Newt gets sad when he hears people talking about all the gladers except Alby, as if he was the only one who remembers him.

Gally and Minho are a couple. They joke about their trauma as a coping mechanism, but when Gally makes jokes about Minho hurting him (because of the spear accident) he gets genuinely affected.

Newt still has suicidal thoughts. They're not really strong and it doesn't cross his mind to try anything, but Thomas is afraid that one day he'll wake up and Newt has tried it again.

Thomas can’t get in the water. He enjoys being in the beach but when he enters the water he gets flashbacks of watching his friends drowning in those big water tanks.

Minho still runs every morning around the island. He says he’s okay and it’s just his way of clear his head, but he’s actually so used to run that he feels it as an obligation.

Newt and Thomas have a third bed in their small bedroom because there are days where Minho has nightmares and goes to their room since sleeping around people calms him down.

When Gally wakes up and doesn’t see Minho in his bed he gets really worried and desperate, thinking Minho had another hallucination again and left alone.

Newt gets insecure because Thomas still thinks about Teresa from time to time, he feels he will never get the same place as she had in Thomas’s heart.

Brenda watches the stars every night, wondering if that tale of people becoming stars when they die is true, and if her brother is one of them.

Frypan gets a little lonely sometimes. All of his friends are in a relationship except him, it makes him feel like no one will ever love him that much.

Sonya and Newt eventually remember they are siblings, they try to regain their bond with each other but they just can’t see the other as their sibling, they spent too much time apart.

throughout the short duration of my maze runner hyperfix i would write down random thoughts/headcanons i had about them so i'll just copy-paste all of them here

- newt is crazy ticklish but he gets so irritated when someone tickles him. minho does not care

- newt cant sleep in the same room as thomas because thomas snores crazy loud and newt is a v light sleeper

- thomas has a really bad habit of chewing on his fingernails

- once newt got over them kidnapping thomas, he got along really well with group b. and they loved him too (ik him and sonya r siblings but him and harriet would be such good friends. see the vision)
