"Please! Just this one tiny favour and I won't ask again...well not for a while anyways". He was acting in his usual over dramatic way as he tried to have Elise try on the new dresses that he'd purchased for her a few days ago. They'd been having this same 'fight' for the last four days now - maybe it was simply a method that the Boss used to deal with the building sources of stress he seemed to be dealing with these days. Walking around from his desk, he picked up the pink frilly dress, holding it up for Elise to see, "Don't you think you'd be adorable in this!? The colour would suit you so well...and the ribbons match the ones in your hair too!", he paused, before giving the little girl and pleading expression, "Please?"

Yet another bump that would be able to rouse anyone that was perhaps hoping to get a chance at rest. The familiar feeling of the twin next to him, silent yet the presence was all too obvious at the same time. Two lookalike siblings were bound to be notable, after all. But yet, the presence of the others within the carriage were also all but unknown. The man and woman on the side across from them, nothing one would think too much of most of the time.

It seemed to rouse the woman on the other side, almost as if she was snapping out of a sort of daze that caused confusion and a lack of awareness. But then the man started to speak to her since he had tried to speak to the twins to no avail. But yet, while she was speaking to him, she was moreso noting. . . Something, that seemed to catch her interest near the twins. Nothing actually being there to most, but something she could still seem to see nonetheless.

The words of the area, something that a newly arrived person of Gridania should know about the people and what had happened since the calamity. She was taking interest, sure, but her interest had been on the nothingness next to them, and then the fighting that was going on outside soon after. A look of curiousity, interest even. As if it was something that she had never quite seen before. At least, not to this degree-

". . . Interesting." She Au Ra quietly muttered to herself, lips pursing at the fighting before she could feel the carriage start to speed off with them in it. The sudden movement seemed to cause her to practically fall out of her seat, letting out a quiet noise of temporary pain from the kind of landing she had gotten just from that in of itself. She knew it wasn't intentional, but. . . Ow. . .

Instead, her gaze went back to the others, getting back up and getting the reassurance that she needed that they were alright-

". . ." The smallest, quietest sigh slipped out of the young Elezen boy's mouth as the chocobo carriage hit another bump in the Twelveswood. Having been stirred from his sleep, he opened his eyes only just enough to be able to see what all was going on around him. The young woman, the older man, the moogles floating about the carriage causing trouble as they usually did. He knew that most weren't going to be able to see them, so he said nothing of their presence.

Of course, when the Ixal attacked the carriage, he was mildly concerned. It wasn't like the beastmen to attack so close to the larger city-states, yet he had heard of it having happened multiple times on their way to the Tweleveswood. He had to wonder what was allowing to push on closer and closer, outside of the Garleans also barking at their heels.

Ah, it was nothing for them to immediately worry about. He did however note the way that the young Au'ra had fallen over when the carriage jolted forwards. That brought him to being fully awake, and likely did the same for his sister, though he didn't pay much mind to that at the moment.

"You're alright there, yes?" He hadn't planned on speaking at all during the entire ride, but the natural concern about making sure a fellow member of the Source was okay just simply. Took over.

"The truth. . ." Krystal sat there quietly, having only echoed what seemed to be the most important piece in that whole phrase. 'The truth.' So, should she tell about the parts of her that make her feel jealous of the Elezen? The pieces of admiration she feels when they have to work together to keep the attention of a monster of Michael or anyone else? The slivers of doubt that grew over the years regarding her. . . Hatred. The tears she shed when she realized that she threw away someone important to her husband. . .?

She was silent for quite some time, almost seeming as if she wasn't going to give any sort of answer at all, but it would come out. Soft as an evening's breeze in the spring.

". . . I'm sorry. . ."

Maika is slowly poking her head around, looking at the egg-shaped being for a moment, nose barely popping out from around the wall. "A... Trip? Can I come?" She was technically his child, too, after all-

"But of course, dear! Besides, I'm sure Sage would love to have some other feminine company along with! And I hear that sometimes there are some wild chao around the area, due to the freshwater!" Eggman grinned as he offered a hand towards the small brown hedgehog, ready to lift her up onto the Egg Mobile, so they could head out and meet up with the rest of their group. He figured she would likely have some snacks and what not on hand for the chao in the area, and her teaching Sage how to care for a chao wouldn't be a bad thing either.

Just as long as his fleet doesn't turn into a gigantic chao resort-

It wasn't even as if she was trying to play dumb, she literally had no clue of what was going on! Miran pressed her lips in a thin line, growing rather frustrated over the fact that she had absolutely no good feeling neither. Yet, she didn't know if she was right or wrong about that. Sometimes, just sometimes, she was a tad too cautious. Something she had thanks to her parents - after all it were them who painted the outside of the hotel as if it was all bad.

"If you tell me what is going on, I might can make it easier for you.", she offered as calm as possible, "It really depends though on what it is you want, sir.".

“This isn’t your average every day darkness. This is....ADVANCED darkness” (From Marinette to Adrien)

Truth to be told, Adrien was a little upset about it getting dark this early in the day. Not like he was afraid. Far from it but the way the sky darkened was quite concerning. There wasn't even a sunset. Something about it bugged him. And when Marinette added her usual theatrics, it didn't help the situation.

"C'mon Marinette, you know that's not true. Darkness is just darkness".

Did he need to check if it was from an akuma? But Ladybug wasn't even close to here so Adrien made the decision to just stay put next to the girl in case she started to worry for real. He would find his superhero teammate later even though he wishes Ladybug was here after all. Oh the irony.

Icon Commissions!

Hellohello! I normally take requests for series I am already doing, but I am opening up commissions for 100x100 base icons in particular! If I can find the series, I will icon it, pretty much!

Prices? Well, here they are! Most people seem to do 5$ per 100 icons, which I think is pretty fair for manga/comic icons. Anime will be 6$ per 100, as I personally cap the series to make sure that there is a wide range of facial expressions when possible. If the series is NSFW (Both smut and gore) or it is a main character, I will be tacking on an extra 2$ per circumstance. HOWEVER, keep in mind that I do things per volume/episode, and not just per 100 icons. You can either pick a volume/episode, or I will start at the first area the character appears in, and I will try to get as many icons as possible within that section! However many icons I get by the end will be the price of the work. I also do full-volume work, as in I will icon literally everything in that volume of a series for the same prices already listed.

These icons will get publicly posted for use of others, but the credit of the people who commissioned it will be in the post as well, as a little thank you for commissioning.

Maybe he shouldn't have had quite as many drinks as he had the night before, but there was also no point in dwelling on such mistakes either, even if his head was currently making it a rather difficult task to focus on the blueprints before him. The majority of his work for this one project had been hit with delays over and over again, and he was beginning to feel as though his client was simply playing with him now. Sighing, Kaveh placed his arms on the table and buried his head between them, a low groan given as he heard approaching footsteps. Please don't let this be another lecture, or worse, more delays.

". . . Painful. Powerful. Exhausting." Three words, that pretty much summed it all up, as he thought back on the first experience of ripping the mask off his face and the bloody mess that it left him. The power he got in return though was nothing like he'd ever felt or imagined before. But then came the exhaustion that followed afterwards in the face of what all had happened. Of course, some of that exhaustion was from the sheer stress he'd been going through, with Kamoshida being a dick as he had been at the time, but all the same. It had been absolutely utterly exhausting.

"It's a nice thought." She nods. But looking back on it, she never truly had that same experience. She never actually got to do schooling like that. Especially not after being forced to evict her home. A part of her always remained curious as to what could've been. But given the hardships, things still did turn out rather well.

"I will admit, though." Eliane leans back. Thinking about how she could even say she lacked so much schooling. The one thing she'd grown up dedicated to was magic. When it was suggested to her during her trip, she didn't think much of it. There had been no way she'd be allowed to leave Ishgard for longer than she already was. Even if it included her magic studies. Why learn it elsewhere when you can learn from home? "I am far less educated than all of you."

It's where she lacked in that sense. But at least she gets the impression that she and Estinein are of similar mind. Especially having grown up friends and all. Nothing they learned seemed to compare to everyone else. But at least the two of them had some way of helping when it came to the non intellectional things.

"That's mostly why I can't truly see myself as a researcher or even scholar, for that matter." She leans back in her seat and crosses her arms, and laughs. "At least Ruby and I can hit things hard with magic."

"Ah, yes. There have been plenty of researchers based in various locations across Etheirys." Given some of the base information he had received when he was still studying, it would be far from odd if he had, at some point, come across her own father's work in order to finish a project he was working on. An interesting thing, really, is that people could end up connected in such a small but fundamental way regardless of how aware people may be of it. "I wouldn't be surprised if I had used anything he had done at some point. We tend to reference plenty of different work to give our theories more evidence of being possible."

It was hard to get people to believe it there otherwise. Or to even really look at it...

Though, he found himself easily believing the other, a quiet chuckle emitting from him at the thought. "It would be far more difficult to not believe that. I think you and Alisaie would've gotten along rather well." His sibling could've used a couple more people to be social with, even if she didn't want to admit it. "Though the idea of us having possibly had the chance to know one another prior to the Scions is quite interesting. Strange how close people can be connected without realizing it."

As Ambrose closed the shop door behind him, he casually walked up towards the counter looking at the different guns that were on display.

"So, just what do you have that you can recommend for someone that isn't exactly used to heavy recoil, but still wants to do some serious damage to something or someone in the event of self defense?"

"Pst, City Beaver." A certain brown rabbit's gaze was off to the side, toward the other. "Based on my understanding of the multiverse, would you be considered watered down? Would, like, most everyone be considered that? Genuine question for ya, doc."

"Y'know what, that's a fair question there. Because that would bring into question, what would the raw, non-watered down version of us have to look like? Would they be perfect caricatures of what we think ourselves should be? Or would they be something different? Would they even have all the same experiences as us?" Eggman rocked away for a moment, thinking heavily about that question. Multiversal queries of the sort always brought a great deal into question, even amongst scientific individuals such as himself. Given the genuine nature of her question, he was willing to let the beaver comment slide for the time being. He was rather tired of fighting about it as it were.

"Just a little startled.", Miran assured the little girl with a soft smile on her lips. Her glance went to the spot where an anemo slime had just been, before she sighed in relief. It was tad embarrassing to get safed by somebody so young and almost losing against something so meak.

"Those slimes are really mean. As catalyst I have no chance against them, no matter how hard I try.", she muttered more to herself rather than to the girl, but she soon turned to Klee once more, "Are you okay? Whatever you threw seemed... pretty explosive.".

Kunikida couldn’t help but smile inwardly at Maika’s words. “I can understand that. I am just the same way but there are times I need to remind myself that I have friends from the agency that can help me.”

As long as Maika kept in mind that there will always be people who are willing to help her.

“Yes, I did. How about today from 5 pm to 6 pm. I have some chores to do after shopping but from 5 pm to 6 pm is when I plan to cook my dinner. I can help teach you how to cook Shabu-Shabu.” Was it a little change in his schedule? Yes but he convinced himself that it was a necessary change. He was still cooking for dinner and he was keeping a promise with a friend. “As long as you are free. If not, we can schedule a different day and time.”

"It's more a personal thing, I guess. The last thing I wanna do is become reliant on others that much. I'm still just as capable of doing what I need to to get by, and I'd rather not let that end up faltering in a way I could've prevented." She was sure he understood, or at least, she hoped. That was a way she truthfully felt about everything, after all. She felt she relied on people too much as is. . .

There should be no reason to let it get any worse than it is.

"But. . . I'll keep that in mind, thank you." It reminded her that he still seemed to care about her, even if it had been some time since they had met. Maika still didn't quite understand why, but it was definitely something she would have to remember for future reference.

But then came the reminder that he did, indeed, promise to help her learn to cook. . . Oh no. . . Blinking, she looked over at the other, self aware of just how poorly that could end up going, Espeically with a hot pot full of liquid. "Oh yeah. . . You did promise that, didn't you?"

Mercy be on wherever that they decide to do that--

"That'd be pretty nice, yeah! When would you wanna do that, then?" She still needed to get what she bought back to the apartment, at the very least, but she didn't think there was anything too important going on for the rest of her day.

And no, he's not going to elaborate. The tone of his answer hopefully sets the impression that Goro didn't want to be part of this whole thing called 'smiling'. Did Akira not know how many fake smiles he did for the public already or did this fool, has to laugh at the irony for this one, actual forget something?
