. Malleus with his literal ability to create a Lotus Eater Machine, Lilia with his ability to read imprint of memories off objects, and Silver's ability to cross/travel dreams is so cool!

Even if Sebek's may appear to "break the trend" I think his Unique Magic/Signature Spell being so straightforward shows he's not giving up on his goals/dreams/ambitions.

Malleus's overblot theme

Like all the housewardens, Malleus has a theme at the core of his overblot: grief when faced with change (death) of something you hold dear. It's a theme that speaks to me strongly and tugs at my heartstrings. It's the core to so many series that I hold near and dear to my heart such as FMA, Fruits Basket, Anohana, and To Your Eternity.

What do we do when faced with death? How do we react to it? Why can't we just keep clinging onto what we hold dear and never have it change? Those are some deep, heavy questions that define the human experience and to make Malleus, someone who is not human, have to face those questions? I think it's genius and this theme would not have gone over as well with any other dorm in my opinion.

I ended up getting on a roll, apologies, so I put this under a read-more ^^;;;

It depends on the character for sure! I usually end up really vibing with a concept i want to build around, like a personality archetype or a story element. Usually this is a pretty generic concept, and then I build out the rest of the OC, trying to understand their place in the world and how the life they've lived has affected who they are, and make it more personal to me so I get attached.

Caelan for example, is a fae prince who was raised as a weapon by his family during a war, due to his abilities and how intense his magic is-- he was hunting the enemy prince down, had him cornered in a fight, when the ground falls apart beneath them and they're pulled underground-- deep into webbed catacombs, where they're hunted by a monster over and over again. His whole concept was basically born from the desire to play with the idea 'character trapped in a maze being hunted by a creature'. Which--- was initially a concept i started playing with because of a song about the ghosts in pacman being trapped in the game and eaten by pacman xD

I think the main exception to this style of creation for me is Artair, which I'm sure you were asking about! So I apologize ahead of time for the tangent incoming xD

My very first character I ever rped online was Arthur from Mystery Skulls Animated, which was a collection of music videos following a plot revolving around four main characters dealing with the supernatural, set to indie artist Mystery Skulls' songs. But the thing was, MSA only gave us the vaguest details about the characters when the first video came out, which is when I started writing him. The most we knew about Arthur was that he had been possessed and forced to kill a teammate, and that he lost his arm to an animal teammate that seemed to stop the possession. Also that he was kinda like-- a fraidy cat? MSA was basically a parody of Scooby Doo with a twist, so he was a little like a yellow shaggy lol.

But yeah, it was actually really cool because every version of the same character was so wildly different, because it was so vague that there was so much room for interpretation! We weren't sure how well the group knew each other except that they were on the same team, we were only given blood types to determine personality, we didn't even know if the animal teammate spoke to the team-- even things like how they grew up or where they were or family dynamics were up in the air at the time. When his uncle was revealed soon after the video, I wrote Arthur as growing up with him after his own parents passed, but there were dozens of interpretations-- some where Arthur only came to live with him as an adult, or an older kid, with details ranging from his family was bad news, passed, or just too busy to look after him. One of the characters didn't have a last name for years. It was all kinda just--- free real estate lol.

So over the course of a decade I wrote him, i built out every detail about Arthur, including stuff like his history/backstory, his relationships, his abilities, his personality beyond the fearfulness-- even some details about the events that were canon. Over time as I was writing him, he changed personalities in a lot of major ways too, as storylines from rps and events happened while writing him. He changed, for better and worse, and the things I focused on more were less and less aligned with canon. I started experimenting with ideas and concepts i really liked too, especially ones like him being a medium, which then further deviated into eldritch/celestial/fae stuff, since I always had a deep interest in those kinds of beings. But that only continued to take him further and further from anything resembling MSA lol.

And I guess at some point a few years ago, i realized he was basically an OC, but with a canon coat of paint?

Soooo I basically took him and gave him a redesign and overhaul to make him an OC. I kept some elements i loved of Arthur that drew me to him in the first place, but I tried to get away from his original design as much as I could without making him feel too different to my brain. I kept a version of events similar to the first video, due to how formative they were, but everything else pretty much got chucked out. The rest I kept was heavily altered if it wasn't reliant on my own headcanons already.

The only other thing I kept was kind of keeping his name similar. I kept Arthur as a name he used for a while growing up due to kids being mean about 'weird' names, which he still uses as a safety precaution with people/fae, since so much of his history he was known by it. Then I gave him a scots version as his official legal name, since I had headcanoned Arthur was directly scottish anyways and would likely pick it, with the headcanon that as Artair got older he stopped caring what people thought of his name and started going by the one he chose. It was different enough to feel i was separating him from MSA, but close enough that it didn't feel wrong when I was so attached to 'Arthur' as his name for a decade (part of my initial attachment to him was connection to Arthur as a name and him being the color yellow, whoops)

But yeah! Overall for me, it's just about interesting or fun narrative concepts. And then there's Artair being the one canon guy who got hit with extreme OC-ification beams over time xD

I find it funny because the reason behind that poll is sort of a two fold thing. I was talking to one of my audience member who doesn't use social media; and essentially was explaining how I'm a bit of a nuisance in that if I ever see a post talking about how games are bad about gender customization or weight customization or gender equality; I'll always without fail be the first to jump in like "THEN PLAY MABI!"

I sort of jokingly made a point of mentioning how like, if you go on tumblr, go into the mabi tag, and ask anyone there who knows me who "the mabi guy is" or "who's the idiot who shaved the goddess" they'd likely point you to me without any problem. This isn't a case where I think I'm super popular or anything, there are tons of extremely skilled, genuinely entertaining, and interesting people in that tag. I just happen to be the one who often stands out for being a bit deranged when it comes to the way I engage with the game. With examples of that being how I talk about the frog event, mentioning there's literally no frogs in Erinn, bringing up the idea that if we're really raising a bunch of frogs it's essentially ecoterrorism. Or posting about 3D printing adventures and the mishaps that come with it such as accidentally shaving the goddess and being turned into a meme for it. So it's not that I think I'm some outstanding popular individual who's super cool and everyone knows. It's more so if you walk into the Mabi tag and go "hey where's that fucking idiot who has the weird opinions about frogs" enough people or at least the people who know me will likely point you in my direction like "oh yea that's Velvet/Cryptid."

However I got to thinking about how much I'm likely known for, how I have followers, mutuals, and friends; who I've made from many backgrounds and interests. Some people literally know me as a fellow trans individual, some people know me as a vtuber, some people know me from my obsession with ProjMoon; some people literally only know me because I'm outspoken about Native issues and I boycott popular games loudly.

It made me wonder what people mostly saw me as, or what they knew me for. It also made me wonder if anyone would look at the list and go "what the fuck is half of this?! You did what?! You're who!?" Which admittedly would be really funny to me.

But long answer short, as I said at the start; go for it. Honestly I almost included an "all of the above" option but I thought it would sort of make all the other options null and void. Why bother having all the other options if I just gave people the option of saying "yea you're all of this" but I also understand that for a lot of my mutuals, or people who have known me for a good while now; I AM all of those things. Because the people who know me well or who follow my blog and actually read the things I have to say; much like you're saying here, have a very real understanding of me as a nuanced individual to which all of that applies.

At the end of the day it's not like I can really stop you, nor should I. If I really didn't want people to pick such an option, I'd have simply not included it. My though process behind including "Other" specifically was that it's possible someone follows me for entirely different reasons, maybe someone knows me for entirely different reasons; I didn't want to simply lock them into needing to pick something I personally think I'm known for, when that might not be the case.

I'm not big on numbers, it's why I like Tumblr; no one needs to know how many followers I have and such, but I have quite a number and I realize that it's pretty presumptuous of me to assume I know why each and every one of them followed me. I figured leaving Other in the list wouldn't just allow for individuals to list their own reasons but also to include something more specific like "I know you for 2 of these things" or "I know you for ALL of these things."

She did find that Stryker had turned out fine, missing her ddraig, but that was aside for now, she'd find him herself if she had to.

The voice was what she noticed first, as her back was to that radio demon. She did bristle, though did not start or run, ears turning downward as if distained from the frequency alone, tail going stiff. She wasn't going to let him put that fear in her anymore. Cold toward him was the fae demon, turning to him with an iciness in that silver stare. She wasn't just some toy to be played with, not anymore.

He was hiding with the other cubs, all huddled together in the war chief’s house with a few of the dames that didn’t want to join the fight. Unfortunately the fight was all but fair and to celebrate victory the newly-crowned packleader decided to burn down everything that was holy to the original bears of the north, including the war chief’s personal hut - in which the only survivors of the pack were hidden.

Fire spread fast, Makhi barely escaped, flaming licking at his skin - it was too late for the others, though. Some got caught, some never made it out of the fire. He couldn’t remember all of it, the night was still just a distant blur. What he did remember vaguely was staggering through the woods, headed south - away from home, but nowhere specific in mind. They’d never spoken about a possible end-game plan, his parents had been convinced their pack would come around and remember who kept them alive all these years. They were wrong. The boy passed out not far from a cave, exhaustion and pain had taken over. But the boy was in luck as the cave was inhabited, an old exile once banished for his unspeakable crimes from the very same pack as the boy had found his home in there, not far from home - yet far enough away to be safe.

The man took Makhi with him and dressed his wounds, some of which would leave scars, and made sure he survived the night. He did. Days passed and Makhi opened up, explained what happened at home, but the old man had long-since stopped caring about the pack that abandoned him when he needed them the most. He did, though, decide to keep the young cub with him, protect him, care for him and ensure he learnt how to survive on his own. For years Makhi learned to hunt, track, heal, build and cover his tracks should he ever venture out too far. He would be able to survive on his own in the harsh environment of the north, but never once had he been asked if he wanted to. Wild boys weren’t easy to tame, but the old man was holding up quite well despite everything. Ten years after they first met, Makhi would find the old man had passed in his sleep. He was sixteen years old, but capable of looking after himself. He’d been raised to be resourceful, make do with a little and it helped him survive the first years by himself.

With every year passing, he got better and better at it, found the beast within and let his wild side run free. Being one with nature had its perks, but being so far away from anybody also had its downsides. Every bear eventually dreamed of building his own pack, right? Cubs, a mate.. companionship. So did Makhi. He was getting older, he knew he had to find someone soon or he’d never have his own offspring.

Others didn’t really venture this far north often, but if they did he’d pick their scents, which he did. Curiosity piqued his interest and he packed his belongings - consisting of furs mostly, some potions and herbs - dried meat for the way. He followed their scents as far as he could, but with the weather picking up and rain messing with scents, he lost them weeks after having set out, close to a settlement of sorts. He watched them from afar for a little over a week, not sure what he expected to find - or not, but he didn’t like surprises, so he took his time before approaching the heavy gates. Long hair matted in the back, pain drawn across his face and every bit of skin exposed - holy symbols of protection and good fortune, they all meant the world to him.

He was welcome in Willowshire up to some point, despite the impression he must’ve left on them. His impeccable skills in hunting and tracking prey brought him the title hunter. His profession? Duty. He believes in the Blazepelt as a pack, their philosophy close to the one he remembered his parents teaching him as a cub. He doesn’t support the packs coming together due to the experiences with his own. If there’s different sides, leave them be - don’t force them to play together - it would only end in war.

In New Haven

Makhi was already overwhelmed with the differences between his previous life and the modern life the people in Willowshire lived, so New Haven is a lot to take in. His only skills are those of survival, so he’s not sure what life will bring for him in New Haven, but he does hope to find his way.

im currently AR 55, and have been playing genshin since around may or june of 2022 :3

as of posting this i main barbara and kazuha, however when hu tao reruns again (about a week and a half from when im making this post) i fully intend to pull her and main her from then on. she's one of the main reasons i started playing the game, and ive been infatuated with her design, her playstyle and her character since i first found out anything about her, which was long before i started playing.

while memes and fanart will still stay on @/everflameseeds, i created this sideblog as a designated, organized place to share character builds and other game info. im also hoping itll allow me to make some more friends in the genshin community !!

my main genshin account is on the american servers, but i plan to make an EU alt account eventually, to play with some of my friends from the UK. however, if you also play on the american server and want to be in-game friends, feel free to ask me for my UID ^w^
