-As say, we are interrogating the Junko clones as we speak.
Tumblr media
And what did you pick up?
Tumblr media
Well it seems they were followers of Junko and pretended to be her, even going to the Ultimate Imposter to impersonate her perfectly during her final moments and it seems that now, they'll agree to turn themselves in peacefully.
Tumblr media
Hmph, if she were the real thing I would of beaten the shit out of her...
Tumblr media
...Sir, I would recommend you keep your anger under control, we are working on it and I think you can let me handle this, alright? Anyway-.
...
...
...
Tumblr media
*Monaca watch the meeting as it continue but then stops* Hope won again and despair loss, I thought there be fighting or an execution.
Tumblr media
Monaca wanted to see hope and despair class but even then it turn out peacefully somehow... why are things getting so boring, Big sis Junko say this was the excitement and unpredictability.
Tumblr media
Well... Monaca will keep waiting until despair happens, puhuhuhuuu!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
Well honestly I think the tragedy being done is a good thing you edgelord.
???: Sunako? It's lunch...
Tumblr media
Hm? Oh... hello miss Nijiue, I suppose your here to drop lunch?
Tumblr media
Well I was calling you to come down but I see your busy, want me to bring lunch for you?
Tumblr media
Actually, I'm nearly done - just finish up some files...
Tumblr media
Honesly reading these files the Warriors of Hope wrote, especially their commandments is giving me a headache trying to understand half of them and their 'punishments' supposedly.

I have such a weird problem with finishing things, at this point there are 8 games in my currently playing list where I've just stopped playing with like 1 or 2 levels to go and a couple different shows/podcasts with a couple episodes left that I just kinda forgot about honestly

So, the last generation hashira. I'm curious about the order they became a hashira. A lot of people have done this I think, but I'm still going yap about what I think. This might be wrong tho. (Just REALLY need to get this out to someone.)
I think it's safe to say that among the last generation hashira Gyomei is the first to become a hashira, right? He's a hashira at 19, thats 8 years before the end (last ep of hashira training arc). If it's 8 years then Tengen was 15 which means he likely was still in the Uzui family doing shinobi stuff because the head appoints you 3 wives at 15 (taisho era secret). He's still in the process of running away from home with his 3 lovely wives, I guess. If it's 8 years then Giyuu was 13, then he was at final selection with Sabito (ep 2 hashira training arc).
Tumblr media
From Sanemi's first pillar meeting, we can see Giyuu, Tengen, Gyomei, Kanae, and ofc the freshly minted hashira Sanemi. The order would be Gyomei, Tengen or Giyuu, then Sanemi. Because Kanae is still the hashira, meaning Shinobu wasn't a hashira yet.
Tumblr media
From Rengoku's gaiden pillar meeting, Kyojuro can see 5 hashiras when attending the pillar meeting after his father stopped attending the pillar meeting. Kanae was replaced by Shinobu and Kyojuro wasn't a hashira yet. The gaiden is the story of how Kyojuro became a hashira in spring (the smell of sakura flower...cries). So the order here would be Gyomei, Tengen or Giyuu, Sanemi, Shinobu, then Kyojuro.
After Kyojuro would be Obanai, Muichiro, or Mitsuri. I don't know the order though... I think Muichiro is after Kyojuro but idk. Because he became alone at 11 right? His demon attack was in summer. His birthday is in August, summer. Which means the demon attack was right after he turned 11 in August, summer or at summer before August, his 12th birthday. After that he was in recovery at Ubuyashiki's mansion. He started practicing swordmanship with his injuries not healed yet. After that he became hashira in 2 months. The time between the demon attack and he becoming a hashira should be rather short. I think he either (1) just turned 11, gets attacked, then became a hashira before 12 (...so young) (2) was 11 before August, gets attacked, turned 12 at August and then became a hashira after that (with Rengoku and Mitsuri timeline, most likely) (3) was attacked in June at 11, became a hashira before August, and turned 12 (no matter how fast Muichiro is, most unlikely). With the most likely possibility (2), Kyojuro became hashira at spring when he was 18 (his birthday in May) and Muichiro was 11 (that spring). Then summer that year Muichiro got attacked and turned 12 at August and after that became a hashira (in that same year?). Muichiro is fast rising in ranking so I think it's Kyojuro-Muichiro-Obanai but it could also be Kyojuro-Obanai-Muichiro. There isn't much to work on with Obanai so I don't know for sure.
But I think Mitsuri is the last in order. In the Rengoku gaiden timeline, Mitsuri was a Mizunoto, training with Kinoe Kyojuro under the cherry blossom blooming at the Rengoku house. She was 17 when her marriage proposal got cancelled. After 17, she found the demon slayer corp and joined. It took her 6 months to pass final selection and became Mizunoto. That how it should be, but if THAT year Kyojuro was 18 at May, Muichiro was 12 at August, then Mitsuri should be 17 at June 1st. Or did she turned 18 that June? Or was Kyojuro 19 when he became a hashira or did Kyojuro became a hashira AFTER spring or was Muichiro got attacked right after he turned 11 and then took almost a year in recovery or was the gaiden timeline messy/not official? I'm so confused...*brain melt* I think it's wrong...
Whichever it is I think Mitsuri is last because at the time Kyojuro became a hashira she was still a newbie Mizunoto. And she first met Obanai because she was lost at the Ubuyashiki(?) mansion then she ask him for direction. So I think Obanai became a Hashira before Mitsuri because he was more knowledgeable than Mitsuri about the mansion.
The final order from that confusing rambling is Gyomei, Tengen or Giyuu, Sanemi, Shinobu, Kyojuro, Muichiro or Obanai, and Mitsuri. This is just my opinion tho. Could be wrong. I wanna know more about the hashira so bad. It's confusing.

Fun fact: Boruto's ending 2 song 'Sayonara Moon town' was first released in episode 14, during Nue arc. The first version of this ending was about Sumire and whole Nue arc(after episode 15, the next version was about Sarada gaiden). If you read the lyrics, it is just so romantic, basically trying to spoil some Bsu future moment.
Yeah you know what makes it even more amazing is that the ending was done for that episode only, while the ending song remains the same that ep got its own unique ending.
Literally normally endings would be used for the entire arc or swap at the halfway points, but the true second ending focused on Sumire put in the work to make it only to be used in one episode.
The lyrics are romantic like you said as well, the Sarada focused ending doesn't make sense nor match the lyrics when the ending accompanying the song is more focused on SasuSaku family as whole so a romantic song doesn't match. While the Sumire ending shows her struggle and references Boruto saving her while matching the lyrics of the song as well.
A path is faintly illuminated by the moon… I wonder where we'll go from here. The moon faintly wavers on a nearby lake… C'mon and show us our unknown futures!
First verse basically references Boruto saving Sumire and leading to a new future, but also it was a full moon on the night the Nue incident took place. Moon can also be a referenced to the Jougan as well which reacted to Sumire and Nue.
We're afraid of having more things that are important to us. We've lived shutting ourselves off, but it seems we'll end up meeting anyway. So if fate tries to pull us apart, I want to protect you, even if it destroys this world!
The second verse expresses how Sumire is afraid of getting closer and shut herself off yet in the end couldn't help growing attach to everyone especially Boruto. While the second line references Boruto wanting to protect and save her even though she was fated to be an enemy and tried to destroy the village.
Even while knowing this dream is fleeting, I still want to live my life with someone else. Even if I learn the pain of loss, I'll always be longing for someone else.
Goodbye... goodbye... We'll overcome this goodbye! Ah...
While the last two once again are about Sumire how she doesn't want to be alone and how she will overcome it. It also references how she was apart of the class and friends with everyone despite knowing it will one day end. It also hints at her longing for Boruto as well.
I could probably go more in depth with the analyse for even more references and hints, but just how easily you can gleam references to BoruSumi in the lyrics from a quick look shows the song was meant for them.

Mirai is seeing team team 15 trying to find cats, making Mirai 16 Mirai is 4 years older than Boruto and Boruto graduated the academy at 12 meaning Mirai is 16 at the time.
At the start of this Manga it starts of as Mirai as a Genin chasing Cat at this time Kakashi is still hokage, this would have to take place before Boruto was 7 and after he was 5 meaning 5-7 but age of graduating Academy is 11 or 12 unless Mirai somehow graduated early so possibly at 9 turning 10 that year.
While Novel is different doesn’t show Mirai as a kid Genin and it takes place when Boruto is in academy it takes place after chapter 700 but because manga shows them as genin then it takes place after they graduate academy and not while there in academy, so the Novel version takes place after Chapter 700 and Before Naruto Gaiden The Seventh Hokage and Scarlet Spring.

do you have a recommendation how to get into logh? Bc I heard about the anime series but I never heard about the books and I was wondering if you'd recommend checking those out first before watching the show version?
id say watch the ova first (NOT THE BBL NEW ANIME NO LAWD PLZ). i think s1 is most divergent from the books and the rest of the ova szns match p well s1 isnt rly that divergent where it diverges is that it just draws from the first 2 books as well as adding subplots from the gaiden LNs that wasnt translated in english (afaik) / invents some of their own that even as campy as they seem cuz its 80s this do supplement characterization imo if i just read the first 2 books w/o the ova itd be hard for me to rly give af abt kircheis & yet the memory of him is so impt . also half of the books was translated by toasters. this was my watch order.. iwatched s1 died at the finale then watched the kinnaka gaiden ovas -> s2 s3 died at ep that shall not be named -> spiral labrynith -> s4 -> gaidens once more cuz i died. then looped the main ova. start w/ the main ova then gaidens i overthought this answer

-d gray man, for self indulgent reasons. classic early 2000s shounen but better. really great characters, hard hitting plot, one of the first mangas i ever ugly cried to. manga is releasing quarterly. original anime was 103 episodes. more recently released Hallow anime is 13 eps

blade 1-10 notes
yippee! getting over the first 10 ep hurdle didn't take me 2 and a half months this time!!!! woooooohooooooo!!!!
i'm gonna be real these first couple of episodes have quite a bit of heavy-handed "character explains in far too much detail how they are related to someone else / what they're doing / etc etc etc to someone who should already know so the audience can also know"
it was also funny how nearly every recognizable still/gif i know from blade happened in these first ten episodes. tachibana is a strange man.
also it was a very tumultuous thought process to realize that karasuma is played by the va for date in yakuza and the peacock undead is the same actor as shishido in gaiden. woaughhhhh. (tbh i'm actually really surprised i recognized both of them on my own haha)
i'm chewing on hajime. (this has to be the least unique sentiment anyone's ever had about blade ever. are there people who don't like hajime? i don't even want to know the answer to that.) him and amane are the cutest.... u_u
before watching blade i didn't click with the suit but literally the second i started watching it turned into this for me ( •̀ w•́ )✧ .... cute.
and of course. what is there to even say about chalice that hasn't been said about chalice. [ REDACTED ]
fellas is it gay for your combat aptitude to rise simply because of your feelings about another man.
not sure how i'm landing on the undead designs just yet. most of them are great and then we have. zebra at the leather club. so. it's really a toss up.
also so far the card gimmick is a bit harder to grasp this time around compared to ryuki. but i think i'll get the hang of it eventually.
but yeah! still only the first ten episodes, so not a whole bunch to Really chew on. i'm particularly looking forward to seeing how far the psychological impact of the rider system gets delved into as i keep watching!

My predictions on BSD getting animated going forward
I’ll be taking a look at the novel page counts (Japanese and English) and comparing them to the screen time they’ve gotten so far and then using this to predict how long the remaining light novel adaptations will be (approximately). At the end will also be my rough prediction/hopes for the order of some of these being adapted. I say some because I have yet to read what there is so far of the gaiden novel translations, the main story manga has essentially still been on the DOA arc almost since where the anime left off, and I personally think that it’s currently too soon for Storm Bringer (aside from money purposes).
Note, most of this was written well before the anime 5th anniversary livestream but the announcements wound up not affecting it. I then of course made adjustments as needed account for the novel content we do have so far, both in Japanese and in English (officially).
Page to Episode Count
Not counting the afterward, ads, etc for the English/US copy, Japanese is including it
Also all eng page counts are using the Yen Press release and jp page counts are taken from the fandom wiki

*148 is purely counting the Untold Origins portion of the novel. If we also count the A Day at the Agency short story that’s included before it (56 pages), then we get the full 203
Also the English page count for BEAST was noted before the English release date but after page counts have been posted by affiliated retailers, so subtract a couple pages from the written count of 176 for the time being to account for the afterward and possible character sheets being included
Now that we have our page to episode counts (as of April 5th, 2021), let’s find the actual content run time of what we do have animated so far.
Seasons 1-3 and the OVA all have the same episode length/duration. Each episode is 23 minutes, and we can subtract 3 minutes on average from that to account for the OP and ED being played. This leaves us with an average of 20 minutes of BSD story content per episode. So on average, each of the first 3 seasons contain 240 minutes, or 4 hours, worth of story content.
Dead Apple’s total run time is 91 minutes, with the OP and ED making up 9 of those minutes. However, we do have a bit of the story content being played while the ED is playing (as sometimes happens in the anime as well). To keep the math simple, I’ll be approximating story content time at 82 minutes.
Apply these numbers to the novels that have been animated so far and this is (approximately) what we get:
Tumblr media
Now let’s use these numbers to predict the screen time needed for the other novels
Note that we can’t really use Entrance Exam as a fair measure because of how much got cut out (just compare the run time of it to Dark Era and it speaks for itself). However, the numbers for Dark Era and Dead Apple are the best ones to use, as they both have minimal changes between anime and novel and both have official English translations currently available. Take out the approximate time taken up by OP/ED and and the numbers pretty much match up.
So with that being said, we can estimate Untold Origins (only) at approximately 3 eps/60 min and 55 Minutes at 1h 40-55min/100-115 min or 5-6 eps if it doesn’t get a movie. We can also estimate the A Day at the Detective Agency short story at the beginning of Untold Origins to take up about 1 ep, probably even a bit less.
1+ 3 + 5-6 = 9-10 episodes which isn’t enough for a full single cour season unless they all get put into one big OVA season, but also 10-11 eps (or less) seasons are a thing (ie. Fugou Keiji: Balance Unlimited, Blood Lad, Black Butler: Book of Circus, The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of a Holy War, FLCL)
My personal predictions/hopes for the anime adaptation timeline going forward
This is considering the manga content, current “pausing/stopping points” what wouldn’t be too awkward, each of the novels relevancy/necessity to the main story manga, and assuming we continue with single cour (12-13 ep) seasons
Hopefully/ideally a 55 Minutes movie
S4: ch 54-70
Early S5 (preferably) or end of S4: Untold Origins or A Day at the Agency
S5: ch 71-88/around where we are now?
A Day at the Agency can, in my opinion at least, be chucked in at any point either as a single episode OVA or as the light novel content for s4 (maybe not even taking a full episode and then starting ch 54 in the last few minutes for example). Keep in mind that the current DOA arc is a long one and has plenty to it, so personally I think it may even be better to not include a novel adaptation in a future S4, as it would likely already be a right squeeze content wise. Remember, we also have a few XX.5 chapters that are continuations of the chapter directly before them.
I still need to read what’s currently available of the gaiden novel fan translations but it can probably be adapted at any point as well. I’m estimating approximately 5-6 eps as an OVA series. I don’t really think it would get a movie, partially because you can make it only so long, especially since it’s an anime movie and unlike Storm Bringer, it doesn’t have Chuuya to practically guarantee the profit.
BEAST also doesn’t directly impact the main story and can be adapted at virtually any point. However, seeing as we do have a live action confirmed for it and it’s page count lines up very closely with Dark Era, it can be either 4 eps or (more likely in my opinion) a movie, as it can be considered almost stand alone content.
Personally, I believe it is currently way too soon to animate Storm Bringer as it came out only a little over a month ago (as of writing this) and has minimal plot necessity as of ch 91, but I do believe it should be either split into 2 movies (a part 1 and part 2) or it would need 8 episodes, likely as an OVA season. If it were to get animated sooner than 55 Minutes or Untold Origins, which I believe to be very unlikely, I feel that it would almost certainly be driven by the financial gains of Chuuya being included, and his popularity alone. Reminder, SB is about Chuuya and not SKK. Dazai’s appearance in SB is proportionally a very small percentage and he’s not even mentioned in the official plot summary.
However, you can argue that SB is starting to have some relevance now, with the recent mention of the Order of the Clock Tower in ch 90 and the increased relevance of sealed ability weapons in ch 91. However, I really do believe that you can’t adapt Storm Bringer before 55 Minutes because of Standard Island and its treaty, it also talks about sealed ability weapons, knowing who Wells is, and 55 Minutes canonically takes place during the “downtime” portion of S3. In fact, here’s Asagiri’s words directly from the Afterward (translation by Yen Press):
“this volume didn’t take place in the past, but rather sometime after the tenth volume of the manga. In other words, it’s a tale about the ‘usual’ detective agency in novel format.” (55 minutes, p 237)
Untold Origins also should be adapted sooner rather than later (at least compared to SB in my opinion) because it’s about Ranpo and Fukuzawa’s shared past, which becomes increasingly relevant ch 70 onwards, as well as the need for the ADA being founded (which ties in with Yosano’s backstory in ch 65-66).
In regards to whether I think each of these would be better suited to a movie adaptation or as multiple regular length anime episodes, it’s mainly due to page count and partly due to the budget difference between the two, as well as how difficult I think it would be to animate each of these based on what needs to be drawn. The anime industry isn’t the fastest to switch to newer technology, hence why we see issues with 3D blending sometimes. I really do think that at the very least, 55 Minutes deserves the movie budget because of how detailed and complex the architecture of Standard Island is described as, as well all the mechanical parts needed for the final battle of the novel. Hate the lizard mouths introduced in Dead Apple all you want, but you can’t deny that the 3D cgi was blended very smoothly. For any of the other novels to be movies, it’s more so because gaiden and BEAST can be considered their own stand alone stories that don’t rely too heavily on the main story in terms of when they take place and get adapted. I feel that SB is more likely to get its own season or an OVA season more so due to its length, but multiple part anime movies have also been done before (ie. the Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel movies), so it’s not entirely impossible. Especially considering that merely having any Chuuya screen time means that you can expect the profit and popularity to really go up, especially with SKK being on screen together (regardless of whether you love or hate how the fandom tends to push a shipping POV on them).
These are all of course just my hopes and predictions and estimates based on information currently available, so take them with some salt. I’d love to hear opinions on how, when, and why each of the currently non animated novels should be adapted going forward. Also please stop begging the relevant BSD official Twitter pages for SB to be animated next and go read the other light novels you Chuuya simp

Wh-What was that?! That sounded like Kazuichi!
Tumblr media
Ye-Yeah it is, I wonder what happen...?

*Then Kaori, Makoto and Gundham follow after the group and came across a sight in the make-up room...*
Tumblr media
Wh-What the-?!
*There, standing was Akane with hap-hazard make-up on and Kazuichi freaking out...*
Tumblr media
Hey, how do I look?
Tumblr media
Dude, are you trying to look like a monster?! Seriously, how can you mess up this bad?
Tumblr media
Wow, I only went to the bathroom for a few minutes and come back to this mess. How do you mess up eye contacts, that isn't how it works?
Tumblr media
Hu-Huh?! But I thought this was how make-up is put on, I remember my mom puts on quite a lot to cover up wrinkles and the little ones put it on like that.

A quick list of animes I watched and don’t want to forget:
Mushishi - pure, haunting beauty, 10/10 recommend especially when you want some clarity and calmness in your life. You’ll cry tho
K - the amount of tears I shed TwT I literally miss the characters. Weird af world and story, but somehow I got attached. There should be K: seven stories somewhere but I can’t find it... Also: this whole we’re a bunch of problematic people who become a family is a trope I’ll never get tired of
Tokyo Ghoul - S1 and S2 feel like one huge story and it’s just the beginning so buckle up... There are 2 OVAs (Jack and Pinto) that help with understanding Re: (S3) and then there is S4 which is apparently only the most important parts of the manga... I understand why so many people think that s4 is ridiculous, but the first 3 seasons are great. The manga is a must for the anime tho, bc the last season is a joke, so if you can, read the manga first. With that said, the censorship is terrible so if you can, watch it without the weird black and white patches that take up half the screen, because the animation, the fights, the colours are all extremely vibrant and alive, just like the characters. What being human means, why the police feel like they are doing god’s work when they kill innocents along with the psychos, what a family is, can we be selfish for others, and many more questions are discussed here, all while somebody gets gutted. S2 was much more like a filler than a normal season, but still, I cried, and the whole anime is awesome so watch it if you can. (If you get upset when humans are able to endure more than supernatural beings then it’s not your show, bc even though humans are supposed to be, you know, humans, they are still able to kill tens of ghouls with a fucking hole inside of them.)
Attack on Titan - got tired of waiting after s2... No mystery is worth more than a year of waiting lol
Black butler - I need to get around and watch the book of atlantis. Great story, Sebastian is everything and more, and the aesthetic is something I’ll never forget. The music fits perfectly, and the foods make me drool. It has the “big picture”, as well as small journeys where you can get to know your favourite characters which I appreciate. S2 was not something I enjoyed, but the book of circus was worth it as well as most ova’s.
Darker than black - THEY MUST CONTINUE IT BRING HEI BACK PLEASE PLEASE I CAN’T I JUST CAN’T - also s2′s opening makes me cry. Dolls and Contractors work together as a team, then alone, then again as a team... it was a wild ride. Awesome character development, great plot and world building. Sadly they cut their story and future at s2 for some reason... If I ever watch it again I watch Gaiden before Gemini tho - a lot less confusion and disappointment this way.
Bungou Stray Dogs - loving it with my whole heart can’t wait to watch it again because there is literally NO character I don’t love. It has pretty boys, crime, mystery, magical abilities and comedy alongside the surprisingly deep issues. The art style is otherworldly, everything is so PRETTY and CAPTURING ugh *-*. It also made me read lots of books again (especially Japanese literature which was new for me) ^^ (Who doesn’t ship Dazai and Chuuya... And Poe is a baby too)
Noragami - cute, very cute, I love it when the main character is powerful af yet has a silly, loving side. Also: you can learn a bit about gods and religion
Assassination Classroom - tears. all of them. tears. It’s not what I expected but still, the little assassins and the teacher’s relationship was perfect.
Another - i watched it for the dolls and the umbrella meme. Liked it? yes. Do I remember anything else tho? Not really
Parasyte - one of the first animes I’ve ever watched. Loved it. ^^ Migi was great, all the issues it brings up were thought provoking, and it has gore.
Hellsing - idk it had too many monologues and ideologies, didn’t finish it
Psycho-Pass - In short: cyberpunk future, systematic oppression, immigrants, killing with permission and other moral or societal issues, plus charismatic characters and gore. The watching order: S1, S2, Sinners of the system, S3, First inspector. Wonderful buildup, dynamic storytelling, great mystery elements, and of course the found family/teamwork will always be a favourite of mine. The writing is extra detailed, every character is 3D, their responses, beliefs and cultures are tied together perfectly, the chemistry between characters is relatable and although everybody seems to live by one goal only, it’s not as dull as one would think. It also has some great book recommendations, literature and philosophers play a big role, which is always a bonus. 10/10. I really hope we will get extra contents and S4 in the future.
Steins Gate - I can’t bring myself to watch the last 2 episodes of S1 lol. It starts slowly but it’s much better paced than I remembered. The anime heavily relies on the characters which are sadly very 2D: the haughty but loving, the cute but tragic, the clever weeb, the loving tsundere... and for some fucking reason every single girl loves the mad scientist who... doesn’t really show love or sometimes not even respect towards the others until the last half of the show, so I don’t particularly care about their fate, but I watch it bc I don’t want to leave it unfinished. Because people are so into it I thought maybe the story will be... flabbergasting, shocking or just a masterwork, but the whole time travelling thingy, all the rules, all the paralel worlds work very conveniently. There were some great twists that I loved, some that I saw coming and some that I didn’t, but the story itself isn’t the best and even the plottwists won’t help that.
Full metal alchemist - i watched many, many episodes. I liked it. But it lost me. Anyways, I looked up the story and it sounds interesting, lots of plot twists, great conspiracy theories etc. The main character was a bit... annoying. My main problem is that they were children cuz I can only get immersed in the adult characters’ stories...
Durarara!! - s1 was great I love gang and mystery stuff, BUT I stopped watching it bc I was only immersed in the adult characters’ stories...
The Ancient Magus' Bride - it’s a gory fairy tale, with two toxic but loveable characters who learn a lot, evolve a lot and become real companions. There is lots of touching, head pats and affection. <3 Seasond 2 is very much needed, I want to see more episodic journey elements like the cat kingdom episodes were, and perhaps cry just a little less. Pro tip: when you watched the first 12 eps you should watch the 3 episode ova and then the next 12 eps ;) Oh, and expect tears mostly from happiness
Devilman Crybaby - I was the crybaby. The ending is beautiful, the art style was great, it literally pulsed through my eyes sometimes. Awesome characters, weird storyline, sad ending.
Death Parade - another anime that made me cry :) Beautiful art style, immersive story, interesting take on the afterlife, moral issues. It had everything I needed,
Juni Taisen - It wasn’t the craziest or most cunning anime of all times, but I cared about the characters and I really wanted to know how it ends, so it was good i guess
Kekkai Sensen - i watched s1 and I didn’t care anymore...
BEASTARS - it was one hell of a ride. Interesting world, great conflict, highschoolers and gore... also I think there was a sudden rise in the numbers of furries while it aired. It’s art style however was too cgi-y, too smooth for me :/
Re: Zero - the main character is a little bitch i hated him but i stayed for the plot. I don’t really like love interests when one party is only loved because they look perfect... i really wish we got more seasons and explanations  s2 is on the horizon, but I doubt I’ll ever watch it
Updated it see in reblog
Also in conclusion, what do i need in an anime? 1) adults 2) superpowers 3) found family 4) a brooding, powerful af main character 5) action and mystery (plus gore) 6) chemistry between characters 7) side characters that matter 8) tissues
Any recs?

Naruto Shippuden, ep 385-386
This flashback is an example of why I want to finish watching the show myself, because the details really imply some weird stuff about the timeline, which fanfic usually doesn’t follow.
Also a fine example why this timeline makes no damn sense. Literally none.
Kakashi started Academy at the same time as Obito, Rin, Gia, Asuma, Kurenai, Ebisu, Anko, Hayate, Genma and Aoba... Which is WILD since they all have different ages. Gai is the same age as Kakashi, but Asuma and Kurenai are a year older, and Genma is 3 years older. Meanwhile, Anko is 2 years younger, and Hayate is 3 years younger. Kakashi graduated at 5! To have started the same age as him, they would have started at 3 years old and 2 years old respectively.
Mind you, this is all a much lower issue than Kakashi apparently making chuunin only AFTER Rin and Obito made genin. (Databooks already listed him as chuunin at 6 and them genin at 9.) This is in the manga too, so... Nice.
Anyway, going back to the anime. Rin, Obito and Kakashi already knew each other to at least some extent the day of Academy enrollment. Obito gets mad at Kakashi by name, and Kakashi scolds Rin for indulging Obito too much, saying he’ll never learn to be on time.
Rin already had a crush on Kakashi at age 5. There were fangirls at age 5.
(Let me just say, the framing of Obito’s genin graduation is extremely weird. It’s all “he pushed himself in training to catch up to Kakashi” but Rin graduated at the same age?? Did they not train together. How did that dynamic even work.)
Despite what that one movie said and what fandom likes to assume, Minato doesn’t seem to have had any connection to Kakashi before being assigned a full team of kids. They pass each other in the hall outside Sarutobi’s office, and Minato asks the Sandaime “wasn’t that Hatake Kakashi just now?” Sandaime confirms he’s Sakumo’s orphaned son, which wouldn’t make any sense if Minato was already Kakashi’s sensei or mentor in some way.
(Not that I blame anyone for choosing to throw out this whole episode as non-canon!)
Kakashi was taking missions with adults before being assigned to Team Minato and “clashed with superiors and teammates.” The teammates are no surprise, but he even got into it with superiors?
At this point, they had lost many jounin and chuunin due to “the long war.” So the 3rd war was already going on and had been on for at least a few years...?
Sarutobi, this fucker: *smiles while graduating a 5 year old to genin* *a few years later* “I can only make so many allowances. I must send the young ones to war”
Kakashi becomes chunin “on his first try” at the exam, so it doesn’t seem like he was demoted and had to promote again or anything.
After Kakashi... becomes chunin... Rin says she thinks Obito will pass “next year.” So I guess the exams weren’t biannual back then? Also, this means they were 10 during this time.
It does snow in Konoha, as we see at least twice in this flashback.
Obito does pass, but they find out about this when he comes out of the building alone. Why is he alone? Rin also made chunin at 11, so this would have been the same exam??
Right after Obito makes chunin, Rin asks him to help prepare Kakashi’s... jounin present. Kakashi makes jounin around the time of his gaiden, when they are all 13.
This is also kind of... a weird move on Rin’s part? I can see how she might not realize Obito has a crush on her, okay, but given her position as the peacemaker on their team and her supposed closeness with Obito, her asking him to help with Kakashi’s promotion present right after his own promotion is... insensitive at best?
The entire idea that Kakashi’s Academy classmates all feel this sense of kinship with him when he graduates out after less than a year is... really wild to me? Maybe it’s an Asian thing??
Also, Rin’s character still makes no sense to me.

Am I the only one who didn't mind what Sarada said?
From the get go, the Uchiha family was always in a more dramatic situation that everyone else. Gaiden was a soap opera. Sarada's emotional journey was always more meaningful than Boruto's. We perceive this externally as audiences, but I think it also affects the character internally. Emotionally traumatized by her father's absence, Sarada became more mature than her peers. When it comes to opinions and emotions, she knows when to keep it to herself, and knows when she should be frank. She's very frank around Sakura, and eventually Sasuke also. Telling Saku she wants a dad as a gift when Saku comes back from holiday. Telling Sasu to try and take care of his family instead of others. Also, the entire Peanut scenario. Sarada doesn't mince words when it comes to her feelings. Which is why I didn't mind when she said she had wished Naruto was her dad. Unlike Sasuke, she saw Naruto around almost everyday. She knows what he's like and he dotes on her. Growing up without a dad, she doesn't know how it feels to have one. But Naruto's mere presence makes up for that. All she wanted was for someone to be there. It's normal for a girl of her age and situation to have daddy issues. I would know, I grew up with a dad who worked abroad most of my life. I've said the same things to my dad that Sarada has said to Sasuke. Regardless of whether she's referring to before or after Gaiden, I think Sarada's feelings are justified.
But that's not because I think Sasuke is a deadbeat dad. I love Sasuke. And as much as I don't always like this situation the SSS family is in, to me, it serves the story. The Uchihas has always been the emotional core of the series. I've probably long accepted that I'll only find true fluff and happiness in novels and fanfics, so that helps a lot. Sasuke does what he needs to do, and I know Sarada understands that. I don't think she's forgotten how excited she was a few chapters ago that her dad is coming home. Then now she's saying she wished Naruto was her dad. That's pretty much normal for someone with emotional trauma. She loves her dad and she's always excited to have him around. But it doesn't mean she's forgotten all of her feelings of abandonment. That stays with you. It keeps you grounded. But it also makes you more appreciative and greedy of what you have. She cherishes the little moments with Sasuke, which is why she's a bit put off that he was not settling in at home in eps 127 and 128.
It's perfectly fine for Sarada to feel that way. And it's perfectly fine for readers and SSS fans to be mad about it. Because if you guys already don't know, being a fan of any Uchiha means enduring a roller coaster ride for the entire series. So buckle up. We get ups as much as we get downs.
TLDR; Sarada loves her dad, but hates that he can't be home more often. She bitches about it, but that's normal.
Anyway, I'm not sure if Ike-Dachi tandem is building up to something for SSS, but as always I'd like to give creators the benefit of the doubt. The scene with Saku and Ino a few chaps ago was foreshadowing for Sasuke coming home half dead. Maybe Sarada's little quip will have an emotional turn once Sasuke's in the picture again. It's looking like we'll have some fight heavy chapters with Boro vs Team 7 + Kawaki, so we probably won't see SasuSaku for another 3-4 months. Unless Sakura channels Creation Rebirth on Sasuke that'll heal him in a jiffy. Also, Jigen has 2 days to recuperate, but that's probably 4 months wait for us.
As for the creators, I no longer want to blame them for whatever they write. I've been in enough fandoms to know they aren't perfect. They're human. They write the story now, and it's up to them what to do with the characters. If I like it, good. If it sucks, I just go check out my other fandoms. God knows petitions and death threats don't change anybody's minds.
