Man//minteater
Old Saggy has a little guardian angel LaRoche:
(LaRoche is surprisingly human)
Whether he wants it or not:
(Parker is humanly frail)
Ncis s22, "Humbug"
I have this imagines that Pp gets sick and dizzy with the cold, hot, cold, hot of the building. He almost passes out and the warm kringla pastry he ate makes an undignified re-appearance. In front of LaRoche, who is there to take care of Pp gently.
Anyway, it ends with Parker sucking on LaRoche's tic tac when he feels better. Pp puts his hands in his pockets a lot, and he finds a tin of LaRoche's mints there the next time he does.

NCIS Season 22 has delivered plenty of action, intrigue, and drama, but has it lived up to its legacy?
From nuclear close calls to personal revelations, the first half of the season has given fans a lot to chew on — and left just as many lingering questions.
Whether it’s the standout moments from team MVPs or the unexpected twists that have us theorizing, NCIS Season 22 is shaping up to be one of the more unpredictable chapters in NCIS history. But it hasn’t been without its flaws.
Let’s break it all down with our midseason report card and see who’s acing it — and who needs to step up their game.
Team MVPs: Parker and McGee Save the Day Instead of highlighting the best and worst episodes so far this season, let’s talk about the real stars of the show: the team MVPs.
That honor belongs to Alden Parker and Tim McGee, who stood out on NCIS Season 22 Episode 4, “Sticks and Stones.”
In this high-stakes episode, the team faced a potential apocalypse — an imminent nuclear war — and managed to save the day just in the nick of time.
I consent to receiving emails and personalized ads. Conveniently (or not?), the episode aired the day before one of the most contentious elections in U.S. history. Coincidence? Maybe. But while the entire team rallied to prevent disaster, Parker and McGee earned the spotlight.
Here’s the setup: Air Force One has vanished, the chain of command is in shambles (who schedules a colonoscopy for 3 a.m., Mr. Vice President?!), and the military and Senate Majority Leader are one twitch away from launching nukes.
All of this chaos stems from a transmission out of NCIS Naples that hasn’t been fully decoded yet — a key piece of intel that could stop the madness.
Then, the voice of reason amidst the chaos appears — Alden Parker.
Parker doesn’t hesitate to challenge authority, even when the military brass and Senate bigwigs are frothing at the mouth to press the big red button.
When he tells them to cool it, their solution? Order McGee to arrest Parker. Classic.
But McGee wasn’t having any of it. A long-time Gibbs loyalist, McGee could’ve taken the safe route and followed orders.
Instead, he stood with Parker, refusing to arrest his boss and betting it all on gut instinct and faith.
Together, with Torres’s help, they took some unorthodox measures — like blasting hard rock music to cover Parker and Torres breaking into a communications center — to buy time and crack the case.
And guess what? Parker was right. Thanks to his straight-shooter instincts and McGee’s willingness to risk it all, they unraveled the truth in time to stop a global catastrophe.
Even Sweeny, the overzealous antagonist who came charging in to arrest them, had to admit that the world would’ve gone up in smoke without Parker.
This episode showcased Parker’s gutsy leadership and McGee’s evolution from rule-follower to someone who trusts his instincts — and his team.
Together, they proved that sometimes, saving the world requires a little rebellion and a lot of teamwork.
Best Twists and Turns One of the most surprising moments this season wasn’t so much a twist but a gut-wrenching turn: McGee not getting the deputy director position in NCIS Season 22 Episode 1, “Empty Nest.”
After 22 seasons of dedication, McGee has more than earned the promotion, so watching him get passed over was a tough pill to swallow.
The real kicker? The job went to Gabriel LaRoche, a character McGee suspects is a mole — and not just any mole — the one LaRoche himself claims is lurking within NCIS.
Talk about layers of intrigue. It’s a plotline that feels like it’s only just getting started.
Next, we had an eyebrow-raising moment on NCIS Season 22 Episode 8, “Out of Control,” with Parker’s mysterious “Lily.”
If you were paying attention, you’d recall Dr. Grace suggesting Parker keep track of when Lily appears, asking him to note any triggers.
And guess what? Lily seems to show up whenever Jess is around. Coincidence? I think not.
Finally, a bombshell dropped on the midseason finale with NCIS Season 22 Episode 9, “Humbug.”
At the end of the episode, Torres receives a text from someone asking if he’s coming over for Christmas. His reply? A cryptic, “Yes, I’m on my way, babe.”
Here’s the twist: he told Jimmy he’d be spending Christmas with McGee, and McGee thought he’d be with Jimmy.
So, who’s this mysterious “babe”? Between Torres’ “babe” and Parker’s “Lily,” could there be a connection? Or are we in for two completely separate — and equally juicy — reveals? Either way, NCIS knows how to keep us guessing.
Underused Characters
After 22 seasons with NCIS, McGee deserves so much more than the breadcrumbs he’s been given this season.
Instead of being at the heart of the action, he’s often relegated to the sidelines, leaving fans wondering why such an integral character is being treated like a bit player.
Yes, it was fun watching him channel his inner disco detective, donning a groovy ’70s look to interrogate a suspect in NCIS Season 22 Episode 5, “In From the Cold.”
And yes, his role in the aforementioned nuclear crisis with Parker was commendable.
McGee is more than capable of handling high-stakes drama, complex cases, and personal growth arcs.
He’s earned the spotlight, and it’s time the writers give him the storylines that reflect his importance to the team.
Fans don’t want scraps — they want substance. Let’s hope the back half of the season gives McGee the depth and attention he truly deserves.
The Side Characters Nobody Asked For
Two characters desperately need a course correction: Jimmy and Kasie. Jimmy, once the lovable oddball, has veered into territory that’s more annoying than endearing this season.
The awkward stalking moment with Jess on “Sticks and Stones” didn’t help, nor did his selfie session with Kasie over a corpse in NCIS Season 22 Episode 6, “Knight and Day.”
And let’s not even get started on the over-the-top soccer drama from NCIS Season 22 Episode 7, ‘Hardboiled.”
Jimmy used to bring heart to the team; now, it’s hard to pinpoint his purpose.
Then there’s Kasie, who continues to feel like a background character in her own storyline.
It’s frustrating because there is potential for her to be a valuable team asset. Instead, she’s relegated to blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments.
Kasie doesn’t need to be Abby, but she deserves a more defined role — perhaps it’s time to reevaluate whether she even belongs.
Shining Knight: Jess Deserves Her Moment
Jessica Knight has been an absolute standout this season, and it’s time she gets the recognition she deserves.
Her cool demeanor under pressure and unflinching determination have made her indispensable. She even brings shades of Kate Todd to the team — fun, bold, and always ready to rise to the occasion.
Jess is kicking ass this season, and honestly, I can’t wait to see what she does next.
Most Anticipated Storylines for the Back Half
With the first half of NCIS Season 22 delivering its share of drama and surprises, there’s plenty to look forward to when NCIS returns on January 27, 2025.
One of the most intriguing mysteries revolves around Parker’s “Lily,” the enigmatic presence tied to Jess. Is Lily a figment of Parker’s past, or does she symbolize something deeper about his connection to Jess?
Speaking of intrigue, Torres’ “Babe” is another storyline we’re dying to explore.
After a cryptic Christmas text, we’re left wondering who has captured Torres’ heart — and why he kept it a secret from his closest friends. Is it tied to his past, or is it something entirely unexpected?
And let’s not forget McGee’s growing distrust of Gabriel LaRoche, the new deputy director. If McGee’s instincts are right and LaRoche truly is a mole, it could set up one of the most explosive conflicts NCIS has seen in years.
The stakes couldn’t be higher, and we’re here for every twist and turn.
With all these storylines bubbling under the surface, the back half of NCIS Season 22 promises to be a wild ride.
The Back Half Promises Fireworks — Are You Ready?
The first half of NCIS Season 22 has laid the groundwork for some explosive revelations, and we can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
Will Parker’s “Lily” lead to a shocking confession? Who is Torres’ mysterious “babe”? And will McGee finally get the storyline he deserves?
With so much to look forward to, it’s clear NCIS isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

In Season 22 of NCIS, McGee's Ultimate Advantage Against MCRT Is Revealed
NCIS Season 22 Spoilers: Timothy McGee's Career Crossroads and Potential Future In the latest episode of NCIS season 22, Timothy McGee, portrayed by Sean Murray, faces a career dilemma that could alter his trajectory within the team. Despite his aspirations for a promotion to NCIS deputy director, McGee lost out to Gabrielle LaRoche, a former Department of Defense Inspector General, in a surprising turn of events. The setback forces McGee to reassess his position within the Major Case Response Team (MCRT) and contemplate his future growth opportunities. After a six-month time jump following the season 21 finale, McGee declined an initial offer to lead the MCRT in the absence of Gibbs, citing a reluctance for a desk job. However, a brief stint as the temporary NCIS director in the 1000th episode of the series may have reignited his ambition for advancement. The mid-season finale of season 22 sees McGee embracing his author persona, Thom E. Gemcity, as part of an undercover operation to retrieve leaked excerpts of a tell-all novel. The twist in McGee's career suggests a potential shift for the character, as his success as an author could pave the way for a career outside of the MCRT. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future on the team, McGee's newfound confidence and creativity offer a fresh perspective on his role within NCIS. The ongoing narrative hints at a possible departure from the agency as McGee contemplates his next steps and considers his alternatives. As the season progresses, the dynamic between McGee and his colleagues evolves, setting the stage for unexpected developments in his storyline. Whether McGee will ultimately decide to leave NCIS remains to be seen, but his recent actions and career aspirations suggest a departure from the team could be on the horizon. With the series teasing future plot twists and character arcs, fans can expect a dramatic and impactful resolution to McGee's journey in NCIS season 22.

It is a theme that revolves on what would you do if you get a power to write the laws of the nature. Bicycle branding research
In my feedback, I realised that I should probably do some branding research of actual bicycle brands to look for logo inspiration. As my target audience is students trying to look after their well being, I want to try communicate both these ideas in my logo, as well as the idea that it is a bike rental brand.
Qui Roule
bike shop and community based in quebec focused on e-bikes
very futuristic and bold logo
looks like a wheel that has been slightly broken
neutral colour palette connotes to a more technological brand, suggesting more e-bikes rather than regular road bikes
very modern
non italic and italic type together is effective as it almost shapes the circular logo a bit more
Cycle
course that covers cycling from basic to advanced, mechanics, teaching how to assemble, maintenance, and improvements
logo is inspired by the pendivela, the pedals that rotate the front sproket
using basic geometric shapes
modern, contemporary, memorable, interesting to look at
earthy colours
vibrant tones add contrast and a more modern edge
powerful, cohesive colours
Orbea
Bike selling company specialising in a range of different styles such as mountain bikes, triathlon bikes and e-bikes
logo looks almost like a bike link
simple geometric shapes, symmetrical but displaced effectively
very modern, almost futuristic logo
typeface is italic and bold
neutral tones with some earthly elements
very legible and powerful
take aways
experimentations with the actual logo illustration without the type, use as a device
colour palettes for these brands are quite neutral, however I want to maintain the idea of having more colour in my branding but add a few neutrals in their
maintain bike wheel idea as the shape is of interest

250(ish) Favorite Arrowverse Episodes: Part 7: 100-76
Picked from „Arrow“, „Black Lightning“, „Supergirl“, „Legends of Tomorrow“, „The Flash“, „Barwoman“ Season 1+2 and „Superman & Lois“ Season 1+2. I did consider kicking „Superman & Lois“ of this list, but since it pretended to be part of the Arrowverse for its first two seasons I left it on here.
100. Armageddon Part 4 (The Flash 8x4)
155, Written by: Lauren Barnett, Directed by: Chad Lowe
"Thawne, what did you do? You're not The Flash, Allen. I am."
99. Ground Control to Sara Lance (Legends of Tomorrow 6x1)
83, Written by: James Eagan, Mark Bruner, Directed by: Kevin Mock
„See, my girlfriend's from another time.“
„ Oh, like the future?“ „No. Well, technically, yes. But she's from the future with a different timeline entirely. Now she lives in a totem. And I'm forced to be at peace with it.“
98. The Fixed Point (Legends of Tomorrow 7x10)
107, Written by: Matthew Maala, Paiman Kalayeh, Directed by: Maisie Richardson-Sellers
"Fixed point. Noun. An occurrence so pivotal to history that no time travel is allowed on or near it."
97. Emerald Archer (Arrow 7x12)
150, Written by: Marc Guggenheim, Emilio Ortega Aldrich, Directed by: Glen Winter
"Villains or vigilantes? Criminals or heroes? From Star City to Central City to Gotham City, Americans have debated this question. Do the ends justify the means? Does the law have to be broken to uphold it?"
96. The Quest for Peace (Supergirl 4x22)
87, Written by: Robert Rovner, Jessica Queller, Rob Wright, Derek Simon, Directed by: Jesse Warn
"The truth is meaningless. The people of Earth believe I am their savior. They needed a human hero, and I fulfill that need. Nothing will ever change their minds. Facts are irrelevant. All that matters is spin."
95. Seance and Sensibility (Legends of Tomorrow 4x11)
62, Written by: Grainne Godfree, Jackie Canino, Directed by: Alexandra La Roche
"You feel the energy in this room? It's like sitting on a keg of dynamite. You see, wakes are notorious soft spots where the supernatural meets the living world."
94. Lost Souls (Arrow 4x6)
75, Written by: Beth Schwartz, Emilio Ortega Aldrich, Directed by: Antonio Negret
"What's happening with Ray - to Ray - is my fault!"
93. The Runaway Dinsoaur (The Flash 2x21)
44, Written by: Zack Stentz, Directed by: Kevin Smith
"I don't understand. If I'm the Flash then why are you doing this to me? Why do I have to catch this 'thing' before you let me go back?"
92. Goldfaced (The Flash 5x13)
105, Written by: Jonathan Butler, Gabriel Garza, Directed by: Alexandra LaRoche
"If I want to stop Cicada, I can't be so precious about getting the Flash's hands dirty. Sometimes the ends justify the means, I get that now."
91. Canary Cry (Arrow 4x19)
88, Written by:Wendy Mercile, Beth Schwartz, Directed by: Laura Belsey
„ Laurel Lance became a lawyer to help people who may have appeared helpless. She wanted to give a voice to the silent. But just being a lawyer wasn't enough. She wanted to do more for those people, and for this city. And she loved this city so much. By now, everyone knows that Laurel was killed in the Iron Heights prison riot. And while it's true that she was an assistant district attorney, that's not what she was doing there that night. Before she died, Laurel told me the truth: Laurel Lance was the Black Canary.“
90. The Book of Resistance: Chapter Four: Earth Crisis (Black Lightning 3x9)
38, Written by: Lamont Magee, Directed by: Tasha Smith
„Are you seeing this?“
89. This is Gus (Legends of Tomorrow 6x9)

88. Holding the Wrench (Superman & Lois 1x8)
8, Written by: Kristi Korzec, Directed by: Norma Bailey
"Jon, if there's anyone here who gets what you're going through, It's me. I know what it's like to be in the orbit of someone who can juggle semi-trucks, and you want to help out. You want to save the world and all you can do is just stand there holding the wrench. And I know the fear of being vulnerable, and I want to teach you some ways to handle that. But right now, I just want you to know that we're on the same team. We are the extraordinary humans in a family of superpeople, and we have to stick together."
87. O Brother, where art though? (Supergirl 4x15)
80, Written by: Derek Simon, Nicki Holcomb, Directed by: Tawina McKiernan

86. The House of L (Supergirl 4x16)
81, Written by: Dana Horgan, Eric Carrasco, Directed by: Carl Seaton
"This is a paradigm shift. Aliens are among us. And for the rest of human history, there will only ever be 'before Superman' and 'after'. I am protecting mankind from an extinction event. And if this pearl-clutching jury of my... peers... wants to put me behind bars for it, they are welcome to try. But know this. I will always have my thumb on the scales."
85. Luck Be a Lady (The Flash 4x3)
72, Written By: Sam Chalsen, Judalina Neira, Directed By: Armen V. Kervokian
"Becky, this isn't some higher power fixing a miscalculation. You have powers. And they're affecting everyone around you, making them feel as awful as you used to feel."
"I'm sorry about that. But, maybe it's just their turn. Maybe for once, everyone else can feel for a second how bad I felt my entire life."

„You were amazing today. How you handled those bad guys. How you handled yourself. You should be proud, Kara. I am. I'm sorry if I've been overprotective lately. When dad put me in charge of your safety, that job consumed me. But then I went away to college and-and I realized that I could be more than just Kara's older sister. But then I came home and I saw you and Kenny supering, and I was worried you were gonna mess things up. That I was gonna have to put my life on hold to help sort yours. But I was wrong. You can handle anything that comes your way.“

120, Written By: Thomas Pound, Jeff Hersh, Directed By: Danielle Panabaker

You say people will see me the way they see Superman one day, but... I don't want to be a hero like him. My cousin, he's so used to going it alone. He doesn't know any other way. But I do. I see it now. You, Winn, my sister, Ms. Grant, even. You've all showed me that."

56, Written by: Marc Guggenheim, Eric Oleson, Directed by: Glen Winter

Under our code, you have 12 hours to settle your affairs. The 13th hour, be at this place. This location is consecrated ground for the League. A place for the settlement of blood debts—if one survives the climb. If you do."

Can you explain all your OCs and worldbuilding in detail? I've always seen these beautiful drawings and sketches of your character is based on song lyrics and stuff, but I've never really figured out much from a cursory scroll of your blog
OKAY i'm gonna take this as an invitation to spill my guts abt my verses. so let me start by saying these get tweaked all the time, little details might change but generally once i settle on a plot it typically stays the same. And, for the most part, these are all outlines w scenes and A》B subject to change. BUT 👏
Honey Verse Compendium: Start!
Axe + Cleaver
》Agnes, Elle, Goliath, Angus, Euan, Odelia
Agnes Laroche is a theologian hellbent on writing an esssy of the Harlach Parish, a cult in a small town called Kencree. While searching for leads she meets Elle Sinclaire, a butcher in the Rhodes District of Kencree who specializes in. Less popular cuts for the smaller crowd. Elle points her in the direction of Goliath Abernathy, a former cult member and champion for the priestess Odelia Harlach.
As it turns out, the Harlach Parish is darker than Agnes imagined; members offer pieces of themselves to the priestess for her favor, trophies she collects in reliquaries. Her most favored happens to be an eye she keeps on a necklace, stolen from Goliath shortly before he left her court. As Agnes pokes around (meeting blacksmith Angus Reid and unwilling court member Euan Harlach), she catches Odelia's attention, who makes a bid to ensnare her in the cult. Outraged and fueled by old anger, Goliath finds his way into her church and a confrontation. He takes back his eye, steals documentation, and sets the church alight.
The town will take time to heal, but Odelia's death is everything she didn't want it to be: quiet and unremarkable, alone in a dark hall.
Flock
》Kaz, Valentine, Mozzwood, Gabriel, Neera
Years after a series of HEMP bombs take out tech worldwide, knowledge on agriculture and horticulture are considered scarce and precious. Kaz, a tractor driver, and Mozzwood, a variant of apex predator gone anxious, are traveling cross country looking for... something. Neither is quite sure yet. They meet a ghost from Kaz's past, a seed dealer and arsonist named Valentine. In a fight to understand their actions comes the revelation Valentine was a cult child-- one that burned down the church that kept them captive, and who continues to burn churches now. Its cleansing, they say.
During their journey, Valentine burns one more church, saving a single little girl named Gabriel. This event inspires a new direction for the group: a cross-country trek to find Kaz's mother and shelter with her.
From there, the story is a road trip. It comes with the ups and downs of having a family along for the ride, with the trials of tribulations that comes with adventuring across a post-apocalyptic land. But they find Kaz's mother, find a safe place with her, and build a home.
Red Heron
》Alec, Librarian, Johann, Kairos
The Red Heron Project is an experiment in body modification, its extreme and practical uses. Alec and the Librarian are abandoned projects, experiments deemed failed but just functional enough to keep in the program as archivists. They rarely receive visitors (there's often fights when they get them), and they like it just so. Its when the doctor Johann and their subject Kairos visit that things become strange.
Alec has never known much about the Librarian; they met in the archives and he's never seen the actual body behind the modification. It happens that Johann knows everything there is to know about the Librarian-- in fact, they're the one that made it. The question isn't so much where the body is as much as it is who has access to it? Certainly not Johann, and definitely not Alec. Not now that they're both considered failed experiments.
Now. How do they get the body back?
Farmer's Bible
》Eremiah, Garrett
This is admittedly my most threadbare concept. What I know is this:
Garrett is a priest in a small town beset by a plague, one which consumes the host via spore and mycelium. The host becomes feverish, then demented, then becomes a mushroom, and Garrett is sick to death of watching his people die. He sets out to find patient zero, tracking lead after lead, until he is brought back to his hometown, and the woods behind it. He finds patient zero there: a man named Eremiah, who keeps to himself and tends an infected farm.
Eremiah doesn't really know he's infected, and if he did he wouldn't much care, benefit of having a mushroom for a brain. The real trial for Garrett is whether it would sit right with him to kill a man like Eremiah, someone who just happened to wander into town with a bad cough.
Kor
》Adriana, Frogmouth, Grace, Andrew
Adriana spends her whole life blaming herself for the death of her best friend when she was a child. Wrought with grief and self-blame, she becomes skilled in ways she shouldn't and takes up work as a mercenary. Work eventually brings her home, where she meets a strange jester with the circus visiting town. She calls him Frogmouth when he won't say his name, but soon annoyance turns to fondness as he gives her a peek of his world. She takes up singing, something she hasn't done for years, and finds herself a new life within the tents. She can almost leave her grief behind like this. Almost.
Alas, work brings her to an audience with the duchess of the town and her advisor. In a breakdown of negotiations, a fight ensues, and Frogmouth finds himself at the center of it. He steps in to protect Adriana, but in the process loses his mask, shattering against the edge of a blade as it reveals the face of the elusive jester:
Adriana's childhood friend, Kor.
