This is my final project for my 3D Animation class. I am really happy with the way my idea came to life. It looks like a simple concept, but it was quite hard to create. I had to relearn how a person can do a simple turn! That was probably the hardest challenge.

In the Beginning...
Hi! My name is Topanga! I’m a bit new to Tumblr so please bear with me if I make any mistakes. I am currently starting my Master's degree in Game Design at Full Sail University. I had previously attended Full Sail for a bachelor in Computer Animation and felt that to better find the career path for me, I should continue my education. I am interested in becoming a producer so I am hoping research on my own as well as learn about the different types of producer tracks through the course of my program. I would like to learn about the different types of fields and different sections of a pipeline that aren't widely discussed or mentioned. I am a very indecisive person and that is going to prove to be quite difficult since I am learning to be a master in my field. Which usually means that you shud be aspiring to master in one field. I realize that my future can’t be decided for me so I hope to find out what classes resonate with me the most. I am very excited to learn a new set of skills that will not only benefit my resume but also provide me with a wide variety of knowledge that I can enable to find a career in the entertainment industry. While I may not have a specific dream career or one set place that I want to work at, I would find it the greatest honor if I could just be apart f the production of a game or a film or something of the sort that brings at least one person happy. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read my post! I hope you all have a fantastic day, bye-bye!

Final Project: Business Plan, Mastery Journal Entry
My Mastery PDL timeline goal for this course was as follows
‘For me this is not so much a final, and more of a beginning. This is where I take all the time invested in this master’s program and move forward into implementing my plan to have a successful Media Production company.’
One of the most valuable concepts my time at Full Sail University has taught me is that the steps between the beginning and end are the most valuable part of any journey. Throughout my time in the Entertainment Business program, I have learned many things that could have been overlooked had I focused purely on finishing my degree, and not on the outcome of what I could achieve during my time here. In doing so, I was able to achieve a much more preferable outcome.
The information and experience I have gained by spending extra time focusing on the details, is much more valuable than the materials I have assembled for my business plan. This is because now I can complete the process as many times as it takes until the business plan succeeds.
Had I focused merely on putting together a business plan in the most time-efficient way possible, I would have limited my ability to repeat the process due to having rushed some steps. The extra time spent focusing on the details has made it possible for me to pursue a more diverse group of options for a career path. For instance, I feel confident enough in my knowledge of branding, that I am able to apply for certain marketing positions.  The experience I gained during the project and artist management course allows me to navigate the ins and outs of my managerial career path. These are all options that would not have been available to me had I not spent extra time studying the information provided in class along with my own research.  I think that the culmination of subjects covered throughout this program has created a roadmap to convert an idea to a reality. Many of the major roadblocks that have previously caused me hesitation, such as securing funding, have been un-shrouded and now the entire process seems much less daunting.

New Media and Communications: November 2017
Going into this class I was a bit intimated by the amount of information that I would be learning in just four weeks. I was also afraid that my creative writing background would clash with what some people thought a journalist should be. For a long time, journalists were portrayed as these “fact pushers” who had no time for storytelling. What kept that fear from distracting me was my need to learn and tell the truths of the world. ““I became a journalist because I did not want to rely on newspapers for information (Hitches, 2005).”  I was excited to jump into the world of journalism and learn the tools to create a great post that would help me reach my target audience.
Over the course of four weeks, I have learned so much! I learned the elements of a good story, how to develop a good story, and how and where to post the content. I have been able to narrow down my audience in order to be able to present current and relevant information that will benefit them. I also have narrowed down the social media platforms that I will be using to create an online presence and brand. I have been able to set up one active social media account thus far, Twitter, dedicated to my journalistic efforts and twitter handles that will help me on my journey.
I am leaving this course feeling confident and prepared to write my first article in my next course. I feel that this course gave me all of the tools and resources to present quality work to my professor as well as my audience.  I have learned that my background has a creative writer can benefit me in the new realm of journalism. I also feel that I could begin writing content outside of my school assignments. I want to dive into this new exciting sea of information and share my experiences as I learn.

Week 3 Project: Mastery Logo created using canva.com Notes: * I have summed up all of my prior degrees (and current focus) for the "tagline". I really like this idea as it "zooms in" on the areas of what I have studied. * There is another Heather Blazek, whom I am not related to, but has attended a fashion university. Although I dislike using my middle name, I have for years in an effort to seperate us online. This makes for difficult logo choices as I feel that my whole name in itself becomes a mile long, hence the use of initials in this design.

Marketing Mastery
As a music producer, I have always had trouble getting viewers to like comment or share my content. This has been a problem with using social media sites such like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Recently I figured out a way to receive at least 40 likes on my Instagram account for every post. So, I chose to take a course called Instagram for business on Lynda.

I was excited to take on this course and have learned a lot from the tutorials. My first takeaway is to organize and schedule my post. Posting every day, and staying consistent has always been hard for me due to my busy schedule. But, I can use an application called Schedule Gram to setup my post schedule ahead for a month. This way I can focus on interacting with those who have commented on my post.
My second take way is to see what the competition doing. I can learn a lot from pages that share the same interest. Understanding what makes their post a success, utilizing their tags, and content to see if I can have received the same results or better. I have tried this before and that is why I was able to start developing more followers who like and comment faithfully every time I post new content.
My third take away that I found very important was using filters and hashtags. Rather if I am posting a photo or video, I should be careful of what type of filters I use. I must make sure that the content loaded is appropriate and for the viewers. Also, using the appropriate hashtags plays a huge role in Instagram success. uploading a picture to Instagram without a filter or hashtag may not get any attention. If it has no filter, then you can use a hashtag (#nofilter). Hashtags are links that brings up a list of results related everyone who have used them. This meaning that you have a better chance of getting likes, followers, and comments.
I will be utilizing everything that I learned through this course tutorial. It was very informative, and helped me understand how I can use this in my professional and personal life. I have already started using some of these techniques, and have noticed an increase in followers. I even notice that one of my followers had recommended me to use a mobile application that adds more creativity to my post. I have used the application and now they get free promotion every time I use their product to post on social media.

Success Is On The Rise
It’s near the end of my journey as a @fullsailstudent and I could not be more excited! As my studies in public relations is coming to an end, the assignments are as well. In the course Online Media Room, I was expecting to learn how to integrate my projects and articles I’ve accumulated for capstone client Keys To Healthy Hair. This course has taught me how to create a media room with essential documents, images, videos, and presentations for my client. What I enjoyed most about this course was the freedom to follow guided instructions while adding my own creative touches to best represent my professional abilities and services.
I am very thankful to have experienced the opportunity to pursue my passion at an accelerated pace that will help level my professional credibility. The professors are knowledgeable and available daily. This is an educational experience that I’ve invested in for myself and thankful to overcome any obstacles and distractions that may have come my way. The only way from here is UP.

Month Seven
For this month I got to learn so much, and not just about making games and assets. I learned that I was able to push myself to make great content. Now while we aren’t making a AAA game just yet and are all still learning, I am happy with what we were able to do. This month I was fortunate enough to make my own game with a group of friends. For a while my friends in my class were limited to only having me as an artist, but this month has changed that. Not only did I gain another artist, but we even gained a generalist between art and dev. And they have made some many things great for us in our little game company. While we are all still learning, and learning together at that, we did good this month and made a decently working game. Now we just have to keep moving forward with it! I look forward to all that is to come.

DIGITAL ANALYTICS AND OPTIMIZATION
The second time around has to be better; this time I have to get it right. As the saying goes, “time waits for no man.” Where has the time gone? I have no clue; I am at a lost of words. This month went by so fast as apposed to the first time I took the course and wanted to get to the end. This time around I would have liked another 30 – 45 days to grasp everything. This is one of the few courses at Full Sail that should have a part 1, part 2 and a part 3 course; to better prepare me for the Google Analytics Test, because I still do not feel that I am prepared. Actually I wish there were a few other courses in this program that had additional parts.
This course is perfect, because it provides the needed resources to prepare for the Google Analytics Certification (GAC). This course has been very interesting filled with massive information and assignments; there was so much to learn but so little time. The good part is preparing for the GAC test would be great asset to place on my resume and on my business proposals.
As always I must say that I love Full Sail. I wish that they had a Ph.D. program for me to further my education, but just as time waits for no one, I must move on to the next chapter in life. I just pray that it includes a successful business as an entrepreneur.
Thank you Full Sail for the opportunity.

Entertainment Media Publishing and Distribution.
Today I am going to be talking about my class, Entertainment Media Publishing and Distribution. My main goal for this month was to give it my all and take in as much as possible. I am nearly done with my Masters Degree and I want to take in each class and everything that comes along with it. This class has definitely met my expectations. My professor is particularly one of my favorites. She explains everything thoroughly and I love how she sections every chapter into PowerPoint presentations. It makes it easier for me to take notes. I have learned how to create a film treatment and how to make a tiny idea in my head a possibility. I took one of my short stories and decided to use it for class. I also reviewed PROs, and licenses. I want to work at a recording studio and licenses and PROs will probably be something I will hear while working in that surroundings. I also take a lot of what I learned personally. I believe with the right tools and the right mindset, you can achieve anything. I love writing and some of my stories I feel like I should self-publish or talk to an agent and get it published. I have an imagination that doesn’t stop, and I enjoy it. This class let me live on through my imagination and showcase it to the professor and maybe someone else one day. I am very proud of how I am doing in the class and how my expectations of what I can do, went over and beyond. Although I had a slight detour when it came to my health, I still was able to get my homework in and not miss deadlines. I want to thank Professor Craft for being understand and working with me this month. I also want to thank her for teaching me such amazing information and making sure that I could comprehend it all.
