Me before reading tsc: haha Kevin is weirdly homophobic about Andrew and Neil for someone who has a big fat crush on Jeremy Knox. He's totally in denial and projecting lol.
Me after reading tsc: I-is that why he was- so when he- oh... Oh

The relationship Aerin wants with his mother is not the one he had, despite all the smiling and hugs in this chapter.
So let's do a chronological deep dive of what we learn about Aerin's mother and their relationship.
This only covers up to Book 3, Chapter 9 because I'm playing general release. We still have interactions between these two ahead (I assume), so I'll update if we get anything major! The snippet we see in the divination scene has me very nervous (and excited) this is going to go one of two very angsty ways. NO SPOILERS PLEASE VIP PLAYERS Unless you're reading this in the future and the general release is already done. Then go for it.
Book 1, Chapter 8:
Our first mention of Aerin's mother (technically) happens in Book 1, Chapter 8 during Aerin's diamond scene.
Tumblr media
As @the-unconquered-queen pointed out, parents is very much plural. Aerin has the father we can learn about in a Lore Tablet earlier and (presumably) a mother. And neither seemed to give him much attention at all, to the point that to his child self magic seemed like the only solution. That was how invisible Aerin felt to them. So we know neither of Aerin's parents went out of their way to spend time with or appreciate him.
TTRPG (Released toward the end of Book 2):
Aerin's mother gets a name and confirmation that she is dead in the Aerin's inventory list.
Tumblr media
I've always found this ambiguity about the signet ring fascinating. It's not, "Signet Ring given by his deceased mother, Queen Aurinae," but, "from his deceased mother."
We don't know how Aerin got it from her. Did she specifically make it known before her death that she wanted Aerin to have her signet ring? Or did she die and King Arlan went, "Well, I guess the boy is technically a Valleros. Give him my dead wife's signet ring, she's not using it anymore." Signet rings were often passed down in real-world history, so that's not unlikely.
Especially because Aerin never brings this up. If it was sentimental because of the connection to his mother, why give it away so easily? When he gives it to MC, it could be a way to protect them, both for their own sake and to make sure they can get all the Onyx Shards. But it really seems like he could have just given them a letter with his seal to cover that.
And why not say it belonged to his mother? Wouldn't that be endearing and make it more valuable to MC? Maybe Aerin realized it was given to him as a practical thing, not a genuine expression of connection.
Book 3, Chapter 1:
It all goes silent on the Aurinae front until the floodgates open in Book 3. In the first chapter, you get this discussion (if you choose the non-romance option for Aerin's diamond scene).
Tumblr media
Aurinae was very into alchemy, like Aerin is now. It made her popular in court, which is probably part of why it appealed to Aerin. He couldn't be a strong warrior like his brother, but maybe he could get some positive attention for making useful potions like his mother.
Crucially, based on what Aerin says here, she did not teach him. Not to say that she necessarily wouldn't have- I'm willing to bet she died pre-Dreadlord, so when Aerin was 9 or younger. (Future self correction- she seems to have died post-Dreadlord. I stand by the impression he learned mostly on his own.) But still, alchemy was something he picked up in earnest after she was already gone. He wanted to feel closer to her, to feel like he had that connection with her, something in common with his mother, and was doing something she could be proud of.
Book 3, Chapter 3:
Tumblr media
This reads to me very much like Aerin's mother was the only member of his immediate family not lashing out at him. Which is good! But the bar is so incredibly low, this just tells us she wasn't the worst.
Tumblr media
This is before the party learns that anyone dead can look in on the living. So to Aerin, it seemed like Aurinae may or may not have been hearing from newly dead people that Aerin summoned the Dreadlord, killed his brother, got disinherited and thrown in prison, then died from wandering off like an idiot (according to the offical story).
Aerin's nervousness here is completely understandable. He knows his father hates him. He knows his brother hates him. But he doesn't know how his mother feels. She wasn't violent toward him and there is a chance she might actually love him.
Book 3, Chapter 9:
The woman herself appears!
Tumblr media
Aurinae makes a pretty good first impression. Aerin has absolutely had it rough and it's good that she acknowledges that. Though thanking the group for "looking after" him shows that same mentality the rest of the family has that Aerin is weak and needs to be taken care of to survive.
Tumblr media
This is where it gets extremely interesting. Aerin sounds almost concerned for Baldur. Like he feels bad that he's at the river. Which we know he very much does not. I'd be willing to bet Aerin wishes Baldur was somewhere much worse (seriously, does anyone go to the Hells? Does he get pity points for being murdered?) Something about speaking with his mother makes Aerin show concern for his abusive brother.
Aerin also doesn't confess or ask forgiveness for killing Baldur. Maybe he doesn't want to bring that part up?
As for Aurinae... this is not an apology. This is not an acknowledgment of any negligence or regret on her part. In fact, it's phrased in a way that makes it clear she has absolutely no blame for what happened. She had hoped Baldur would act one way, and he did not. Oh well.
This is also an incredibly tame reaction. Like he embarrassed her at a party, not ruthlessly beat and intimidated her child. I would think most people would be devastated and/or enraged, maybe so relieved that despite all that Aerin is okay. The most generous possible reading is that she still has that noble desire not to show her emotions in public and she doesn't want to upset Aerin by getting into it here.
Tumblr media
First of all, I want to shake this man. Second, Aerin doesn't usually devalue himself like this. When alone with MC or as a quip while fighting unkillable monsters, sure. But not with a genuine smile. This feels like Aerin making the point that he'll try really hard but he might still be weak and useless.
And this is the end of the interaction. No reassurance from Aurinae. And for the record, Tyril's mother is far more complimentary toward Aerin than his own mother is.
During the diamond scene, this is part of the conversation if you ask for a story about Aerin.
Tumblr media
It seems like Aurinae doesn't necessarily connect Aerin's interest in alchemy to her own. But it sounds like she did at least take some interest in his studies. So that's something!
But you get something else if you ask for a story about the mothers. They talk about an extremely spicy tea Aurinae makes. Apparently Aerin tried it as a child and...
Tumblr media
Oh wow. If this isn't a metaphor for pre-Onyx Shards Aerin, I don't know what is. Literally in pain trying to please someone else, insisting everything is great.
If you choose to pull Aerin aside later, he admits that he's been acting differently with Aurinae around, describing it as "falling into old patterns."
Tumblr media
One of the main reasons Aerin wanted to be close to his mother as a child was hoping that she would rescue him. Again, I think it's helpful to recognize what this isn't. This isn't Aerin saying being around his mother made him happy, or feel safe. It's him saying he hoped that if he could be "good enough" she would protect him. Because she had no innate desire or reason to do that. And at least she wasn't actively scaring him like his father and brother.
Aerin's reason it was a "foolish dream" is also very telling. Not because protocol wouldn't allow it, but because Aurinae saw no reason to leave. They didn't treat her poorly, so why would she want to leave? Certainly not to protect her younger son.
If she really had "no trouble putting her foot down," why no intervention between Aerin and Baldur? It sounds like she wasn't scared of the rest of the family. So did she not notice? Or did she not care?
What we've seen so far has not convinced me that Aerin and Aurinae actually had a loving relationship. Just that Aerin wanted one so badly he can almost see it that way. Because Aurinae is better than the rest of his family, but still far from a good mom with genuine affection for her child.
I will be keeping my headcanon that Aerin was desperate to connect with his mother, but she never particularly cared about him.
Screenshots are a combination of my own and ones from Neckrone Shen's playthroughs on youtube. I feel like I owe them a drink for all the time they've saved me looking for stuff.

Hi! I'm going to torment you with more of my asks because the lack of news made me anxious. I did a brief research and I found Helmut saying that the decision will be made on Monday (today) but it won't be announced until later and Horner saying that the public announcement will be made after the Yuki test (it is supposed to be tomorrow I think?). Horner confirmed it, saying that even if they reach an agreement (which suggests that Sergio is out for sure) it won't be made public right away. My guess? They want Sergio to get to Mexico before they make it official so the press won't hound him on the airport or anything (but why would they care for his comfort only now is outside of my understanting). My other guess is that they didn't reach an agreement and will discuss over the next few days (can't see Sergio agreeing to go with no pay off) and just don't want to many papparazzi around the talks. The only other take I have is that they really want to let Yuki have a go in RB20 (and I am almost sure they will say he was worse than Lawson without showing the results) and see after that. Do I see some of the shareholders standing with Checo? Sure. Can I also see Markorner spinning the narrative to show that Sergio is incompetent and leave him to defend himself when the decision was made without him already. Why do I think that? Couple of reasons, one is Horner being nice about Checo after the race and not saying anything about the clutch (and we know him being nice is a bad thing) and Helmut staying quiet. Sergio's change of attitude after the last race also seems suspicious. Jos's silence seems strange too. Also I saw those quotes so I know something isn't right (Horner and Marko being calm and easy about all this when they were barking all the time about how Sergio should quit is... disturbing. Also Horner highlighting the achivements they made as a team - calling Sergio 'their driver' in the same breath he called him 'the team's servant'):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I also saw Horner saying something about the point gap being too big and that they 'need to see what went wrong' but can't find the quote. Sorry. On the other hand I saw a piece of interview I hadn't seen before and this is:
Tumblr media
So I can see the talks not going Markorner's way - Sergio won't let them force him to retire. And if he goes, at least he will fight for the money - thank god that he is not from RBR academy and doesn't feel that sick kind of loyalty Helmut wanted to brainwash all his drivers with. And on a more humoristic note I found this:
Tumblr media
The wording is just... yeah. He to 'bow out quietly'... Why should he? and he is not emphasizing anything, he is doing what any driver in his place would - fights for his dignity and for what he deserves. But I guess that for the media this coming from him it's not about being strong and knowing his worth but just being stubborn and silly. Gotta love the British press. I think it's weird nothing was leaked or anything, usually the internet is full of speculations and 'info from inside' coming out every second. It's either a very difficult talk or they made it a complete secret because large sums of money are being discussed there.
Oh, you don't torment me! On the contrary, I love having someone to discuss wild theories and sharing the anxiety (that sounded better in my head).
We shouldn't be surprised by the lack of... anything, honestly. Nothing good or bad, even I have noticed how the RBR admin who loved to feed Chestappen is now on a break too, even before Max announced his future parenthood.
Every media said that today (it's still monday in my timezone) was the famous meeting where Sergio's future was decided, but they failed to say when they would share it with the rest of the world. I guess we expected too much from them thinking that they would just give us the news straight up (even when Horner and Marko said they would share the news later).
There are two journalist here in Mexico that follow Checo's career very closely and one of them claims having close relationships with a few persons on the padock and from Checo's inner circle. Well, he posted a video today, answering questions, and he said that the news about whatever was going to happen will be out on Wednesday, so it fits with your theory of waiting to see how Yuki does in the test tomorrow.
Also, they need to test both cars (for what I saw and understood, but maybe I'm wrong, I've never paid that much attention to the post-season tests), but only Yuki is confirmed for RB and Lawson for Visa. I still believe they had secrets tests with all the drivers in the summer, and nobody could do better than Checo in that blasted car. Now they want to see if things change, but they'll never tell.
I think the shareholders are tired of the inside war the team seems to have; Markorner is creating a very toxic enviroment that is causing everyone to leave, and they need to consider that as well.
What makes me mad is that people keep pushing the 'agreement' agenda, like Checo should bend over to RBR wishes and not fight for what he deserves; after how he has been treated, he should fight for what's fair, not to just 'bow out quietly'. They signed the contract, and even when Markorner said that maybe it hadn't been a good idea, they know perfectly well why they did it. Checo said that in an interview 'there's a reason why I was renewed in the middle of the year, and the team knows it'.
The silence is eering, I was expecting tons of wild rumors, but so far it's the same recycled things, adding the 'Perez should go quietly'.
I guess we shall see on wednesday, but RBR loves the drama, I fear they just keep quiet until next year.

can they just say whos voicing shadow already so i can be free from the neverending cycle of random twitter users claiming to know who the va is and saying it with no evidence and people just believing it and spreading it as confirmed fact
#''keanu reeves is voicing shadow guys !!! look this leaker confirmed it !!!!''#we've been through this already you guys were saying the exact same shit about hayden whatever his name is not too long ago. come on.#idk what it is about the sonic movies specifically that has people accepting baseless rumors as facts#or falling for obviously fake leaks or just spreading easily debunked misinformation#or even taking something that Is true and turning it into some wild exaggerated version that definitely isnt true anymore#example of the last thing: i once saw people take ''the director of the sonic movies worked on the cgi cutscnes for shadow the hedgehog''#which is true. and turn it into ''the creator of the shadow the hedgehog game is being brought onto the movie team to make sonic 3'' ?????#and also people saying that the third movie is confirmed to be a shadow the hedgehog adaptation#JUST because some of the writers mentioned that game in an interview once as a shadow focused game they COULD take inspo from#but didnt confirm anything.. and people were also framing these claims as reasons to panic because they dont like shth#which makes it more annoying ...#also the amount of times ive seen obviously fanmade movie posters for sonic 3 being spread around as real. come on.#not saying the keanu as shadow rumors are 100 percent fake but we definitely dont have any reason to be immediately accepting#them as fact either. because this person is providing literally no evidence and could easily be lying

— Behind the scenes (non social media blurbs)
blurbs from the series Rumor Has It
SERIES MASTERLIST a/n: hey ya'll, thank you so much for being so patient with me, I apologize if this is a little short, life has been getting so hectic lately I haven't had time to update the series. Heres a little non social media blurb for you guys! :)
requests are open! feel free to request in my ask box!
Tom grabbed your waist, lifted you up, and spun you around. Giggling, you playfully kicked your feet in the air. The sand was warm, inviting, the sun was beaming down on you both.
He set you down gently back to your reading spot, and you continued with your book.
You sigh. You’re falling for him, and falling for him fast. Does he feel the same way? Is he toying with your heart?
“What’s wrong?” Tom asks, lying down beside you on your beach blanket.
“Nothing, just looking at the handsome guy in front of me.” you smile at him as he begins playing with your hair.
You both stay like this for a while. Eventually, Tom wraps his arms around you, and the two of you begin to cuddle. It’s getting chillier as the sun sets, and his arms provide you with the warmth you need.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Game Development Overview:
Title: GTA: The Magic Kingdom Platform: PlayStation 7 Developer: Rockstar Games in collaboration with DearDearestBrands Genre: Open-world Action/Adventure
Storyline:
In GTA: The Magic Kingdom, players explore a dark, reimagined version of Disney's iconic Magic Kingdom. The world is divided into themed lands, each with its own rules and factions. At its core, the story follows a criminal protagonist who is embroiled in a high-stakes battle for power and survival within the kingdom's chaotic, secretive underworld.
The protagonist (you) is a mysterious figure drawn into the Magic Kingdom's politics, where a sinister force is using the enchantment of Disney’s original lands for darker purposes. The hunt for Bambi, who is rumored to possess extraordinary powers tied to the kingdom’s survival, becomes a central pursuit, while the player navigates treacherous alliances, heists, and confrontations.
Main Character:
Tumblr media
Name: Maximus Dark (or choose your own name) Backstory: A former magic thief, Maximus was exiled from the underworld for crossing a powerful figure. Now, forced to work in the Magic Kingdom's black market, he must hunt down Bambi and unlock secrets from deep within the kingdom's enchanted areas. Maximus has a personal vendetta against the kingdom’s rulers, who wronged him in his past. Throughout the game, the player will uncover the protagonist’s lost memories and long-forgotten connection to the forest kingdom that Bambi hails from.
Motivation: Maximus's primary goal is to reclaim his lost power, discover the truth behind Bambi’s existence, and stop a powerful corporation that seeks to rewrite the very essence of the Magic Kingdom. As the story unfolds, Maximus will face moral dilemmas, where every choice shapes the fate of the kingdom and his own soul.
Supporting Characters:
Tumblr media
Bambi - The elusive and powerful figure whose very presence is tied to the survival of the kingdom. Bambi is the key to restoring balance but is hunted by those who wish to harness their power for dark purposes. They are often seen as a mystical being, guiding the protagonist toward their true destiny.
Claire Jorif Valentine – An enigmatic leader of a rebel faction, Claire operates in the shadows, challenging the corrupt rulers of the kingdom. She provides Maximus with missions, allies, and sometimes betrays him to further her hidden agenda. A powerful figure in the underworld, she seems to know more about Bambi than she lets on.
The Enchanted Guardians – These figures protect each themed land within the Magic Kingdom. They could either be allies or enemies depending on how the player approaches them. The Guardians are immortal beings who represent the natural forces of the kingdom—ranging from corrupted versions of iconic Disney characters like Captain Hook, Maleficent, or the Queen of Hearts.
Tiger Lily – A key ally who once helped Bambi and holds secrets to unlocking the magical energies in the kingdom. She is on a quest to stop the dark forces from taking over the kingdom. As a supporting character, she aids in quests related to nature and magic and can unlock special abilities for the player.
Walt - A mysterious figure who seems to control the Magic Kingdom’s darkest secrets. He appears to have been a creator of both the magic and the corruption that now threatens the lands. Maximus will need to confront him as the story builds toward the final confrontation.
Gameplay:
Open-World Exploration: The game world is split into different magical lands, such as Adventureland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and others. Each land offers unique challenges, missions, and enemies. Players can freely explore these areas and engage in side missions while unraveling the main story.
Combat: Players can engage in both ranged and hand-to-hand combat, using magical powers, enchanted weapons, and advanced technology. The combat system is dynamic, blending traditional open-world combat with the ability to wield magic and technology.
Heist Missions: As Maximus tries to gain control of the Magic Kingdom, he must undertake heists to infiltrate high-security areas and steal vital items—such as keys to unlock magical areas or magical artifacts that help in the hunt for Bambi.
Choices & Morality: The game emphasizes player choices, with the narrative changing based on decisions. Will Maximus become a hero, villain, or something in-between? The relationship with Bambi and other characters is crucial, as decisions affect both alliances and the kingdom’s fate.
Stealth and Deception: Players can also use stealth to infiltrate the kingdom’s high-security areas or employ deception to manipulate enemies. Using disguises, magic, and technology, Maximus can change the course of battles or avoid them altogether.
Motivation of Player:
The player is constantly driven by the need for power, knowledge, and redemption. They must build their empire, uncover the dark secrets of the kingdom, and forge relationships with various characters—each with their own agendas. However, the hunt for Bambi represents more than just a physical chase; it's a quest for deeper understanding, as Bambi’s powers could either save or doom the Magic Kingdom.
Key Objectives:
Locate Bambi: The primary objective is to find Bambi before the forces of darkness do. Along the way, players uncover the mysteries of the forest kingdom and its connection to the greater magical world.
Restore the Kingdom: Players must gather allies, defeat corrupt leaders, and unlock ancient powers to restore balance to the kingdom. Each land requires the completion of key quests, often involving battles, negotiations, and solving puzzles.
Uncover Maximus’s Past: As Maximus’s memories return, the player will unlock hidden abilities and unique storylines. The past is filled with betrayal and secrets that will help guide the future of the kingdom.
End the Corruption: Maximus must dismantle the oppressive corporation that seeks to control the kingdom's magical energy. This requires sabotaging their operations, stealing key documents, and confronting their leaders in epic battles.
The Final Confrontation: In the game's climax, the player must decide whether to join Bambi in their fight for freedom or betray them to seize ultimate power. The fate of the Magic Kingdom—and possibly the world—rests in the player’s hands.
This game blends classic open-world gameplay with dark fantasy elements and a rich narrative, providing players with the chance to explore a re-imagined Disney universe full of intrigue, magic, and moral complexity. The pursuit of Bambi adds layers of mystery and suspense, making this a truly unique entry in the GTA franchise.

To project the potential success of GTA: The Magic Kingdom in 2025, we need to consider various factors including market trends, audience engagement, and the unique elements of the game. Here's a breakdown:
Market Growth for Open-World and Action-Adventure Games:
Current Trends: The gaming industry, especially for open-world games and action-adventure genres, has shown steady growth. Titles like Grand Theft Auto V, The Witcher 3, and Cyberpunk 2077 continue to drive demand for expansive worlds with immersive stories.
Projections: The global gaming market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 9.5% from 2024 to 2028. As GTA: The Magic Kingdom combines elements of beloved franchises (GTA and Disney), it could tap into both established fanbases, providing a unique mix of nostalgia and innovation.
Audience Engagement and Sentiment:
Nostalgia Factor: The reimagining of Disney’s Magic Kingdom with dark and mature themes will likely engage both nostalgic fans of Disney and mature audiences looking for an alternative take on Disney. This could boost both initial sales and long-term engagement.
Fanbase Growth: By 2025, your fanbase could grow significantly as the game's story unfolds. Assuming solid marketing campaigns and collaborations with influencers or streamers, you might see a steady increase in followers and engagement leading up to and after the game’s release.
Projections: Positive sentiment is expected if the game's unique blending of fantasy, technology, and dystopian elements resonates with audiences. Projections for engagement could range from a 15-20% increase in social media mentions in the first year after release.
Technological Advances and Game Development:
PlayStation 7 and Future Hardware: Given the expected launch of PlayStation 7 around 2025, GTA: The Magic Kingdom could be designed to take full advantage of next-gen console power. This will allow for an even more immersive experience with advanced graphics, smoother gameplay, and expansive worlds.
Projections: With the integration of next-gen technologies (such as AI-driven NPCs and advanced virtual reality options), GTA: The Magic Kingdom could have a 30-40% higher player retention rate due to these enhanced features.
Sales Projections:
Market Demand: Based on trends for similar games (open-world, fantasy, and action-adventure), initial sales could range between 5-10 million copies within the first year.
Projections for 2025: The game could potentially reach 15-20 million copies sold by 2025, depending on post-launch expansions, updates, and downloadable content (DLC). A strong, loyal fanbase built from the early adoption of the game could help push this figure higher.
Expansion and Future Growth:
DLCs & Expansions: By 2025, the game could see its first major expansion, adding new zones, characters, and stories to keep players engaged.
Projections: Expansions or sequels could drive continued engagement. This could result in an additional 10-20% increase in sales in the second year post-launch, especially if the game incorporates user feedback and evolves based on community input.
Marketing and Brand Partnerships:
Brand Alignment: With ties to Disney, GTA: The Magic Kingdom could attract partnerships, cross-promotions, and collaborations with major brands.
Projections: These collaborations could increase visibility, leading to higher-than-expected sales and engagement. With a proper marketing push and potentially viral content, the game's overall reach could expand significantly, especially if there are partnerships with influencers or Disney-themed events.
Summary of Projections for 2025:
Sales: 15-20 million copies sold globally
Player Engagement: 30-40% higher retention with the introduction of new technology
Audience Growth: Significant increase in fanbase with positive sentiment and engagement, likely 20-25% growth year-over-year
Brand Partnerships and DLCs: Increased revenue from post-launch content and collaborations
Overall, with the unique blend of popular genres and the anticipated growth of gaming markets, GTA: The Magic Kingdom could be positioned for strong performance by 2025, with significant growth in both sales and player engagement.

I have slowly been making my way into the asoiaf lore but I’m curious where the backstory on blood raven is🤔
Okay, so I'm no expert or anything, but I'll provide a brief crash course:
Brynden Rivers, son of Melissa Blackwood and Aegon IV Targaryen, known as one of the many Great Bastards. His defining features are his white hair, pale skin, and red eyes caused by being born an albino. He also has a winestain birth mark on his cheek resembling a raven, some say, the origin of the nickname Bloodraven. He was legitimized with his other siblings on Aegon IV's death bed, causing a sucession crisis.
He was a Targaryen loyalist during the Blackfyre Rebellions, I believe a civil war between the Targaryens and the Blackfyres (like the Targaryens but Not) as a result of the sucession crisis. He loses one of his eyes during this war, but he almost never patched it, choosing to keep it out in the open.
He's the last known wielder of Dark Sister, sword of Visenya the Conquerer (currently in Daemon's possession in House of the Dragon) and is a skilled archer.
Under the reign of his half brother Aerys I Targaryen, he served as Hand of the King and Master of Whispers, and then as Hand of the King for Aerys' successor, Maekar I. Eventually he becomes Lord Commander of the Night's Watch until he (and Dark Sister) vanished one day beyond the Wall.
It's not the end for Brynden, though, as he is in fact, still alive during the events of Game of Thrones as the Three Eyed Crow/Raven, the last greenseer. Bran Stark's mentor.
I'm very fascinated by Bloodraven as a character and I think he might be one of the coolest characters in the ASOIAF universe.
His wiki provides more in-depth information:

my favorite game is going i think the character that i view very much as extremely similar to myself and see a lot of myself in has this and then going but that doesnt reflect on me or say anything about me despite those being extremely relatable traits. my second favorite game is doing that but with my mom and friends instead.

w. blackmail, toxic workplace
ugh, men and their disappearing acts.
he's the third one who's gone missing this month, shouldn't the hr department be suspicious about this? oh right, they're never bothered to investigate such matters unless the higher-ups order them to. stupid leeches, maybe the owner should look into laying them off so there'll be more resources (and bonuses) for the other departments who deserve it.
i'd ask darling to suggest it during the quarterly executives' meeting but san's always too close for me to do it. he's so clingy, always hovering around our boss whenever he can. san enjoys acting like an angel, but the glare he gives everyone who's "too close" is anything but innocent.
i swear, if he doesn't stop giving me that look every time i go to darling's office to hand over reports, he won't like what i plan to do to him. of course i'm confident about this; san's not the only one who knows how illusions and tricks work.
with one click, the magician's secret to performing his best trick will be unveiled.
feel free to check out the other rumors !

I think it's much better/funnier if Aurra Sing, upon regaining agonizing consciousness following her "deadly fall" at Beckett's hands, just takes that as her sign to retire.
She survived the Clone Wars, the Jedi, the damn Republic. When she ends up broken at the bottom of the mineshaft/cliff/Nar Shadaa's 22nd floor, she decides "kriff this, I'm out."
