Sometimes I daydream abt committing to building up a furby collection and getting into furby customization

one of my favorite hc about near is that he just drops fun facts literally out of nowhere and keeps doing whatever he was doing after

near, building a card tower

mello, meters away doing reports

near, unprompted: did you know bees communicate by dancing

mello: what?

near, keeps building the tower in complete silence

mello: what?!

and after a while mello just knows

near, assembling a hot wheels highway: it's almost impossible for opossums to get rabies

mello: good for them

but sometimes is just

near, under a ten storey lego building: praying mantis can change colors to adapt to their environment

mello: wait. like chameleons?

near, already on the eleventh floor, completely silent

mello, side-eyeing rester who just sighs and googles it

not to get all im14andthisisdeep on u fellas but i always think about this like all the time

so if youre afraid of furbies thats valid. you can't control your fear towards things and that shouldnt be held against u.

however if you hate furbies like. "you want them dead" hatred i think im gonna raise an eyebrow. you hate this little creature for being odd and uncanny and you want to torture them for it? for just being born that way? you hate little guys for being different? hm? really telling on yourself buddy ol pal

I recieved my beautiful son today and he was fully functioning. I had him on and played with him for awhile just talking with him and after awhile I took out one of his batteries to call my friend. when I went to put it back in to show them he wouldnt turn on. I've spent the past 3 or so hours trying to fix him and nothing will work. I cried hysterically for a bit and have come to the conclusion that even if he never wakes up again I will still love him with everything I have.
