I saw a post on reddit about the different routes Furiosa’s life could have taken, and something about the ‘Father’ route kinda spoke to me. So…

Furiosa says her first words and says that yes, she is Dementus’ daughter (Because Joe’s vibe is even worse then Dementus’), giving her a place of trust

She is also actively planning on killing him, but needs to make sure she’ll have control of the other bikers first

Fifteen year old Furiosa rapidly finds herself thrown into positions of power by her ‘father’

She stops the flagrant food waste, kicks out as many of the wretched to the Citadel or Bullet Farm as she can (and makes sure its dementus who is the public face of it)

Recognizing Octoboss’ clear resentment of Dementus, she silently recruits him and his gang of flyers to her side

Furiosa is silently sequestering gas and food for her own stockpile and a covert deal with Jack

When Demementus moves on Bullet Farm, she alerts Immortan Joe before his conviy can arrive. Joe loses the War Rig and Jack, but Furiosa has a functionally empty Gas Town

She rallies her men, take out Dementus’ loyalists in Gas Town, waits for Dementus to come back - and shoots him in the Fucking Head

Queen Furiosa, Lady Protector of Gas and Khan of the Biker Horde, makes a formal agreement with Joe, one better then Dementus’

Then she recruits a wastelander named Max, to help her take the Citadel and free the Wives… step one os Max becoming the new Praetorian…

Yang: So VB... Who's the kid?

Jaune: Oh! Right! *picks up 5-year-old Furiosa from behind his leg* Everyone, this is Furiosa Arc, my daughter!

Ruby/Nora: DAUGHTER!?!?

Ren: *looks at her with a raised brow* She looks almost nothing like you

Jaune: She takes after her mother more, which isn't a surprise, her family genes are pretty powerful.

Blake: Who's her mom?

Jaune: Uh... well... you guys might not believe me

Weiss: Why? It's not like she's a demigod- Oh my oum she is, isn't she?

Jaune: Yep!

Yang: Whoa! Way to go VB! Which Goddess?

Jaune: Hestia

Yang: Really? So if she's anything like Percy and the others, is she gonna be as strong as them?

Jaune: Well... because I'm not exactly from Earth and Humans here on Remnant had to adapt and evolve differently, it's possible she'd be stronger

Yang: How strong?

Jaune: I really don't know but Hestia says she'll be really strong, way stronger than Hercules!

Ruby: Who?

Jaune: Long story, also she's pretty much a goddess herself

Nora: Really? Goddess of what?

Jaune: Fury

Nora: Why that?

Jaune: *lets out a long sigh* Another long story, but trust me, you don't want to anger her without me or her mom around! *Chuckles*

Furiosa: *embarrased* Father!

Jaune: *Smiles* Oh she speaks!

Furiosa: Father, you're embarrassing me!

Jaune: Well I kinda have to in front of all your aunts and uncles!

Furiosa: *hiding her face* Father! Stop!

The only acceptable FuryJack Modern AU is working for Amazon. Jack is clearly the Director of Amazon Delivery Service Partner. Furiosa is working as a delivery partner because she wants to take the whole company out from the inside. Her fervant hatred for the company keeps getting mistaken for capitalistic zeal and she keeps getting promoted. When she begins working beside Jack day in and day out, he actually sees what she's trying to do and joins her cause. And instead of dying he gets, like, wrongly imprisoned or something. Immortan Bezos replaces him with Furiosa and then the last chapter of the fic is the home addresses of every S level exec at Amazon.

It's Fowlfest AU Day. And I thought I could yap about my Mad Max AU.

For convenience humans would know about fairies and fairies are closer to human sizes in this AU. In the normal Mad Max AU way the Earth would be an apocalyptic wasteland, the earth is spoiled and magic has become almost nonexistent even to fairies. Between the loss of magic and the radiation fairies are suffering. Holly, her mother and Vinyáya would be part of the Many Mothers, protecting one of the last magical ritual sites; the Green Place.

Out in the wasteland Opal would be gathering power both by hoarding magic and technology. She would've long since forced Foaly to help her in her quest to become the queen of this irradiated Earth. Their paths would eventually cross when one of Opal's scouting parties would manage to capture Holly and her mother, after Coral got injured near one of Opal's waste dumping sites.

Opal would become obsessed with finding the magical site the many mothers are protecting after learning Holly and Coral still have their magic. And after Coral dies from her injuries Opal keeps Holly as her captive slowly draining her of her magic one spark at a time hoping to wring out the location of the Green Place. During her years as a captive Holly befriends Foaly as her hatred towards Opal festers.

Eventually Opal's growing gang would come across the Citadel that is being led by Kronski and his extinctionists, holding court to determine who is useful enough for them to live and who will die for their survival.

What if... Little Furiosa got lost on her way back to the Green Place?

As well as my work on Marvel Earth-6161, I had an idea for a post-apocalyptic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story!

The idea for this came from a few things. 1.) I’d always wanted to write a TMNT story, but always thought, “But what could I do that hasn’t been done before?” And as a horror writer, the idea of inserting them into that genre always intrigued me. 2.) playing as Donatello during a majority of Chapter 5 Season 3 of Fortnite! Ya know… the season a lot of people hated? The one with the cars… well I LOVED it. And pictured the Turtles thriving in a world where Donnie was modding vehicles and building all kinds of fun contraptions for them. And 3.) just after Chapter 5 Season 3 of Fortnite came out, I saw Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Which is still, hands down, my movie of the year. All of these things, along with my love for the Fallout series of video games gave me the idea to do a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story that took place in a world that was post-nuclear fallout.

Now, just like my Iron Man post from a few days ago, I’d like ideas!! Any and all ideas are welcome!! I think it could be fun to do what the original Mirage run of TMNT did in the 80s, parodying the gritty and dark comics of the time and instead, with this fan project, parody the gritty and dark films of the 80s.

I do have some ideas. I think Splinter should be human in this version as I’ve always loved him being human before his mutation as opposed to him being a rat first. It’s something that separates him from the boys. And the other idea is that the turtles will be created from experiments performed by Baron Draxum.

Oh and because the world has ended, the turtles won’t NEED to hide, as there are other mutants in the world at large. I think I’ll have them live in a similar area to Mutant Town from the IDW comics. Except it’s more slum-like. Showing humanities neglect of the mutant community.

Anyway, IDEAS. GO!!

A gift from my boyfriend and (to a much lesser extent) myself to the Immortan Joe Fucker Community and the Mad Max fandom as a whole: The Mad Max universe, but with dragons. Immortan Joe's car, The Gigahorse, is instead a massive dragon. Cars still exist too, but major Warlords tend to have a dragon that bonded with them because they raid dragon nests to better control who gets the chance to try and bond with one.

Max doesn't have a dragon because he sucks at commitment, and let's face it- if he ever had a dragon it's been killed for the plot

Since this AU will likely never see the light of AO3 or of fruition, I thought I’d share some physical descriptions from it.

These are descriptions of Furiosa and Jack as different types of centaur-like beings, with two AUs planned that will never be written out likely.

For the record, an Avian Pantherataur is a subspecies of the Panthertaur and, as suggested by the name, have wings and other avian-like features alongside their panther body.

An Elkotaur is a centaur with the body and horns of an elk, the torso, arms, and head of a human, and the tail of a lion.

I wanted to share these because a while back I was passionate about creating the two AUs these would be linked to but that fizzled out and I still want to share it.

I went to see Furiosa yesterday. Cried like a baby. The scene at the pond had me in a choke hold so... ... I've sketched it. Yep yep yep. I'm lost. Cause everything could fit so easily in the Furiosa movie. Clive losing his arm ? Nearly canon. Cid in full leather ? Too. Clive bringing hope again to Cid ? (And Barnabas as Dementus ROFL).

And why does Fury Road have the best cast for fanfic?

There’s Nux - who treats Capable like a fucking goddess, has zero care for his own life and is only looking for something to pledge himself to (its Capable)

There’s Max - a quiet, deeply sad and depressed man who also always ends up doing the right thing despite bitching and moaning the whole time

The Wives - each of whom feels and are incredibly different from one another while still having a shared bond of sisterhood and survival against impossible odds

And then there is Furiosa. What to say about Furiosa beyond the fact that she is… Furiosa. My angry, tragic, broken woman who has reforged herself into a weapon of absolute steel, all to hide the scared and broken child hidden within

How That Scene Could Have Gone: Five Alternatives

"I take orders from the Octoboss." Matt sheathes his utility knife and straightens up. Dementus turns to face the man in question, hand on his revolver. Everyone present holds their breath, waiting for his response.

1) "Yeah- do what he says." The tension dissipates. The Octoboss shakes his head; before nightfall, he expects, Dementus will have spun this into another perceived challenge to his leadership. He can have no idea what's coming.

2) The Octoboss sees the barrel of a gun pointed at him and reacts. It's nothing more than a shift in his posture, a movement to get out of the line of fire, but in the tense standoff it brings weapons to everyone's hands. When the dust settles, Dementus lies dead, along with most of his inner circle. It takes the Octoboss nearly a week to die from his injuries.

3) "D, what the fuck?" They're the last words of friendship between the two warlords. A shot rings out and the Octoboss stumbles back, grazed. He's immediately dogpiled and carried to safety by his Mortifiers; Matt hurls himself at Dementus, sacrificing himself to cover their retreat. It's the first shot of the Raider Wars that will plague the Wasteland for a decade.

4) "Stand down." The Octoboss moves to stand between Matt and Dementus. "You don't get to order my men around."

"Don't I?" Dementus' eyes flash. Big Jilly and Fang are behind the Octoboss. He's stumbled straight into the trap.

When the Massacre of the Mortifiers is over, Dementus has their heads mounted on stakes along the road; only then does he allow the Octoboss to die. Five days later he's shot dead outside the gates of Gastown.

5) No one says anything. A look passes between the Octoboss and his subordinate, and suddenly Dementus is staring down a wall of silent masked faces. In the face of this united front, the cracks between the other lieutenants widen and shatter. The struggle is brief. Ten minutes later, the black sail rises in the wind and the word goes out: the Great Biker Horde is under new management.
