Random crack(?) headcanon question for the Sparda family/muses: Who drinks the most energy drinks? What do they drink in particular? (More importantly, is it MONSTER?)

V, despite being still Vergil had one energy drink, thinking it would give him you know, POWER tm, but found it to be gross. Decided only food is good after that.

Dante had quite a few during his younger years while everyone was still in family mode. Eva didn't like that her son was chugging down energy drinks but Sparda himself didn't see any harm in it. Dante stopped drinking them after the tragedy happened.

Vergil himself hasn't had any. And no, his time as V doesn't count.

Nero wants to try an energy drink but lacks the funds to do so. Most of the money goes to help the orphanage or get new weapons. Energy drinks were also frowned upon by the faction of the Sparda sanctuary that he was a part of and Credo wasn't a fan of them, so they were banned.

None of the brands are MONSTER.

I firmly believe that V/Vergil would absolutely not cheat on you.

As lonely as that poor man has been, I just cannot see it happening. He'd love and cherish you and never abandon you, after you get through his defensive wall, of course. I just do not see him seeking out another's company if he already has you.

I don’t have specific headcanon for Dante. Alloaro Dante, aroace Dante, alloace Dante, every aspec Dante is a good Dante, though I find myself leaning alloaro most of the time.

As for Vergil, I consider my mans to be gray-aroace with a side of agender/gendervoid. He/him for him is like a shirt that’s comfy because it’s well worn not because it’s tailored, yaknow? While you were busy having a gender and experiencing romantic and sexual attraction, Vergil was studying the blade.

Nero is unlabeled to me. He’s queer in a vague way he himself can’t be arsed to define. Definitely feeling demiro/demisexual for him, if he used labels. His gender/sexuality is “Bro I Am Literally Just Sitting Here”

❥ i can’t see you and dante getting into arguments often. the only things that would lead to a fight is dante being concerned about getting you involved in his work (if you’re a devil hunter), or you worrying about how he’s too nonchalant when he eventually does get injured.

❥ even then though, he makes sure to not say things he doesn’t mean. but even after an argument, it’s like he replays it back in his head when he’s alone, thinking of every word and if it actually did offend you or not.

❥ in the case that it’s a lower to moderate argument— dante’s so fuckin goofy, he’s the type to still kiss your cheek to wake you up and make you terribly cooked breakfast to see if you’ll forgive him. up to you whether or not you do but he’d try to spoil you with whatever money he has. i’d suggest coaxing him to use that money to pay the bills instead 😭

❥ but if it was a big argument, i think it’d be pretty silent for a while. i can see dante apologizing first depending on how old he is (what game it’s set in). the younger he is, the more emotionally inept he’ll be.

❥ in the case that it’s older dante, he’ll give you an apology although he doesn’t expect you to forgive him, he just wants you to know he’s sorry.

❥ regardless of his age though, dante will leave you be until you come to him saying that you feel better. there’s no point in chasing after someone who needs space. if you cup a wild bird in your hands, the only thing it wants to do is escape.

❥ i see dante as pretty decent when talking it out though, he just wants nothing more than for the silent treatment to just simmer down so that when you’re both feeling calm and okay, you can talk it out reasonably. and the make-up sex is even more awesome.

❥ as stated before in my previous hcs for vergil, he is a silent lover!! no difference whether he’s calm or angry, he silently brews. i cant see vergil getting into arguments much either, but the only difference between him and dante is that vergil brushes the topics off unless it comes to you.

❥ for instance, you get hurt? he doesn’t play lmao

❥ he might be a little harsh but considering he spent a lot of his time in hell, his social cues are kinda off. he never yells at you, but it lowkey hurts when he’s like a mom who can’t show she’s mad in public as he’s whisper yelling about how you’re not supposed to be so careless.

❥ vergil never yells, always talking lowly in that precise tone of his. however, he’s just so calculated with his words, making it more difficult when you try your attempts at a rebuttal. his sharp tongue would probably get him into trouble if you piss him off enough / if he super worried, though. might say something he’ll regret later.

❥ if it’s a small argument, he either acts like nothing happened or he overanalyzes it and overcompensates with his ‘apology’— which is sitting you down on the couch as he makes you feel like you’re in an intervention while you guys talk it out 😭

❥ if it’s a bigger argument, he’ll probably give you the silent treatment. he won’t talk about it and he won’t talk to you for a while, preferring his space over anything while he calms down.

❥ his pride stands in the way of him actually apologizing to you, especially if he recognizes the argument was his fault after a while. so you might have to be the one to confront him first.

I hope this isn't a weird ask (you can ignore this if it is), but would it be okay to ask for some HCs about how the guys are with a hunter S/O? But instead of hunting the usual demons the boys are used to, they hunt things like the monsters in Bloodborne.

Bonus points if their S/O has a tamed beast that operates the same as V's familiars.

¤ Dante ¤

-Dante got so excited when he found out you were a devil hunter like him. Finally, someone that understands the pain of fighting supernatural, otherworldly creatures.

-Wants to go on jobs with you all the time, not caring what it is you're doing, or what you're hunting, he just wants to spend time with you.

-Trades weapons with you and teaches you how to use his guns while you teach him to use your weapons. It's cute, and handy if either of you lose your stuff mid battle.

-He expected to fight empusas and other weak, annoying demons. When he saw what you were going up against, he was visibly shocked for a moment. You hunt those? Seriously?

-Dante respects you for being able to deal with those monsters, but at the same time fears for your safety. Now he insists on going with you on every mission just to make sure you're safe.

-If you happen to have a familiar or pet, Dante will treat the thing like a housebroken pet whenever it's around, always feeding it treats and stuff.

■ Vergil ■

-Is very intrigued by the fact that you too are a devil hunter, since there aren't exactly that many people practicing the profession.

-Wants to mentor you and teach you the ways of the blade so you can be more prepared whenever you fought dangerous demons.

-The day you asked him to come along on a mission with you was the day his heart turned into a butterfly that flew down to his stomach and flapped around for hours on end--that is to say, he was very excited to see you in action.

-When he saw the creatures you'd be up against, however, his demon instincts clicked and he immediately portaled you out of there with the Yamato and started slicing up all the monsters before you could.

-After that he and you had a talk, and while he wanted to be by your side during missions 24/7, he respected your wishes to be independent and decided on a compromise: You could go alone, as long as you called him regularly and asked for backup or retreated whenever you needed it.

-Is largely indifferent to your pet/familiar, if you happen to have one.

○ Nero ○

-You are now his rival! Don't worry, it's in a friendly way.

-Nero competes with you to see who can kill more demons, or who can take down the creature first, or who can kill demons the fastest, etc. Etc.

-When he saw the kind of creatures you normally go up against, he immediately rushed in, declaring that he would kill them all before you could--and so the challenge began.

-It's fun, competing with him in battle, and what's more, this way, creatures rarely get the jump on you, and if they do, they're demolished immediately.

-Competes with your familiar/pet, too, since he sees it as an extension of you.

-All in all, you two (or three) are the most badass monster slaying team to have ever walked the earth.

● V ●

-Was honestly a little concerned when he learned of your occupation. After all, he would hate for anything to happen to his precious.

-When he accompanied you on one of your missions, he was shocked to say the least. These were the creatures you fought on a near daily basis? They were unlike any demon he'd seen before; they were far more grotesque and possibly too ugly for even he to write a poem about.

-Afterwards, he became even more worried about your safety than before and kept trying to have his familiars follow you when you left for missions.

-He insisted on going with you more often, but his weakness often prevented him from doing much, especially in battle, so he reluctantly stayed behind and wrote beautiful compositions about how he felt about you endangering yourself like that so often.

-If you have familiars/and or pets like him, he will be more than happy to play with them, take care of them, or maybe even take them for walks if they're needed.

-His familiars will definitely be interacting with your familiars; hopefully one of them can talk because Griffon is a chatterbox.
