open: f/m/nb 21+ (age gaps welcome just nothing t.aboo) made with beta.
plot: gabi and your muse have been drinking and the lines are getting blurry with their friendship, so in true rebellious fashion, she suggests they skinny dip.
muse: gabriella ortega, she/her , bisexual, 28-31, law student, melissa barrera fc.
Tumblr media
“look, it’s just naked bodies. we’ve been drinking, and the lake is right there. i’ll close my eyes if that’s what you prefer.” she stated with an all-too-innocent giggle. the woman boldly took her top off and smirked in their direction, gauging their reaction before proceeding. if it truly made them uncomfortable, she’d stop, but the idea was all too tempting.

An Open Letter to the Showrunners
To the Showrunners of Wednesday: We've been inspired by the show and the incredible performances by Hunter Doohan, Jenna Ortega, and the rest of the cast members.  Tyler Galpin’s character is unlike any other we have seen in years!  Hunter Doohan’s excellent performance demonstrates that he put his heart and soul and embodied such a complex and interesting character.  The way he can make us feel a roller-coaster of emotions within a few seconds speaks volumes about Hunter’s amazing acting skills.  The way Hunter Doohan has brought Tyler Galpin to life is unparalleled. We have created online communities to discuss character development and theories.  Our online communities are solid, united, and growing faster and stronger every day.  Many of us understand and relate to Tyler’s character, and this has allowed many fans to connect with others and create beautiful friendships.  We communicate with each other daily, and this makes our day start on a happy note.  This is the gift that Hunter Doohan has given to us with his portrayal of Tyler Galpin.  Respectfully, VDC and Gaby A.
This is our PETITION for Tyler Galpin/Hunter Doohan. Please, if you recognise yourself in our words, sign it and help us to make our support visible. Ask for the link for the petition and it will be given to you.

Open to M/F/NB - Plot: Y/m is from a rival pack, when y/m and Gaby meet sparks fly and they know that the connection they feel is more of a destiened one.
Gaby Ortega was not ever concerned about who her mate would be. No, she knew her place in this world was to take over her father's pack some day and that was a role she was groomed for. "They need us more then we need them father." Gaby wasn't unaware of their situation but they had enough resources that she really wasn't worried. The pack would be alright. Still they were meeting with a rival clan not much later in the afternoon.
The bonfire was lit, and both packs were putting their differences aside as they hosted the other. Gaby felt his eyes on her all night. "Lesser men have tried and failed, what makes you think you have a chance?" She questioned quietly knowing her father would chastise her if he heard the woman speaking a cooly as she felt at the moment. "A picture last's longer." She quipped with a smirk.

📚🎧EXPANDING THE CONTENT YOU CONSUME📚🎧
Apologies in advance as this is really poorly worded, but I wanted to put this out there because I think about it a lot.
Something my librarian talks about a lot is expanding the range of content you read/watch/listen to, not necessarily in terms of genre but in terms of creators. I think the reason people resist consuming media by people of colour/plus sized people/lgbtq+ people/anyone who strays from the 'norm' of what they know is because of discrimination and also because they worry the content be focused on the discrimination which they don't understand and cannot relate to. And while I beleive you should absolutely challenge yourself to read that kind of thing, but you should also read books by those people which don't cover heavy topics as the main focus.
Here some recommendations. This is based on the kind of stuff I normally read/listen to, please feel free to reblog this with your recommendations if you read other genres.
Romance Books
The Neighbour Favour by Kristina Forest
Seven Days In June by Tia Williams
Who Asked You by Terry McMillan
Set On You by Amy Lea (literally any book by her i love her)
The Fastest Way To Fall by Denise Williams
The Heartstopper Series by Alice Oseman
Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston (again anything by them I love them)
The What If Its Us series by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera
Something to Talk About by Maryl Wilsned
Podcasts (so a lot of these do cover topics like racism and homophobia etc but honestly they're really interesting please give them a listen)
Wholehearted Coaching by Shirin Eskandani
The Hey Girl Podcast by Alex Elle
The Homecoming Podcast by Dr Thema Bryant
Making Gay History by Eric Marcus? not entirely sure who its by but 100% listen to it
Bad With Money (literally amazing and so interesting, really forces you to think about stuff deeply, and its kinda funny) Gaby Dunn
Queery by Cameron Esposito
Mystery Books
The Luis Ortega Survival Club by Sonora Reyes
Liar, Dreamer, Thief by Maria Dong
Age of Vice by Deepti Kapoor
The Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff
The Raven Thief by Gigi Pandian

Books I read in 2022
Tumblr media
All the books I read in 2022, excluding things I read for work (about 5 books and 10 years worth of newspapers), magazines and art books (5-ish) rereads (annual rereads of The Last Unicorn and the Sailor Moon manga, 13 altogether), books I borrowed (1) books I dropped (2), and what I started in December but haven’t finished yet.
My goal this year is to read 12 fiction books, 12 comic books, and 12 nonfiction books (mostly related to research for the novel I’m working on). I’m also hoping to buy at least 12 queer books (preferably by POC) from my local bookstore, talk about them and review them fairly online so publishers can see that they are a good investment, and donate them to my local library once I’m done.
Favorite book was probably Zachary Ying and the Dragon Emperor by Xiran Jay Zhao. Least favorite was Witchlings by Claribel A. Orgeta, which made me so mad I had to pace around the house. If you are so inclined I put a link to each book down below the cut.
Rosewood Chronicles: Undercover Princess and Princess in Practice by Connie Glynn (Goodreads, Storygraph): Kind-hearted, fairytale-obsessed Lottie Pumpkin is mistaken to be the Crown Princess of Maradova. Her roommate, the actual Crown Princess of Maradova, is having the time of her life. I wanted to read the whole series this year, but despite being written in English the books aren’t published in America yet???
Zachary Ying and the Dragon Emperor by Xiran Jay Zhao (Goodreads, Storygraph): Described as Percy Jackson meets Yugioh, Zack must go on a quest through China to seal the portal to the Chinese underworld and save his mom, aided by the ghost of the first Emperor of China who haunts his VR headset.
Cafe con Lychee by Emery Lee (Goodreads, Storygraph): Asian-American Theo and Puerto Rican Gabi must work together to save their families’ bakeries from gentrification. Enemies to friends to lovers plus coming of age and coming out.
A Little Bit County by Brian D Kennedy (Goodreads, Storygraph): Two gay teenagers work at not-Dollywood and deal with the ups and downs of showbusiness while uncovering a family secret.
In Deeper Waters by F.T. Lukens (Goodreads, Storygraph): A young prince must band together with a rascally merman in order to return home and save his kingdom from war, all while holding his magic at bay.
Home Field Advantage by Dahlia Adler (Goodreads, Storygraph): Jack must deal with competition both on and off the field as she becomes the school’s new quarterback and falls in love with the head cheerleader.
Small Town Pride by Phil Stamper (Goodreads, Storygraph): Middle-schooler Jake attempts to start his small town’s first Pride. Bureaucracy ensues.
Ghost Hunters Adventurer’s Club: The Secret of the Grand Chateau by “Dr. Cecil H. H. Mills” (Goodreads, Storygraph): The Game Grumps book.
Witchlings by Claribel A. Ortega (Goodreads, Storygraph): Seven, Valley, and Thorn must face off against a deadly Nightbeast in order to stay witches, but soon discover that there’s something more sinister going on in their own town (it’s magic caste systems, and what’s sinister is that they don’t do anything to buck the system)
Eva Evergreen, Semi-Magical Witch by Julia Abe (Goodreads, Storygraph): the Better Witchlings. Eva must earn her rank as Novice Witch before the mysterious Culling strikes, but what can she do when she only as a pinch of magic?
The Tea Dragon Society by K O’Neill (Goodreads, Storygraph): A look into the lives of blacksmith apprentice Greta, forgetful priestess Minette, tea shop owners and former adventurers Hesekiel and Erik, and the pet dragons they harvest tea leaves from. Not a lot of plot, but overflowing with atmosphere and good vibes.
Pokemon Adventures Collector’s Edition 1-3: Contains the Red, Yellow, and Gold arc (about 9 volumes and more than 100 chapters). If you ever wanted the Pokemon anime to go more into the plot, read these.

PREMIOS METROPOLITANOS DE TEATRO Alfombra Roja
Tumblr media
INVITADOS Aarón Balderi Alejandra Bogue Alejandro Calva  Alejandro de la Madrid  Alfonso Borbolla  Alma Cero  Arcelia Ramírez  Ari Albarran  Ariel Miramontes  Carolina Reyes  Christian Ramos  Conchi León  Dalilah Polanco  Daniel Miranda  Eugenio Rubio  Francisco Rubio  Gaby Ruiz (Chef)  Garçonne  German Ortega  Karol Sevilla  Laura Tamayo  Leticia Huijara  Leticia Pedrajo  Lisardo  Ludwika Paleta  Luis Arrieta  Mabel Cadena  Manu Nna  Margarita Gralia  Maria Aura  María Elisa Gallegos  Marte Calderon  Maya Zapata  Mel Fuentes  Michelle Rodriguez  Mónica Dionne  Mónica Huarte  Regina Blandon  Regina Voce  Roger González  Sofia Espinosa  Verónica Langer  Verónica Toussaint  Vicky Araico  Ximena Gonzalez Rubio
Aída del Río  Alejandra Ley  Alex de Hoyos  Álvaro Cueva  Ana Sofía Gatica  Anabel Ferreira  Andrés Elvira  Armando Espitía  Armando Hernández  Begoña Narvaez  César Romero  Chumel Torres  Diana Bovio  Efraín González  Elizabeth Guindi  Elsie Flores  Estefania Hinojosa  Faisy  Fernando Memije  Germán Bracco  Gustavo Helguera  José Ramón Berganza  Luis Carlos Villareal  Luz Aldán  Manuel Balbi  Marcela Alvarez  Marcos Radosh  Nacho Riva Palacio Nailea Norvind  Natalia Téllez  Pablo Rodríguez  Plutarco Haza  Ricardo Fastlitch  Ricardo Peralta  Roberto Romano  Rossana Najera  Tiaré Scanda  Vanesa Restrepo  Yolanda Ventura  Yuriria Sierra  Zoraida Gómez

Dal 90’ in poi, fino aggi, nasceranno importanti cicli pittorici come Boogie Woogie, The Blues, It Is, El Viajero, Oxygen e oggi l’Orsa Amarena.

"look, it's just naked bodies. we've been drinking and the lake is right there. i'll close my eyes if that's what you prefer." she stated with an all-too-innocent giggle. the woman boldly took her top off and smirked in their direction, gauging their reaction before proceeding. if it truly made them uncomfortable, she'd stop, but the idea was all too tempting.

Our open letter to the showrunners got 58 signatures in 2 days! Considering we are supporting a fictional character this is an OUTSTANDING achievement!
Our community on reddit is becoming bigger everyday and we are dreaming the dream of a live Q&A with our own questions. Join r/weyler to dream with us!
Thank you everyone who signed the letter! I invited whoever see themselves in these words to sign it too (link in the first comment of this post):
To the Showrunners of Wednesday:
We've been inspired by the show and the incredible performances by Hunter Doohan, Jenna Ortega, and the rest of the cast members.
Respectfully,
VDC and Gaby A.
