Naruto: He stared blankly at you, showing no emotion even after those words left your mouth.

“Are you serious? Because of a fight?” He stared at you. You blinked tears away as you stared back trying to stand your ground.

“I do.”

Naruto stares and just shakes his head. He’s frustrated, he’s angry, he’s irritated, but most of all he’s upset you even tried it. You two have been through hell and back and a random fight in the week is what’s going to break you? Absolutely not.

“What were we fighting about? Do you even remember because I don’t. That’s because it was stupid, the fight was so stupid and insignificant but that’s what’s going to break us up? No I won’t accept that.”

There’s no way in hell he’s going to let you go.

Sasuke: He fell back into the couch looking at you, his legs not being able to carry his weight as the words ‘I want to breakup’ came out of your mouth. He didn’t expect it to say the least, he thought you guys were fine, no he thought you guys were more than fine, he couldn’t believe this.

“No.” He stated simply. He looks at you, your arms are crossed and a confused expression falls upon your face.

“No? You can’t-”

“I said no. This isn’t something I’m willing to throw away. So no, hell no. We are going to work through this, we are going to get over this and then we are going to be fine. So that’s your answer.”

Sai: Seeing you crying like this is something he never wants to see again. Fighting is something he never liked doing with you and he tried to avoid it at all cost but this one just seemed unavoidable.

He looked at you while you were trying to make your peace with breaking up with him but he wasn’t listening to any of it, he couldn’t listen to it, he wouldn’t.

“I want to work things out with you…” he says in barely a whisper, he wasn’t even paying attention if you were still talking or not. “We’re good together so I don’t think that we should end things here.” He looks at you with worry etched on his face while you wipe the tears from your eyes just hoping that you would change your mind.

Shikamaru: “You want to break up?” He’s leaving back on the sofa looking at you as you stand across the living room adamant on breaking up with him. “You sure about that?”

“Yes.”

“How sure?”

“The words came out of my mouth didn’t they?”

“Yes but you never gave me a reason, why do you want to break up? You’re unhappy?” His gaze on you is unwavering and you’re struggling to keep your eyes on him.

“We fight too-”

“All couples fight, but we argue every now and then so that hardly counts as a fight.” You roll your eyes and Shikamaru continues on. “I don’t think you want to break up.” You scoff and he stands up and makes his way towards you. “You wanted to get a rise out of me because you don’t think I care because I fail to show you I care, am I right?” He’s toe to toe with you and watches as your face contorts into a frown. “But you know that’s not the case, that’s just the case you’re trying to convince me and yourself.”

“Fuck off Shikamaru.” You take a step back and he just follows with a step forward. You’re looking anywhere but at him at this point. He isn’t wrong and you hate how quickly he was able to read you. “I hate you.” You cross your arms and he just smirks knowing he won yet again.

Choji: Last nights fight is replaying in his mind over and over again. Both of your voices being raised at each other, the words that came out of both his and your mouth, and finally seeing you slam his door in his face when you left in a rush no longer wanting to deal with it. He doesn’t know what this means, he doesn’t know what any of this means. You left without a second glance and all that Choji can think of is if you two were still together or not.

Kiba: You told Kiba you needed to talk to him which didn’t make anything easier. You just need to say it and everything will be over. A simple sentence, you can do that. Just say you aren’t happy and don’t feel the same as you did in the beginning. It should be easier than this get here you are pacing back and forth in his bedroom and all Kiba could do is watch you and sigh. Of course he knew what was coming, Kiba knew you like the back of his hand and right now proves he knows you better than you even know yourself.

“You want to breakup, don’t you.” He says it simply, he took the words right out of your mouth and you slowly stopped pacing and looked down at your feet ashamed he even had to say it. He sighs again and nods understanding that there was no changing your mind.

Shino: You could feel your blood boil. He stared at you emotionless, nothing in him changed as you said you wanted to break up. This just confirms why you wanted to break up with him, he never fucking cared.

“Say something!” You yell at him, anger spilling out as you stared at him. His expression never changing, nothing in Shino changed even when you started to grab your things and started to walk out of his front door and eventually out of his life.

Neji: You don’t know who’s louder at this point, the poor neighbors next door having a full experience of your fight with Neji. Tears were being spilled along with every hurtful word that could be thought of. Sooner than you would’ve thought the words came tumbling out of your mouth in a shrill scream. “I’m done! I’m done Neji! It’s over!” His glare that was set on you softened until he looked at you in disbelief. He was silent for a moment before that hard look reappeared. “No.” He said.

“Yes Neji, I’m over it, I’m over us.”

“No-”

“No buts! I’m done!” You raise your voice again feeling another fight coming on. “We’re done.” You stand firm on your decision and even Neji can see there’s no going back.

“Okay.” He nods. “We’re done.”

Rock Lee: He’s staring across the table from you, listening to every word you’re saying, hating everything you’re telling him. You’re angry, he can see that. Hell, he’s seen it and hasn’t tried fixing anything or making anything right, but that’s his fault. You’ve shown signs that you’re unhappy but with every fight that you two had he never thought to fix that damage that’s clearly been done.

He listens to everything and finally speaks while looking you in the eyes.

“I think we can move past this but I can see that it might be too late for that.” He closes his eyes and sighs. “I don’t want to end things, I don’t want to lose you but if that’s what you want…then we’ll break up.”

Gaara: Your relationship with Gaara wasn’t bad, he was great, he was everything you’ve ever wanted and this is why it’s so much harder than you expected.

Tears started to fall which you quickly wiped away, there was no need to make it harder on him than needed to be. “I-I think that we…that we-” you sniff trying to catch your breath but more tears were falling and you were growing frustrated with yourself. “Dammit. Stop crying…” you mumble to yourself.

Gaara watches you as you have a battle within yourself. His heart breaks with every sob that comes out of your mouth, every tear that falls and with every word that stutters out. “It’s okay.” He says as he walks up to you, his hand tilting your chin up to look at him. Tears blurred your vision but that didn’t stop your heart from breaking. “I’m sorry.” You mutter out, breaking down in front of the boy who’s heart you had just ripped out.

He didn’t know why he felt like this, maybe it’s jealousy, maybe it’s the fact he wants to be the one kissing you instead of Gaara, but something in Naruto makes him avoid you from here on out. No more smiles at you when he passes you by in the village, no more inviting you out to eat whenever you got back from a mission, all he’ll give you is a cold shoulder because brushing you off and not seeing you is better than seeing you with his friend.

Sasuke: He scoffs out loud, he couldn’t help it, it might’ve slipped out and was a bit louder than he meant to but he still felt the same about it. You turn around facing away from Neji and raise an eyebrow at Sasuke.

“You don’t think anything will come from this do you?” Sasuke speaks before you can even question him. Your features soften after realizing what he’s said.

“What?”

“Don’t be stupid, love never works out for a shinobi, let alone when it’s between two of them. You’ll become distracted or dead.” His voice is harsh and his eyes are staring at you making you cower down. He huffs out a breath and walks past you and Neji who has stayed silent to this all. His words were harsh but he could never admit how he was feeling the moment he saw you kissing someone else.

Sai: Its easy not to show any emotion for him. No one ever knows what he’s thinking but that’s for the best, because seeing you and Kiba together did something to him that even Sai himself doesn’t understand. He doesn’t understand it, no, he can’t believe it. He can’t believe why you would want to kiss Kiba, you’ve never hinted at anything romantic towards him, you’ve always acted the same so why were you and Kiba kissing so casually as if it were normal? Sai’s mind was malfunctioning while he still had the same indifferent look on his face. Only he would deal with the thoughts that would fill his mind up, no one would ever know.

Shikamaru: Shikamaru never cared about much. He never cared about the useless relationships around the village because all that led to was drama and that was another headache he didn’t care to have. That was, until he saw you walking around with Lee. You were walking around with Rock mf Lee and Shikamaru couldn’t help but stop to watch you two. Nothing out of the ordinary until he sees you raise up on your tippy toes to quickly kiss Lee. Like some grade school kids you quickly walk the other direction while Lee sprints away with almost a gust of smoke following his heels. You not paying attention you run straight into Shikamaru.

“Oh! Sorry!” You look up and Shikamaru sees your cheeks are flushed and somehow he couldn’t help but find that annoying.

“So you and Lee? Really?” He looks down at you as you crane your neck up to meet his eyes. “You do know you could do better right?”

You look at him surprised. “What? Why would you-”

“I’m not bashing him, I’m just saying that I would be better.” He shrugs and walks off leaving you completely shocked in his response.

Choji: His mood would immediately change and it’s even worse because Choji wouldn’t be able to hide what was wrong to anyone. Just assume everyone around him could see a giant storm cloud following him around because that’s how obvious he would be. Right away, and I mean riiight away Ino, Shikamaru, and even random villagers would notice Choji’s change in demeanor. It’s not like he hated Sai, he just doesn’t understand why you of all people would like him. Sai was so out there, doesn’t seem to show any like or dislike towards anything or anyone other than his drawings he’d do. Then there was you, someone completely different and someone Choji really liked. Poor boy would be so sad for days on end.

Kiba: He stopped in his tracks once he saw his teammate kissing someone, he was more nosy than anything but once he saw who Shino was kissing Kiba just wished that he kept on walking. You looked behind his teammate and smiled at Kiba.

“Hi Kiba.” Your smile meets your eyes and Shino turns to nod at his friend. “What’re you doing?” You ask.

“Oh um…” he scratches the back of his head thinking. “I was going to get something to eat, did you guys-”

“Ooo! Let’s all get something to eat together!” You say excitedly while grabbing Shino’s hand. Shino just mumbles a ‘sure’ and you all make your way down.

Kiba smiles and walks beside you. The stinging in his chest still there but at the end of the day he can’t be selfish, he won’t be selfish, not when it comes to you and your happiness.

Shino: He never cared about you, you were just a simple shinobi who got brought along a few missions. He didn’t care about how happy you got once you perfected your jutsus’. He didn’t care about your life secrets whenever you let something slip about your past and the look on your face when you’d realize you said too much. He certainly didn’t care if you made it back alive from any solo missions and if you were a few days late from them either. At least, that’s what he’s going to say to himself whenever he sees you kissing Shikamaru goodbye every time you leave for your missions. Yeah, Shino totally doesn’t care about you at all.

Neji: He’s trying, he really is trying to think positively and for the best, but something about seeing you, the always cheerful and kind hearted girl with the likes of him, it just doesn’t sit well with Neji. He doesn’t know why or what caused you to be with Sasuke but Neji at the very least is trying to be happy for you. If you’re happy and being treated right by the sole Uchiha in the village Neji can at least make peace with that. At least that’s what he’s trying to convince himself ever since he saw you two together.

Rock Lee: It was out of the ordinary for him to feel this way, he would never say anything bad about his comrade, no never. He’d never say anything about you either, but his tongue moved faster than his brain could stop him and seeing your pained expression and the look his friend is giving him made Lee instantly regret the words that left his mouth.

“Wh-What did you just say?” You stumble on your words while Choji just sighs. You were always too nice, too forgiving. Lee didn’t deserve it, he knows that, Choji knows that, but you still didn’t.

Lee just shakes his head, mumbling an apology while walking away.

Gaara: He couldn’t help but frown, his face changing as he saw you and Naruto kissing, he wasn’t jealous, no he could never be jealous of his closest friend. He was happy for Naruto, but his emotions for himself were present and anyone could see it. He walks away and makes the long journey back to the Suna suddenly abandoning whatever reason he came to the leaf village in the first place

GAARA

gaara loves it when you push his hair up out or his forehead so you can plant a kiss on the kanji carved there. part of him was worried it’d make you uncomfortable- like you’d be put off by the fact that he put it there himself. not once did you show any adverse reaction to the marking, the story, or the meaning. you always accepted gaara. every part of him.

“missed you.” he hummed into the curve of your neck, holding you from behind. he had just gotten home from a drawn-out council meeting. poor boy, dealing with some of those personalities takes so much out of him. “i missed you too, cutiepie.” you always treat him like such a baby. he didn't hate the nickname, it was just so... lovey. sometimes a bit of a shock to hear. he'll admit it grew on him though. he loves whatever you call him- because it's you. “you hungry? ‘s almost done.” you wiggled, trying to escape his grasp so you could stir the veggie medley you had going on the stove. he relented, steps quieting as he disappeared to shed his vest on a rack and reappeared on the other side of the island counter, pulling out a stool to settle into.

you put extra care into making his plate, loading it with some extra meat and rice. not gonna let him get by without some veggies though. you set both your plates on the counter, shuffling around to sit on gaara’s left. he always waits.

you pull the plates towards the two of you and look to gaara with pride. “smells good,” he hums, snaking an arm around your side to pull you into a kiss, “thank you, lovely.” you beam, cupping his cheek to pull him into one too. one on the cheek, and one on the kanji. “thank me by eating your veggies this time.” you tease.

your focus is back on the food before you can notice the blush crawling up his face.

YAMATO

yamato can’t take it when you’ve got your fingers in his hair. he’s like a puppy, in a way. scritches, pets, brushes, all of it has got him instantly relaxing in your arms.

“morning, pretty lady.” you hear your husband rumble. ah, you’d fallen asleep. eyelashes flutter to find him, settling on his smooth, barely clothed figure above you, ruffling his hair with a towel. “mm. how long have you been home?” you murmur, the smell of eucalyptus and mint hitting your nose.

“not long. wanted to shower before i cuddled up to you,” he states, that sultry smooth voice washing over you. he tosses the towel to the side and is quick to get underneath your blanket. observant, this one is. he’s already got all the lights off, doors locked, showered and clean for you. just how you like it. you’re a sensitive sleeper- and a bit of a neat freak, always chewing him out for getting his “outside clothes” in the bed or under a blanket.

“mm. how was today?” you murmured, voice still coated in sleep. you pulled yourself up a tad and spread your legs, coaxing him to lay his head on your chest. “fine, mostly just surveillance.” his voice vibrates into your chest, “kakashi had us swap places though- he hates paperwork. always wants to make me do it.”

you can hear his pout. he hates it too. everyone does. and there is so much of it. “my poor baby,” you purr, pulling him further into an embrace. one hand caresses circles into his back, the other coming to rake through his hair. immediately, he sighs and the process of turning him to mush begins.

“mhmmm.” “yeah? you’re my poor baby?” “mm, sure.” “are you fallin’ asleep already?” “mmmmm… no.” amid your little scalp massage, your nails scratch with just the smallest bit of extra pressure, warranting a tiny cry. “what was that for?” he fusses. “lyin’ to me.” “mm-mm. not sleepin’- just comfortable. missed my wife.” the sudden intimate confession makes your heart skip a beat. “hehe- i missed you too, sweetheart.” your fingers go back to combing through each damp strand, coming down to scritch his sideburns and the nape of his neck. he’s practically purring.

enough time has passed for you to assume he’s knocked out on top of you, and before sleep makes you their next victim- you curl in slightly to leave a kiss on the top of his head, running your thumb over the patch before you lay back down. before you can- hooded inky eyes look up to you expectantly. needy man. another kiss, this time on the forehead. you think you’re cute, teasing him this way. with a huff he’s lifting himself up, hovering over you to give you a short-lived kiss on the lips before he’s setting himself down, this time nestled on your shoulder.

such a pampered man. you don’t mind it. his neediness was something you came so close to losing. with that thought you can’t help but squeeze him closer, resting your cheek on the top of his head.

KAKASHI HATAKE

kakashi loves it when you offer to shave his face for him. when you waddle into the bathroom to brush your teeth, just to be greeted by his foamy face- the way your eyes widen with aggravation is the funniest thing to him.

“why didn’t you ask me?” you pout, setting yourself up on the counter in front of him with a huff. “thought you were gettin’ ready for bed.” he hums smugly, relinquishing the single-blade razor to you as you grip the underside of his chin. “not goin’ to bed without you. ‘s quicker when i do it for you too.” your annoyance quickly fading and being replaced by concentration. so cute, he thinks, watching your brows furrow and lips slightly part while you focus on the left side of his face.

he’s in bliss, letting you tug his jaw, chin, ear, whatever it may be, to get at every angle. getting bitched at and manhandled by your pretty little self while he gets to squeeze at your hips and butt? a dream come true.

he doesn’t want it to end, heart stuttering at the feeling of you shifting beneath his grasp and the sound of the razor getting folded in on itself and set down. ‘nooooo…’ he quietly whines, reaching out for you and making the most pathetic grabby hands. grown ass man, by the way.

“quit fussing,” you giggle a bit- quit, you’re supposed to be mad at him. you grab a small washcloth from the rack of neatly folded towels, turning back to his smug little face watching your every move. so annoying, you roll your eyes. you love his attention.

you beckon him to lean over after wetting the cloth. you wipe his face with warm water so gently- like he’s gonna break underneath your touch. it’s nice. you’re gentle with him. so so gentle. “looks good.” you hum. “always looks good when you do it.” he hums back. “you’ve not even looked.” “don’t gotta. i know you always do good.” so cheeky. you use the hands you have on his face to turn him to the vanity mirror. “see? jus’ like i said. always looks good.”

it really does. kakashi’s looking at himself like he’s the hottest guy he’s ever seen. honestly, he probably is. little twerp. you won’t admit it, but the praise he mumbles while he admires your work is going right to your head.

after you pat the alcohol into his skin and give him a kiss for enduring it like a ‘big, strong man’ you’d coo in the most demeaning tone, you’re finally able to brush your teeth. kakashi is in heaven this entire time, unable to keep his hands off you and definitely unable to keep his eyes off.

the nighttime routine the two of you share is one of the best parts of kakashi’s day. he makes that fact known when he’s sleeping outside during a mission and wailing over the fact that his face feels dirty or dry. bless his teammates. though, it’s less the actual routine and more you being there with him during it all. taking care of him.

before you know it you’re being scooped up in his arms and lightly tossed into the bed. he’s just so full of feelings- feelings for you. others may not have guessed it (they probably have with how much he whines when he's away from you,) but this man is such a sap.

Sasuke, usually distant and distrustful of other people's emotions, would have a somewhat neutral reaction on the surface, but with a slight hint of internal confusion. As someone who keeps his feelings under control, the fact that the person he likes is a girl would not radically change his feelings. However, he would probably feel a mix of surprise and frustration for not having realized it sooner. At first, he might think he was tricked or that, somehow, something about their relationship had been a lie, but those thoughts would fade quickly.

"It doesn't matter if you're a boy or a girl... Why didn't you tell me from the beginning?" he asked, his expression serious but curious.

The idea that the person he likes has been pretending to be a boy might make him feel even more isolated or confused, but he wouldn't take it personally. After all, the emotions of others have always been a mystery to him. However, upon discovering the truth, he would probably feel a sense of relief and happiness, because, in his heart, his affection for that person wouldn't change, and he would also learn something more about her.

"Why lie? But... it doesn't matter. It's you, in the end." He said with a soft and slightly more relaxed expression—something he doesn't often show.

naruto uzumaki

Naruto, always a bit clumsy and emotionally honest!, would likely have a reaction ranging from total surprise to shock. Although he might initially feel a bit offended by the lie (feeling deceived), his love and affection for that person would not change. He might make embarrassing comments or joke about it to ease the tension, but deep down, the important thing is that what he feels for her is genuine. In the end, he would probably be happier to know the truth and would continue to have feelings for her.

Rock Lee, a pure-hearted guy, would be greatly surprised, but he would likely feel even more excited to realize that his feelings are reciprocated. He might be a little confused at first, as the idea of his crush posing as a boy would challenge his view of sincerity and honor. However, after the initial shock, Lee would probably embrace the situation with positivity and determination. Being an incurable optimist, the revelation would make him see things in an even grander light.
