Mortify - gabeyura 👀

"Were you trying to mortify me?" Nathalie's face was hidden behind her hands. "How can you expect me to go out there and comment on this?"

"Don't try to turn this around on me," Gabriel's anger made him uncomfortably warm, he'd been uncomfortably warm actually ever since he'd had Mayura pressed up against him, the softness of her a lingering like a phantom touch on his skin, "you're the one who thought it was a good idea to create a sentimonster that forced people to drop their transformations and used it on me!"

She dropped her hands, eyes wide with despair, "I thought you were Chat Noir!"

"Why would I be Chat Noir?1"

"Because he was chasing me and then there was a hand on my shoulder and-"

"It was me because I'd send that pest flying across the city to save you and you revealed my identity."

"At least no photographer caught that." She pressed her lips together.

"Thankfully. It's bad enough," he trailed off looking down at the photo on the tablet of himself from behind, Mayura's arms curling round his back, one over his shoulder and the other around her waist. Her face couldn't be seen obscured by his head but it was pretty clear why Gabriel Agreste was pushing Mayura against a wall.

"I just. Sir. Why did you kiss me?"

"I was trying to hide my face when I head people coming. Anyone could have put together what had happened had they seen us."

"Sir I don't think there's another man in Paris that does his hair like yours. Certainly not any that dress like you as well. We've, if everyone doesn't already think you're Hawk Moth they're going to think,"

"That I'm having an affair with Mayura. Well I'll have to admit it I suppose. The alternative is untenable."
