Hey about that SVTFOE Rewrite...

I know it's been a fairly long time since I finally threw in the towel on that old thing, but me and @full-moon-phoenix were discussing that whole thing where making Eclipsa and Toffee a thing would have solved a whole lot of problems with the story.

...and that actually gave us enough inspiration to start thinking about trying again with the rewrite.

It has everything.

A chance to give the two most lore important yet underwritten characters in the show an excuse to stay in the foreground that gives them both more to work with!

More opportunities for a stronger conflict that ties together the plot lines about Mewni, the monsters, the queens, and the magic!

Ship drama that actually matters to the narrative!

Full Moon at Sunset - October 2023 We stayed for a couple days at the Phoenix Metro RV Park while we waited to have some work done on the motorhome. One night I noticed that the full moon was coming up while the red glow of sunset was still in the sky. I wasn’t sure if I could capture it, but electrons are cheap so I tried. The second image with the campground visible isn’t as impressive, but the zooming in created a really mysterious-looking image. MWM

The place was cozy enough as it was, but it seemed almost DOUBLY so whenever the varying holidays rolled around. Trucy had been so eager to find her weekly hull of books, it was pretty comical to see her youthful features BRIGHTEN in sheer awe once they arrived to find the store in the process of being decorated for Halloween. The silent exchange between himself and Selena hadn't meant to prompt the girl for anything, but he was grateful all the same when he suddenly heard her ask if Trucy had wanted to help with the festive decor.

He had never heard a little girl shriek YES as quickly as he had for something so... trivial. Then again, Phoenix had never been one to care much for decorating for pretty much anything. It was going to go down soon after, right? Why spend all that time and energy?

The joy on Trucy's face as she was handed a cute little ghost hanging on a string told him the ANSWER to that, her little legs scampering off to hang it where she deemed appropriate causing a warmth to spread throughout his chest and a bit of dampness to collect in his EYES.

It had been a while since she had smiled so brightly.

"Hey..." He watched her go for a moment further, before finally he turned his gaze towards Selena who stood perched on a ladder with her array of decor. "Thanks for that. She... She really needed it. So... Thank you."

THEY had needed it.
