Have you seen the photo on Facebook of their recent reunion? I only ask, because I was the one who orchestrated it. Plug, plug.
Hey anon! Sorry for taking so long, but I assume you mean the one at the Leicester Square Theatre? I was there! It was so much fun - me and my partner sat second row and it was honestly a laugh but also dead interesting!
Thanks so much for putting it together! There better be more events!!!

Tim Brooke-Taylor Map Project
Hello!
A while ago I did a ‘map project’ for Michael Palin, which involved me marking down the locations of his fans around the world (general or specific) on a map, and sending it to him to show his work is appreciated around the world.
I was lucky enough to get a reply a few weeks after sending it!
Here’s the link to the thread as proof any of this happened and I am not, in fact, a big fat liar:
http://thepalincleeselovechild.tumblr.com/tagged/BAFTA-project
I have decided I want to make one for Tim (Brooke-Taylor), because he is one of my absolute heroes and I know he has many fans out there! I started doing one for him a couple of years back, but I never finished it because I was inundated with exams…
This is what would happen:
1. You send me your country/ area of living in (be as specific or non as you like), as well as the name you want to be known by.
2. I mark it down on the map with a sticker, and write your name and location on the back for Tim to see.
3. I write a little letter explaining the reason why he has just receieved a map, and stick it on the back next to the names.
4. We wait.
5. We never hear back, or we are lucky enough to get a reply! (not vital at all!)
So please, if you are interested send me a message with your name and location, and I will add it to the map. I will send you a message when I’ve done it, and will photograph it & post it up once it is complete, prior to sending.
Hope this makes sense – if there are any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

Come join us! We have a camera!
Or send to anyone who might be interested :))
Maybe reblog along?
Hello, fellow Goodies fans!
My fellow comedienne and I, @fuckyeahthegoodies, would like to film a spoof/parody Goodies episode! As such, since there are only two of us, barring the invention of a cloning machine, we’re looking for a Graeme! (To film with, not to make one, although that would definitely count in your favour.)
Ideal candidate would be: - 20-25 - Female - living in the north of England (Chester way) or VERY willing to travel - a budding comedienne or actor - able to take time off work or willing to travel, probably sometime next year
It’s not going to be high budget and you aren’t gonna get paid although we can chip in for petrol.
It’s all for the love of the craft (and The Goodies!)
If interested, shoot us a message!

Hey!!!! You know me, but everyone should get to know you too! Talk to my recent Goodies convert! She's super friendly and super funny and a little bit megalomaniac.... I joke.
Hey all!
New Goodies fan here, just here to enjoy the Britcom goodness and look at pictures of Graeme.

I don’t normally do fanart for something that isn’t DA related, but I think these chaps deserve it as I’ve been on yet another Goodies binge. Yes, it’s The Goodies. A trio of wannabe superheroes (From left to right - Bill, the dirty hippy, Graeme the mad scientist and Tim, the simpering royalist) who try and help out others by being…well…good.

Excellent news for Goodies Fans
ASHJGKASGJKSAHLJKGHSAGSA looks like ALL 9 SEASONS are going to be released later this year: https://www.comedy.co.uk/shop/news/2449/the_goodies_on_bbc_store/
I have been waiting for this for over 10 years, and am so freaking excited. Went looking for the video of them doing ‘Black Pudding Bertha’ from Shangalang back in the 70s and noticed that the uploader had deleted 98% of their videos including all their full length episodes of the goodies, which up until now had been my only way of viewing them, unable to access them anywhere else for love nor money. BUT. THIS YEAR. ALL EPISODES.
HYPERVENTILATING SLIGHTLY
OR MORE THAN SLIGHTLY
GOING TO HAVE A DECENT QUALITY VERSION OF GRAEME SPEAKING LATIN IN ROME ANTICS
GETTING TO SEE THEIR SATIRE ON SEXISM IN THE WORKPLACE IN CUNNING STUNTS
THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER THINGS I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO. I JUST REALLY REALLY HOPE THIS HAPPENS.

Went to see Barry Cryer and my comedic inspiration Tim Brooke-Taylor talk at my university for free. I was the youngest person there and they talked about their careers.
As it got to the end and they were stopping questions from the audience I got the balls to put my hand up. I got given the mic and asked ‘as someone getting asked if I wanna be a comedian or a comic actor… Do you think there’s a difference?’
Tim spoke about how he thinks they’re a blend but he wasn’t sure. That he loved doing silly plays etc and considered himself a comic actor. Barry related it to himself and said a comedian is a hybrid among other wonderful things I was star struck to remember right now. Tim essentially gave me a salute and a little nod and I asked one of the last questions.
After I figured I’d approach him and said I wrote him a letter a while back about my other comedy group Stale Bread and he tried to remember and said he liked the name. I said it was a while ago but basically I am in a new group and we do his kind of surrealist humour: Goodies style etc and I think it’s a hard market to break into doing 'old comedy’ and he agreed and wished me luck and I said I was a combination of his, Marty Feldman and Gene Wilder’s sense of humour and he said ah yes we bond over that. He was brilliant as willy wonka and then he apologised for not answering my question brilliantly and I apologised because British and he signed my notebook for me for free (which he shouldn’t have done) I am so proud of myself.
