In my personal opinion, this is the moment Phukan couldn't handle the situation anymore. He's been struggling with falling in love with Cirrus for a while, not allowing himself to do so, while also praying for 'just a little longer' with Cir, but when Cir says this... It's too much.

I think right here is where Phu realizes that this isn't right. It's like I suddenly have Jin's powers, because I can practically hear Phu thinking 'P'Cir is thinking of the other Phu'. And if Cir's thinking of the other Phu, it isn't real. They aren't real. Cir doesn't love him, he loves the other Phu.

Right here is where Phu realizes it's been long enough and he can't be selfish any longer. Cir has to go back, no matter how much it'll hurt to lose him.

Me watching mouthwashing: Geez, one girl trapped alone during a life-threatening situation with four men in an isolated place where there are no locks for the sleeping areas and they are planning to get hammered? That scene. That scene right there is soo telling. We've known since the beginning that Blitz has commitment issues, but we're only now starting to see just how deep they ran and just how much they affect his relationships.

I feel like these words, "I love you," trigger blaring alarms in his head, a panic reaction. Remember what happened the first time he dared to love someone? The first time he tried to confess his love?

Oh, nothing big.

He just permanently disfigured his crush, killed his mother and ruined his sister's life*.

This accident, this event lies in the core of 90% of his issues and problems.

This is why he runs the second things get serious. This is why he dumps Verosica the second she says she loves him.

In Blitz's eyes, his love is destructive. His love only ruins. So if he cuts ties before things get too complicated, maybe the other person won't get even more hurt, even more damaged. It's a twisted and fucked up desire to protect not only himself and his heart but also his loved ones**. It has turned into a self-fulfilling prophecy and a never-ending cycle: the more he pushes and pushes and pushes, the more people push back. Because no one likes getting hurt. No one likes having their heart broken. And when these people finally snap, when they've had enough of Blitz's bullshit? He can point and say, see? I told you so! They are better off without me!

Blitz's cruelty doesn't stem from outright malice. It stems from Blitz being deeply broken and damaged.

Before he can start a stable romantic relationship of any kind, he needs to forgive himself for that accident. Otherwise, that deeply rooted self-loathing will continue to get in the way and cause him to repeatedly self-sabotage. And he has to do it himself, Verosika can't do it for him, M&M can't do it for him, Stolas can't do it for him.

The good news is that he is already taking the necessary steps. Making up with Fizz: a step in the right direction. Genuinely apologizing to Stolas and Verosika: a step in the right direction. Letting go of Stolas, realizing that his actions have serious consequences on his loved ones, owning up to his mistakes: all steps in the right direction. I don't know about ya'll but I'm eager to see where this is going and what happens next.

*it was an accident. Wrong place, wrong time, but Blitz sure as hell doesn't believe that.

**I belive this last bit is fully subconscious and Blitz isn't much aware of it. He says it himself: he buries all of it deep in his mind, avoids thinking about it at all costs

Political theatre has always been a thing.

Spinning a story so that your decisions and actions are told in the best light possible. Withholding or otherwise downplaying key information in order guide public opinion in one direction or another. Making a show of support for or disagreement with a particular policy an administration puts forth.

This tiktok thing, though. It's a whole other level.

Trump suggested a ban when he was president the first time. His administration looked into it, Biden's administration came to the same national security conclusions. The actual plan? They wanted Tiktok to have to do the same thing that Grindr had to do.

Yeah, this same thing happened to Grindr. In 2020, it was identified as a national security risk and Trump's administration forced the Chinese owners to sell to Americans or else be banned. Grindr sold. No one noticed anything happening.

But this time around, Tiktok didn't want to sell to Americans. So they got their user base riled up about the ban without saying that tiktok could keep going, uninterrupted, if they changed ownership. They blamed the Biden administration instead of the Trump administration because they can see what every other tech CEO can see: Democrats will regulate tech and Republicans won't.

The case went all the way to the Supreme Court and the Supremes decided to uphold the ban that Biden did in fact sign - the one that said tiktok either had to sell to American interests or shut down.

But that decision came down days before Biden was leaving office, and so Biden's administration said, "We won't enforce the ban. That's now the decision of the Trump administration."

Except no one heard that part because Tiktok took itself offline. It was a stunt. It was the company's own decision, using the opportunity to praise Trump and swing public opinion (of the 170 million US tiktok users) towards him.

The CEO of tiktok was at Trump's inauguration. He sat next to the nominee for National Security Advisor.

Political theatre has hit an entirely new level now.

Being someone who's black jamican and Indian is so strange right now.

Ive not seen this level of racial confusion since I was a child. Literally it's really not that strange someone be of multiple hereitages but for some reason if someone is mixed between two non white ethnicities people lose their goddamn minds.

Yes, Jamaicans and Indian people can meet. Some meet on a night out in a club, like my parents did. Then they can have kids and those kids are both black and Indian. It's like we haven't moved past racial segregation. I know conservatives are doing this on purpose but god is this annoying.
