hihi im salem! my pronouns are he/him and fae/faer and this is my genshin sideblog :3 if you want to follow my main, it's @everflameseeds

im currently AR 55, and have been playing genshin since around may or june of 2022 :3

as of posting this i main barbara and kazuha, however when hu tao reruns again (about a week and a half from when im making this post) i fully intend to pull her and main her from then on. she's one of the main reasons i started playing the game, and ive been infatuated with her design, her playstyle and her character since i first found out anything about her, which was long before i started playing.

while memes and fanart will still stay on @/everflameseeds, i created this sideblog as a designated, organized place to share character builds and other game info. im also hoping itll allow me to make some more friends in the genshin community !!

my main genshin account is on the american servers, but i plan to make an EU alt account eventually, to play with some of my friends from the UK. however, if you also play on the american server and want to be in-game friends, feel free to ask me for my UID ^w^

Yesterday I spent half of my day trying to find a good artifacts for Yae. I didn't know what got into me that I suddenly decided to focus on building her instead of Xiao.

Probably because Valley is being a d and I just had enough lol.

Anyway, it was really stressful getting 2 Thundering for Yae. None of her pieces are actually decent, since they don't have crit sub-stats at all. Despite that, I manage to push her crit ratio to a better side.

She's very low on ER, but I have Fischl as battery and she works great supplying energy for Yae. I'm pretty satisfied with this current build, but I haven't finished leveling up all her artifacts. So this isn't the end yet. I'll update her again once I'm done, maybe with a showcase video too.

✨ Bennet Healer Build ✨

💥 I didn't get Bennett until I reached AR45. And even so, I had to take him home by force by getting him through Paimon's Shop. So yeah, this boy refused to come to my account that I had to sacrifice all my starglitters. But hey, now he's C5 and is the MVP of my gameplay!

💥 Bennett is really easy to build. I didn't even have to farm for his artifacts, I just used the crafting table and recycled stinky artifacts to Noblesse strongbox. It only took him a week before he officially joined my party and ran with a complete set. He is by far the fastest and easiest character I've ever built.

💥 Here are a couple screenshots from him casting his burst. Pretty good damage for a support, huh?

Artifacts Choice

💥 Bennett is mostly known as buffer and healer. He also works as a (pyro) battery. There are a couple artifact sets that work for buffers like him, but I think everyone in the community can agree that Noblesse Oblige is made for him. And you gotta go for the 4 piece set, not just 2.

"Can he work with Emblem?"

💥 Well, he can. But that will take away Noblesse's 20% atk bonus for the rest of the team, and it's gonna be a huge loss for everyone. If you wanna make him as a dps then yeah, you can go with Emblem. But Bennett's burst only makes damage once, and it's when it's casted. Unlike Xiangling's pyronado which deals damage over time. Emblem is more suited for characters with continuous burst damage such as Xingqiu, Raiden Shogun, Xiangling, and Beidou.

💥 So with Bennett, always go with 4 piece Noblesse Oblige, as he will buff atk for everyone not just from his burst, but also from his artifacts.

"His buff scales from his atk. So can I just slap artifacts with atk% on him?"

💥 Sadly, it doesn't work quite like that. His buff only scales from his base atk, not the additional atk that he gets through artifacts or elemental resonance (like pyro resonance team which gives 25% atk bonus).

💥 Base atk only counts from the atk that you get from leveling him up, and from his weapon. And that's it.

💥 So unless you wanna make him as a dps, then atk% stats on his artifacts don't really do much aside from increasing his attack.

💥 That's why Bennett is one of very few support that's worth it to be leveled up all the way to level 90 including his weapon, because then, he will have higher base atk.

Note: Since Bennett is a very versatile support, he often put as the only pyro character in the team. But since he's mostly there for his burst, that means he has to be able to spam it over and over again, going so far as to having 100% uptime. Which is why I recommend you to push his ER number at least more than 200% to make sure that he can supply energy for himself.

Team Composition

💥 He can be put into any kind of party. He's mostly there to help buff the team and also heals. Bennett is a very versatile support that you just wish you can duplicate him in Spiral Abyss.

Talents Priority

💥 Burst > Skill > Normal Attack

💥 If you're very low on resources, just focus on his burst. His burst has to be crowned, you will not regret it.

Weapon Choice

💥 Anything with high base atk, I'd say. As for the weapon's secondary stats, it can be either energy recharge or atk%. Heck, even physical damage bonus can work too. I've seen people put Aquila Favonia on him as it has high base atk.

💥 But if he lacks ER number, then you can try going with:

Electrocharge is a very useful reaction because it can deal a very consistent DMG and also stop the enemies for a few seconds. I'll soon post a showcase video about this composition! A remind that you can also level up Kazuha's NA if you're interested in dealing some more DMG with his skill.
