Gilbert G.P. Guilford's Character & Personality

Gilbert is a twenty-seven-year-old man who's the personal knight to the Second Princess of Britannia. He also leads the Glaston Knights. Gilbert is a confident staunch towards his princess. With unwavering loyalty, he has ferocious dedication to her. Thus, Gilbert has personally risked his life on several occasions to protect his princess. In fact, his love for her is greater than his loyalty to his country. Since Gilbert states his justice lies with his princess, he'll gladly fight his homeland if commanded. Beyond this, he doesn't appear to be particularly concerned with the rampant racism in the Britannian army regarding Elevens and treats former Japanese on his side with respect. Gilbert is also quick-witted and intelligent. He'll make swift use of protocol to step in for the good of his country in his Princess' absence, taking charge as steward of Area 11 following the death of its Governor. Gilbert is a first-rate Knightmare frame pilot, able to hold his own against enemies.

Many of you may not know this but currently I am 38 weeks pregnant. Im just about due and will be taking maternity leave for 12 weeks.

So for 12 weeks I won't have anything to do except for carr for the baby. Yes, I know how time consuming that will be with two hour eat schedule, diapers, crying, needing me, ect. But there will be some down time for me, and because of the Rona I won't even be able to leave my home.

Soooooo....

I want to slip back into RP so I dont go crazy. Just away t o step out of my world. This goes for all of my muses.

Two Drabble(t)s

Guilford/Cornelia (Code Geass)

I.

He had never seen her shed a single tear for their fallen comrades.

Later, he’d learned it was only because he wasn’t close enough to.

When he had finally earned the right to stand by her side, war already hardened her.

II.

She keeps him alive through small gestures.

A small smile, barely there but to him, the brightest, because there aren’t enough of them; when she addresses him, “my Knight,” out or in the heat of battle, reminding him of his place, his responsibility; when she calls for him and asks him a favor — which she has every right to do, but he loves knowing that he is useful to her; when the room begins to empty and only the two of them are left, she leans back and relaxes into her chair with a tired sigh — it warms him that she can drop her guard around him; when he jumps in front of her Gloucester and she tells him that she is not giving him the leave to die, “Yes, Your Highness.”

He likes to think that she talks to him in a different voice: softer, lower, special.

Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking.

I'm still reviewing Code Geass during my spare time, and let me tell you how a lot of small details really went over my head back when I first saw it a decade ago.

For instance, this quote.

I'M SORRY? WHAT?!

I genuinely thought Gilbert G.P. Guilford is just another guy who can't get girls or be bothered to look at them, because he's just too focused on his princess. But then, Cornelia said this in R1 Episode 10 (Guren Dances).

I made it my day's mission to review fanfictions and discussion boards, but I haven't encountered any that included this small detail.

GILBERT G.P. GUILFORD HAS WOMEN. NOT WOMAN. WOMEN.

It's so easy to forget that he's actually a healthy man in his late twenties. Plus, he's Britannian. He literally lives in a country that has an Emperor with so many wives, we get all these princes and princesses, who- when lined up together- looks like a complete color spectrum.

We should probably quit writing Guilford as a virginal knight.

Hiatus Update

I am SLOWLY getting back into Rping

I am only doing on Muse right now and that is Pietro Maximoff (MCU)

For those of you who do not know. In July my husband and I lost our son. There were complications while I was in labor. The last couple 6 months have been alot of up and downs.

I am starting to feel like me again.

Slowly I plan to get more of my muses active.

However, right now I'll just be doing one. I get over whelmed easily now (even though I try really hard not to)

When I feel more comfortable I will update this.

More Guilnelia Headcanons

I think two hc or so are similar to other ones I shared before, just with some differences. But I wanted to include them here anyways.

> Guilford is kind of like a secretary. He has a notebook which is filled just with her appointments, so she just has to ask him if she wants to know about her schedule.

> His biggest dream, apart from serving her of course, is to save her. One time in his life he wants to rescue and princess-carry her.

> Darlton had a feeling that the two of them would become a couple. And he supports this ship to 101%. Sometimes he watches them from a far and just smiles.

> Guilford has a Cornelia body pillow (Don't try to deny it. We all know it's true!) One day he just sits in his office, drinking coffee and writing a report like he usually does, when Cornelia storms in.

"Gilbert G.P. Guilford!", she yells at him, "What the hell is that?!".

The knight looks up and sees his princess with the body pillow. And in that exact moment he regrets all his life decisions. "Uhhh...I-I", he stutters and starts sweating nervously.

"You're such a pervert!"

> She absolutely loves playing with his hair or combing it. It's just so soft and silky. Sometimes she even likes to style it. So he then sits in the meeting with two cute pigtails, which are decorated with bows. Everyone is looking at him and Cornelia just smiles.

> Cornelia is sick and refuses to stay at home, because work is too important for her. Of course Guilford is against that. He wants his princess to recover.  And so an argument starts between them.

At first she tries to deny that she's even sick, but after he insists that she has a high fever, she quickly lets go of that thought. Instead she starts to argue that she is a grown woman and can decide herself if she can go or not. But he won't change his mind.

At one point she has enough and just walks out of the room, in the direction of her office, followed by him. When she's there, she just sits down, starts to work, completely ignoring him.

But Guilford has a plan already. He teams up with Darlton and together they set it in motion.

A few hours later, Cornelia walks through the hallway and is stopped by Darlton, who begins talking to her. In that moment Guilford sneaks up behind her, lifts her up and carrys her back to her bedroom.
