#when y/n found the dca in the Pizzaplex they ran a full diagnosis of what needed to be changed or fixed on the attendant's body #the battery was one of them since it had some fire & water damage #so y/n found a new one that was compatible; problem is that the new battery is not as potent as the OG one #so now the DCA has to charge/go rest mode way more frequently than they used to #and that annoys moon sooooo badly he hates that he has to do it so frequently #<- and also he gets sad that he has to spend time sitting in the couch charging instead of spending time with y/n #as for y/n there aint much of a reason; they are just overworked lol #dca #dca moon #moon #finders Keepers au #dca au #dca fandom

made a facial ref sheet for shri’iia, and also took this chance to refine her design a little bit. I made her face look a bit more closer to her face claim/face ref (90s shalom harlow esp her eye shape) but still kept it close to the in game face I use for her. the little notes are mostly for me hence why they’re small and not sure if it’s legible, and I’ll def add more to the notes after my pen charges lol

#im still debating on this facial shape for her I might make her chin a bit more pointy #bc I kinda like her with rounded then pointy features like a cone lol #but now hopefully she looks consistent in my art #which is annoying me bc I already made art of her prior SIGH #esp her eyes I made them smaller and farther apart… prev art her eyes were like massive #since that was the focal point of her face #but I think with massive eyes then her already over the top makeup it just shrinks her face #and makes it look disproportionate so the smaller eyes balances it out I fear #anyway she’s still v much in development. even now I want to adjust some things lol #but I like doing these character sheets a lot hehehe character art sm fun I want to update her full body sheet next #I wanna make a sheet for her face angles too n esp expressions!!!! Actually I can't stop thinking about Tim gaining a bit of weight during her time as Persephone and it's killing me now

#she's been an immortal for so long she has no idea how she looked before the lunar war #she was 3-4 years younger and matured during that time despite the starvation #and she probably got a buzzcut when she was drafted but nobody kept up with hair regulations bc they couldn't see each other enough #for them to be enforced #After she first got mechanized the eyes were just one of the many parts of ger body she didn't recognize #and it competed in importance with the weight loss and aging and new scars and more #But when she sees herself at a healthy weight as Persephone bc she hasn't had a complete death in so long that she's managed to hold weight #she just cries because she thinks this is how she must have once looked #though her memory fails to give her any confirmation. she can only guess #she sees in the mirror a person who didn't feast on the corpses she could find #and she can pretend she actually Is Persephone- not Tim #that she's lived a happy olympian life and has never died and that she doesn't occasionally unwillingly salivate over brains in the acheron #and the worst part is she Knows this is temporary #her fantasy and joy is limited #limited until the day she doesn't throw a grenade far enough again or the day she annoys Ashes enough to set her on fire #she can't stay this way for the eternity she is so damned to #and once she does experience a full body reset it's an uphill climb to regain that weight again- if she manages to not die in that time #it's the inevitability of it all that really gets me #and also Ashes obviously thinks Tim looking healthier- well taken care of- is hot as fuck. tho they think Tim always looks hot as fuck #but they don't understand why she freezes when they run a hand along her chest now- unable to even feel her ribs unless they press down #or why she starts making flimsy excuses to leave whenever they offer to take her out on their arson runs

Does anyone have any tips for making learning art fun because I constantly want to improve but I keep bluescreening from absolute boredom the second I try to do studies and pose reference drawings and that sort of thing.

I just want to understand how to draw bodies without feeling like I'm crawling through glass to get there

#this is maybe mostly a brain focus problem but I do not currently have access to health insurance so we're going to suffer reality as it is #so deeply annoying to me that I've been drawing since I was 10 or so and have yet to gain any understanding of full bodies #and human anatomy #I know the only way to learn is to do but god is there any way to make doing fun and engaging #I tried those 30/60 second pose websites but I lose interest too quickly to make any noticeable improvement

Woke up from my little power outage nap and couldn’t even manage to eat a full box of macked cheese, grad school will fuck you up for life kids, do it at your own risk.

#my stuff #i don’t like to admit it but i’ve developed a complicated relationship with food #i’m a rational person i know food is important and i feel hunger and when i do i want to eat #but due to the hassle of meal prep and my tight finances i basically only eat one meal a day at the end and use coffee to power through #often until like 6pm #which i know is not good in a general or transition sense #and when i was first starting to fall into this pattern i would eat A TON at night to make up for it #but sometime during my grief in march n april i developed #a psychological difficulty with finishing food. like executive dysfunction and insecurity hoarding combined #and also i sometimes get nauseous midway through eating #or rapidly feel full after being doubled over from hunger cramps and then hungry again an hour later #and above all else it’s annoying bc its subconscious or physiological and it makes it hard to overcome #and even if i was provided 3 meals a day i’d probably struggle to stomach eating that freq in any significant amount #i feel like when my stomach is empty it tries to quasi hibernate until last minute and then goes ravenous #much like me emotionally but that’s a different tag rant #anyways another complication is ‘sleep for dinner’ right when i get home which fucks up my eating AND sleep schedule #all this bullshit when i’m a scientist who has taken metabolism classes and knows my body is getting wrecked from this #so i’m guilty as fuck abt it🙂‍↕️
