I've litterally had this song on loop in my head for the past week.

okay basically, Nikola has the most advanced research on the infection because he IS infected but has been keeping it from taking away his cognitive function and consciousness using his own strange methods

thing is, even though he’s made massive breakthroughs and written about his results, nobody wants to work with him because he’s insane, unhinged, unpredictable and occasionally aggressive 😞 he also doesn’t sleep, doesn’t really eat, but is a FREAK about bathing, if he’s not clean somehow he freaks out and needs to get the dirt off him immediately or he feels like he’ll die (yeah chat he’s kinda weird but he’s my silly 💔)

he also can’t tell the difference between admiration and love, so he gets these massive crushes on scientists he considers greater than himself. (Ahem…⬇️)

They’re not even from the same fandom 😭 but I like the concept of him shipped w this guy

He would be really fun in an au-- I like him a lot..........

There is however a character that fills the same sort of role. One that would absolutely mayhaps know a little more. (And I would love to watch him interact with some others that I have yet to redesign..)

I would love to hear more about him.. i love fucked up little guys.

Finally going to explain my comic: (Name Still Pending)

I've posted a few times about my guys (Marlowe and Kylah), drawn art for them and teased a few things here and there, but I decided it was time to properly go and make a post.

In short: It's a story about escape from an infected city several years after the collapse, and our main characters journey to a rumored safe zone. Along the way they meet other survivors, both those who are good and who are..... less willing to lend a helping hand.

There's more details under the cut, everyone is welcome to make ocs and add to the wider world! Tag me so I can see!

THE SETTING: The city. Meant to be loosely inspired by a generally midwestern / landlocked city, nowhere near the ocean. I'm yet unsure if it'll be America directly, or if I'll set it in some sort of ambiguous North American setting (I'm Canadian. I don't know too much about the structuring of American cities).

The point is. A modern city. Much like the one you could live in. tall buildings, endless suburbs, and mazes of alleyways that could hide any number of things. (There is a map I am currently drawing up incoming for y'alls)

THE CHARACTERS: There's a pretty diverse cast of people. All ages, all occupations, all walks of life. There are several small communities pocked around the cities, groups of no more than ~25-50 people at most, along with a few factions (which I will introduce later on with more posts).

My main two characters are ones I have posted here before, Kylah and Marlowe (both have their own oc tags, tagged as #oc marlowe and #oc kylah respectively), are a pair of survivors that begin on this journey to the aforementioned safe zone. They gather friends along the way, and uncover certain secrets about the nature of the infection.

ANYWAYS -- I'm excited to share these guys and this story with everyone, I hope everyone finds them as interesting as I do....

Yet another OC redesign from This Post. This time, it's my lovely lady Kylah, the best friend, and the other main character of the In-Progress Long Term Writing Project(tm) that has yet to be named.

I'll make up more headcanons and such for him as I go. For now he's. a mildly feral college student with a love for urban exploration and jumping into any and all bodies of water he can find. (I kinda love him tbh. he's so silly and im imagining he talks back to Rambley under his breath with so much sass.)

Oooo He sounds like fun, However: I've been thinking on it, I dont think Leo is really the type for romance? in my head he's always been sorta Aroace and generally disinterested, HOWEVER.

He loves his friends (platonically ofc) and he and Apollo can absolutely be chaotic besties. I would love to see the trouble they get into >:)

so I may or may not have a new ramshackle OC in the works (his name will prob be Apollo) and I was wondering if I can ship him with @clown-prince-of-gay ‘s Leo :3

LEO FACTS:

His favourite colour is orange, because it reminds him of his favourite fruit (also oranges)

His glasses are actually too strong a prescription for him, because he found them in the garbage out back of a house.

The white streaks in his hair are caused by poliosis, a symptom of vitiligo, mostly this is visible in his hair, but he has a few patches of lighter skin on his arms and chest.

His name was from when he broke into a library when he was younger, and became fascinated with renaissance artists such as Leonardo Divinci, although he hates the name Leonardo with a burning passion.

He loves to create little windup toys and small wooden toys for younger scraps. He tried selling them at one point, but there wasnt much interest.

Velvette gets those Flower Knows fancy ass embossed blushes and NEVER uses them bc the design is too pretty

Sora once tried molding animals to put on cakes out of fondant, and it turned out so horrible and nightmarish that he never again touched a piece of fondant

Mayfly has snorted crushed up smarties like cocaine (like, the powdery ones, not the chocolate ones)

Olive is the type of person to say they love horror and then watch it while clutching onto Bailey for dear life, watching through a gap in their own fingers :P

HAPPY ONE YEAR ON TUMBLR!!

I made my first post today, last year. In honour of my first complete year, I went and redrew a peice from the last year. (I will also be doing this every year)

This year I redrew this post, and redesigned my bugsona in the process. (made it look more like me! updated the clothing and the colours)

Thank you so much for a great first year, and I absolutely look forward to doing this again next year >:))
