Deemo - Combining Story and Rhythm to One
Can you imagine a game that is memorable with its music and enthralls you with utter curiosity? A game that is free and doesn't require an internet connection to access the songs? A kind of game that will soothe you and calm your mind? Then buckle up! Because Deemo can fill your hungry heart with fantastical twists!
Deemo is vastly popular worldwide considering that it is developed by the Rayark Company, furthermore, there has an anime adaptation called DEEMO Memorial Keys, you can check it out to see for yourself!Currently, there is Deemo and Deemo Reborn (sequel), I haven’t played the sequel yet so I’ll simply share the original one, but! If you’re interested to play the sequel, you can freely download it on App Store and Google Play. Now then, let's get started!
Deemo is not only a score-based rhythmic game that will strengthen your cognitive functions, but it also has a stirring plot! Get motivated by clicking those piano keys as we get to witness Alice, the main character slowly regaining her memories and finding her way to get back into her world with the help of a non-talking friend Deemo! And all together, we will get to stumble upon some discoveries and cliffhangers that will surely intrigue you to know what will happen within the next chapter! To unlock those chapters is to play the game OR! you need to be reminded of collecting the magical spark surrounding the place, they're usually hidden somewhere so you better keep your eyes wide open to every place you go. Additionally, collecting them would strangely make some slight changes to the objects in the game.

There are three main levels, Easy, Normal, and Hard, each with a difficulty rating measured in a 'Level' scale. The player can also customize the speed of the notes before starting a level, on a scale of 0.5 (slowest) to 9.5 (fastest). Songs can also be "autoplay" (in the Chart Mode), which plays the song automatically but disqualifies any scores. The player must tap on the notes when they reach the bottom line in time with the music, resembling playing on a piano. Black notes with a white interior are the same as normal black notes, only representing non-piano sounds.
Mine notes are the opposite: the player should not tap or slide the note when they reach the bottom line. The player's performance is judged by the accuracy at which each note is hit, which is divided into two types, "True Charming" and "Regular Charming". Misses are also subdivided into three types, white, red, and no glow. At the end of each level, the game shows the player's overall performance in a result screen, providing the proportion of "Charming" hits, the longest chain of consecutive successful hits (Combo), and the overall accuracy in percentage form, with 100% denoting all hits are "Charming".

Outer Wilds - How I Became Entangled to One of the Best Games Ever
GIF from: Tenor
“There is no way to tell you what Outer Wilds is without spoiling it entirely. You have to experience it yourself. Besides, it only takes 22 minutes.” – A Redditor
Outer Wilds is a 2019 video game developed by Mobius Digital and published by Annapurna Interactive. It is a puzzle space exploration game that makes use of knowledge and experience as your key to progressing through the game.
I personally enjoy and love Outer Wilds for its amazing concept and world building. For a space exploration game, there is truly no other game as similar as Outer Wilds. Although the game may seem or look repetitive, all I can say is throughout that repetitiveness, comes a new opening of adventure, wisdom, and a story slowly unfolding ahead of you as you take one step with each run you make. It’s a progress that doesn’t make use of advancements, leveling up, or anything cliche from other progressive puzzle games, but instead seeks and asks you what you have learned and how you can use that knowledge in unlocking the next world.
Actually, I can’t even state that there’s a “next step” in Outer Wilds, given how it’s truly an open world game, where there are no restrictions or guidelines that you’re forced to follow throughout your playthrough - Outer Wilds uses curiosity and the freedom of the player to interact with its playground.
Accompanied with outstanding existentialism soundtracks, and interactable NPCs that you’d get to greet throughout the solar system, you the player becomes attached with its simple but wholesome storyline with the game.

I simply cannot say anything else about Outer Wild’s contents and nature of the game. As someone who has played Outer Wilds without any idea what the game has in store for me, it’s that sense that makes the game a wonderful, memorable, and “oh-I-wish-to-play-this-game-again-for-the-first-time” experience. For you to play Outer Wilds you must be attentive and thoughtful of your decisions, constantly asking what is the next thing you should do as the only hint you’ll ever have is yourself and the time you get to play the game.
Whatever happens next when you play Outer Wilds, I guarantee that it is something to not be feared. Embrace the unknown and let curiosity be your guide. Safe travels astronaut!

The Witness - See the World Differently
How do you solve a puzzle without knowing the rules?
The Witness is a 3D puzzle game that puts the player in a beautiful, outstanding, and mesmerizing island filled with over 650+ puzzles to be solved. All without knowing what exactly the rules are (or supposed, until you understand them..)!
The Witness was designed by Johnathan Blow and developed by Thekla Inc., with a score rating of 10/10 by the Youtuber IGN, it really justifies the simple, well-thought gameplay The Witness has to offer to new unexpecting players who’ll not know what’ll hit them.
One thing that I enjoy about The Witness is its concept. To a non-The Witness player it may seem like dragging one line from one point to another. But the game puts a twist to that, to an extent and pulls it off to its great potential. This truly makes the player think hard, see the world in a different perspective, and think outside the box when solving puzzles in the world.
Also, The Witness doesn’t have a solid storyline to follow but philosophical perspectives and views to seeing the world in different lenses. With tape recorders scattered throughout the world, The Witness makes sure the players are engaged and learn something new, and definitely fits to the whole “a change of perspective” lesson.
Fair warning though, if you start to play The Witness and go through its 650+ fun and head-aching levels, you too might start seeing patterns in real life too (I still see them till this day, haunting me…).
Interested in buying the game? Check it out at Steam!
Look closely Gamers!

OSU! - Precise Rhythm Gaming
OSU! is a rhythm game made by Dean Herbert (Peppy) and it was inspired by iNiS rhythm game OSU! Tatakae! Ouendan. OSU! was released in 2007 September 16.
OSU! has 4 different modes, Standard, Taiko, Catch Mania. People mostly play Standard other than 3 different modes because Standard is the main mode for OSU!. Right now OSU! has around 19.3 million active users….
What are the good benefits of OSU!
Accuracy - Success in Osu! ...
Speed/Reaction Time - You'll discover that when your muscle memory, precision, and consistency improve, you'll be able to do these activities faster.
Stamina - The importance of building endurance in mouse control or your pen tablet is often ignored.
I play OSU! it’s because my brother told me that OSU! is a good game if you want to discover more songs and love rhythm games so I tried playing OSU!, when it was my first time playing this game, I was thinking "hmmm maybe this game isn’t bad at all", and so I got addicted to this game already as if like this game is part of my life that it is impossible for me to stop playing this game and also I have been playing this game for 2 years already and I have entered 3 tournaments already (winter tournament), (Spring tournaments), (Halloween tournament) and it’s going to be my 4th tournament which is another spring tournament….
Looking to give that hand of yours a good round of OSU!, check out their page below and download the game now!
