Diplomats will have the chance to witness the remarkable progress made since the devastating earthquake and nuclear incident.   Unveiling Fukushima's Hidden Gems Beyond the exploration of reconstruction efforts, diplomats will also get a glimpse of Fukushima's unique attractions, industries, and local delicacies. The tour is meticulously designed to expand knowledge about Fukushima's diverse range of offerings, including tourism hotspots, industries, and culinary delights.   Strengthening Ties between Fukushima and Participating Countries The study tour is expected to foster stronger connections between Fukushima Prefecture and the countries represented by the diplomatic corps. Ever since I was a child, I've been fascinated by #samurai. I thought everything about them was cool, from their #daisho - the long #katana #samuraisword paired with the shorter wakizashi sword; to the legendary stories of samurai honor, fighting skill, and bravery in battle. What's crazy is I just found out that #FukushimaPrefecture, the place I've been visiting for several years because of #EbisuCircuit and drifting, was the actual location of the REAL #LastSamurai stronghold of feudal Japan!!! 😱🏯 #Fukushima is the place that the last big samurai battle in Japanese history took place before the Japanese modernization movement called the #MeijiRestoration. Worried about @codytownsend getting lonely here in #fukushimaprefecture #japan . • • • Despite seemingly all pro skiers, snowboarders and their production crews being in Japan, we mostly find ourselves alone. It's cold, we haven't seen much sun, the visibility is mostly poor, it won't stop snowing, and our faces our burned from so much cold snow hitting them.
