I can barely begin to express how much the course of my life has been altered because of a 40 minute highlight video done by @jelloapocalypse and friends riffing over a 20 year old sky pirate game.

I made an off-handed comment after watching it together with two of my longtime friends, about how much I wish I had what Vyrsa had, and one of those friends STRAIGHT-UP TELLS ME that her and her wife have been crushing on me for a while.

The feeling was mutual, though I'd been of course hesitant to even hint at it.

Anyway now a few months later, we're a thruple, and we decided to honor the genesis of our relationship by cosplaying as the trio that made it a reality for my 30th birthday!

PinkCatNinja, me (CatComixzStudios), and ArtieStokes as Aika, Vyce Vyrsa, and Fina respectively, from SKIES OF ARCADIA!

And as a bonus, a comment I left on the video before my egg would crack completely (was still IDing as genderfluid at the time)

Flowey Cosplay 🌻

I attended to an event yesterday and cosplayed as Flowey!!!

This was mostly a wardrobe cosplay and I crunched it like crazy because, you see, originally I planned to go as another different character, but, it didn't pan out so I had to contingency plan the hell out of it and this was the result! Quite simple, but effective tbh. I loved it and had a blast and I intend on repeating it because it's just a very comfortable outfit to wear too!

Many people recognized me and that girl dressed as Temmie even participated in the cosplay contest!

All in all it was such a fun great time and I enjoyed myself to the fullest.

Also trying this makeup was very nice although I don't have a good enough pulse to draw on my face. If I had black lipstick it woulda looked more effective. Well, next time!

Extra fact: the reins that hold the mask to my face broke in the middle of the event, and though I managed to fix them and survive, I know now that I have to rework them so it won't happen again. It's all experience!

Thought I would try out posting some in progress work, but. Its all concept stuff. This is mostly what my process looks like. a whole lotta mess and a few nice things. (of course I prettied it up to post here-)

This is for Indigo Park! I'm being held at gunpoint nicely asked by @king-of-vertigo to make an Oc, so what better than a very tropical, brightly coloured fruit bat? (I dont know much about Indigo Park, but Lloyd seems very silly. I want to bury my face in his mane.) Maybe more of him in the future, maybe not, we shall see.

Also Elbryn joined the Companions for a bit in the hopes of honing his abysmal sword skills. Went well for a bit, he even managed to keep his status as a mage hidden (because goodness knows they would never respect him if they knew about it). Then the werewolf thing became apparent, and he was like, "ok not thrilled about this" but still willing to work with them, until like three missions into his time with them they take him in secret to the under-forge and try to talk him into becoming a werewolf 😭 like, fellas, he JUST met you-

He was like "uhhh yeah I'll need to think about it" then snuck out in the middle of the night with NO intention of returning. I think it's time for him to head on up to Winterhold soon

Attempt 1 at recreating calico critter baby was a failure but thankfully a failed attempt makes a good warmup and attempt 2 turned out much nicer
