After 5675re I ran into him and caught him! I've been doing safari week since 2021 and just now did I get my first catch!

X BADGE QUEST SHINY #2

This one should not have taken this long.

Summer 2022: I decide I want to do another shiny BQ in generation 6. I get a lovely shiny Fennekin in July 2022.

And here we are 2 years later with target #2.

A total of 12 phases on the dreaded route 22 where I obtained, over the course of 2 years, while juggling school: 1 Psyduck, 2 Farfetch'd, 2 Azurill, 4 Bunnelby and 2 Riolu, the latter having a 5% encounter rate whereas my target, Litleo, was 20%. A farce from the universe, obviously.

I am so happy to say I finally found Litleo, and a male one on top of that! I do like male Pyroar better than female Pyroar. I initially just went into this hunt allowing fate to decide if I was going to get the rare male Litleo.... but after a few phases, the mystique of the Litleo hunt had washed away and I just wanted to do whatever I wanted. So to get a female Cute Charm lead I went!

He was going to be named after the leads in Lion King II regardless of gender: Kovu or Kiara, the icons, the legends.

Playing X and Y is always so fun for me, so I was thrilled I could finally press on with this quest and challenge myself by preparing for Grant with a Braixen and a Litleo. My next target shall be Honedge. With a Magnet Pull lead and a level 11 repel trick, I'm able to get a 63% encounter rate on route 6. Crossing my fingers this will be a phaseless hunt!

It happened!! I finally got shiny Tepig after 8532 SRs :D I've wanted this shiny for so many years because of Emboar's shiny, and I've done a few SRs in the past too before I started counting during this hunt.

Nature is Naive and he Likes to run, so a very fast piggy.

Edit: I just realized I started this hunt on September 29th, 2022. So it took almost exactly a year to get it, today is September 28th, 2023.

So I started Legends: Arceus back up again last night to try and finish collecting all the Old Verses, Unown forms, and wisps (I ended up finishing that tonight) and a little while ago I caught a shiny Bergmite on my way to one of the wisps!

It wasn't even a mass outbreak or anything, so full-odds, too! And I was lucky to find it because I pretty much completely forgot about the shiny Pokémon spawn sound and had my volume pretty low, so I'm surprised I could even hear it.

So I go back to Jubilife to check it out in the pasture and- APPARENTLY I CAUGHT A SEPARATE FULL-ODDS SHINY BERGMITE OVER A YEAR AGO?!

and one's male and the other female, soooo... I guess they were just meant to be together! I guess say hello to the new couple! I'll have to give them proper nicknames and evolve them.

Last shiny of this summer, a full-odds shiny Shinx after 3228 encounter. It's phase 1 for Bidoof, which is kinda funny, considering how common Bidoof is xd

what is my luck with this game?

last cookie clicker run I didn't get a shiny wrinlker; now on my 2nd ascention, just to keep the wrinkler number a nice and even number, i popped them

and guess what spawned?

I hunted for this intentionally last game but lost the save data before I actually found one~~

how long will it take me to completely surround the cookie with shiny wrinklers?

rip cause I wanted to ascend tonight~~~

see how long I can go before I get bored of trying to hunt and get an entire cookie ring of wrinklers?

when do I destroy it? hopefully I'll get more later~~~ hope I don't lose it when my game reloads or something stupid happens~~~

cause can't you lose your shiny wrinklers in an older cookie clicker version? that scares me, lol...
