i would have put more emphasis on lakes sexuality in her original season. We only know she’s a lesbian because of a pride post. It would have been cool to see her talking about it with Rosa maria or maggy. About how she doesn’t want to get married to this guy because she isn’t attracted to men, but doesn’t have the words to describe it. So I was reading articles about John Hurt (as I do when I procrastinate on life in general lol) and I saw a still shot of a movie I’ve never seen still shots of before; so I looked it up. It’s a play. I was worried I wouldn’t find it in full online; but I did, so here it is in all its glory:

He’s just… ugh I want to gently hold his face in my hands he’s just so sad and lonely with his weepy voice and eye bags. I couldn’t process half of what he said but I think this is a warning about always speed-running through life to get to the next good thing. We should appreciate the moment; because in the end, we’ll have nothing at all but our memories. I recommend anyone who might be following What’s The Dirt on youtube watch this video containing the audio of what Dirt said to The Company Man. Dirt’s response to perfectly respectful criticism was so repulsive and racist to me that I immediately unsubscribed. Calling a respected black commentator stupid in increasingly condescending tones over and over for criticizing him, accusing him of clout chasing, and questioning his blackness.
