the parallels between alina asking mal, “you with me?” and him replying, “always” and katniss’ “stay with me” to peeta’s “always” in the hunger games. katniss and alina, two girls that have lost (in some way) both parents, had to fend for themselves, plucked from the masses and forced into something so much bigger than themselves at such a young age. still children and having altars erected to them, being the capitol’s idol, meanwhile fighting off a terrifying fascist and being expected to save the nation with nobody to save them. both of them not knowing the meaning and the finality that “always”, spoken so quietly and passingly, would one day come to have.

peeta and mal, two boys that would do anything for their girls, kids themselves but ultimately used by a dictator to manipulate the ones they love, to force katniss and alina into doing their bidding by way of threatening/ causing harm on these ones they hold dear. two boys who unlearn corrupt things taught to them. peeta, who refuses to let himself be a weapon. mal, who takes power in allowing himself to be a weapon wielded in alina’s hand. katniss and peeta. alina and mal. you with me? “always”

ive been getting back into UT & DR so i wanted to draw my favorite growing up (and currently) so doodles! + mitski reference

i really loved Chara and felt a special connection to them as a little kid and getting back into it i remembered how much i loved them and Asriel too :) they're one of the cutest and saddest siblings duos i forgot i really enjoyed

also got back into little nightmares so have this crossover doodle too ^_^

- I made my favorite characters into their AU 🤭. I probably drew Runaan on his multiple eyes of his hair (similarities like Roo of Evil) on his moon Mask to speaking the moonlight nymphs of Xadia. Macaque has X on his eyes & Miko was the cursed of the Blood Moon 🌙. These three are alike "Sons of the Moon" in different parts on their crowns 🌝

Ethari realized & gets blushed that Runaan is a vampire in the AU story 😆❤️.

I was listening to Six Hundred Strike and Odysseus using Poseidon's trident as well as his dialogue reminded me of Coral, so now I'm imagining her 'convincing' the peacekeepers to let the tributes go by stabbing the peacekeepers over and over again until they comply with her demands. She makes them feel as helpless as they've made the tributes feel and she makes them hurt until they let them go home.

Option two because the Treech brainrot will never end! Coral and Treech are fighting the peacekeepers and one almost kills Coral but Treech saves her life and snaps, grabbing her trident and torturing the peacekeepers until they let everyone go.

Both of them say "Haven't we suffered enough" instead of I. Also, instead of I they say "You didn't stop when they begged you!"

Idk this AU is still in development but I thought I'd share this bit because it's living in my head rent free rn

Summary:

Dota 2 is a free-to-play high fantasy action real-time strategy game developed and released digitally by Valve for the PC, Mac and Linux on July 9, 2013.

Built on the studio's Source engine, Dota 2 is the official sequel to Defense of the Ancients, a series of custom scenarios for the 2002 game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos that originally popularized the "Multiplayer Online Battle Arena" sub-genre. Development of the game is led by the original mod's final lead designer, IceFrog.

Similar to the original mod, the main gameplay pits two five-player teams (the Radiant and the Dire) against each-other as they work to escort their three endless waves of AI-controlled monsters (or "creeps") to the fortified enemy base in order to destroy the enemy "Ancient". Each player controls an individual Hero character and, throughout the match, earn experience (to level up their stats and abilities) and gold (for purchasing items and equipment) by eliminating enemies.

Rather than using a weekly free-to-play character rotation system (similar to other MOBA games at the time, namely League of Legends), the game makes all characters playable from the start and features cosmetic microtransactions (such as alternate appearances for each Hero's armor and weapons, alternate announcers, and custom UI enhancements) using the Steam Inventory and Steam Market systems.

The game received numerous updates since its original release, adding new Heroes, game modes (including support for custom modes), and features while revising certain gameplay mechanics. New features include better support for both new players (with integrated community-made guide support, coaching, and improved training modes) and competitive players (with improved replay and spectator support), as well as VR headset support (for spectating and viewing cosmetics). It also received a reworked client update in June 2015 (named "Dota 2 Reborn" for a short time), porting the game to Valve's Source 2 engine (the first game released with it), and received a complete map revamp on April 2023.

Dota 2 originally received an invite-only beta in November 2011, during Gamescom 2011. It was formally launched July 9, 2013, but access was gated via a queue system until December 16, 2013. It was also distributed as a standalone game in some regions, with Perfect World publishing the game in China, and Nexon publishing the game in both Japan and South Korea. The game also received spin-offs, including the 2018 digital card game Artifact, the 2020 "auto-battler" game Dota Underlords, and the 2021 animated series Dota: Dragon's Blood.

Okay, i didn’t write more of Barf and Belch psychologically torturing the dragon training initiates, BUT, i did roughly outline the first four seasons of RTTE. Like, episode layout and which canon episodes are gonna be in those four seasons. Actual episode layout and all the original episodes and arcs and tying all the episodes to one another and to all the plots and arcs that happen later down the line will be done on another day, but i got the seasons roughly planned! Only problem is that RTTE got bumped up from my original nine to ten seasons, because i wanted to extend the plot i was building

Beginning with this: They are best friends. If it's a ship to me it's a qpr, they're both aroace to me. I filled the bingo sheet out for the qpr flavor specifically. They are best friends but in a very specific way that others around them don't get.

They share everything. Even gender sometimes. Romance-repulsed aro Six and romance-loving aro Mono. Compromising movie nights that all romance movies need to also be horror or comedies so Six has something to get invested in.

☔ Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?

Oh there absolute is and I was really hoping I’d get this one, thank you for sending it! The working title for this fic is “Six Places Wynn Duffy Might Be (But Probably Isn’t)” and it’s probably the most insane and cracky fic idea I’ve ever had—kind of inspired by Timothy Olyphant’s character in The Office—but I really really love it. It’s multimedia, and the basic premise is that Rachel sends Raylan a file with six different leads in it, all of them documenting the possible location and assumed identity of Wynn Duffy. Each lead is a crossover with a different other TV show. The first item is a transcript from Troy and Abed in the Morning, discussing whether or not the new security systems professor and women’s tennis coach at Greendale is actually some kind of disgraced/retired crime lord, based on the evidence that he made several strange comments: one a reference to the job not being exactly what he wants but “at least no one’s throwing bullets at me.”

The second is a town meeting transcript from Pawnee, Indiana discussing the presence of a new food truck run out of an RV called Win-a-Bagel, with some citizens concerned that it’s a scam and/or money-laundering scheme, while other residents argue that it’s not worth looking into and possibly jeopardizing their opportunity to win free bagels. The one after that is a transcript from a documentary about a paper company called Dunder Mifflin currently in production in Scranton, Pennsylvania; specifically, interviews with/about a new hire named Larry Mawkins, who according to his own reports was previously a very unpopular motivational speaker/life coach, until one day the lone member of his audience killed himself in the middle of the seminar. One colleague in particular, Dwight Schrute, has become convinced that it’s impossible for anyone to be that much of a general bore and total failure at life unless it was intentional to make people underestimate and dismiss him, leading to the theory that he’s on the run from either the cops or the mob. Their other colleagues weigh in on the realism and likelihood of this theory. However, Larry Mawkins has since disappeared without warning, having stopped showing up to work the day after a new hire named Danny Cordray joined the staff.

The next two were a lot more vague and sketchy and I was having trouble trying to find shows that Duffy-in-disguise would fit into. The one I got the farthest with would have been a newspaper article from Santa Barbara where Shawn Spencer claims that all of the houses in a recent string of “unconnected” robberies were in fact installed by the same man, despite all being from different companies. When police looked into it, they realized that none of the companies had been made aware of these installations. However, all the names used with the clients were fake names, so there was no way to track down the culprit, and the rash of robberies ended, leaving the case cold. After that, I had a couple ideas that I couldn’t figure out how to fit into the structure: either a loan shark or a rival banana stand owner (who possibly also sold drugs) in Arrested Development was one, and Darryl from Crazy Ex Girlfriend’s new boyfriend, whom everyone agrees is sketchy and probably a criminal, was another.

And then, of course, number six: an extreme (and therefore extremely blurry) zoom on the background of an image posted to Instagram, centered on someone who could possibly be Wynn Duffy, actually on a beach somewhere in Fiji—and lying in the sand next to him is a guy who looks suspiciously like Neal Caffrey ;)
