Note
do you have any songs that remind you of kruegernikto?
I'm not good at this but I can quote ONE in particular : The Archer (Alexandra Savior). The lyrics could seem cheesy for such a ship, but seen thru Nikto's eyes it makes sense to me. Beautiful song btw. I love this singer.
And two more just because i didn't feel like answering with just one song: Ich Tu Dir Weh (Rammstein), and Insatiable (Iron Silver). The latter is a French-Gabonese metal group, and it's @modernghostfare who made me discover them by sending me this song captioned "kn lyrics" and he was right.

From Timber to Treasure: The Artisanal Process of Okoume Face Veneer Crafting
Tumblr media
In the realm of woodworking, the artisanal journey from timber to the creation of Okoume Face Veneer is a symphony of craftsmanship and natural beauty.
Harvesting Nature's Best: The process begins with carefully selecting Okoume logs, ensuring only the highest quality wood is chosen for its exceptional grain patterns and durability.
Precision in Peeling: The artistry unfolds as the logs undergo a meticulous peeling process, revealing thin veneer sheets that showcase the unique characteristics of Okoume wood.
Masterful Drying Techniques: These delicate sheets are then expertly dried, striking a balance to maintain strength and flexibility.
Enhancing Aesthetics: Skilled craftsmen employ cutting-edge techniques to enhance the wood's natural beauty, showcasing its grain in ways that captivate the eye.
Quality Assurance: Rigorous quality checks guarantee that each Okoume Face Veneer sheet meets the highest standards.
Gabonese Okoume Face Veneer emerges as a true treasure, ready to adorn and elevate any space in this intricate dance between craftsmanship and nature.

Braid art & photography: @hevedence
Edited by @jamie.lyne
.
Braiding is an ancestral art that has very cultural and ethnical roots, especially in Africa. I'm Gabonese and it is a part of my African identity and I made it my mission to show people the beauty within these strands of hair and that braids are not just a protective style: they are art pieces.
