Funguary Feb 6 - Angel Wing Mushroom (Pleurocybella porrigens)

The celestial Angel Wing Mushroom is the same size as the lioness that she resembles, though her proportions are very different as a result of her fungal mane. When cave lions went extinct in Britain around 10000 BC, she became very difficult to find, though she would for some time remain visible to knights on their quests or women seeking justice. When the wolf was reintroduced to some areas across the collective of islands there, she started to appear again as well. She exists only in places with strong stands of juniper and yew trees, and reproduces by spores, and is considered an aide to those who seek truth.

Finally jumping on the Funguary train!

Week 1–celestial

I am extremely busy this month and will only be able to deliver arts weekly, so I am sorry in advance :''3

The theme of this week was celestial, so my head immediately went to the beloved giant space robot god–Primus!

Say hello to my take on Primus, as a pretty lil mushroom person! For her creation I decided to utilize purple coral fungus and angel wings fungus, with the city lights on her body being a sort of a nod to mycena subcyanocephala.

I hope I can push through the funguary this time 🥲

Funguary days 4, 5, and 6! I didn’t feel like doing them earlier so I did them today lol

I considered doing some sick ass designs for Cornflower Bolete and Hairy Mycena because there was ample opportunity for it- but then I picked up my pen and out came goblins

I want to finish day 6 too, but I’m very sleepy now so there’s a low chance I’ll do it today lol
