yourusername Been reading so many opinions about my own private life and I thought that the best thing I can do is address this because I'd never imagine I could dissapoint so many people just for loving someone.

I've been working really hard making a name in this industry because I love motorsports, not for any other reasons. And I wasn't aware of being a role model until now, which is something I'm still getting used to it. But overall, who I choose to date has nothing to do with my job.

Dating the amazing man that Carlos is was just a perk of working in F1, and even though I'm technically a wag now (it's really weird to worded 😨) I will keep working hard in F1 and other categories for the love I have for this industry.

His powers are kinda scary- he has a bunch of candy, obviously, but they’re not normal candy. As soon as you eat one of his candies, you slowly turn into one of his candy minions and follow him wherever he goes, like some kind of zombie (whatever that means-)

I’m not sure what he is honestly, like obviously he’s a candy monstrosity, but idk if that’s gum, some weird form of cotton candy or even ice cream-

He is a BIIIIIIIIIGGGGGG BOI

He can speak, but he usually just roars, growls and groans most of the time

Pruett heirs reimagined

Only like 2.5 of you will even recognize these guys, but I'm gonna post anyway lol. I started my first legacy story immediately when the game released and didn't get into cc until maaaaany years later. I thought it would be fun to make them over in my current style.

I also didn't start saving my sims until generation 4, so I'm missing the second and third heirs. Finally, the founder had children when he was an elder, and back in those days when parents had gray hair it would give the kids blonde hair. ALL of my heirs through gen had blonde hair smh lol.

Anyway, without further ado, I give you my heirs!

Xavier Pruett, founder

Occupation: tech career

Fun fact: He got married and had children so late because his first fiance aged up to elder the night before their wedding and he had to start all over to find someone else.

Jayden Pruett, generation 4

Occupation: author

Fun fact: He was very serious and excited about being a Pruett heir and gave his high school sweetheart a promise ring. That was the beginning of the dissolution of their marriage lol.

Brandon Pruett, generation 5

Occupation: none

Fun fact: Brandon was the first heir to not have a career. He was good with his hands and modernized the Pruett estate. (translation: He maxed out the handiness skill and upgraded EVERYTHING)

Lance Pruett, generation 6

Occupation: comedian

Fun fact: It took me until generation 7 to realize I had a naming convention for the heirs. My readers pointed out all the heirs had names that ended with the "an" sound, and I broke that with Lance. When they pointed this out, I started it back up in gen 7. (Previous heirs were Donovan, Aiden, Jayden, Brandon)

Brady Pruett, generation 7

Occupation: celebrity personal trainer

Fun fact: He is a triplet, and his brother was supposed to be the heir. But he was a fan favorite, and I loved him as well. So I made up a legit reason for why the other guy (Owen) would abdicate lol.

Julian Pruett, generation 8

Occupation: none

Fun fact: He and his wife had a slooooooooow burn, therefore making generation 8 the longest generation by far.

Jonathan Pruett, generation 9

Occupation: restaurateur/chef

Fun fact: He was a very spoiled rich kid and actually lost the family fortune later on. He has a spin off story that picks up with him getting back on his feet and starting a new restaurant. I really need to finish that story, but I probably won't.

There is a generation 10, but I ended the story shortly after the first gen 10 kid was born even though she was not the heir. Actually, I think I'm on 12 or 13 now. Anyway, the heir of that generation would have been Benjamin, and he had a twin named Adrian. Anyway, thanks for indulging this trip waaaaay down memory lane.

Log 01: A Note and Meeting Qiu and Tamarack (Long Post)

Something about this intro... It makes my heart ache in the best way possible. It's the start, the start to a new section of a new life. It is the Fall, the air is cooling down and I can feel it hitting my nose.

*Forgive me, I shall be using MC thoughts as that of my own and basing things off of how I would react, I shall be using first person writing

I decided, since my MC is 10 and I was a little bit of a nut at this time, I would have him believe that it was a ghost that poked him instead of him being rational about it.

He gets greeted with this paper, and... Honestly, how WOULD your little kid thoughts (esp that of someone who did believe in ghosts) think this meant?

I really, truly wished to be Nancy Drew or one of the Hardy Boys. I spend so much time watching mysteries with my mom. Probably way too much time.

Too bad I am going to break those rules, Mother! Muahahaha! I am a little troublemaker. Just kidding. However, it's okay. I have a way to bend the rules... Just a little bit ;)

When I saw that you had posted Chapter 2 for YKIKR, something lit up inside of me. You absolutely deserve the praise you received for Chapter 1. It was delectable! And I knew that this would be just as delicious to take in. Dick Grayson is back in the building (aka my brain), and he's a welcome presence. Fun fact, but Saturdays are always blue to me, so this being posted on a Saturday feels so fitting because that's his color. (Also, I'm in awe that my ask about Chapter 1 is something you think about daily. But it makes me glad that I send these asks to writers.)

I love how we just see the Reader (who I'm dubbing DR, for Detective Reader, from now on) absolutely want to kill Dick for this. Because y'know what, I'd want to kill him too! He drops by DR's apartment late at night as Nightwing, all but confirming the theory he and Dick Grayson are the same, and yet this man is somehow awake, functioning, and presentable. That's evil to me. (Not in the normal evil way, but I mean, how can you be all three before nine in the morning. I'm only ever functioning and presentable before nine in the morning, I'm never truly awake until eleven.)

Sincerely, I would kick him and find a way to frame it as an accident. Just to frumple him up somehow, if that were possible.

Also, can we talk about this paragraph you wrote in Dick's perspective, the one where he thinks how, "It wasn’t that he objected to her as a partner - short of his family, she was possibly the best he’d ever met. Frankly, if she was transferred to Gotham, the bat signal would be turned on far less frequently."

LIKE HELLO?? I see that as an absolute win!! That is a wild comparison to make (at least to me, with what I know about the Batfamily), that's amazing! If DR were in Gotham, she'd be run ragged, but he's right. The bat signal would probably be turned on less frequently. And I love how he just....god, he feels so bright here. He's always been bright to me in a way that makes you want to be enveloped by the brightness. And that's what I read him as here, and that younger version of me is sitting right next to me, reading and feeling the same way. I know I said it last time, but you really have portrayed him so well. I may be older, but god does it feel like time had stopped and only now resumed.

Anyway, can we also discuss these sentences where you wrote about how Dick feels about DR's smile?? Because that floored me and made me kick my feet. That man is smitten, and I am **here** for it!! (Pretend that here was bolded, I'm drafting this ask in my notes app, lol)

But seriously, boo to McElroy. Awful man, I will not give you the time of day. (But as someone who has dealt with sexual harrassment, I think you wrote DR's perspective about him being back very tastefully, and it was realistic to me with how she would be feeling. Also Dick is gonna fuck him up at some point, I feel it in every fiber of my being. Even if he doesn't do so in the manner we, the readers, would expect. Because, the claws may not have receded, but they have relaxed. You've got something going on here.)

I love that Dick trusts her. He's only gotten an introduction from McIdiot (that's his name now, to me), but he trusts DR's gut. He saw her reaction to the guy. The venom he held back will intermingle with the words in his throat at some point (I'm typing this as I read), and they will make for a dangerous pair.

Moving on, I do want to say I laughed out loud when this line popped up: "Was it deceptive? Well, no more than anything else he did as Nightwing… well, maybe a little more. "

Because honestly, yeah, anything he does as Nightwing is technically deceptive. But the framing of this line......okay, it reminded me of a literary technique we learned the actual name of in one of my lit classes (I'm an English major; I didn't know the formal name for the term, but I knew what it was): free indirect discourse. Obviously, this is fanfiction, and yada yada yada yah, but like. It's so funny, idk. I love it. (It is not my favorite/the best bit ((imo)), though!! That's at the end :) )

For a few seconds, I forgot this series had so much going on besides the romance aspects, lol. And I really enjoy when that happens, because it makes my reading experience better all the more. Like, they're mutually crushing on one another, and one of them is a superhero, and oh yeah, they're tracking a serial killer. I love the intermingling of ideas.

Also, he really did commit the cheesiest move known to history. Pebbles at the window.....Dick Grayson/Nightwing would. (I think both personas would, personally.)

Your style is so hilarious to read. I love the way your thoughts blend into the story, the way you weave funny little bits in. Your articulation, your word choice are both awesome (think of it in the way you'd see the word used before our time, like how it was used in the early 1900s). I love seeing you bleed into the story, even if it's just a little bit.

The fact that Dick still thinks DR doesn't know he's Nightwing is the best thing, to me. It's a great situation because he's misreading his own last name to keep a cover he's already lost. What a ham. I mean, he blew it when he asked abkut himself first, and now he's finding out how he's given away details of who he could be during his non-superhero time. And that's the second best part of this chapter to me, that he gets to see that if you paid close enough attention (like DR!!), anyone with a good head on their shoulders could piece together that he is (at the very least) a superhero.

DR seeing Dick as a corrupt cop (whether or not to make it so he doesn't catch on to her knowing his double identity) is a great detail. Because now there's this risk for him. He has to shut down that idea for her, but he can't make it obvious, he can't interfere too much as Nightwing. That's like giving an affidavit, confessing Dick Grayson was the first Robin, and now is Nightwing.

Did I want to howl in pain from the idea you placed in front of me that Dick Grayson would never get to tell DR how wonderful she is, that he'll never get to confess to her? Yes. But that's the beauty of this duel identity. Although, I'd like to point out that you wrote that, "he’d never feel that warmth of 10,000 stars directed at the real him", with the key phrase here being the real him.

AND DON'T THINK I MISSED THAT PRINCESS BRIDE REFERENCE WITH THE "As You Wish" THING. (Unless I'm reading too much into this, and it is not a reference, lol. In that case, pretend you did not see this.) That does so much here, and I know you know what you did with this. But know that I know what you did with this, and it makes me insane.

If I could, I'd reach through my phone screen and shake you right now. Oh my goddddddddddddd!!!!!!! Okay, onto my favorite/the best part (imo) before I go balls to the walls insane.

The best part of this chapter, to me, was when you wrote how Dick knew what it felt like to fly. And that DR made him feel that way, if not better. To have (as you wrote) "gravity become an afterthought" because of a person must be an exhilerating and fantastic experience. For that to be how Dick feels about her. After everything he's gone through - everything he's experienced - it's amazing. It does something to me, gives me this unknown feeling that rides my train of thought. I love it.

my coin thing tag has a lot about him and his friends (mostly art, I leave most of my textposts untagged lol) But Coins an OC I've had since around the beginning of the year who took over my brain bc Im a fan of guys with long hair and issues lmao. More about him under the cut bc this was a lot longer than I had expected

He a traveling huntsman (not a fancy term, hes just really good at hunting animals) who lost an arm in a "hunting accident" he would not talk about if someone tried to waterboard it out of him. (had a nasty argument with his former hunting partners, fucked off, got his arm cut off. never told anyone what happened)

To most he comes across hes a tired guy who seems at least somewhat disconnected from the world around him whos looking for jobs to get the money he needs to keep himself alive and not much else. That is until he saves a rich girl named Charlotte from some sort of monster thing (I havent figured out what it is yet), and she offers him a job as a guard as she travels to a southern country. He agrees due to the pay being good, despite the fact hes been isolating himself from people for years bc of severe depression 'people are annoying'. Along the way the two pick up some other weirdos, mostly bc Charlottes really friendly and likes to pick up new friends, much to Coins annoyance.

Things then Happen, Occur even, but I am saving those for later. BUT!! some other, non. idk. spoilery fun facts about him are;

He grew up in a small countryside village where he learned to hunt and swordfight

His father left when he was really little and he sees no reason to care about him. His mother owns and works in the towns butcher shop and taught him to hunt. He's also got an older brother and younger sister

His younger sister is a recently turned werewolf who got drafted into a secret vampire turf war bc the vampires, for some reason, thought she was a vampire. There is one (1) vampire who knows shes a werewolf who she has insane toxic yuri with. He knows about literally none of this

He was extremely proficient with a bow before losing his arm, and also fought with dual swords. He really misses doing both of these

He was left handed. Lost his left arm

He has chronic insomnia and after being knocked out with sleeping powder by Charlottes pirate bestie (long story), he started snorting it to get to sleep bc straight up cant otherwise. They later meet and begin traveling with a doctor who almost kills him over this

He's not a magic user but seems completely immune to side effects caused by spells that happen to non-mages as a result of their bodies not being used to magic. Odd!

Theres a pink haired guy who he keeps running into at bars and inns who is ridiculously in love with him. Coin hates him and wants nothing to with him

Coins name means something relating to hunting in his native language, and he chose his name without knowing it was a term for currency in the second language he learns to speak later. He decided to stick with it

IRL his name came from me going "damn. I have no idea what to name this guy." and a friend of mine going "COIN" immediately after. I said I could not possibly name him that and then did

Coin and Charlotte are literally the only two people/things I have named for this thing despite having it for months bc I am really bad at naming things

I’m gonna do these all as a set. They flow together as one long scene, so it makes sense. Then I’ll do another combined post on episodes 24 and 25, the second half of the story of Ben’s party vlogs. Long post under the cut!

Episode 21: hello guys i’m at pedro’s party

- Ben starts out very enthusiastic at the beginning of this clip (party party party!) but immediately gets uncomfortable when people start walking past him and it occurs to him that other people can see him vlogging. Add it to the social anxiety headcanon evidence list!

- Hero walks by and says “Batman.” And here’s the thing: she should be able to guess that it’s Ben in that costume. He’s the only one of the boys who would be filming because he’s the only one with his own channel.

- That means either she really isn’t paying attention, or Beatrice never asks where Ben is in front of Hero- or, Hero chooses not to tell Bea that Ben is there or what his costume is.

- Or she does tell Bea and Bea knows it’s Ben she’s talking to when she fires off all those insults later. I tend to think Bea does not realize she’s talking to Ben in that moment, but I had to mention the possibility.

- I’m going to watch the Bea insults Ben at the party clip now, just for fun. That video will still get its own post later, this is just an experiment to see if watching that scene first gives me any new insight into Ben’s videos about it.

- It is interesting to think about the fact that if you’re watching the series as it airs in 2014, at this point you don’t know if you’ll ever actually see the Bea insulting Ben scene itself. For all you know, Ben’s POV might be the only one you get.

- We can assume that in between this video and the next, Ben finds Pedro’s laptop, posts this video (unless he filmed and posted the first video on his phone, which seems unlikely but would be faster), then joins the party and starts drinking and dancing. Episode 22: bath time it’s a bath im not actually having a bath

- First of all, shoutout to belovedcreation’s Beadick anniversary future fanfic that’s named after this episode (rated M so look it up only if you’re cool with that)

- Okay, back to the present. “Parties bring out the sad bitterness in people” definitely feels connected to “vlogging takes the sadness away”. I think this is the episode that starts Ben down the path of emotional dependence on the camera. He’s hurt, and it makes him want to brood alone instead of talk to anyone in person about it.

- “Some… princesses… are bad for your health” is a hell of a line, lol

- “Bad for your mental stability and your general well being” oh hohohoho don’t get me started on your mental health mister, I’ve literally written novellas.

- “Not to mess with people’s emotions or screw with their heads” - That’s interesting, because it sounds like Ben thinks Beatrice did know it was him she was talking to, and that she was insulting him to his face on purpose.

- “When you have a bad thought, you should just keep it to yourself.” Says the guy who called Beatrice a bitchface on camera and posted it. As lovingly as possible, *Meg’s Hypocritical song from lolilo plays in the distance*

- “Go away, I’m Batman!” Another underrated classic NMTD moment right here. I almost forget that he’s talking in the Batman voice until this line, and it cracks me up every time.

Episode 23: Claudio joins me in the bath of emotion

- Is it me or is Ben acting 100% more drunk in this episode than the last one? I bet he was drinking while uploading the last video. Not healthy to drink alone, bud.

Either he’s just that insecure, or maybe he doesn’t really watch the videos and Ben told him Hero wanted him to go as a cowboy? Idk

- “you silly billy” “I am a little tipsy yes” ADORABLE

- Why is “he’s stating the obvious now isn’t he” the actual flirtiest thing Ben has ever said lol

- There it is, he DOES have a drink with him, he did get drunker between last episode and this episode

- “I don’t know what it is but it’s so good, it makes my tongue go all tingly” Ben. That might mean you’re allergic to it. Don’t ever drink something if you don’t know what it is! (It’s probably just that it’s carbonated, but still.)

- “The camera takes your sadness and makes it go poof” is an important character sentiment for Ben that will come up again. This IS where his attachment to the camera first starts to get unhealthy!

- Claudio is angry angsty, while Ben is sad angsty. You can tell Claudio will lash out at others about it while Ben will mostly just lash out at himself and the camera.

- Claudio leaves, Ben promises to tell Hero bye for him, and turns off the camera. Why are these all separate videos he turns the camera off after making? Maybe shorter videos are easier to edit quicker.

- Comments: loving on Tipsy Ben, being sad for Claudio, clocking Claudio’s cowboy costume as being for Hero. One comment saying Claudio doesn’t even seem to like Ben, which makes me sad because Ben is currently worrying that his friends don’t like him.

- Favorite comment: sydneymcgowan with “he looks like a little angel boy aw Ben”

ART FIGHT SUMMARY 2024, SUCKAHS!

Second year of ArtFight and the first year I went all in on it. As opposed to my 4 attacks from 2023, this year I submitted 13! Before that, though, I gotta share others' attacks against me.

First, of course, is the lovely @pixel-exchange of Team Stardust who somehow managed to pump out *4* banger attacks against me this year! We were in a heated revenge war, which he ultimately beat me at, but I don't mind much, with how awesome his stuff was. I love how each turned out. I think my favorite may have been "Alone on the Moon", featuring my astronaut dog gal, Laika.

Second person to attack was @headphones-lifeform of Team Stardust who made this adorable bust of my Star Trek OC, Nurse Telos! He just looks wonderful, mad shoutouts to them!

Third is from a mutual of mine who actually attacked me in 2023; Croconiles from Stardust! (Twitter/Insta) He drew my skunk OC, Stripes, and she turned out heckin' excellent! Love that eyeshadow and the big nose.

Fourth is this hilarious little piece for my boy Werner by fellow Trekkie, @lyroart of Stardust! Love how goofy and weird his expression here is. Perfect for him with how wacky he is.

And lastly, we got this cute wittle pixel art profile for Laika from RevlisFox on Team Stardust. (CharHub) Looks super cute and I could totally imagine having something like this for a little family chart or the like.

Now, to move onto my attacks, firstly I have my revenge war with Pixel-Exchange. Big fan of how the first 2 looked, but the third was admittedly rushed. Still though, mate has some sweet designs.

Second, I have my attacks against LyRo the goat. Drew some of their Star Trek OCs. Calvin had my favorite design (guess why) but I really enjoyed Ena's personality, so I attacked em both!

Next we have my revenge against Headphones. I really liked this design for Niph in particular (guess why) and I really liked the concept for a cave-dwelling crewmate. Felt weird drawing props for once lol.

Next revenge was for Croconiles, with his silly little OC couple, Darby and Animal. Felt like it'd be fun to draw two characters interacting, and I like how they look in my style. Plus I just love the slight texture on his art.

And, the last of my revenges here is one against RevlisFox with this art of a character whose name I forgot. 😰 SORRY the character page got privated, I gotta wait until it's back up again. In any case, this was my final attack this year, and though a simple one, idk I kinda liked how it turned out.

So, moving away from revenges, here's my plain ol' attacks against artists I like!

First are my attacks against Keiiphobix (YT/Insta) of Team Stardust! No joke, one of my new favorite artists on AF. Just wicked good, man! I drew his lil guy, Maurice (ISTG HE IS THE CUTEST FUCKING THING EVERRRRR) and Joy, who is the just spikiest fella ever <3

Next was Callum by PeculiarPossom (Twitter/Etsy) of Team Seafoam! Just a skinny freaky lil possum drummer boy. I can relate to his struggle of being a drummer with no band lol. Fun fact: I was in Canada when I drew this! Shoutout Quebec

After this is art of le bird boy, Matteo, owned by a YouTuber I watch, RedPanda Master! (YT/DA) I initially fell in love with them for their silly lil WoF shitposts, but I thought Matteo was just adorable, and a must-draw! They have some awesome fantasy designs, but a lotta them were too complex for me, so I naturally settled for the easiest and cutest one.

And finally, we come to the end of this longass megapost and arrive at my attack of @asrielwithans on Team Stardust, and no joke this may be my favorite attack I did. Aside from not really capturing the eeriness of Hollypaw, I love how this turned out. I first saw their Warriors fan content last year and I have been obsessed ever since. That Christmas Kids animation has been on loop in my brain for MONTHS. Their stuff is metal, seriously, Warriors fans and animatic fans, go watch it NOW.

Welp.... that's the end of my exhaustive post of my ArtFight activity this year. I definitely shoulda split this up into several smaller posts and I probably shouldn't have rambled so much in between the art but DAMN IT, I love all these artists and I needed to talk about each of em. Seriously, go follow all of them, go comment on their stuff, go share it around. I'm so thankful for the crazy amount of attention I got this year by those who attacked me, and I hope all the artists who I attacked loved seeing art of their characters. Dorbrak of Izganda backstory and character details

Basically me dumping all the info related to Dorbrak into a singular Tumblr post. This includes spoilers for the main series, mainly spoilers for the backstory of Senshi. If you're chill with that, read on ahead!

Dorbrak was a dwarf born out of their mother's infidelity, and was thus given a mocking name which meant “a loving fool” in dwarfish. Her time growing up in her town wasn't that great, but she had gotten along great with one other dwarf: Senshi. The two became quite close friends, until one day when he left. She somehow was able to stay behind for a couple more years, facing ridicule and mockery every day until they came up with a bogus reason to send her out. With nowhere to go and nothing to do, she decided to finally go after Senshi and find out what he was up to. It took another few years, she had even died at one point, but she eventually found the dungeon he had been trapped in with his comrades. She continued to venture deep inside, somehow managing to survive the monsters until she met up with the orcs. They took her prisoner and that was when she finally met up with Senshi again. He was touched that she spent years looking for him, and eventually fought for her freedom alongside his own. After that, she decided to always stick by his side, leaving the dungeon with him and happily deciding to go back in with him when he had changed his mind. She knew something happened to his party members, but all she had gotten out of him was that a monster picked them off one by one, and he was the only one who lived. She never pushed for more than that, even if she got the sense he hadn't told her the full story.

She taught Senshi everything he knows about baking, and he in turn taught her everything he knew about cooking. Together they became passionate about food, and they continued to bond over hunting and eating monsters. One night, while making some bread, she expressed thoughts of leaving the group and letting Senshi do his thing “alone and happy,” pointing out her name meant something. He replied he always thought it meant she was “fool” of love, and from that she finally confessed the romantic feelings he had developed for him since they were kids. He returned the feelings, and the two began dating from then on. They're affectionate with each other, but they don't overdo it on the PDA. It's mostly hand holding with a cheek kiss here and there, sometimes a kiss on the lips if they feel like it. In fact, no one had known they were a couple until Marcille asked if they were crushing on each other. Despite how many years they've been together however (a little over 40 years now), neither have thought about the idea of marriage. Dorbrak and Senshi think a wedding would be fun to cook for, but that's about it. Parenthood is similar, they both think they'd enjoy it but it would involve having to give up their lifestyle for a few years until the child could go on adventures with them as well. Marcille does push for it slightly, but never in an overbearing way, moreso in an excited “I think you guys are an adorable couple and I want to be a godmother” sense.

Dorbrak is a very kind individual, they treat everyone they meet with the same level of sweetness one could expect from a mother. When she cares deeply about someone, she's always checking in on their well-being. Have they eaten, do they need to eat, are they bored and need company, do they need anything in general, etc etc. Sometimes she’ll even be careless about her own wellbeing, putting herself in harm's way for silly reasons. That alongside the meaning of her name has led to people assuming she's not that bright, and while that might be true socially, she knows just as much about monsters and cooking as Senshi does. She just doesn't fight as well as he can, and she usually prefers to stay out of the fighting anyways. She does have insecurities about her attachments to Senshi, as she honestly hasn't had any friends besides him until Laios and his party came along. It's a sore subject in general, but overtime as their attachments to the other party members grow the insecurity lessens and lessens until it's eventually gone. Other than that, he's not ashamed of who he is and will happily express his true self daily.

DJ Music Man

VERY vaguely based on a Goliath Bird Eater, since they’re the biggest spider. I thought it’d fit this big guy.

Fun fact: if you google “Goliath Bird Eater face” one of the first results is actually the face of a wolf spider.

…I’ve spent a lot of time looking at spider faces. I can recognize a lot of them based on head shape and eye placement now.

Mini Music Men ! (and their ruined forms)

They’re all based on different spiders, which will be explained under the cut, as well as close ups cuz I don’t want this post to be super annoying to scroll past

Hip Hop (Jumping Spider)

Hip Hop is the only one with a name so far, and he’s based on a jumping spider! I had a good idea of what spiders I knew I wanted to include when starting these designs, and you best believe jumping spiders were on that list. They’re just very recognizable, and their eye placements are just very unique. That’s something I tried to accomplish with these designs too; chose spiders with unique eye placements from one another. Since it gives more variety to each music man.

He was actually the first one I designed and was part of the original 4 I designed way back in July of last year, the other three being Wolf Spider, Trapdoor, and Daddy Long Legs.

Also, making him the rabbit ruined music man was completely coincidental, I wasn’t even thinking about how perfect that was until after I had already finished all the designs. I’m just glad I happened to choose that cuz man it lines up so well. Cuz. Cuz jumping spider. And rabbits are known to jump-

Wolf Spider

I don’t have a too awful lot to say on this guy. Sweet old man. When I saw the eye placements for wolf spiders, I was having a hard time trying to figure out how to incorporate it in a way that was appealing. And then it hit me: put the lower four on a mustache. And then he just became an old man after that.

Trapdoor Spider

This guy’s based on a trapdoor spider— SPECIFICALLY a cork lid trapdoor spider. This is mainly cuz normal trapdoors don’t really stand out too much appearance wise. They look like a stereotypical venomous spider I think. But then! I remembered the cork lid trapdoor spider, and that one definitely stands out. The main thing that makes it stand out so much is that, compared to the average spider, it’s missing like, half its abdomen, the back end of which has a very interesting pattern.

I don’t know if it’s communicated well from this angle, but he’s missing half his abdomen, but in a way where it’s clear he was built that way, given the placement of his wind. I also included designs on his wind to kind of represent the designs real cork lids have on their abdomens.

Daddy Long Legs

Yes, I know daddy long legs aren't actually a spider, but it felt wrong not to include one, so I did it anyways.

This fella actually has a tiny bit of lore. Basically, he's an early prototype model of the mini music men, hence why he appears out of date compared to the others. And run down too; his age means more time for wear and tear to have occurred, hence his missing abdomen (which was really just a design choice I made in order to reference how daddy long legs don't have as many body segments as actual spiders).

Brown Recluse

Now we're onto the spiders that weren't in the original batch. Brown Recluse, as well as the other two after this, were actually concepts I made not too long after the first time I drew the original 4, however they never went far beyond just concepts. Until recently.

There's not much I can say about their design. It's not shown here but they actually play the violin, since one of the recognizable features of a brown recluse is the violin shape present on their back. So I guess that's that their limb shapes come from; they vaguely resemble the shape of violin bows. Kind of. Idk don't look too deep into it.

Black Widow

This one I kinda just threw stuff at a wall until something stuck. I still really like how she turned out tho. I tried making her wind pointier to kind of resemble the hourglass shape on their abdomen that black widows are so infamous for. I don't know if that's clear or not though.

Black Widow and Brown Recluse is where I sorta broke my main rule when picking spiders, which was, as stated earlier, to pick ones with unique eye placements. Black widows and brown recluses have very similar, if not identical eye placements. But I decided to overlook it cuz I wanted to include both of them.

Yellow Orb Weaver

When I was initially designing this one, I don't think I had a specific orb weaver in mind. Because back then, I had no idea how diverse orb weavers actually are. So after some consideration, and looking at the design I had already made, I decided that he's based on a yellow orb weaver. Mainly just cuz I wanted more variety in the hues I was using for these guys' colors.

I don't have much else to say on this dude. I just made him super lanky cuz the shapes were interesting.

What started as a stream bet of Beomgyu having to put his next Uber eats pick up order under the name ‘Darling’ turned into an ongoing stream bit where he orders under the name Darling and rates how well the lovely workers behind the counter say it. It’s all fun and games and helps keeps his views up until the seemingly quiet barista at the new cafe on the corner makes him wish she’d call him darling every day of his life. Will the rizzless Beomgyu and his 4 lovable pain in his asses help him win over the barista’s heart? ♡︎

CHAPTER 001.Cafe Orders

"How's your first day treating you, y/n?"

You slightly jump at the sudden voice of your boss, fingers swiftly typing before shoving your phone in your back pocket. Turning, you face the older man who's patiently waiting for your answer with a smile. "Its going well actually! Everyone here is super helpful and the customers have been very understanding that its my first day." He nodded in relief, "I'm glad, keep up the good work!", before turning on his heels to tend to other parts of the cafe.

You immediately turned to begin working on the order for 'Darling'. "Two vanilla lattes, extra shots, one iced caramel coffee with whip, a large black coffee, and a vanilla ice coffee." You muttered as you tried to remember every drink as you began to work on it. Luckily, cafe's are where you felt the most at home. The bitter smell of coffee grounds and espresso always made you feel cozy and left a permanent smile on your face. You began setting the properly sized cups in front of you, pumping in any flavored syrups needed as per the order.

"Need any help with that?" You looked up at your coworker who appeared right beside you, Hyunjin if you could remember correctly. "Honestly, a little..the drinks are easy but there are five of them" You replied with a thankful smile. He had been the most helpful of your coworkers during your shift so far and you were appreciative of that fact.

After about ten minutes of you an Hyunjin putting together these drinks, the order was perfectly made and finally done. The five drinks were tucked into some cupholders and placed on the pick up counter.

"Don't worry about asking for help on order if you need, especially since you're new, it's no bother to us!" You nodded with a smile, quickly getting distracted by a customer coming up to the register.

"Hi, welcome in, is there anything I can get for ya?" With you best customer service grin, you watched the guy in front of you and waiting for his response. His smile in response caught you off guard, not because of the gesture, but because of how..pretty his smile was. "Oh, I'm here for a pick up order." Your eyes widened as his words reeled you back in, quickly glancing over at the pick up counter to hide the soft hue that threatened to form on your face. Luckily, there had only been one pick up order so you could finish this interaction quickly.

"Ah, okay it should be this one, pick up order for Darling, right?" You pick up the drinks and flash another customer service smile back at him. His own smile had somewhat faltered yet you couldn't read his expression as a bad one. Had you done something wrong nonetheless? "Y-yeah, that's for me." He quickly grabbed the drinks, nodding as a thank you before making his way towards the door.

"Hope you enjoy your coffees, darling!" You called out behind, hoping you didn't make a bad impression on a customer on your first day.

omg do you guys wanna hear about the church family tree from my rvb fantasy au. i spent quite a bit of time working it out bc, since its fantasy, theres no ai and i had to figure out how it would translate lol

this will contain mild spoilers for my au but a) it doesnt exist yet and b) most of them are derived from the plot of rvb so theyre kind of already spoiled. so. anyway, on to the actual post

ok so first off. church (alpha) has DID. so all the ai fragments exist but theyre no longer ai and theyre in his head the whole time. and this includes beta!tex (tentatively called beth? since tex also exists. we'll get to that). it also includes epsilon which will be. interesting. i have some ideas for how to handle that but its kinda besides the point.

the director is churchs father, and allison is churchs mother (who dies when church is a kid). the director is also carolinas father, but carolina has a different mother, so church and carolina are half siblings. tex was also raised by the director but she is not blood related to any of them - she bears a coincidental resemblance to allison (in personality, not necessarily physical appearance), which is why the director favours her over carolina (keeping the carolina/tex favourite child tension, of course). i havent worked out exactly when the director took in tex, but if it was early enough that the director named her, he probably would have named her allison (i mean, he also named his son after himself in this au. you know he'd do it, ESPECIALLY if allison is already dead at this point) and she chooses to go by tex or smth. alternatively, the director named her tex the same way he named the other freelancers like washington and york, keeping the whole "leaving your old name (read: old self) behind when you join the freelancers" thing from canon, meaning that her previous name (and whether she had one at all) is irrelevant. hmmm now that i say that, its probably the latter tbh

now, i may keep beth being based on allison, but while i know what an introject is, i dont know if i feel comfortable really. representing one. so it may not be CANON canon but itll probably be canon to me. additionally, church is raised separately from carolina, tex, and eventually the other freelancers [the freelancers are kinda like a family in this au btw. but like a fucked up hierarchal one. and church is completely isolated from it even though the director is "raising" him. anyway] for plot reasons, but he coincidentally runs into tex one day as kids and they meet in secret for years until tex eventually helps him escape the director. which is to say. beth will likely pick up traits/mannerisms from tex just by virtue of tex being churchs only friend in childhood, combined with the fact that allison and tex are kind of similar in personality. so shes blood related to allison and potentially an introject of her, and has spent a lot of time with tex/knows her very well, so shes gonna have similarities to both of them but she is ultimately her own person. in churchs head.

"Steve," Nancy says, putting her hands on her hips, a gesture Steve knows she picked up from him and kept, even now, years after their time together ended. "What?" he asks, his hands hitting his own hips, mirroring her. 

freckles (from my "Steddie Coded Title" fic that I want to finish someday)

"I've missed you, too, sweetheart," Eddie tells him, and leans forward to press kisses against Steve's back, his shoulders. Following the familiar trail of moles and freckles. Making sure to greet the new additions with as much love as he's showing the ones he's known forever.

sunlight (from a scrapped piece of Tuesday's Gone With the Wind, I guess?)

Apparently, I don't use the word sunlight that often. It popped up in two posted fics, and then in one document of 141 words that had to have been cut from some sort of early version of Tuesday's Gone With the Wind but I have no memory of writing them, haha. So, here.

Eddie is in bed.  Steve draws open the curtains, letting the harsh sunlight in.  "C'mon. Wayne's waiting," Steve says gently.

He's done this over and over, probably half a dozen times or more by now. Sneaking out of bed in the early morning hours, and Steve has let him go without saying a word. Until now. Until he caught him red-handed, and there was no way to ignore it.  And when he did that, when he looked at him with those sad fucking eyes, Eddie couldn't pull the trigger. Couldn't just slink off. Not if Steve was aware of it, not if he fully realized what was happening.

10. If you could write an episode for the show, what would it be about?

bonding. 30 minutes of uninterrupted brotherly bonding. they can still be on a mission, you KNOW there would be angst (that doesn’t just get swept under the rug immediately), but it would come with a subplot of Echo reminiscing about the 501st, Crosshair showing his softer side, and Wrecker actually getting to show his emotional intelligence. i would be sobbing the entire time and i NEED IT.

16. What are some headcanons you have about Echo?

oh boy, i’m just gonna scroll through my notes app and see what I find lol:

Echo is very careful not to leave a lasting mark on the places he stays. He went through the pain of walking through the 501st venator and seeing all the reminders, the names carved on bunks, the painted lockers, the items left behind by fallen brothers. He’s been reminded of lost brothers by the things they’ve left behind before, and he refuses to do that to anyone else again.

After Echo joined the Bad Batch, they had a bad accident with some droid poppers downing Echo which resulted in him being the only one allowed to carry them, but even then he rarely does.

While Tech has a bunch of useful info memorized on a whole bunch of topics, Echo has a million super obscure fun facts that pop up at random. He has a lot of random hyperfixations and comes away from them with little things that, on rare occasions, turn out to be super helpful.

He’s very fond of the idea of “Do as I say, not as I do” when it comes to giving advice. He will yell at people to sleep and then stay up until 4am filling out reports. I can see him settled down on Pabu posting cooking tutorials to the holonet and being like “Remember to wear gloves when you take stuff out of the oven guys, don’t be like me.”

Echo sleeps curled into a little ball, knees drawn up to his chest. He turns his back to the wall when he’s anxious, but he’ll roll over if he feels safe enough and just wants to hide. If he’s in a medbay with no wall to use for cover, he sleeps protecting his one good arm with the rest of his body.

well other than saying ALL OF THEM, i would have to say Crosshair because not only would he get so pissed about it, but he absolutely deserves it. the stale crouton man needs some cuddles and i think it would fix something in him.

I've realized I haven't spoken much about myself aside from my boundaries and guys know like nothing about me!! I know it's not required you know me when but I'm terrible at being dark and mysterious..

Basic Things To Know! +me yapping

⨳ I roleplay! I'm a literate/somewhat Novella roleplayer on discord. I can write most characters if I study them for a bit and I'm in the fandom but not Katsuki and Izuku for some reason.. I have written Katsuki before but I never know what to say. I kind of write the same things over and over again. It's sad and embarrassing. </3 I'm most confident in my portrayal of Iguro Obanai from demon slayer. He's my favorite character and I think I write him pretty well!

⨳ I'm an artist! Sometimes.. I do commissions but I consider myself a beginner artist. I can't draw hands or perspective well and I suck at anatomy. But I do have pieces that I'm proud of! I'm not linking them though because I don't feel like searching for them.

⨳ I love music! Since like elementary school, I've been heavily involved with music. I played the violin and I was first chair until the end up middle school! I haven't picked it up since then because quarantine kinda ruined it for me and I SUCK at tuning instruments so I ended up taking theatre in high school. When I get my violin tuned, I might start playing again. I haven't stopped loving music though. I have two guitars (That I have no desire to play) and I'm kind of obsessed with the drums. I got out of classical music and really want to be in a band. I also really want to share my music taste.

I want to start doing it again but tbh I don't really know if it's my thing,, I cosplayed from JJBA and it was SO fun. The lines for the makeup was my favorite thing to do. Of course, I didn't have costumes or wigs for any of the characters I cosplayed. The only character I did relatively well on was Ermes because I had boxbraids in 😭. People were like "You're literally Ermes irl!" Because I'm lightskinned with boxbraids cosplaying a character that's lightskinned with boxbraids and I thought that was really silly. I want to cosplay her again because that was one of my favorites. I would share the cosplay but I'm not really up for sharing my face on here yet or at all LOL ⨳ OC writing is one of my favorite things to do. I actually have a huge story for an OC named Seiko Yamakawa who's a my hero OC. I referenced his story in the roleplay sample I posted XD I wrote him with one of my friends and we're designing a whole class for our OCS. Their story is set a good few years after the events of MHA and I'm hoping one day I feel the urge to write it and post it online so other people can see our hard work. I have a lot of OCS I want to post on here but I'm a slow artist and would have to make a bunch of refs for them because I like for their information to be complete. I have an OC that I'm considering making a roleplay blog for. He's the first MHA OC That I remember making after quarantine (All the ones I made back them are not to be spoken of..
