A very merry Christmas to you, @2-depressed-4-u . It is I, your secret santa from @mlsecretsanta . I have had a wonderful time talking to you this year (even if I wasn't supposed to, oops), and hope you have a wonderful holiday.

And now, without further ado, your present.

I Don't Need Sleep, I Need Answers

If his father could see his room at that moment, Adrien was sure the man would faint with shock. Fortunately, Gabriel Agreste was needed in China to investigate one of his companies’ main manufacturers, so Adrien was in the clear… for now.

His room looked like his couch was almost pushed up against one wall, but he’d left a foot of space between it and the wall so he had full access to his masterpiece. Along the north-facing wall was a chaotic conspiracy board, with red string threading from picture to picture. Some of his pieces of evidence were printed out from his computer, like the article about Marinette designing for Jagged Stone or the picture of Ladybug kissing him from back during the Oblivo incident. Others were hand drawn to the best of his ability if he couldn’t find an appropriate image online.

But in the end, all the pictures led back to a center image: his limited edition poster of Ladybug.

Plagg hovered near one of the most important pieces of evidence, the feathered bolo hat Marinette had made. “Hey, kid… when’s the last time you got any sleep?” he asked, his eyes flickering between Adrien and his evidence wall.

“I don’t need any sleep,” Adrien spat, climbing over and onto the back of the couch so he could connect some string between a picture of Marinette and badly-drawn recreation of Multimouse. On the hand drawn page, he wrote no earrings????, with multiple question marks going off the page and onto the wall. “I need answers.”

“I thought you’d decided that you weren’t going to look for Ladybug’s identity anymore?”

The boy scoffed. “I thought so too, but you didn’t see what I saw! During that last akuma battle, Ladybug left, and then… Marinette was there! She always hides during akuma battles, she wouldn’t just run around during one, unless…” He pinned another picture to the wall, wrinkling the paper with his force. “She was Ladybug.”

Plagg sighed. “Or she was trapped in the area and took it as her chance to run. Or she was hiding but someone was in danger, so she rushed out to help. Or some other reason why she’d risk her life. Why don’t you just ask her, kid?”

“Because if she’s Ladybug, she’d just lie!” Adrien explained. “I know how this works, Plagg; we’re not supposed to know each other’s identities. Ladybug sticks to that rule better than me… and no matter how good of a person she is, or how much Marinette hates liars, she’d still be willing to lie to protect herself.”

“If she’s lying to protect herself, then wouldn’t she be safer if you didn’t discover who she is? If you stopped your investigation now, before someone gets hurt?”

Adrien shook his head, picking up another picture of Ladybug. “You don’t understand, Plagg. She shouldn’t have to look out for herself. I should be the one to do it for her.”

Adrien’s plan started the next day at school.

Keeping an eye on Marinette proved impossible when she sat directly behind him, but he kept a keen ear on her and Alya’s conversation. While he didn’t think his Lady would be so blasé to discuss her superheroine life where anyone could hear her, he was expecting at least some reference. Alya was her best friend after all; he’d certainly let things slip to Nino throughout his months as Chat Noir.

But no. There was nothing. When not distracted by classwork, all they talked about was the Ladyblog, and Marinette’s new commissions for Kitty Selection. So, it was onto plan B.

When Plagg was trying to talk him out of this—and really, wasn’t that evidence unto itself, that Plagg was trying to talk him out of investigating—he’d said that Adrien reminded him of Alya. Reminded him that Alya had once done the same thing to Chloe, and gotten akumatized for it. But Adrien wouldn’t get akumatized! For one thing, Marinette was in no way like Chloe. For another, Adrien, and Alya back then, had direct evidence that Chloe wasn’t Ladybug, since Chloe was often seen with or around Ladybug.

Outside of the Multimouse incident, had Adrien ever seen Ladybug save or even talk to Marinette?

No.

But Plagg’s words had reminded him that he wasn’t the only person who’d ever searched for Ladybug’s identity. And his best ally sat behind him and to the left.

Adrien pulled Alya to the side during lunch, with Marinette watching curiously and Nino shaking his head in amusement before engaging Marinette in a conversation. Adrien knew he could count on him. And when he found an abandoned classroom to talk to Alya, he swallowed and began to explain.

She’d looked nervous, when he began, but as he kept explaining all his evidence as to why Marinette could be Ladybug, a thoughtful expression bloomed on her face. But that didn’t mean she automatically believed him. And then she asked a damnable question. “What about Lila?”

Ah. He’d forgotten about Lila.

He preferred to forget about her rather than think about—

Alya continued. “Because she and Ladybug are best friends, you know? But I’m pretty sure Marinette hates Lila. Not that she’d ever say she hates Lila, but she refuses to go to girl’s day when Lila is invited, and she leaves sleep-overs early when she’s there, but Lila has no idea why—”

Oh, Adrien had a good idea why. And it was the same reason why Adrien had convinced his father to only allow single or boys-only shoots for him this spring, that it was more fashionable that way.

“Maybe it’s a ruse?” He offered instead. “Maybe Marinette’s only pretending to dislike Lila so she doesn’t find out her identity? It’s not like Lila has ever said she knew Ladybug’s identity.”

“Well, she did imply it once…” When did that happen!? Adrien might be mostly ignoring Lila at this point, but how did he miss that? “But she backtracked when I asked some more questions, so I think she only suspects she knows who Ladybug is. But if Marinette is Ladybug, then we could talk to her and she doesn’t have to pretend to hate Lila anymore!”

Alya gave a blinding smile. Adrien didn’t have the heart to tell her that Marinette definitely would not change her opinion of Lila if they discovered her identity.

In fact, she might yell at them both.

With Alya on board to stalk Marinette for all the wrong reasons, Adrien had started to feel a little more secure in his plan to discover Ladybug’s identity. For the rest of lunch and the remainder of class, Alya used some leading questions on Marinette to try and get any information, but she was like a steel wall. Alya had even thought up a cool audience participation event where Ladyblog would post everyone’s fan heroes that sounded really interesting.

(Marinette said she’d want to be a black cat hero! She was so cute—)

But there was nothing that pointed towards Marinette being Ladybug. After school, once Alya had begged off girl squad duties and Adrien had lied about an extra long fencing meeting, the two met up to stalk Marinette.

First, she spent a few hours at Eiffel Tower, designing. Then, she spent an hour in a fabric store, picking out a few yards of champagne fabric, all of which looked the same to Adrien’s discerning eye, but were clearly different to her. And finally, she met her parents at a local Italian bistro for dinner. And despite spending their entire afternoon stalking her, they’d learned nothing.

Nothing except the fact that Marinette had an adorable habit of talking to herself when she was alone, but that wasn’t strictly evidence.

Alya sat back on the bench, pulling her disguise hat down to cover her eyes. Marinette and her family were clearly visible from the restaurant window. “Maybe she isn’t Ladybug?” Alya asked. “I mean, Ladybug usually patrols in the afternoon, and she hasn’t left our sight all day!”

That was more because Adrien had offered to talk Ladybug’s afternoon patrol that day, but Alya didn’t need to know that. He hiked the newspaper with holes cut out for eyes higher onto his face. “She could be having an off day?”

“No. Adrien, what was your real reason for—”

Suddenly, the ground shook and people screamed as an akuma, eye-screaming pink and cackling at the top of his lungs, whipped past. They shot to their feet. Alya begged off to chase after the akuma and Adrien let her, his eyes glued to the window. Her family was still there, but Marinette was gone. Was she in the restroom? Or…

“Adrien, what are you doing?”

“I’m just going to check,” he told his kwami, running to the backside of the bistro. If Marinette was Ladybug, she’d have to escape out the back, right?

“There’s an akuma! Come on, you have to—”

“I just need to check!” He scolded. He was almost there!”

“Damn it, kid!” Adrien froze. Was Plagg… mad at him? Plagg was never mad at him! “This has gone on long enough! Is your love life really worth other people’s lives!?”

No. No it wasn’t. And Ladybug would hate him if he even considered for a second skipping out on a battle just to look for her identity.

Really, there was only one choice left.

“Plagg, claws out.”

“Finally!”

He’d have to try again another day. Think of a new plan of attack. But for now, he was Chat Noir. And Chat Noir had a fight to win.

The next day, Plagg immediately wriggled his way into Marinette’s purse, where Tikki sat, contently eating a chocolate-chip cookie.

“Sugar Cube, you’ve got to make sure your user is more careful,” he said, rubbing his head with his paws. “Adrien almost found out her identity!”

he found the fact you could hop from one dimension to another EXTREMELY INTERESTING, though when you would explain it to him, all he did was smile widely like a dork and stare at you while you spoke.

he scolds you sometimes for not taking care of yourself, and when you snap at him, tell him you never ask him to care, he just replies to you that he knows you never asked, but he chooses to care about you.

you'd've started falling for him after a long while, seeing him ceaselessly care for you and help you out better than any machine you've ever created and any person you've ever hired. and though gabri fell for you first... you definitely fell harder.

he gets all excited when you tell him to come with you to other dimensions for help, even if it isn't for leisure or hanging out with him, he'll do anything to spend the day with you.

when gabri gets all relieved after you come back to him after a dangerous mission, he gets all nervous, stuttering and stammering about how worried you've made him, and all you do to get him to calm down is hold him close and kiss his lips.

he makes you food when you're too busy with work, he hates seeing you go another hour without eating or drinking water.

he insists you go to bed and actually have a decent, reasonable sleep schedule.

here they are. my scrimblos. :

Antek, token cis white man of the group: -ISFJ, he/him, age is around 18, listens to ABBA, Queen, Modern Talking, Manaam, Obywatel GC, Lady Pank and Depeche Mode.

(i think i wrote it on his ref sheet but he got his scar by simply tripping over a cupboard as a child. He doesnt tell anyone about this though and always comes up with different stories about how he got the scar. So some people think he got it by winning a bear fight or fighting a drunk old man)

-he is a fucking menace. and i mean it. most insane man on earth that always tries to grab others attention in the most dangerous and stupid ways imaginable. Also uses alcohol as his weapon to look and act more cool and always fails miserably. Hes also very noncommittal and always switches out the people that he talks to after a week, simply because he doesnt feel comfortable with anyone. But he still loves getting attention from others so he keeps getting into these relationships just to drop them later. Theres something different about Bianka and Gabriel though and thats why theyre friends. and I think his pinterest board explains his personality better than i ever will

and some fun facts! hes surprisingly good at cooking and is the only one in the group that knows how to drive a car.

if it comes to Bianka shes my favorite goth woman ever. Here is some info about her: -ENTJ, she/them, is around 17, listens to Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Myslovitz, Republika, Depeche Mode and The Cure.

-Obviously shes recognized mostly for her gothic makeup which I absolutely love drawing. And shes goth herself, and is even in a gothic punk band! The band members include her, as the bassist, Helena as the singer, Janek as the drummer and Antek used to play the keyboard before they kicked him out.

And this is how I imagine them:-) just two alt girls and just some guy. Love them

-Bianka is the most confident out of everyone in the group, even Antek who's all over the place. She knows when to stop talking unlike him though. However her being confident doesnt mean she likes being in the spotlight, in fact, she absolutely hates it. She hates that everyone is always listening to her and whenever she walks in the room all eyes are on her. So most of the times she just wants to hide and spends time in her little circle of friends, but if theres an emergency then shes the first one to intervene. She also has a very weird moral compass just like Helena so theyre best friends, obviously.

Literally her. A fun fact about her is that she has like four Siouxsie and the Banshees posters in her room and owns a golden retriver which I didnt name yet.

oh and i forgot to mention but Bianka has Chinese ancestors and has a lot of chinese facial features that I always fail to draw because I focus on her makeup too much.

The last one is Gabriel, miserable ginger guy whos also the main character of the plot and yet i know so little about him. Im still figuring out his personality honestly. Anyhow:

-ISFP, he/him, age 17, listens to Tame Impala, Gorillaz, The Strokes, MGMT, David Bowie, Dolly Parton and Depeche Mode. All three of them are Depeche Mode fans.

-As I mentioned I know very little about him. But I think hes more of watcher of the world around him than a member of it. He's mostly quiet because he cant figure out when its the best time to speak, unfortunately that also means he keeps his best jokes to himself. Hes also mostly dissociated from the world and tries to be an active member of it so bad that he always ends up doing stupid things or hurting himself in the process. I think its just safe to say hes still figuring out his place in the world, and because the world around him confuses him so much he holds onto safe memories most of the time. Thats why hes a photographer and likes catching all of the important moments of life on camera, its like a comforting feeling for him. Hes also very irrational and a people pleaser but i blame it on his undiagnosed AuDHD honestly.

-as hes the narrator of the story, its very important to mention hes a queer character. I avoided talking about the queernes of others characters on purpose, since its an important part of their story that i dont want to share yet but without any context ill just say that Gabriel is a trans man and bisexual!

as for fun facts he owns a cat named Felek, really likes green olives and lives with his grandparents. Antek also taught him how to drive a car but he never put that info in use.

AND HERE COMES MY FAVORITE PART!!!! ILL EXPLAIN THE DYNAMIC BETWEEN THEM ALL!!!

starting with Gabriel and Nastka, whom I didnt mention in this post as shes just a side character, its important to know that these two are childhood friends. Theyre not that close anymore, their relationship disappeared as time went on, but they both keep each other in their memories and think about each other a lot. They both nicknamed each other after Dead Poets Society characters too, so Nastka never calls Gabriel by his name, but Todd. Theyre also neighbours and share a balcony. Sometimes they meet there as theyre hanging up clothes to dry and just exchange smiles.

The relationship between Gabriel and Antek is more complicated. They met on a party once and never got to know each other better, but couldnt stop thinking about each other. Gabriel just knows about Antek from Bianka's stories and vice versa, and whenever they meet everyone thinks theyre best friends because of how well they can get along without even knowing a thing about themselves. They always end up dancing together on parties, going on walks at night and talking about their favorite books somewhere in the corner, having deep conversations about their views of life but they never ask each other personal questions and if you ask one of them to say whats their favorite color, they wouldnt know. I like to think the universe never gave them a chance to know each other better because if it did theyd be too powerful together. Maybe if they got to know each other better theyd be more than friends.

Bianka and Anteks relationship is pretty similar to the relationship between Gabriel and Nastka. Theyre also childhood best friends and first met each other in the counselors office in 6th grade as Bianka tried to beat someone up for being mean to Antek, a guy she didnt even know yet. She just needed an excuse to get in a fight with some boys that she didnt like and somehow made a best friend ten minutes later. Since then theyve been on and off, sometimes splitting up for months at a time and going back to each other to spill everything theyve learned while they were away. They always find support in each other even if they cant understand each other that well and are total opposites. Somehow Bianka always finds a way to cheer up Antek, even if shes the one to make him feel bad in the first place.

Antek was the first one to suggest they should make a band, and they tried several times until they ended up with Helena and Janek which I previously mentioned.

And the last one, Bianka and Gabriels dynamic..... its very cute actually. Bianka is the first person to show Gabriel the world around him and introduce him to new possibilities. She showed him goth dance moves and helped him find his taste in music. They met in high school as they sat together in math class and if not Bianka being confident and immediately accepting Gabriel as her friend, hed never speak to her. He probably still thinks shes too cool for him, but is very happy to have her as a friend anyway even if he feels belittled by her sometimes. Feeling belittled is why Gabriel usually doesnt speak to her first and waits until she does it first. They often do sleepovers where they watch all of their favorite movies for the tenth time.

Also they all have friendship bracelets. All three of them.

I dont know what else I could talk about so i think thats all!! Thats still such a long post I hope someone actually reads it. Thank you for asking about them I had so much fun writing this<3

I also purposefully avoided talking about the plot of Migawka because I want to keep it a secret. I really want to write a book or a comic one day with all three of the characters and so I wanna keep the plot to myself until I finish writing.

Your eyes slowly open, adjusting to the dark room. As you blink away the heavy grasp of sleep, you scan your surroundings. A habit picked up after years of facing the disoriented confusion that comes along with being kidnapped on a hunt.

After thorough investigation you come to the conclusion that you are safe, in your room, in the bunker. You had been injured on a hunt, Sam had properly patched you up. You had been left here to rest while they finished up.

You weren't at all fond of Sam's suggestion to miss out of the rest of the hunt, but with Cas and Gabe both gone on an extensive and dangerous hunt, the only thing yo u could do to help the nearly 6 inch open wound, was rest.

As you leave your grogginess behind, you realize just how difficult it is to swallow, your mouth gone dry from t he nearly eleven hours you had been unconscious.

Before you can open the door to make your way to the kitchen, you pause. There are muffled voices coming from your previous destination. You recognize them almost immediately as two of the demons that you had just a day ago been fighting for your life against.

You can picture their faces, and you shudder at the realization that one of them is the reason you are here in the first place. Responsible for the painful gash running across your abdomen.

However, you still can't help but smirk at his next words.

"Can't wait to show that little bitch what she's in for, after the shit she pulled with that fancy fucking knife of her's."

Demons don't normally travel in large groups, which is what made this underground network of demons so fascinating. It was a black market of sorts, gathering large groups of crossroad demons into one places to act as vendors. Rather than pay copious amounts of cash, patrons traded in their souls for illegal goods and favors.

You needed a place to start, and that place just so happened to be a demon by the name of Isaiah. Despite his high-ranking in the scheme he had slipped up one too many times, allowing you to find and capture him, using your angel blades to force whatever information out of him you could.

Now you grasp that very same blade as you make your way to the kitchen.

You stand over their bloodied and lifeless bodies, gasping for breath as you hold an arm loosely over the freshly opened and once again bleeding wound.

"Honey, we're home!" The cheerful voice you know oh so well booms throughout the bunker in a sing-song voice. You make your way through the bunker hoping to find one of the angels.

You do, Castiel unpacks a small duffle-bag, looking up when he senses you pesence,

"Hi."

"You are bleeding."

'Thank you, Captain Obvious, I hadn't realized.'

Your plan to have Cas heal you before Gabriel realizes is thrown out the window as the man of the hour enters the room.

"Cas, I really hope you're not startin' up that whole talking to yourself thing again. It was hella freaky," Gabriel looks up, and is unable to finish his statement.

"Is that blood?"

You look down, "No?"

"Sweets, that is not the type of question that should be answered with another question."

"Only like, half of its mine, if that makes you feel any better."

He squeezes his eyes shut a moment and sighs, before moving towards you. In a flutter of wings you are back in your room. Gabriel worked fast, grabbing a towel to set on the bed before gently pushing you to sit.

His large hand cups your face and you are immediately filled with electrifying feeling that comes with archangel grace. Your eyes close as he heals your wounds.

"Mind telling me what the hell happened here?"

Your eyes slowly open, "Only if I get to wash this blood off first."

He sighs, placing a kiss to your forehead, "Alright, I'll start the shower."

i just got a few questions feel free to just pick one <33 ..... 1. how did Gracie and jack frost met? (that and how she met the other guardians) did she met them like in the movie or was it before or after the events of the movie?

2. (bit nervous cuz im not sure if this sounds rude to ask forgive me if it does) if she and jack start dating how would they deal with him not being able to age? or does something happen that make either Gracie stay the same or jack being able to age like a normal human? since he's stuck at the age he became a "spirit"? which in the books is 14 but in the movie 17 (imma be honest with this info maybe he can sorta age but its just....slowly? im not sure, this is sorta whether u consider the books and movie separate or not)

First Jack and Gracie met after the events of the first movie, BUT, technically, they met when Jack was still human. "What ?? How is it possible ??" And that's simply because Gracie reincarnated multiple times through time because she's a mermaid ! (I was like sixteen when I created her I feel like it's a necessary info I'll say more later about the lore) so when they met, they were Jackson and Purity Grace, in the 1700s something. Their trope would be Immortal x Reincarnated. They fell in love during this era but Purity Grace died a year before Jack in an arson with her entire family (I'm a cruel piece of trash i know hehe)

For the second (which is totally appropriate) She's 19 and he's 17 but she won't age any longer, I'm explaining: in this lore, mermaids has the possibility to reincarnated and grant wishes for the ones they want. When she was still a mermaid in the 1500s something she granted a lot of wishes because she loves humans, but her first love died and she was cursed by someone called The Wlaker after she refuse to help him : she is condemned to forget her name and die in the very place where she caused it, and everytime she will never exceed the twenties and will die in horrible pain. Which is what happened later, she's captured by colons, treated like a witch, she will be sprinkled with salt, which will take away her powers, and quartered in the public square. Now I'll try to go faster because it's getting long so then she reincarnated six times before Gracie and the more she reincarnated, the more she's unable to imagine or dreams things and every time, no matter how she looks Jack seemed to recognize her but not remember her, and it's the same for Gracie.

When Gabriel (one of her lives) who almost never had dreams, underwent several dangerous operations which caused his death. A divide was created in her discernment of reality and imagination and Gracie began to have hallucinations from Angela David, around the age of fifteen. Gracie's hallucinations are actually a mixture of memories from her past lives, dreams, nightmares and children's wishes intertwined in her mind. Because of her numerous reincarnations, Gracie is unable to dream when she sleeps nor discerns correctly the reality from the false. But destined to become a guardian, the Man on the Moon helps her regain possession of her increasingly strong powers. She will regain all her memories thanks to her teeth that are the exact same since her first life.

A/N: Sorry for taking so long :) Hope u like it,@/ bepsimantheanomaly and everybody!

💮 For us to start this discussion clearly, facts need to be said: just because you are a small, innocent, and defenseless thing doesn't take away from the fact that Gabriel is nothing more than a deity who came to earth to play with humanity that almost looks like a bunch of ants trying to survive a harsh winter.

💮 I believe that Gabriel if one day he saw you, he would think you were just another ant in his backyard, so small and insignificant you are compared to him. Knowing this, keep in mind that for this story to continue, don't wait for the Angel to find some importance in you, you are the one who has to take the first step and go look for him. Just remind yourself which way you are about to go.

💮 The first time you meet, the scenario would be something like:

 You would be playing around, with whatever is in your favor, in some public place. Your mother would no longer be here to hear you cry. There is nothing or no one here that can protect you.

Noises would come from all sides, the wind would get more violent, and the place would be darker, this would only worsen your condition now. It was possible, there might have been something, not so nice, watching you out of the corner of its eye somewhere…but it's just a hypothesis…that wasn't something you should care so much about, after all, he was right by your side.

The thing was just a hideous face, it was initially just staring at you, after that, it was moving away from you.

💮 If this scenario happens, you have two options:

Ignore the man in the dress and continue to play, however, over a week, or even months, you will still see that man with a hideous face.

 Or

Kill the cat out of genuine curiosity and want to follow a strange face around town?

 —Choice isn't all that important, because either one will lead you to one thing: Gabriel. Just because you see him even when he doesn't want to, makes him slightly confused about you.

 —By then, Gabriel would be forming brief thoughts of a lost AND FOOLISH puppy in you. Look at yourself! You are following a being you don't know out there in one of the most dangerous cities for children! It's just mildly worrisome.

💮 For the confusion and curiosity you planted in the Angel, he would be more willing to approach you. For the time being, you would have the divine mercy that was bestowed on you, and no kind of danger would come near you…except the Angel himself.

💮 His approach methods would be the quality of time. Supervising you while playing...although having a being that could just grab you with its palm and easily kill you, is not one of the best options to get close to a person and especially a toddler... to get better the weather, Gabriel would try to join you in whatever kind of game you want to play.

💮 Months go by and surprisingly, your approach methods worked! It just didn't work out the way he wanted. In that time, Gabriel began to take more interest in you and noticed much more how easy it was to at least peel your skin off with one touch, his thoughts of keeping you hammering him more and more. I think you have a new guardian!... I don't know if this is good.

💮 Because of the extreme height difference, many things had to be adapted, such as his speed.

 As you follow him, he would have to walk more slowly so your little legs could keep up with him again. If you tire quickly, Gabriel would just stop and wait for you to catch your breath again.

💮 The likely chances of the Angel introducing you to his lackeys are low, but not zero. For everyone to have proper behaviors, and for no one to try to give you psychological trauma, threats will have to be made. Six/Intruder would be the most trusted of all, for his good experience with children, however, Gabriel wouldn't leave you for more than 3 hours with him. 

He is more experienced, but still not as reliable.

💮 Crazy, huh? Being basically adopted by an antichrist that all that comes to his mind is the destruction of humanity's evolution…well, anything is possible, isn't it? :D

The bomb whimpers, pushing his body against the wall, clutching the bullet wound in his arm.

“P-Please. Please- Please don’t do this… i-I don’t wanna die”

Years. This hunt had been happening for years. The cloud man holding his pistol at the other. Just shoot him. That’s all he had to do… but. Most anomalies hadn’t begged in… such a broken tone. None of them had lasted this long in a chase. Most would have given up. But this one was highly dangerous! But the way he looked… so broken… so helpless…

“St-Stop. Stop pleading- st-stop looking at me like that! Y-You’re m-making t-this harder than it HAS to be!” Whitty lets out a shaky sob, looking at the other in fear as the tears rolled out. Gabriel’s hand quakes. The pistol’s aim now highly unsteady. He couldn’t do this. He lowers the gun.

“F u c k. Please- stop making this difficult. I k n o w you didn’t want this. You didn’t want these fucking powers- you didn’t want this fucking god awful life but just- it-it’s for the g-greater good?” Now even h e sounded unsure. Whitty stares at the other, still afraid, unmoving.

“…. S h i t… god fucking…” Gabriel puts the pistol away, pulling out a different gun. Whitty shaking more now. What was that.

“Go to sleep… ok?” And with that the cloud tranqs the bomb. Whitty passing out only a few seconds after contact.

“….” Gabriel sighs, calling into his office.

“Hey Tina? Yeah can you… dust off the anomaly rehabilitation center? I think we’re gonna be starting that back up…”

the mandela cult au is a mandela catalogue alternative universe where the alternates are human. thats the prime point.

instead of overthrowing heaven and commanding alternates in the tmc universe, in my human au, Gabriel Bernard takes over the main church of the mandela county by killing off the priest (god in the tmc universe) and his son (the real archangel gabriel in the tmc universe), ultimately replacing them and becoming the new father without anyone suspecting a thing in the late 1970s. he began indoctrinating his own version of the bible nd christianity, teaching it to the church goers and corrupting them. this knowledge becomes horrid and dark, ultimately making the church into a cult and any person within it distorted. their faces and voices became warped from the knowledge draining their humanity, making them appear to have uncanny valley features. gabriel's teachings began to spread to every church within the surrounding counties, ultimately creating a larger cult hellbent on ruling. the people who reside with the church go out and attempt to spread the 'gospel' to any unlucky victim, going to homes like mormons and attempting to manipulate residents into joining the cult as well.

as for children, human!6 (who im still workin on nd developing for the au) kidnaps them from unsuspecting parents (or just kidnaps kids from parents who were killed by the cult by disobeying the knowledge. also kidnaps orphans) and forces them to reside in churches, the gospel and teachings brainwashing them super young and making them grow up to be even more distorted and uncanny. little humanity is left in these kids and people.

the main protagonist, Tyler Oakland, is the human version of T, my alternate oc in the tmc series. he was an orphan who's only option was to find home within the mandela county church when he was a toddler. from there, the cult ultimately abused him, distorting him in many obscure and dangerous ways. he retaliated constantly, not wanting to follow the church or join the cult. he hated what they did and the gospel never manipulated him into being brainwashed. he was beaten, bruised, burned, ridiculed, etc into submitting but he never did so. he ran away in his mid 20s when gabriel was going to punish him by crucifying him, wanting him to be a religious symbol and meaning to the cult. tyler wasnt having it, and he chose to escape. he had to build his life up from scratch, spending decades on plotting his revenge and wanting to stop the cult all together.

now in his early 40s, lives on the outskirts of the infected counties, becoming a refugee spot for any ex-cult member seeking help. he runs an autoshop, having success in mechanics and fixing up cars for people. he resides there too, his home branching off from the shop itself. every night, he goes out and kills as many cult members as possible to dwindle the rising population of the church and to save people from them. he becomes the notorious 'Church Murderer', where lieutenant Thatcher Davis takes on the case to try and find out what is going on with the religion, cult, and killer. he has no luck however, but runs into tyler several times. davis has no idea tyler is the killer and tyler has no idea Davis is looking for said killer, aka him.

one night, a man named Josiah Wood, who is the human version of an alternate oc named Watchman, created by @finalfridayss finally left the cult. he still has heavy mixed feelings about his old occupation, having killed innocent people before and seeing gabriel as a father figure. the stolen vehicle he had broke down a block from the shop and he was lucky to have found tyler, who was open and working late. they talked and tyler agreed to help him despite josiah having nothing to his name. whilst working on the car, they talked about the cult and how josiah had just left. tyler explains he helps people who seek refuge and can offer any aid and assistance to josiah to help him get on his feet and josiah agrees.

as time goes on and josiah stays with tyler, he works in the shop with him. they become good acquaintances to close friends and then they become boyfriends, where they both permanently reside together now. they love each other very much.

tension rises in the cult as gabriel is hellbent on finding the murderer and stopping anyone from leaving the church. it gets worse when he starts to crack and break, making few cult members second guess what they were doing or if he is even a responsible leader anymore.

thats it so far. im still workin on developing characters (im developing preacher and 6 rn!) and building the angsty climax between tyler/josiah and gabriel and what the aftermath of everything would be. i still change details as time goes on and more info/lore of the tmc series comes out too. this is kinda a slowburn au where the spotlight is on tyler and josiah, their relationship to each other and the cult, etc.

of course we have the main victims in it as well, along with the bythorn anti-cult society (basically BPS), but they got their own lives nd stuff goin on. i already wrote about em as well if anyone wants to read it in the tag

Nicky Di Genova is home for the summer after he graduated college - except, things are tense and strange.  His Dad, a big shot lawyer who works for Merrick Enterprises, has hired extra security, and seems a bit miffed he came home for the summer instead of touring Europe like he had wanted him, too.  But Nicky was just trying to spend his summer in the pool while he figures some things out . . . 

Joe is hired as extra security to watch over a guy who knows nothing about life.  This is his last job, and then he’s done - he’s out, and can just focus on what he wants to do next.  But what was supposed to be an easy job of watching a rich kid sunbathing while his Dad coordinates his grand jury testimony with the DEA, turns into something much more dangerous.  It’s not just Nicky’s Dad who is in danger - it’s Nicky, too. 

Because someone has decided he wants him all to himself . . . and it’s not just Joe.

Author(s) Commentary: Clarita Luz and I are ecstatic to finally share a project we have been working on for a while ❤ We used this fantastic prompt, and after an enormous amount of brainstorming - and like a twenty page Google doc of timelines, outlines, backstories, and character drafts 😅 - later, we are excited to announce our little WIP arriving in January!

Though it starts as a bodyguard AU, we decided to expand/change a few key points from the prompt - namely no homophobia, or drug use, no mafia (but there is corruption and DEA agents abound), and made Nile Nicky’s childhood best friend vs one of the security team members.  And it has evolved into something quite deep with themes of loss, grief and recovery from trauma.  It’ll definitely be a multi fic and we cannot wait to see what y’all think of it!!

Because of it’s heavy, angsty, themes, we are also sharing the content warnings and tags/tropes so all our readers can make an informed decision in regards to reading it.  It does have a happy ending though, so we hope you’ll hang in there till the end!

A/N: Just a small little indulgent Luci fic cause he makes me weak. Also I am not goth or alt so I don’t really know how to write for them? But I tried my best.

You sighed for possibly the 20th time in the past hour. You just shot down another dick who assumed that just because you were goth/alt you would be easy to get into bed. Ultimately, you were not impressed with the club scene tonight. You thought it might be nice to get out, dress up in your best tight black outfit, put on your hottest makeup and maybe meet some fun people. But apparently the only people who were out today were creeps. You dropped your face into your open palm as you leaned against the bar you were sat at. You let your dark nails tap impatiently against the glass of your drink.

“Not an incredibly impressive lot, are they?” A smooth voice drawls out beside you. You turned to the voice to your right and you were met with ice blue eyes. You couldn’t help but let your confusion show on your face. There hadn’t been anyone in that seat just a moment ago. And you hadn’t heard anyone walk up. Blue eyes just chuckled at your confusion. “Did I scare you?” The smirk he gave you after saying this was nothing short of… demonic. You couldn’t help the chill that creeped up your spine when he spoke. In fact, you started feeling oddly cold ever since this conversation started. You had to mentally steel yourself, you weren’t usually one to let someone get under your skin. You sat up straight as you shot back at him.

“Not scared, just surprised at the audacity you had to approach me.” You couldn’t help but feel that you were pushing your luck somehow, but you couldn’t help yourself. To your surprise, that earned a brief chuckle from your new companion. You used this moment to take in more of his appearance. Pale skin, perfectly messy blond hair, the perfect amount of stubble all wrapped together in a brown leather jacket. You briefly remember a quote you read long ago about the devil being beautiful. You watched as the corners of your nameless companion’s lips slid up into a sinful smirk. If you didn’t know any better you'd say he was in your head, hearing every sinful thought you’d ever had. Before you could utter another word, blue eyes was flagging down the bartender and ordering you another drink. “I didn’t ask you to buy me a drink.” You spoke evenly, not wanting to betray your desire for the man beside you.

“No, but you wanted me to.” You were taken aback by the man’s confidence. He was right of course, but you didn’t want him to know that. So you just rolled your eyes and accepted the drink that was placed before you.

“You have no way of knowing that.” You challenge him. He leans in to you as though he’s about to share a dark secret.

“Honey, I know more about you than you do.” He sends a cocky wink your way before pulling away. You can’t ignore the small part of your brain that completely believes him.

“And what do you know about me?” You ask, desperately trying to keep your confident mask up.

“I know that you’re attracted to me, even though I make you nervous. I know that you’re bored of your dull life. You want an adventure. That’s part of why I approached you tonight.” The man lets his fingers trail gently up your arm as he speaks, seeming unconcerned with your rigid posture.

“And how exactly do you know all this?” You ask, slightly breathless.

“Because I am a powerful being that can read your mind.” You scoff at the notion. “See, you laugh, but deep down you know you want me to be telling the truth. Meeting an immortal entity that has the power to read minds is much more interesting than your normal day to day, don’t you think?” He places his head on his hand as he speaks to you, giving you a shockingly adorable look as he continues to speak.

“So you’re a vampire?” It’s his turn to scoff now. He raises his head again and sends you a playful glare.

“Don’t insult me sweetheart, you’re talking to one of the most dangerous beings on the planet here.” He shakes his head as if trying to rid himself of the apparently offensive comment.

“Who are you then?” As casually as the man beside you is acting, you must admit that you’re starting to feel nervous. You can’t help but feel that he has been nothing but honest with you so far. But if that is true, then why are you still talking to this incredibly dangerous individual? Surely it isn’t just because he’s attractive. And yet there is some part of you that is feeling a magnetic pull to the stranger.

“Promise you won’t get scared?” You nod. Waiting with baited breath. He leans in until he’s only a hair's width away from you and whispers in your ear. “Lucifer.” And when you turn to look him in the eyes you see his previously ice blue orbs turn red. You can’t help the wave of fear that washes over you, mixed with… something else.

“What do you want from me?” You whisper back, not trusting yourself to be able to speak normally without your voice wavering.

“I’ve been watching you for a while, little one.” His fingers reach up to stroke your hair. “I’m in the middle of taking over heaven. Long story. But when I do, I need a companion. Someone to rule by my side.” He drops a small kiss on your neck. “I want that person to be you.”

“Why me?” You whisper back to him. He pauses as he takes you in for a moment.

“Because, like I said, you’re bored of this life. And like me, I know you will rule with an iron fist.” You feel your lips slide into a grin as you listen to him speak. You don’t even feel ashamed by how quickly you answer.

“Yes.” Lucifer cracks a smile, and the two of you disappear. Leaving behind a half drunk glass of alcohol, ice steadily melting.
