Excited to present my cover to The Lightning Thief Graphic Novel: Special Edition!
I posed for the original cover in Attila Futaki’s studio in Budapest, helping him finish inks on the art so we could go pick up the money in Austria. So it was fun revisiting this pose 12??? 13??? years later and take a second “stab” at it inspired by Walker Scobell’s casting and attempting to bridge the gap between that and the thirtysomething Hungarian Percy featured in the interior pages!
The Special edition boasts a new cover by me, and hopefully also the Medusa pages which were drawn as an online exclusive when the book first went to print...because what graphic adaptation of the Perseus myth could ever be considered complete without Medusa in it....

GRYYYM, avec : Attila Futaki, Gabriel Delmas, Guillaume Bouges, Michael Moorcock, Joseph Lacroix, Patrick Pion, Romain Rogier, Adrian Smith, Thibault Vermot, Justine Gasquet, Sabrina Calvo, Peggy Ann Mourot, Elena Guidolin, Julien Raboteau, Georges Clarenko, Akileus, Tommy Lee Edwards, Marazano Richard, Simon Léturgie, Chris Lenté, Chrysostome Gourio, Bruno Letizia, JP Krassinsky, Fay Dalton, Pat Mills, David Lloyd, Guillaume Chuffart, Vincent Pelletier, Richard Gez, Grégory Makles, Paolo Massagli, Alkbazz, Jérôme Barbosa, Julien Burn Brunet, Framax Framax, Julien Gardon, Sébastien Loraine, Nicolas Nemiri, Christophe Poot. – avec Gryyym.
