G/t stuff for L1sa rpg SPOILERS up to part 3 below [Dark stuff and Gore warning for those unfamiliar with the game]

Lisa the Shiftful if you will
Buzzo story stuff post
Alright so in this AU pre flash everything is pretty much the same, BUT the flash made it so all males are shifters who primarily stay normal size because the second they turn small they might get ambushed, it's dangerous in Olathe.
Females however are tiny (anyones that are left by any chance shrunk.)
Beehive might actually be a safe zone to shift as one pleases. Queen Roger makes sure of that. And some villages I suppose!
Psst Smol tower of power training and big Wally Menu, ft. Smaller Columbo vibing on top of his deer
Tiny Buddy and Big Rando...
With hurt Rando per usual watching over the campfire and protecc... Buddy is still on the previous goal. Yado might even be small half of the time cause he can afford that risk. Except for the trumpet sessions ofc.

Who is Dr.Shaggy?
Tumblr media
A Robloxia's well known Black market business man, where anyone can buy any of his robots for security or restless hard workers currently expanding his goods with resources out of the laminax labs. He's a pompous smug that will tell all the reasons he's better than you, he is somewhat civilized and friendly towards his customers and people he is close with unlike any foes or enemies where he takes a psychotic cruel behaviour and won't hesitate to show them how powerless they are against him. His personality is built from evil scientists and low moral characters from Videogame media. Here's the list of characters he's based off: Dr. Robotnik / Dr. Eggman (Sonic series) Dr. Wily (Megaman series) Porky Minch (Mother/Earthbound series) Kefka Palazzo (Final Fantasy 6) Medic (Team Fortress 2) Dr. Yado (LISA: The Painful and LISA: The Joyful). Other characters that really don't build his personality much : Shaggy (Scooby Doo) (Food enjoyment and hairstyle) Jon Arbuckle (Garfield) (Food expertise) Spamton G. Spamton (Deltarune) (Customer friendliness) The Once Ler (The Lorax) (Attire).

A List of Reasons the Bunker Shouldn't Get A Sofa: by lizbobjones (5.6k, T, destiel) Let me count the ways that this is a terrible idea.
like moses and batman and james dean by saltyfeathers (31.6k, E, destiel, underage prostitution) dean used to turn tricks. over a decade later, he met cas.
Broadway Musical by Griftings (12.4k, M, destiel) This is the day that marked the Holy and Blessed Union of Dean Winchester and Jo Harvelle. The merging of prominent bloodlines is always a grand occurrence, but breeding pedigree hunter families like Winchester and Harvelle is something to be rejoiced. It is also something to be meticulously planned, which thankfully the Host is very good at. Or, the romantic comedy where Dean Winchester and Jo Harvelle are destined to get married, Castiel is given the task of playing matchmaker and fails terribly, the entire Heavenly Host becomes a sitcom audience, God warns against male pregnancy, and Jimmy Novak is incredibly unimpressed with angels in general.
Someone Who's Feeling For Me by ellispark (45.9k, M, destiel)  Dean sees her for the first time in nearly six years in some no-name town in Idaho, and it's panic at first sight. Lisa Braeden, the one woman Dean ever actually had a shot at a real life with, back from where he buried her in his mind. And her hand is on Cas's arm like it's no big deal, like it belongs there. Cas, Dean's dorky, sweet, badass, angelic best friend, and he's just standing there next to Lisa and not moving her hand away. Dean feels the jealousy rising, and it's not directed where he expected it to be. Because it takes this exact moment for Dean to realize he's in love with his best friend. He's in love with his best friend, and Lisa is looking at Cas like he's the best thing since automatic rifles, and Dean is utterly fucked.
Build a Home by domesticadventures (20.1k, T, destiel, saileen) After they save the world, Dean expects Cas to come back to the bunker with them.He doesn’t.
Eat, review, love by Englandwouldfall (137.4k, T, destiel, sam/jess, abuse, internalized homophobia) The one where uninspired chef Dean Winchester has a one night stand with the male (!) food critic who described the flavour of his garlic bread as 'closeted' and accidentally ends up dating him to try and prove that he's a kick ass chef, thank you very much.(He may have a point about the 'closeted' thing).

All Might’s Secret Love Child by JustGettingBy (3.2k, G, gen) Todoroki is the one to ask, but he’s far from the only one to suspect. AKA  How the rumour of Midoriya being All Might’s secret son spread through class 1-A (and beyond).
in any version of reality by redrobin1989 (3.7k, G, gen) A villain with the ability to rewrite life changing moments tries to prevent Deku's rise by altering All Might's fateful meeting with a quirkless fan. But some paths are not easily diverted and some fates cannot be rewritten. In every reality, Yagi Toshinori will always find and choose Midoriya Izuku.

One, Two, And Step by Haicrescendo (4k, G, gen)  [Fire Lord Azulon doesn’t dance. He doesn’t dance and none of the other royals dance and none of the nobles dance, and definitely no one dances in public. Not in the Caldera.
That doesn’t mean, sometimes, that Mama doesn’t do it. Sometimes, after a public event or celebration, when she hassles both of her children off to bed, she’ll sweep them by turn into a loose, uncoordinated waltz in the halls. Even Azula, the perfect little model of their father, gets caught up in Mama’s joyful mood to throw away her mantle of perfection and throw her hands into the air, whirling and turning like a firework. Zuko grabs onto Mama’s hands, letting her spin him around and tug him close into a hug by turns.]
Or,
A story told in footsteps.

daisies - Roses Mixtape Pt II
Tumblr media
here’s another playlist to reflect the songs on Roses Mixtape Pt II, enjoy x
a/n: I’ve also linked both YouTube and Spotify x
Tumblr media
tracklist
1. Intro: Sounds - Seokjin, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook & y/n (ft. Rosé & Jisoo) = Wild Thoughts - DJ Khaled, Rihanna & Bryson Tiller
The sexy upbeat vibe and guitar riffs from Maria Maria would go perfectly in a song for vocal line like I can just imagine their voices sounding amazing. Sounds would be very similar to Wild Thoughts with message and topic as well as the actual sound of the song itself, lots of sexy summery vibes. I also put Rosé and Jisoo on this song because a) gang shit and b) vocals.
2. Aphrodite - Jimin & y/n = Acquainted - The Weeknd
The Weeknd’s beautiful harmonies and big notes in this song would be perfect for Jimin and y/n, and the focus of Aphrodite would be the same as Acquainted; sex, lmao. It would basically be Jimin singing about how y/n is his Aphrodite but they both get the feeling that the relationship won’t work out and its foundations are the physicality they share.
3. Shots - Yoongi, Hoseok & Namjoon ft. Jennie = Or Nah - Ty Dolla Sign ft. The Weeknd, Wiz Khalifa & DJ Mustard
Shots is straight up about sex. Like no metaphors or wordplays here, they straight up talk about sex in the song, just like in Or Nah. It’s got the same sexy dark vibe with fire bars, and this song also give Jennie the opportunity to show that she’s not this good little girl that YG make her out to be; she’s a grown woman and she ain’t afraid to show it.
4. Lingerie - Hoseok, Taehyung & y/n = Sin Pijama - Becky G & Natti Natasha
Lingerie is very much similar to Sin Pijama; just as sexy, just as fire, just as fun and upbeat. I felt like Tae and Hobi would definitely suit this kind of song and they would definitely be speaking in Spanish too, as well as y/n. It’d also be about the same thing, but I think a lot less explicit than Sin Pijama.
5. Mi Amor - Yoongi & Jimin = Suit & Tie - Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z
The word that comes to mind when I think about what Mi Amor would sound like is slick, and Suit & Tie is nothing if not slick. The old-school RnB vibes would suit Jimin and Yoongi so well and the whole message of the song just suits them both so well too like the suit and tie, the subtle dominance over their other half, the smart, slick retro vibes; the song just scream Jimin and Yoongi to me. I also put these two on a song together because they’re both singing to the same girl so it made it easier when they were writing because they were more on the same page than Jimin realised sksks.
6. On Lock - y/n ft. Rosé = Low Key - Mabel
The old-school RnB vibes from this song makes me think of y/n too, and I thought it’d be unusual to have as her solo song dedicated to Jimin as its message isn’t what you’d expect, but it also screams y/n to me. Rosé would also bring in some pretty harmonies and adlibs in the background so that the song for y/n herself is quite simple and doesn’t put too much pressure or strain on her for high notes, giving the song quite a chill and relaxing vibe.
7. Promise - Jimin = Say It - Tory Lanez
Again, I thought this song would be very unusual to have as Jimin’s solo song dedicated to y/n, but it appealed to me a lot because the whole vibe makes me think of Jimin. He’d be fantastic on an RnB song like this, and the pretty notes and harmonies would suit his voice so well. I think it also reflects Jimin’s mindset at times; he has his walls up quite high and so questions people’s true intentions a lot due to a lack of trust, asking y/n to make a promise to him about her love for him, which is the exact feeling I get from Say It.
8. Lights - Seokjin, Namjoon & Taehyung ft. Jisoo & Jennie = Love Galore - SZA ft. Travis Scott
I really feel like Seokjin, Namjoon and Taehyung’s solo music (Awake, Mono and Stigma/Singularity) combined would produce this kind of vibe. The sad reminiscent vibe of Seokjin’s, the gentle bars from Namjoon’s and the RnB sound from Taehyung’s really makes me think that, together, it’d produce the Alt RnB sound that Love Galore has. And Jisoo and Jennie had to be on this song because we stan Kim siblings.
9. 24 - Jimin & y/n = Side to Side - Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj
Basically, y/n and Jimin like to have sex. A lot. And Side to Side is about sex. A lot of it. That’s it. That’s literally it. Okay, no, it’s not. So the strong pop vibes from Side to Side wouldn’t exactly suit y/n and Jimin as well as RnB or ballads do, but it would show off their versatility and also the fun side of their relationship. Combine Acquainted and Side to Side together, and you’ve literally got y/n and Jimin’s relationship.
10. Vibes - Hoseok, Jimin, Jungkook & y/n ft. Lisa = Confident - Justin Bieber ft. Chance The Rapper
If you don’t think Confident would suit dance line, you’re a liar. The song Confident, whilst being about a confident girl, radiates confidence from the singer themselves, and dance line themselves radiate confidence onstage. They’d be something to watch performing Vibes onstage. The mix of genres between RnB and hip-hop would be perfect for dance line, and Lisa is on the song because have you seen that girl dance? Like, imagine them all performing it together.
11. Babygirl - Seokjin & Jungkook ft. Jisoo = Her Way - PARTYNEXTDOOR
I know it’s a very unpopular opinion but I think RnB suits Jin and Jungkook really well, and this song is pure RnB. Jisoo would do the adlibs and harmonies (along with Jungkook because that boy can’t breathe without making it an adlib or harmony) and it’d just have a super sexy and beautiful vibe. Partynextdoor’s voice also really reminds me of Jungkook’s when he goes high so I can just imagine him on this song, and Jin’s confidence and cockiness would go so well with this song.
12. Outro: Good - Namjoon, Jimin & y/n = Sativa - Jhene Aiko ft. Rae Sremmurd
y/n=Jhene Aiko, Jimin=Swae Lee and Namjoon=SlimJxmmi. Listen to the song and tell me you disagree, and I’ll tell you you’re wrong. This song is one of my favourites of all time and y/n, Jimin and Namjoon on this song together would be pure perfection. Good talks about the sex and drinking and drugs just like Sativa, and definitely has the same RnB vibes. Jimin’s voice would be so subtle and gentle in this, a lot closer to the choruses of Serendipity than to anything else in the sense that it doesn't demand much, just as it is with y/n except for the harmonies during the chorus (not that they’re particularly difficult or straining either). Namjoon’s rap would fit into this song just to make that bit less relaxed and chill, and more lit and hype, giving it that perfect balance that RnB songs have. But the overall gentle and calm vibe of the song makes it the perfect outro and also sums up y/n and Jimin’s relationship really well.

REQUEST: Hii 👋🏼 if your requests are open I wanted to request a Taehyung scenario. So, Taehyung being the popular guy of school (cliche I know lol) and the reader being the discret one in school but y/n ended up in a wheelchair bc of an accident and people find it easy to bully her/him bc if her/his state and at first Taehyung weren't paying attention but he stood up for her/him at some point and they end up liking each other. This is the plot but you can change it if you want Thanks xxx
a/n: I really wanted this story to be as realistic as possible, so that anyone who is or was in a wheelchair could relate easily. Pls understand that I’m not in situation where I know a lot about the disability, but I tried to do my researches. Hope you enjoy !!
Pairing: Taehyung x Reader
Genre: A lot of angst; Fluff
WARNING: Mention of PTD and bullying
Tumblr media
Taehyung captured joy in his beautiful smile, in a way that attracted people to him. almost like a magnet. He smiled genuinely, with cute wrinkles that adorned the contour of his half-moon eyes with a warm, joyful laughter that you could hear from a mile away. It would echo through the halls of the school and could cheer anyone up, even the most stressed student.                                        Every girl was attracted by him, because he had the kind of look that stopped you in your tracks. He was slim, muscular, with an almost perfectly symmetrical face. His eyes were wide and bold - like those of a child, while his hair was brown and messy, furled down the nape of his neck with a fringe that covered his forehead.                                                                                                           His personality was as good as his looks, thanks to his extroverted way of speaking to other people.
No one really knew much about Taehyung’s private life because he liked to keep his business by himself - the only ones who knew him perfectly were his best friends. They didn’t have all the same age, some of them weren’t even students in his school, because they’d already graduated, but he was always with to other guys. One was called Jimin and they were in the same class, the other one was Jungkook, a couple of years younger than them.                                          Jungkook and the other two had met as soon as Jungkook begin his first year after moving from his hometown with his family. Jimin found out thanks to some other people that they were born in the same city, so they became friends. Taehyung be-friended Jungkook instantly as well after realizing that the two of them had a lot of passions in common, such as video games and music - so it wasn’t a surprise to anyone that the three of them became inseparable.
This trio was pretty popular around school, because Jimin and Jungkook were pretty handsome as well. Every girl drooled over them and tried to follow them around like lost puppies with dreamy and hopeful eyes, but being with one of them, Taehyung in particular, could extremely difficult.                                           He had one rule that kept up his mysterious facade and that attracted girls to him even more: He didn’t do relationships, he only slept around.
The other guy students didn’t understand what was his secret, how could he managed to be liked from every girl without even trying? No matter how they tried, Taehyung always rejected every confession with an apology and a smile that somehow healed a little the wound of his rejection from the girls’s heart.
No one thought that there was a girl capable of breaking that unbreakable rule of his, not even him.
But that was until he laid his eyes on you for the first time.
You were cold, even with your sweater and your coat on, but that didn't mattered. The day was illuminated with that special cold, pale light only winter's Sun could give, and the rain from the night before made everything glow with a really slippery ice. It was clear that if it rained that night again, it would fall snow instead of water from the sky. It was the perfect day for staying home, but you had to exit from your house because duty was calling and you had to go to school like every other morning. Your hands were wrapped around the cold wheels of your wheelchair as you travelled down the halls of your school, looking forward to start your last day of class before the beginning of Christmas break. Everyone was extremely excited about it, and you could tell that your friend Lisa was too after seeing how her lips lifted upwards when she walked up to you.
“Y/n! Aren’t you happy? Today is the last day!” She squealed shaking your shoulders, making you chuckle at her excitement.
“Yeah, that’s cool.” You responded her with a not-so-excited tone that resulted in a frown formed on her face.
“Are you okay?” She asked you puling your wheelchair, helping you getting in front of your desk.
You took a couple of books out of your backpack, puffing as she looked at you with questioning eyes.
“I haven’t slept tonight.” You said and she sat next to you, giving you all of her attention.
“Did you had nightmares again?” She asked, a little hint of worry on her voice.
“Yeah, it wasn’t that bad though, just the same scene over and over again.” You explained and she couldn’t help but to hug you, warming you up a little.
“You should’ve called me babe, you know that I always pick up your calls. She mumbled against your hair.
“It was late, you were probably sleeping.”
“No I wasn’t.” She stopped you as you spoke.
“I’m dancing until late nowadays.” She said making you smile.
“You finally decided to do it?” You said, happy about her little confession. Ever since you had that incident, Lisa talked cautiously around you, worried that she might have upset you talking about activities that required the capability of walking, such as dancing or doing sports, but you really didn’t care that much.
Sure, you have been devastated for a while, but now you were better and you wanted her to be as comfortable as possible around you, just like before anything happened.
“Yeah, a friend of mine started to take classes and asked me if I wanted to go with him. I said yes because I was willing to try.”
“You made the right choice.” You replied, smiling as she jumped out of excitement.
“God I can’t believe that it’s almost Christmas already! What are you going to do during break?” She asked you keeping that big smile of hers stamped on her face.
“I’ll just rest, watch some movies and maybe going out to get some fresh air. What about you?”
“My dad said that we’re going on a trip, I don’t really know where.” She spoke, getting interrupted by the sound of the door closing and the professor greeting all the students in the room,
“I’m sorry that I can’t stay with you.” She whispered, opening her book while the teacher started explaining.
“Don’t worry too much about it.”
“Did you know that the cheerleader was rejected yesterday?” Lisa said while pulling your chair from your class to another after the previous hour had ended.”
“No way.” You laughed at what she said, as if she had said one of the most hilarious jokes you have ever heard.
“I’m not joking. She confessed to Kim Taehyung after the party but he said no in front of everyone. Apparently they slept together but it didn’t mean anything to him.” She continued taking and you looked at her with a disgusted face.
“What an asshole.” You mumbled making her nod.
“I mean, he’s an asshole with a kind personality.” She said making you laugh once again.
“I didn’t know that fuckboys could be kind.” You responded crossing your arms against your chest.
“He just doesn’t like to date - I can understand him a bit. Maybe no one is his type.” You stayed silent at her words, uncertain on what to say.
You knew who Taehyung was because everyone talked about him and his friends around school - They all said that he was one of the most caring person in the whole world, but how could such a person mock a girl by rejecting her in front of everyone be a nice guy.
It seemed like an asshole to you.
Taehyung kept walking around the hallways with Jimin and Jungkook by his side while watching the small flocks of snow descend from the gray sky.        The backyard was covered in a thick blanket of white - footpsteps and paws printed around the cold grass. It seemed ike a storm was about to come, judging by the dark color that the sky was forming above the ground.
“It was good, I had a lot of fun.” Jungkook’s voice awakened Taehyung into reality, after he lost himself in thoughts - looking outside of the window.                 He was answering to a question that Jimin had asked previously.
“What?” He asked entering their conversation.
“My dance class, it was good.” He repeated putting his hands inside of the hoodie’s pockets.
“God, why is it so cold today? Isn’t the heating on?” Jimin muttered as he walked with his hands inside the long sleeves of his shirt.
“I don’t know, I just want this day to end so that I can go back home and sleep until the break is finished.” Taehyung said, making the other two chuckle.
The three of them kept talking for a while - walking lazily around the school when a yell broke the peace that surrounded them. They looked at each other curiously, peeking around the corner to see where the sound came from.
“Lisa for fucks sake, calm down!” You were pulling back Lisa with both your hands, as she stranded protectively and angrily in front of you, with red face and furious eyes.
“What the fuck it’s wrong with you?!” She yelled at a guy that was standing a couple of feet apart from her, with a chilling stand and a mocking look in his face.
“What? It’s not my fault if she was just standing in the way.” He said with a sarcastic laugh - tons of books were sprained on the floor.
It didn’t take much to realize that the guy had knock over all the things that you were carrying on your lap.
“She fucking wasn’t asshole, you pushed her intentionally!” She continued to yell and the boys decided to step out.
Jungkook was the first to speak.
“Lisa?” He asked and the girl with blond hair and bangs turned around.
“Do you know her?” Jimin asked him curiously.
“We danced together” He answered looking in your direction.
“What’s going on?” Jungkook asked making the guy snort annoyingly.
“He fucking pushed Y/n while walking and he knocked everything on the floor.” She explained as the three boys walked towards them.
As everyone spoke, Taehyung couldn’t help but look at you.
You were just sitting there with an unpleasant look on your face - you almost looked bored and that made Taehyung’s blood boiled up. Were you just silent because it was something that happened frequently? How could anyone treat you this badly?
As his eyes laid on you, he started to feel a weird sensation that he never felt before. When he looked at you it was as if every ounce of breath was taken from his lungs at the sight of your immense beauty. The butterflies that he had inside his stomach were flattering up and down the more he stared at you, at your mesmerizing eyes that were focused on the scene that your friend was making in the middle of the hallway.
“I..I don’t care, let’s just go..” You said with a fragile voice that made Taehyung’s heart break in half. He couldn’t just stare at them without doing nothing.
“Dude, that’s messed up.” Jimin said walking up to you and Lisa.
“Why are you interfering? It was just a thing between me and the crippled.” The guy said without taking off that mocking smile on his face.
As the boy spoke, Taehyung started to feel angrier than before - He had white knuckles from clenching his fist too hard, and gritted teeth from effort to remain silent.
“Don’t fucking call her that.” Taehyung muttered angrily making all of the students present turn towards him.
You looked up at him with wet, surprised eyes.
The other guy chucked.
“What are you gonna do? I didn’t call you a crippled, I called her a crippled so it’s none of your fucking business.” He continued but Taehyung wasn’t feeling like remaining silent anymore.
“I swear to god, if you fucking talk to her like that again, I’ll break you in half.” He got closer to him but the boys got in the way.
“Tae calm down.” Jimin and Jungkook put a hand on his shoulder to stop him but Taehyung was having none of it.
Lisa was now gathering all your books in her hand, picking them up for you but the guy decided to be an asshole until the end.
We a movement of his leg, he kicked your wheelchair, making you slam against the lockers that you had behind, making everyone gasp - everyone but you.
With a jump, Taehyung attacked the guy slamming him against the floor - throwing punches at him while the boys tried to stop him.
You could feel your breath getting unsteadier at the stress that all that situation was causing and Lisa was quick to notice that.
She tried to talk to you in order to distract you but the only thing that you could see was the image on Taehyung on the floor with blood on his hands and the body of the other guy under him.
When your skin went as pale as your eyes, Lisa understood that you were about to clock out in front of that scene.
“Taehyung! Stop!” She screamed for him and he turned around, along with the other two boys.
The guy took the opportunity to run away with a bloody nose and two soon-to-be black eyes from the ferocity of Taehyung.
“Help me bring her out of here, she needs fresh air.” Lisa pointed out your state to the boys and Taehyung was the first to move, picking you up by himself as the others followed him close behind.
“Do you have a car? We need to lay her somewhere.” She continued and Jungkook spoke up.
“Yeah, we can use mine.” Tae went out, holding you close to his chest so that you could be warm enough as Jungkook took out the keys of the car.
Your eyes were still open but you felt sleepy, almost as if you could doze off at any second. Lisa opened the car door for Taehyung and he went in cautiously, making you lay in the backseat with your head on his lap.
He took off his jacket, putting it on your lap to keep you warm enough and you looked up at him as the others came inside as well.
“I heard a thunder, maybe it’s better if we go home. She can lie in a bed.” Jungkook said taking the driver seat.
Lisa seated besides him nodding at his offer and Jimin agreed as well, sitting in the backseat with your legs on your lap.
Taehyung started caressing your hair with his bloody hand, looking worryingly at you a cut on his forehead.
“I’m sorry, I should’ve fought him. I didn’t know that you could start to panic.” He said and you smiled faintly at his words.
“That’s okay..thank you for standing up for me.” You replied making him smile.
Ever since you arrived at home, Taehyung never left your side - always making sure that you were comfortable and that you were warm enough. The boys couldn’t help but smile at his behavior, it was obvious that he had fell for you and he wasn’t trying to hide it either. Lisa smiled along with them as well.
“Tae you can relax, she’s sleeping.” She said walking in the room where you were staying. Taehyung was sitting on the bed next to you.
“I’m just worried..” He said making her smile.
“Just come down, we’re about to watch a film. The atmosphere it’s perfect.” She said, talking about the sound of the rain that you could hear from outside.
“All right, I’ll come down.” He said and Lisa nodded, leaving the two of you alone again.
You opened your eyes slowly, yawning after your well-rested nap.            Taehyung was just about to leave when you held his hand, coughing his attention.
“Are you okay? Do you need something?” He asked and you couldn’t help but smile at his worried tone.
“I don’t want to be alone..” You said and he nodded sitting next to you again.
You brushed with your thumb his hurt knuckles with a frown on your face.
“You shouldn’t have done that.”
“I wanted to do.” He replied - unfazed.
“It wasn’t worth it.”
“You are worth everything.” You blushed at his words and he noticed your pink cheeks. It was the cutest thing he had ever seen.
“What are you going to do during break?” He asked without letting go of your hand.
“I’ll just rest, chill at my house.” You replied looking down at your intertwined hands.
“Maybe we could rest together..” Taehyung offered with an hopeful look in his smile.
You could feel a smile form on your face as well.
“I would love that.”
Maybe Taehyung wasn’t the asshole you thought he would be.                      Maybe he didn’t date anyone because no one was his type, like Lisa had said.                                                                                                                     Maybe he didn’t date any of those girls because those girls were you.

HOTD Headcanons : Mostly-Holiday addition
Holiday (Mainly Christmas, sorry)-centric hcs! Not necessarily wholesome, though
December is a bit of a rough time for the Rogan family, considering that’s when the Curien Mansion incident went down. They still celebrate Christmas but it’s a more solemn affair for Sophie and Thomas as they remember the tragedy and reflect on how they’re lucky to be alive
They have, however, tried their damndest to make the holiday a joyous time for Lisa. It was easier when she was younger, but they manage. Always get her the nicest gifts they can, and Rogan tries to stick around. He hasn’t always been there but some of the best memories Lisa has had with him is the years he’s stayed home for Christmas.
It’s also a bit rough for G but he handles it well. It doesn’t affect any holiday stuff, it’s just on those couple of days he takes some time to reflect and remember all the lives lost to Curien and his creations…
And it’s really rough for Daniel. Big reminder for everything that’s happened - his father’s crime and death, his illness, etc etc etc - and he hasn’t gotten to experience the holiday cheer ever since he first fell ill. Very awkward, but he’s glad things are getting better.
Most AMS agents see that window of time as the beginning of the end of the world as we know it, and that kind of puts a damper on the whole month. Still, they all remain as joyful as they can.
Kate loves Christmas, and she didn’t personally experience the Curien Mansion incident, so for her it’s still mainly a joyous time. But those few days are still uncomfortable and a little sad bc of everything I’ve just mentioned. But the others are glad she can still be hopeful and she’s kind of the go-to for Christmas Cheer to get their minds off all the bad stuff. She’s one of the only people out there who can handle hectic Christmas Shopping, and she always knows what to get for people.
Ryan has been an elf for mall Santas a few times, back when he was a bit younger (like slightly older teen years)
Magician, Chariot and Hangedman all have a more complex view of this time of year as well, and they don’t celebrate Christmas. For them, it marks a time of death - Curien’s and their own, that is. For the former, December is only a month of pain- he was brought into this world and hasn’t known peace since. For the latter, well, they died and Curien did, too. I believe that in Scarlet Dawn they probably were kept around for a year at most - so they might not have experienced December since their first deaths. But they see this time as one to reflect as the earth dies for a little while. They mourn (erm, would mourn? If they were alive in December???) their father and wait for his return - though they do try to remain in high spirits.

LISA Characters as Classpects
It’s common fare for various SBURB rhetoricians to imagine what classpect or title fictional characters they like have, so I’m going to do similar to a franchise I have sunk quite a lot of time into, the LISA series. What follows is Classpect Analysis on characters from LISA the Painful, LISA the Pointless, and LISA the Hopeful, all of which are great games I recommend playing, if you can stomach the content. I’ll try not to spoil anything, but the game’s been out for years where were you? read with caution.
Brad Armstrong is a Knight of Breath
Tumblr media
The aspect of Breath entails breaking free of bonds, and the class of Knight entails fighting for a cause. Brad’s history has not been a cheery one, and the abuse he’s faced at the hands of his father, as well as Lisa’s suicide, have haunted him well into his adult years, to the point of becoming addicted to Joy to escape it. In doing so, swapping one crippling binding for another.
However, finding Buddy in the wastelands gave him a spark and a purpose, to succeed as a father and raise this kid, spiting Marty and proving himself to the late Lisa. This eventually sends him on a crusade through Olathe, his cause giving him the strength to murder hundreds, single-handedly (and even without any hands at all!). The Knight class is expressed in him being able to fight for Buddy, and the Breath aspect is expressed in him being unfettered by any obstacle, being a force of destruction, and, depending on the play-though, fighting against the addiction to Joy.
Lisa Armstrong is a Muse of Sand
Tumblr media
Muses are a class that inspires events around them, and Sand is an aspect of dividing the opposition. Lisa had it the roughest, enduring years of abuse from her father, to the point of getting a friend to maim her, and eventually committing suicide.
Lisa is a Muse of Sand simply for the effect she had on others. The memories of her tear them apart, turning them into two broken men, and the only thing she had to do was die.
Buddy is an Heir of Heart
Tumblr media
Ward is class about relying on others to achieve your goals, and Heart is about seeing things for what they are individually. Buddy struggles with both of these concepts throughout her journey. She refuses to rely on anyone, electing to browbeat them, work against them, or kill them. And she refuses to see things individually, viewing Brad as some delusional tormentor, Rando as a weakling, and herself as a messiah. It isn’t until Joyful that she comes to begin seeing others as anything other than detractors and tools.
Bernard “Buzzo” Buttfart is a Prince of Breath
Tumblr media
Breath is about destruction and breaking free from bonds, while Princes are a destructive class that destroys with their aspect and can destroy it too. Buzzo is in the same boat as Brad, with a lot of hang-ups due to his connection to Lisa. However, unlike Brad, who is fueled by it to father Buddy, Buzzo ends up getting torn apart by it, and uses it to torment Brad and become the leader of a fearsome gang.
However, he destroys his own Breath too. Just like Brad, he chooses not to let go, brooding and taking Joy. He eventually stops destroying Breath and freeing himself, but loses his outlets and begins destroying himself instead. Buzzo is a Prince, though and through.
Terry Hintz is an Heir of Hope
Tumblr media
Heirs are a class that learns to rely on people to nurture the things they love, and Hope means pushing things aside, and optimism. Both suit Terry rather well. He becomes Brad’s right hand man and i’m not sorry for that joke, learning how to grow from fighting with him. Along the way, he grows confident, and changes from feeling like an absolute loser to a truly cool dude who deserves the friends he has. And he doesn’t let anything get him down either, like Hope entials. He powered through cancer, depression, isolation, a dog, his pulled g-string, and everything Olathe could throw at him, tempering his skills into a badass that can set people on fire by dancing, somehow.
Rando is a Page of Life
Tumblr media
Pages are classes that have to learn to fight, and Life is about growth and nurture. Rando is a hero of the wastelands, and expresses both traits by his superior martial art skills, as well as his genuine well-intent for his men and the wastelands. However, while he expressed them well, his downfall was his falter in handling Life, as his rogue troops mugged Brad for rations, captured Buddy despite Rando’s orders, and his inability to exert control over people, even if it would be for the best.
Dr Yado is a Waste of Doom
Tumblr media
Wastes are classes that change the status quo, also referred to a a bomb to a session’s stability, to the Grace’s poison. And Doom is about decay, opposite to Life. Yado was responsible for The Flash, instantly changing the rules of the world just at the snap of a finger. The after-effects are the Doom, as he just waited for everyone else to destroy themselves in their own nihilism and addiction.
Marty Armstrong is a Muse of Doom
Tumblr media
Muses passively manipulate events to be, and Doom is decay. The horrible events of LISA can all be traced back to him. Brad’s attitude, Buzzo’s actions, Rando, The Flash, and most of all Lisa, can all be traced to Marty.
Alex Churchland is a Guard of Life
Tumblr media
Pointless characters, finally.
A Guard is a passive protection class that lets the trouble find them so they can put it down to protect their charge, the charge in this case being Life. Alex is a fighter, no doubt about that, but unlike the other protagonists presented here, he doesn’t seek it out. He’s just trying to live, and the world responds with violence. Alex’s quest is about fighting back malevolence to nurture his hope that life can be better, and to protect his best friend in a world that doesn’t care.
Joel Miller is a Maid of Dust
Tumblr media
Maids are passive classes that help others realize their destinies, whilst Dust is about making do with what you have. Joel is a scrounger, and everything he has had to be cultivated from scraps. His one bullet for his rare gun, his badass hat and coat, both of which are apparently made from tanned trashbags, and his one friend in the apocalypse. Double Dust points for his gun, because it has exactly one bullet in it, and he still used it to fight an army of jersey-worshipers. The Maid part comes into obvious play with his role to Alex. Not only is his role devoted to support, debuffing the enemies, but he also helps Alex, providing companionship, and a shoulder to rest on whether it be through deserts, through hell, or bleeding out in a land of trash.
Benny “Beltboy” Oberwinch is a Guard of Blood
Tumblr media
Guards wait for trouble to come so they can beat it back to protect what they love, and Blood is about the bonds that hold things together. As the de facto leader of the gang, Benny runs into a lot of trouble and puts it down, as the DPS of the team. His Guard role also ties into his Blood role too. The main reason Beltboy is along on this quest to find the girl is because his friends are after her. This is especially evident in his conversations with Cyclops in the Sportsdome.
“I care more about you guys than some chick I don’t even know.”
“Of course I want to win the girl. You guys want it, I want to win too.”
Lines like these and the fact that his childhood friend is never really referred to in the sense of being his girlfriend, it seems that above anything else, Beltboy values friends, and he’ll power through a sea of freaks if it means seeing them happy.
Liam “Lanks” McCoy is a Page of Might
Tumblr media
Pages must learn to stand and fight, and heroes of Might must learn that to solve their problems, they have to face it head-on. Lanks starts out as a dweeb with no real skills, his initial healing move being no better than mystery jerky, and his Fireball 1 being far outclassed by Beltboy and Cyclops just going for an all-out attack. However, as he levels up and hangs with his friends, he increases in power, learning huge firebomb-esque blasts of flame, healing that goes up to the thousands, and inspiring sick-ass speeches. This culminates fully in his route, where he’s forced to stand by himself, and becomes Unstoppable.
Other routes, not so much.
Clyde “Cyclops” von Volger is a Ward of Sand
Tumblr media
Wards are classes who learn to rely on others to be successful, while Sand is about tearing things apart, or meeting strength with weakness and winning. Like Buddy, he rejects both of those. He rejects his Ward side, being hard to get along with for the most part, and being as pissed at his friends as he does against the goons they see on a daily basis. And he rejects Sand by rushing into every problem. The biggest possible mistake he could potentially make is rushing into enemies while at a disadvantage, and rushing into a more spoilery situation, once again, with no regard for his position. It’s to the point that his remark upon escaping from the Engine Enthusiasts, “[ramming into things] is the only thing I’m good for”, is actually true.
While we never see Cyclops embrace this role, going purposefully against it leads to misfortune for him, just like a Sburb player going against their title.
Rodriguez Creed is a Sage of Law
Tumblr media
Sages must act with thought, as well as action, choosing the wisest choice and executing it, while Law is about the better part of restricting things, mostly dumb mistakes and such. This is reflected in his role in the party, and his role in the story. His skills are mostly support, but well-placed support, as well as heavy damage. And by making a mistake in front of him, he accompanies Beltboy and the others, a decision that drastically changes the events of the game for the better!
Hart is a Guide of Doom
Tumblr media
Guides directly lead people to their fates, and I think we’ve already had at least five other Doom players, I don’t need to repeat.
Hart has a major role in the story as the guy who personally fucks up your life no matter who you are. Even in Rodriguez routes where you actively avoid going anywhere near you, he’s still messing your shit up.
Additionally, on a deeper level, his dialogue during his fight, and some well-placed speculation, reveal a bit more about his motivation. His crusade to find the girl is less about waning to get his dick wet, but more destructive than that. He already led himself to misfortune in the past, and has been decaying ever since, into becoming this thing in a heart mask and human skin. His main intention with the girl is gaining a small bit of closure at the expense of dooming humanity.
Jano Rassoul is a Clown of Void
Tumblr media
Clowns are fucking broken as shit and they mean nothing, and Void means Nothing. Jano is here because he is here, and there is no other reason. Do not look into why Jano got a spot in this analysis, it’s fucking abnormal.

Award-Winning Joaquin Jimenez Strikes Again
For the last several years Monnaie de Paris has collaborated with distinguished French institutions to salute ‘Creations Sublimant Excellence’ [works of sublime quality] in coin. Examples to date have included Cartier and Baccarat crystal.
This year the Louvre gets the nod. It is represented by its most famous possession: da Vinci’s masterwork, the Mona Lisa or La Gioconda. This painting is the best known and most visited artwork in the world. It was among the first artworks to be exhibited in the Louvre when it became a national museum during the French Revolution. It and the Louvre are one. As such it is highly appropriate it is now the subject of the 2019 ‘Creations Sublimant Excellence’ coins.
Four coins depict the famous painting on their obverses: a 37 mm, 31.104 g (1 oz) .999 fine silver high relief €20; a 22 mm, 7.78 g (1/4 oz) .999 fine gold €50; a 37 mm, 31.104 g (1 oz) .999 fine gold €200; a 50 mm, 155.50 g (5 oz) .999 fine gold €500. Mintages are 3,000, 1,000, 500 and 50 respectively. The common reverse shows differing views of aspects of the Louvre’s architecture.
Obverse and reverse of Monnaie de Paris’ high relief silver €20 depicting the Mona Lisa. Images courtesy Monnaie de Paris.
Monnaie de Paris’ Creative Director of Engraving, Joaquin Jimenez, was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in Coin Design in February 2019 at the Coin of the Year Awards held at the World Money Fair in Berlin, Germany.
In addition, the mint’s award-winning creative director of engraving, Joaquin Jimenez, has created a 100 mm, 1000.00 g .999 fine gold €5,000 on which La Giaconda is set against an aerial view the museum’s Pei Pyramid and flanked by columns that reproduce the design of the painting’s frame.
The reverse presents a portrait of da Vinci. Included are two of his better-known works The Vitruvian Man and one of his flying machines. Nineteen examples of the €5,000 have been struck.
MdP’s 1kilo gold €5,000 designed by Joaquin Jimenez showing Mona Lisa on the obverse and Leonardo da Vinci on the reverse. Images courtesy Monnaie de Paris.
For those who may have spent much of their lives off-planet, The Mona Lisa is a half-length oil portrait of Lisa del Giocondo painted by Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci probably between 1503 and 1506.
Ms. Lisa del Giocondo, née Gherardini, was the wife of Francesco del Giocondo, a wealthy Florentine silk merchant. The Italian name of the painting is a pun on the Giocondo family name, ‘La Gioconda’ meaning “the joyful/happy one’.
There is debate among art historians as to whether more than one portrait of Ms. Giocondo was made by da Vinci. Whatever the truth, somewhere along the line at least one was acquired by King Francis I of France. Post-revolution this became the property of the French Republic and since 1797 has been on permanent display at the Louvre Museum. Oddly it did not become appreciated and lauded in the way it is today until the early 20th century.
Today it carries insurance valuation of well over $500 million. It is protected in a climate-controlled bulletproof glass case. This has kept it safe from at least three 20th century attempts of vandalism. Some 6,000,000 people view it every year.

It’s Not All About Pink for Women’s Tech at CES 2019
This is not a watch. Well, not just a watch. It can track heart rate. And it’s not even pink. Well, rose gold, perhaps.
One of the benefits about being a woman attending CES is that there are no lines in the loos. The men’s rooms, however, are, shall we say, over-subscribed due to the big disparity between the number of male attendees versus females.
Clearly, women are under-represented in technology companies at all levels, as the ladies’ room observation and many other more statistical reports recognize.
But I’ve good news to report on the product front about women-focused consumer technology at #CES2019: there’s a lot more of it, and some of it very meaningful, impactful, and quality-of-life enhancing. I assert this through my health lens, as well as health-economic perspective.
Start with Fitbit, among the most mature digital health suppliers featured at CES over time. Here’s a slide I developed when the Versa came to market, where I curated pink versions of Fitbit trackers since the advent of the first digital tracker I ever used: the Zip.
I met Stacey Burr who led adidas digital sports group way back when, at CES in the Zip era. She and I attended a digital health session about getting fit with tech tools and apps. She and I were among the only women in the room. The entire panel (well, “manel” as my colleague Sherry Reynolds @Cascadia has called the phenomenon) was young men, fit and buff. Every example in the video demos fit on a continuum from Arnold Schwarzenegger to A-Rod. At the Q&A, I asked why there weren’t any women featured, either as companies’ marketers or in the consumer-user examples. The chaps were tongue-tied, and Stacey and I bonded at that moment and continue to be collegial friends and part of growing group of women-in-health-tech. (Update on Stacey: she’s now Chief of Google’s Wear OS, part of Google’s ever-morphing health team).
Fast forward to 2018, and Fitbit’s blog posted about women’s health tracking, using the words “menstruation,” “period,” and “sexual health.”
Well isn’t that what we call “real life” stuff?
How time is a tincture and retail health, well, a business recognizing that some demographics (like women committed to health, fitness, stress reduction, mental health promotion, and resilience) have money to spend on high-value and evidence-based products.
So welcome the Versa, one of many women-targeted health tools featured at CES 2019 that are getting real and impactful about women, tech and health. I’ve worn my Versa for about four months now: it’s my first smartwatch-health tracker, having been a decades-committed Skagen stainless steel band analog watch-wearer on my left wrist. On my right wrist, I’ve donned several Fitbit bands, and trackers from Garmin, Withings, Fossil, Jawbone, and others.
[As a sidebar, I’ve gifted all the devices I no longer use to Professor Lisa Gualtieri’s Recycle Health project at Tufts University. Lisa’s team cleans up the donated devices (stripping of data, etc.) and gifts them onto people in the Boston area who can use them. You can do the same with your old tech long stored in “that drawer” by getting a printed label on the Recycle Health website].
There’s more fashion embedded in technology each year at CES, with brands partnering and licensing their design ethos and personalities to many tech products. One of my personal favorites is Kate Spade, whom we lost in 2018 to suicide (which I covered here in Health Populi as my own sympathy post devoted to her and Anthony Bourdain, may they rest in peace). On a joyful note, Spade’s upbeat design sense lives on in 2019, featuring some adorable watches that track activity. This is among the first fashion brands to incorporate Google’s wearable device software, Wear OS. The watch can track heart rate, has GPS, and can make mobile payments using Google Pay.
Health tracking can cover a range of women’s health issues, nothing more intimate and emotionally powerful than fertility and baby-making. This demand has not gone unnoticed in the start-up and financing communities. In 2018, several direct-to-consumer fertility-tech companies garnered $million funding to begin commercializing and scaling their products.
The Ava Fertility Tracker 2.0 is one such innovator, raising a $30mm round of investment in mid-2018. This timing coincided with the announcement of Ava’s 10,000th birth for an Ava user. Ava was founded in Switzerland in 2014 and received the Best of Baby Tech Award at CES 2017. In 2019, the company launches Ava tracker 2.0. This new version replaces traditional basal temperature with pulse rate, skin temperature, and breathing to be more predictive about ovulation. The device runs $299 and bundles in online content and a one-year pregnancy guarantee.
Once pregnant, a woman’s best chance of having a healthy baby is borne out of good pre-natal care. Thanks to BabyScripts, a box of pre-natal goodness, women can self-care during the crucial nine months of fetal development. That box arrives in Mom’s mail and includes a WiFi enabled scale, a blood pressure monitor, an app and content with a warm and informative welcome message. Mom-generated data flows to a HIPAA-compliant platform which informs OB/GYNs about their patients’ progress. For low-risk mothers, BabyScripts can empower self-care and unneeded trips to the doctor. For the clinician, the program benefits workflow, patient engagement, and risk management. I met the co-founders, Anish and Juan Pablo, in 2014 when they were starting up, and since then the company has grown through fruitful partnerships with healthcare providers around the U.S. Babyscripts received a $6mm investment in November 2018 from Startup Health, NueCura, led by Philips whose Mother/Baby unit will partner with the company.
There’s a lot of Baby Tech at CES 2019, an entire track organized by Living in Digital Times. This is a $23 billion business, with 4 million babies born every year. The portfolio of products for baby boggles the mind: when my now-grown daughter was six months old, technology in her room was a baby monitor (walkie-talkie style) and a Diaper Genie (relatively new “tech” at the time). That was 1997. Two decades later, baby tech is app-ified, from tracking feeding and monitoring baby’s room and crib to cooking healthy food for little ones: smart pacifiers, smart baby bottles, GPS-embedded strollers, GPS-bracelets for security…bringing up baby has gotten smart-er.
But back to women, and managing everyday life. Women are their homes Chief Household Officers, balancing family, work, volunteer and community activities, friendships, self-health, and home-keeping. For this last and least-enjoyable life-flow, there are connected appliances to help make life easier and more streamlined for managing house tasks. The Roomba, the first such connected home appliance, is now in a mature category, with many competitors for robotic vacuuming. Room-by-room at home, there are offerings at CES ’19 to manage every kind of work-life flow: for cooking, cleaning, washing, drying, and even folding clothes. I met the Foldimate at CES 2018, and am very happy to see it’s back in 2019 and getting market traction. It’s still early days but if tech can help all of us, men and women, save time on home tasks, we can conserve time for family, friends, and alone time to just breathe and think.
Caregivers tend to be female, and they tend not to have that time to breathe and think: caregivers usually put those they care for first, including their pets (and yes, Pet Tech is also a growing category at CES). It’s encouraging to see that caregivers are called out in many marketing plans for innovations this year at CES. I was particularly keen to meet with folks working in the Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) Future Lab, who have developed the Pria, picture here.
Wait – “Stanley Black & Decker? Aren’t they the folks who make tools and the iconic Dustbuster handheld vacuum?” Yes, indeed. But the company also has a business-to-business reach into healthcare — namely hospitals for security. asset tracking, and climate control. That’s a twenty-year-old business. So it is natural for SBD to consider how to leverage B2B healthcare into the home, where the company has strong consumer brand equity.
Pria wears a lot of hats, as companion, weather forecaster, voice-activated encyclopedia, and first and foremost, medication dispenser. There are other medication management devices available, but Pria incorporates voice-activation that feels like an Amazon or Google assistant experience without the user having to share data beyond meds. The app allows caregivers to be part of the user’s care circle, along with pharmacies and clinicians.
Samsung comes to CES this year with several “bots,” including Bot Care to support caregiving. Bot Care has many uses, including medication management and adherence support, companionship, information channeling (for, say, healthy cooking, nutrition, and exercise), and other functions that make living and aging at home easier and safer. Here’s a short video on Bot Care to learn more.

Self-care is in short supply among women, who need to take time beyond caring for others. “Put your own gas mask on first” is sound advice for women, who can lead lives wearing so many hats. At CES this year, Procter & Gamble and their Life Lab attended CES as a supplier for the first time. Like Stanley Black & Decker, P&G has a strong consumer brand name, but the initials have never been confused with being a tech company. In the company’s Media Day presentation, I learned that their Life Lab was founded to innovate new products and enhancements to existing ones. They coined their session the “Consumer Experience Show” signifying the company was bringing their deep consumer market knowledge to bear while incorporating technology enhancements to well-known brands like Gillette (for shaving), Olay (for skin care), and Oral-B (for oral care). “We are innovating how we innovate,” they explained, through the Life Lab. Three innovations they presented were:
A new “warm” razor, giving the user the Old School barbershop + hot towel experience;
The Olay Skin Advisor asks, “what if you could get a personalized skin regimen with one selfie?” which uses the company’s proprietary VizID technology backed by AI and pinpointing personalized skin care routines to fit specific needs; and,
A new Oral-B Genius X toothbrush, recognizing your “personal brushing style” and providing real-time feedback that is meant to deliver better oral health to the user.
To come full circle, it’s encouraging to note that Gary Shapiro, President of the Consumer Technology Association, announced that CTA would invest $10 million in venture firms that support women and diverse leaders in technology. That’s a welcome commitment from the Association. Now, here’s a video from the first Women in Technology panel ever held at a CES, convened yesterday and sponsored by Lenovo and Intel.
