LOCATION: Alex’s apartment.
TIMEFRAME: 3/02, late evening.
OPEN TO: @alexsmu ( Alexander Montgomery )
It was easy enough for Autumn and Riley to step out of the way so Alexander could be a good friend. While he was talking to Regan, they cuddled up on the couch with a few of their favorite snacks and watched re-runs of Paw Patrol. Of course, Autumn wasn’t paying attention to the show, and ended up grabbing Alexander’s laptop to go job hunting. She knew exactly what she was passionate about, but without a college degree, Autumn knew that the best she would be able to get was some kind of retail job. She ended up applying to far too many jobs, and by the time she was finished Riley had fallen asleep on the couch. After tucking her into the guest room’s bed, Autumn made her way back out to the kitchen and decided that it would be best for her to have a glass of wine. Even though she and Alexander were doing amazingly, she couldn’t help but always have a lump at the back of her throat, worried that Xavier could show up and ruin everything before she got her life back together. She was just picking up the pieces, and she couldn’t shake the anxiety of losing it all once more. As she started to pour herself a glass of wine, she noticed Alex make his way back upstairs, and assumed that Regan was no longer around. “I hope everything’s alright,” Autumn said quietly, pouring another glass so that he would have some too. “Riley just went to bed. Too many Paw Patrol episodes made her exhausted.”

Some happy 2020 things:
En del av mitt hjärta
Tomas Ledin in general
Seeing Så som i himmelen x 2 back in February (I can’t believe that happened this year, feels like it was a decade ago)
That musical concert the night before the pandemic restrictions kicked in (ft. Maria Ylipää & Alexander Lycke)
Sticking to my daily walking schedule from late April onwards (today was my 252th daily walk!)
Drawing a lot (I haven’t counted, but I’ve probably drawn more this year than the last three years combined... and I’m so, so happy about that)
The new Finnish production of Evita (one of those shows where you’re all nervous before the curtain goes up because you want to love it so badly... and I certainly did, it’s so good)
That silly Jekyll & Hyde ballet
The fact that for a couple of months this autumn, the pandemic situation calmed down enough that Finnish theatres could reopen (even if they’re closed again now)
That whole Destiel goes canon three times ft. Putin incident (and yes, I am putting this on my highlights list without a hint of irony; nothing except for En del av mitt hjärta has brought me so much genuine joy during this nonsense year)
So it certainly hasn’t been all bad... but onwards to a happier new year, I hope.

Words- 4,348
The first time you saw him was...well, not ideal. You were walking from your house to the store, just to pick up some milk, nothing big or serious, and he’d walked into the store like a puffed out peacock. He was a total celebrity, people instantly started talking to him. You has no interest, and you thought that was why he noticed you. Your drool stayed firmly in your mouth and your knees were nowhere near weak. Well, until he approached you.
“Do you need any help with that?” He’d asked. You sighed and gave the usual response that you were fine. It was a two-pound bag of flour and some bottles of milk, less than the weight of a baby, and since that was all men like him tended to think women were good for, you figured he would take the hint. But of course, he didn’t.
“I’m Thomas Jefferson.”
“I’m Y/N Y/L/N. Nice to meet you.” You shifted the weight of the flour and stuck your hand out for him to shake. You hadn’t had many interactions with men of high standing and didn’t really know how to act. But to your surprise, Thomas leaned down and brought your hand lightly to his lips. Your skin tingled long after he pulled away. You nodded awkwardly and started towards the squat woman at the counter, setting your items down. She smiled knowingly and you glanced behind you to see that Thomas followed.
“Here let me.” He placed several notes on the counter.
“No no no.” You shoved them back. “I can take care of myself.”
“Please.” he scoffed. “I’m rich.” He pushed the paper back and the woman took them before you could object, making a note in her book. “Besides,” Thomas picked up the flour and milk bottles, “if I didn’t pay for these I wouldn’t have an excuse to walk you home.”
You were so shocked at his boldness that your brain couldn’t find the words to protest before you were out of the store and walking back towards your house. “You really don’t want to meet my family.” you said when you gained composure. “They are a lot of them and they’re...well...eccentric, Mr. Jefferson.”
“Please, call me Thomas.”
You looked up at him. “Then you must call me Y/N.”
“I was hoping I could, Y/N.” He winked at you and continued to walk forward. You blushed and kept your head down. It was early in autumn and the leaves were just starting to change, casting an orange tint on the roadways you’d known your entire life.
“I come from a big family too.” Thomas commented, interrupting your thoughts.
“Really?” you asked. He didn’t seem the type.
“Thousands of siblings, it seems.” He laughed lightly. “You actually had to fight for attention. It was ridiculous.”
You nodded. That explained the demeanor he had...and the suit. “This is my house.” You said awkwardly. You were slightly embarrassed by the state it was in. It was a large house with a sizable yard, but it had seen better days.
“Wonderful.” Thomas gave you a grandiose smile and walked right up to your front door, stepping in without so much as an invitation. You quickly hurried after him so that your family wouldn’t be shocked and start to push him out upon sight.
You rushed in just as your mother came around to see Thomas.
“Oh, Y/N! Who’s your friend?” she asked cheerily. Leave it to your mother to get excited any time your and another man stood near each other.
“This is Mist- Thomas.” He flashed an award-winning smile at your use of his first name. “Thomas Jefferson. He came to help me with the groceries.”
“It’s nice to meet you.” he said cordially.
“What do you do, Mister Jefferson?”
“Many things. I’m currently staying in a town nearby working on a very important document. I was taking a walk to clear my head when I met your lovely daughter. Your face heated ever so slightly. He was such a proper man. He was someone you could really see yourself with.
But a lot had changed since that day.
Letters. Letters and letters and letters. Never anything more. Paper was all you ever saw of him. When he was done writing and he left you behind in Philadelphia to move back to his home in Virginia. Years apart. Years. And he was doing this to you again as he stayed in Paris.
“It’s just a short trip.” he’d said to you. “I’m going there to meet with Benjamin Franklin, and when I’m back we’ll be married.”
“Do you promise?”
“The moment I’m off the boat.”
But it was Thomas, of course. So when you heard the Mister Franklin had offered up his position as Minister to France to your love, you knew there was no way he’d turn it down. And so, letters. Lots of letters.
It was good, you supposed. Your mother needed the extra help since your father passed away about a month after you and Thomas had officially starting courting. That had been an amazing day. For eight years, Thomas had kept your hope of a life with him alive. Through the letters and occasional meetings and stolen kissed in the moonlight, and yes, letters. You weren’t stupid. You were never under the impression that he was faithful only to you during these eight years. He was a man of power after all. That’s why you had been so excited when he all but got down on one knee before he left.
Well, that short vacation stretched on for months. It turned to a job, that lasted for years. His letters had slowed in their frequency after about two years, and you hadn’t received a new one in six months.
Three years. Three years in addition to the other eight, and you decided that you’d had enough. You moved to a new city. You started a new life. You were going to live without him. You were going to stop waiting for Thomas Jefferson.
The last letter he’d sent was a consolation for your mother passing away. Consolation in the form of money. Money that you’d never asked for, but you certainly weren’t going to let waste. All your sibling were well off with jobs or spouses, and you couldn’t bear staying in that big, empty, rotting house on your own. So you took the money he’d sent you and you moved to New York. You got a job as a tailoress. It was barely enough to keep you afloat and you slept in the shop because you didn’t have enough to keep your own home.  All sorts of people came through here.
You learned how to mend socks, uniforms, even hats. Your favorite was the soldiers, though. They were never shy about sharing their war stories. You were always more fascinated than the other girls, but you couldn’t help it. They spun tales of brawls and spies and freedom. It was easy to get caught up in what they said.
One day you were helping your overseer Richard take the measurements of a man you appeared to be in need of a very official looking uniform, one you’d never seen before. You were instantly drawn in.
Richard did not always approve of you talking to the clients, so you waited until he left the room to approach this man. He staring at the wall blankly. You found yourself wondering what was on his mind.
“Excuse me?” you asked quietly so as not to scare him.
His head darted toward you. He smiled, but it didn’t feel genuine. “Yes?”
“I hope you don’t mind my asking, but what is this coat for.”
His mouth hung open slightly. “The war.”
“It’s rather different than the war uniforms I’ve seen here before.” You bit your tongue so as to not talk too quickly.
“My job is...different.” he looked down.
“You seem dejected by that.” You pretended to busy yourself by sitting at a table and folding fabrics that had already been folded. “Do you not favor the war?”
“No! No, I’m in full support of it.” He looked away from you. “Just wish I was more than a secretary.” he mumbled so you almost couldn’t hear him. Several moments of silence passed, but you did not leave the room. “What about you?” he asked suddenly. “Why do you tailor?”
“It’s not terrible work.” You shrugged.
He chuckled. “Yes, I know. I lived with one while I attended King’s College. What I mean is, why work at all? Why not stay home?”
You looked up and saw that he was much closer than he had been before. “I...I have nowhere else to go.”
“Really? No husband or parents or children?”
You nearly winced at the word husband. “Nobody.” you hesitated to say.
He nodded thoughtfully. “Me either.”
Richard came through the door then, and you quickly looked away from the man.
“Well, Alexander. What about this?” You dared a glance upward. Richard was holding a swatch of fabric out to him. The man looked from you to the fabric, like he was just remembering why he had come here.
“Uh, yes, That should be fine. Thank you.”
“Perfect! It’ll be ready in a week’s time.”
He nodded and turned from Richard quickly back to you, leaning over the table so your face was near his.
“Tell me. What’s your name?”
“Y/N.” you said quietly. The warning look Richard was giving you made your voice go quiet. “Y/N Y/L/N.”
He smiled. A real smile this time. And it was different than anyone you were accustomed to seeing from any men before. “I’m Alexander Hamilton.” His eyes met yours and smile cautiously spread across your lips.
“Okay...” you whispered. His dark eyes moved back and forth across your face.
“Okay.” He pressed his hands against the table lightly. “I’ll let you get back to working, Y/N.” He stood and turned from you.
You called out to him just before he reached the front door. “Alexander!” He turned around with eyebrows raised. “You should smile more. It suits you.”
His eyes glistened. “I’ll try to remember that.” He inclined his head towards Richard. “Thank you. I’ll be back in a week.”
You couldn’t help but smile as you watched him leave. Richard gave you a disappointed look. “There’s no need to be such a whore.” he commented.
Alexander didn’t come back a week later. He came in the very next day.
“Mister Hamilton! Unfortunately, I don’t have anything prepared yet.”
“Oh, that’s fine!” Alexander said breathlessly, barely even acknowledging Richard. He was looming straight at you. “I’m actually here to see Y/N.”
Your eyes widened. You were working at the same spot you had been yesterday, but this time several other working girls were there with you. They started to giggle and smile and point before all clearing away from you as soon as Alex came over. You stood and met him half way.
“Me?”
“Yes. I...I wanted to ask you if you’d come with me to a ball tonight. It’s one of several parties that will be thrown before many of us leave for the war.” His eyes were wide and earnest, but they seemed to always hold a certain type of exhaustion behind them.
“I...You....You wanted to take me with you?”
Alexander nodded. “If you would like.”
You searched desperately for words to say knowing that everyone in the room, especially Alexander, were watching you very closely. “Forgive me for asking but, why?”
“Why what?”
“Why me? We’ve only just met.”
“And? I find you fascinating, and I want to know you more. We seem so similar.” You couldn’t argue with that. “So? Will you?” he persisted.
A million thoughts rushed through your head. What was he implying? You didn’t want to get involved with anyone else. You liked your life the way it was, and you didn’t want to waste another eleven years pining after someone. But then you looked at Alexander’s nervous face, and you just couldn’t bear to crush his spirits. It was one ball, and you had, quite literally, nothing to lose.
“I...I suppose it wouldn’t hurt.”
“Wouldn’t hurt?” One of the workers, Katarina, chimed in quickly. “She’d love to.” Katarina gave Alexander a cordial smile. He glanced at you, and you nodded, signaling that you agreed with her. A huge grin spread across his face.
“Great! I’ll come by here again later tonight.” He took your hand and kissed it gently. Your mind flashed to your first interactions with Thomas. His smooth skin and strong arms. His charming words and his dark brown eyes, not dissimilar to Alexander’s.
You smiled at him as he rose again. “Tonight.” you confirmed. He gave you one last smirk before he turned and left.
The moment the door closed. You were covered in a wash of skirts and perfume and excited voices.
“You didn’t tell us you were being courted!”
“What’s his name?”
“Where’s he from?”
“He’s so wonderful!”
Despite Richard’s best efforts, not much work got done that afternoon. Questions were thrown this way and that. You tried to answer them, but truthfully, all you knew was his name and that he didn’t like his job much, whatever it was.
The girls insisted that you prepared yourself as much as you could. They spent most of the day taking pieces of older dresses laying around the shop and mixing them into a gown that fit your approval. Abigail took you to the back where everyone slept. She sat you down on a stool and started doing your hair up.
“Are you nervous?”
You fiddled with your hands. “Do I seem nervous?”
“Very.”
You sighed. “I just...I don’t know if I want to be with anyone right now.”
Her hands paused on your head for a moment. “Why? Not to be rude, but you’re definitely of age.”
You chuckled. “I’m well aware of that.”
“Then why?”
You looked at the bed. If you let your mind wander enough, you could almost see him there, calling you darling and making empty promises.
“I’ve had some in issues in the past, you could say.”
“He seems like a nice man.” Abigail started to stick pins in your hair. You shrugged. You couldn’t really say whether he was nice or not. Everything was all so fast and new. “Y/N.” Abigail was in front of you now, looking you in the eye. “Never be afraid to love someone.”
“Y/N! The gown is ready! Put it on quickly! Before Alexander gets here!” Margaret called from the front room.
He arrived in a charming military suit. He took your hand and lead you out to the small carriage he’d brought. “I’m sorry it’s not a lot, but...wow. You look amazing.”
You smiled at Alex while he helped you into the front quarter. Once you were both settled and the carriage took off, you found yourself silently staring out the window. Your mind kept wandering back to Thomas. What was he doing right now? Who was he with? Did he ever think of you anymore?
“You seem worried. Did I do something wrong?” Alex asked cautiously, though the nervousness in his tone could still be heard.
“No, I’ve-It’s been awhile since I’ve been to such an event...with such a man.” you admitted.
“You seem pretty dejected.”
You internally cursed yourself. Romanticizing your past relationships was definitely not the way to start a new one. “I’m sorry. I don’t mean to be such a pain.”
Alex quickly held his hands up and shook his head. “No! It’s not like that at all! You just seem really upset, and I only wonder why, if I’m not overstepping. You don’t have to come with me if you don’t want to.” He tried to hide it, but his face fell slightly.
“I do want to come with you, Alex.” You resisted putting your hands on him. It would be too improper.
Alex pursed his lips like he was analyzing you. After a moment of intensely awkward silence, he spoke.“Who did this to you?”
“Who- what? What do you mean?” There was no way he could know. How could he know?
“You’ve been in love, and it didn’t go well.” Your body tensed. “It’s really quite obvious - to me, at least. You’re an attractive woman, but you’ve never married. Your mind sometimes looks like it’s somewhere else. And you’re not very...well, comfortable in the presence of most men. So either you had a terrible father, or a terrible courter, or both. Who am I to say?” He looked up at you slowly at the end of his speech, and his eyes glinted with a certain confidence that you were accustomed to, but it was more playful somehow. He wore a smirk on his face like he’d won an award.
“That’s an excellent observation, sir.” You crossed your arms, feeling the need to guard yourself.
“You can trust me, Y/N. Like I said, I want to get to know you, even if you think it’s bad.” He paused stared at him. “Tell me about him.” Your jaw dropped slightly. “Really.”
You swallowed the lump forming in your throat. Alex’s eyes were kind and understanding. You felt safe rather than pressured. “He was charming. Proper in nearly every way. He always knew just what to say at the right time.” You felt yourself getting lost in the memory.  “He was perfect, or at least, it felt like he was. But he was never around. Moving here and there. Eleven years he had me convinced someday he’d just come and take me and make me his wife, and then one day all that just...stoppped. So I left the state.” You sighed and stared at the window. The carriage had stopped, and you could faintly hear music coming from the nearby building.“How long have we been here?” You swiveled your head to Alex.
“Awhile, but I didn’t want to stop you.” You flushed and avoided his eyes. “I’m sorry he treated you that way for so long. It sounds like your still hurting.”
“I’m not!” You were quick to defend. Alexander gave you a look “I don’t want to be.” Your fingers nervously intertwined in the lace of your gown. “I’m...I’m so sorry, but I think this was a mistake.”
Alex nodded and opened the carriage door. He started to get out. You hadn’t meant to upset him so much for him to abandon you there. You were about to speak up and apologize to him, but then he turned around and stuck his hand out for you to take.
“I’m not saying you have to come with me. You say the word and I’ll take you back, but you deserve a night of fun. Let me help you.”
You smiled and let your fingers touch his. “I’d love that.”
You started to see Alex regularly after that night. You learned about his family or lack thereof, his past, his reasons for coming to New York, you learned everything. You like the mess of him. The excitement he always had, how he wore his emotions on his sleeve, the way that he stuttered every once in awhile when his brain was moving faster than his mouth. He was real, and he was honest with you. He regularly visited you at the shop, and he took you every ball the army put on.
At one such occasion, about a month into your friendship with Alex, you were messing around, teasing and joking with him by hiding somewhere in the huge venue and running away the second he found you. You knew you were acting childish, but you didn’t care. You weren’t expected to be agreeable and proper anymore. You hadn’t had this much fun in eleven years.
Alex was encroaching on your current hiding spot. You shrunk back against the door, hoping the frame would hide you from him. It didn’t, of course, and he quickly found you. You laughed and tried to run away, but then he caught your arm and pulled you back.
His face was calm, but his eyebrows were raised in silent question. He grabbed both your forearms and started to gently push you backward, never once breaking eye contact. You back hit the wall. His tan fingers ran over your cheek, and his mouth parted slightly, as did yours. “I’m sorry, I just...” he whispered. His eyes traveled to your lips
You shook your head. “It’s okay.” You pushed yourself up and kissed him fiercely. An animalistic urge took you over. This kiss was raw and intense and real and anything but Jefferson.
Alex’s hand went through your hair and pulled your head back, breaking the contact with him. Your eyes lidded as you tried to catch your breath. “I’ve wanted to kiss you for so long.”
“Then don’t stop.” you breathed. Alex smirked and brought his lips back to yours. His hand rubbed along your side, up your chest, to your neck and then face. He pressed his body against yours.
He moved his mouth to your cheek, jaw, and neck, speaking between each kiss. “Please. Let. Me. Court. You.”
You bit your lip and let out a ‘yes’ that was more of a moan than anything else, but he seemed to get it because his hips thrust ever so lightly against yours. You let your head fall back against the wall, and your back arched forward.
Alex kneeled and for a moment you were confused, but then he started to lift up your skirt. “Alex!” You shouted. “There are people downstairs, someone could walk by at any time!”
“Well, I guess that’s their problem then, isn’t it?” He smirked before dipping his head underneath your skirt. You smiled and, covering your mouth with your hand, slumped against the wall, totally in his capable care.
When Alex brought you back to the shop later that night, you were practically floating through the air. You couldn’t sleep no matter how long you lay there. Your mind was swirling with images and plans with Alex, and yes, Thomas too, but for once you weren’t sad about him.
A knock sounded on the door. Only a few of the other girls woke up. One, Katarina, got up and lit a candle. Their faces were scared. Richard came through the door holding a candle of his own. “You’re all here? Are you alright?”
“Yes, we’re fine but who is that?” More girls were waking up now and asking the same questions.
“I’ll go see. Stay here,” Richard commanded. “Whoever it is may have bad intentions.”
“He may act rude sometimes, but at least he’s protective.” Katarina commented.
You all stayed quiet and listened very intently. It sounded like whoever was there was a man. Richard came through not long after with a look of annoyance.
“It’s for you, Miss Y/L/N,” he said with venom. Your brow furrowed. You asked Katarina to come with you, which of course so turned into most of the girls.
When you got out to the front of the shop, you were met with a tired looking young man you’d never seen before. He looked relieved to see you.
“Thank God! I traveled so far to find you. Y/N Y/L/N?”
You nodded slowly. “That’s me.”
“These are for you. They’ve been sitting around forever and they won’t stop coming in. I’m sure when I get back there will be at least a dozen more. You should tell your friends your address has changed.”
You barely registered what he said because as he was talking he picked up a large sack and dumped a pile of paper onto the floor.
Letters. Letters and letters and letters. Well over a year of lost letters.
There has to be at least a hundred. All addressed to you, from Paris, from Mister Thomas Jefferson.

LOCATION: Autumn and Alexander’s house.
TIMEFRAME: 03/15, late night.
OPEN TO: @alexsmu ( Alexander Montgomery )
It was true that Autumn was a huge sucker for her daughter, and she was never the biggest person on saying ‘no’ in general. So when Riley wanted to stay up with her and Alexander and watch cartoons, that’s exactly what she would let her daughter do for the night. Autumn loved her, and all she wanted to do was make sure she was happy and healthy. As she looked over at Riley cuddled up in the loveseat, wrapped up while sipping on chocolate almond, giggling and watching Paw Patrol on her iPad, she knew that she had made the right decision. She always wondered what Alexander thought of her parenting skills in that regard, and if he possibly judged her for her decisions. No matter what he thought, though, she knew that it was something that would never changed about her. Autumn plopped back onto the couch, settling in between Alexander’s legs and giggling quietly to herself. Quiet Friday nights with the two of them were her favorite, and even though she was young and should be out and partying, she preferred nights with her boyfriend and daughter. This was her favorite thing to be doing. They were cuddled up on the couch, binging Gossip Girl on Netflix -- thankfully Alexander had agreed to it -- and just enjoying each other’s company. “I love you,” Autumn blurted out suddenly, turning around to kiss him gently. She let it linger for a moment, distracted when she heard her daughter exclaim that she loved her too moments later. Autumn couldn’t help but snort and kiss Alexander again quickly before she looked over towards her daughter. “Yes. And you too, baby girl.”

LOCATION: Rose residence.
TIMEFRAME: Very early morning, 1/10.
OPEN TO: @alexsmu ( Alexander Montgomery )
"Why are you here?” A familiar small sleepy voice brought Autumn out of a deep sleep, her brows furrowed as she wondered when she fell asleep. She felt a weight on her chest, knowing it was her daughter -- oftentimes, Riley crawled up to her chest like a cat in order to wake her up -- and couldn’t help but smile sleepily as she noticed her daughter poking a sleeping Alex’s face. Without saying anything, Autumn wrapped her arms around Riley and brought her closer to her and kissed her forehead. She let Alex slowly wake up, laughing quietly as Riley continued to look at him as if she was trying to figure out a puzzle. “Mommy, why?” The young girl questioned once more, and Autumn kissed her forehead again and took a deep breath. “Baby girl,” Autumn started, her voice thick with sleep. She never thought she’d have to explain why Alex was around, but.. here she was. Autumn couldn’t gauge whether that was a good or bad thing. “Mommy’s friend, Alex, came over last night. We just stayed up too late and fell asleep. No biggie.”
Riley seemed satisfied with this answer and nodded as if it was a good enough explanation for her. Her eyes darted around the room, and Autumn knew that she was looking for her tablet. “Your iPad is on the coffee table, sweetie.” Finally, Autumn looked over at Alex and gave him a sleepy smile. First and foremost, her mornings were full of Riley. Waking up next to Alex wasn’t something Autumn had ever thought she’d do again, and in some ways she was grateful for it. “Sorry,” Autumn mumbled somewhat awkwardly, pushing herself up on the couch. She knew her hair was all over the place, and she ran her hand through it and winced as she accidentally tugged on some knots. “Riley likes to get up really early and play word games on her iPad,” she explained as Riley crawled back up on the couch with her iPad in her hands as the game played music from it quietly.
Autumn checked her phone finally and realized that it was only six in the morning and groaned. “Oh my gosh, why?” Autumn laughed, rubbing her eyes sleepily. “Seriously, I’m sorry. But.. I had a good time last night with you. Would you, um.. Want to stay for breakfast? If not, at least let me make you a cup of coffee for the road?”

TAGGING: Autumn Rose, Alexander Montgomery.
LOCATION: The Sheraton Mesa Hotel at Wrigleyville West. Mesa, Arizona.
TIMEFRAME: 2/18, late night.
WARNINGS: Mentions of: domestic violence, abortion, manipulation, rape.
NOTES: Completed Discord. After Autumn’s sister sent her pictures of Alex taking body shots off girls, they get into an argument. And then things get fluffy, and they’re kind of official now.
AUTUMN ROSE It was safe to say that Autumn Rose felt like a complete and total fool. After receiving text messages of Alexander at a party only a few miles away from her, doing body shots off of women and God knows what else, she felt completely defeated. Back in college, she was used to Alexander's partying days, and oftentimes never commented on it -- they were never official or that 'serious'. However, after everything that had happened between them, she didn't think she'd have to deal with something like this. Autumn was the kind of person who'd much rather stay in than party, and with a four year old by her side, there wasn't much of a choice for her. She knew that she would never be able to compare to those kinds of women, and wondered if that would be much better for him. Even though he'd done all of this for them, it didn't diminish the fact that it felt like Autumn was being cheated on. And of course, the two of them weren't even together. After putting Riley to sleep, Autumn decided to stay curled up in her bed and read a book. She needed to get lost in another world and try her best not to think of Alexander or their text messages, and she hoped that he wouldn't end up at her hotel room. Autumn knew that she wasn't good enough, and she certainly didn't want to have the conversation. So, she stayed there, messy hair and glasses, reading until her eyes started to feel just a little bit itchy.
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
'Alexander Montgomery, notorious party boy.' In college, that was him and even in Detroit, he ended up partying quite a bit, especially after Sam's passing. He figured a lot of his new teammates had heard of his partying ways and how he loved drinking and dancing and hanging out with strippers. So, after a relatively short day, a few decided to go out and party in Phoenix and asked Alexander to join them. Even though all he wanted was to go to Autumn's hotel room and hang out with her and Riley, he knew he couldn't alienate himself already, especially given the fact that he'd done that in Detroit and he wanted to turn a new leaf in Chicago. Although he was enjoying himself somewhat, he was thinking about hanging out with his girls, and he guessed the guys could tell he wasn't all there and decided to get a few exotic dancers so they could do body shots off of one another. Against his better judgment, he did what his teammates wanted but after a few more shots, he called it a night and got an Uber back to the team hotel, citing early workouts for pitchers and his need to sleep early for them. He never would've thought that pictures would be circulating online so quickly, and he especially didn't think Autumn would see them before him. She was mad. She was upset. She didn't want to hear what she probably thought were excuses, but he needed to see her. Grabbing another Uber, he went over to Autumn and Riley's hotel, hoping she would hear him out if they were face to face. Alexander knocked softly, murmuring against the door that it was him and to please open up. All he wanted was to explain to her what had happened tonight.
AUTUMN ROSE
Even though Autumn decided she didn't want to see Alexander for the rest of the night, she knew that he would most likely make his way over to her hotel room. As she continued reading her book, eyes glued to the pages of her Kindle, she kept her ears open just in case he decided to stop by. After fifteen minutes of distractedly reading a chapter, she heard a soft knock against their hotel room door. She couldn't help but sit straight up, leaving her Kindle where she'd left it. Before she made her way to the front door, she stuck her head in Riley's room and made sure that she was still sleeping. She smiled softly at the mop of blonde hair that she saw, wanting nothing more than to scoop her up into her arms and pepper her with kisses. Reality called, though, and she felt that familiar anxiety as she walked towards the front door. She'd never been really good at confrontation, but the fact of the matter was that he was doing body shots off of random women while she and her daughter were sitting at a hotel and waiting for him. After a few seconds of debating herself, Autumn opened the door and willed herself to stay strong. Though she thought seeing Alexander would make her resolve crumble, it only made her feel more upset with him. "What are you doing here?" Autumn whispered, brows furrowed. She knew exactly what he was doing, but she wanted to see what he'd say in response.
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Alexander had seen that face a more than just a handful of times during college - she was upset, but trying to hold it in for the time being only to have her eyes betray her. They'd always told the full story, even when she didn't want them to. He didn't blame her, either. Those pictures were telling and he wondered what she was thinking and what her insecurities were telling her. "I'm here to explain those pictures" he replied quietly after looking around and noticing Riley wasn't there, immediately realizing the little girl was already asleep, "'cause I know you're upset and I know you're thinkin' the worst of me. I don't blame you. I kept lookin' at 'em on the way here, and they do look pretty bad." He paused, taking in a deep breath as he stopped himself from cupping her face so she could look at him and know that those pictures meant nothing. "The guys wanted to go out 'cause we had an easy day today. Look, babe, it's hard to shake off that image I have, y'know? Partyin' all the time, havin' a good time with booze and girls especially after Sam..." he trailed off, he wasn't there to talk about Sam. "I guess they wanted to see what a night out with me was like and knowin' that I need to not alienate myself and that I can't be the odd man out, I went out with 'em." Shaking his head, he scratched the stubble along his chin, trying to find the words in order to explain himself. "But I wasn't enjoyin' myself 'cause I wanted to be here with you girls, so they brought in... dancers. I swear that after those pictures were taken, I literally went back to the hotel. I didn't wanna be there anymore. That ain't me. I promise you that ain't me."
AUTUMN ROSE
As soon as Alexander started speaking, Autumn shut the door to the hotel behind him as to not bother anyone else staying at the establishment. It wasn't too late, but she was always extra sure to not bother other people. She leaned back against the wall, opting to actually listen to his explanation. In college, she never really was in the right place to tell him that she preferred him to stay in with her. Now, things were different. She had a four year old daughter, and that was always her first priority no matter what. At this thought, she looked back over towards Riley's hotel room, making sure the door hadn't been opened in the short amount of time. Autumn wanted to pull away when she felt his palm against her cheek, but she stood there for a moment and watched him, listening to his words. The moment he mentioned Sam, though, Autumn pulled away from his touch and took a step back. She didn't want to think about his ex-wife, especially because she did her best to forget that had ever existed, no matter how terrible that seemed. Alexander was saying that it wasn't him, but she couldn't help shake off all the bad things that she was feeling. "You.." Autumn started, brows furrowed. She really wasn't good at standing up for herself, usually. "You brought me  and my daughter out here. And all I can really do is sit here and wait for you." She paused, wanting to just disappear back into her hotel room and continue reading. She preferred that world to this one, especially in this moment. "It's not fair," she whispered with a shrug, just to brush off exactly how upset she was. "All I ever do is wait for people. I just sit around and wait for them." Instead of thinking about what he'd said, she just shook her head and motioned towards the door. "Maybe you should just go, Alex."
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Even though he wanted to talk about things, Alexander soon realized that talking just led to Autumn being even more upset with him; he'd never really been good at talking and explaining himself, but he knew he needed to find a way to do so tonight. She was right, of course - he did bring her to Arizona to spend time with him but more often than not, he had to be at camp and Autumn and Riley had to find things to do to pass the time. It wasn't fair to them. Perhaps he'd been selfish by setting them up in Arizona for a week so he could see them at the end of the day. "I can't go and leave it like this..." Alexander trailed off, grimacing as he stood his ground, allowing the distance she'd created to stay the same - it was best to not be too in her face as he didn't want her to feel like he was suffocating her. He didn't want a fight or even an argument, feeling as if it would remind her of her time with Xavier. "It ain't fair. You're right. We got to spend time at camp Saturday 'cause they allowed us to bring our family. We had the day off on Sunday and we were able to explore Phoenix. Every other day, you've had to wait for me to be done with practice. It ain't fair that you're here by yourself when you could be in Chicago. I know that. I just wanted to be able to see you at the end of the day 'cause you'd... God, just seein' you would make me  happy."Frustrated with himself and the situation he found himself in, he groaned quietly, running a hand through his hair as he tried to find a way to make her believe that whatever had happened tonight had meant nothing. "I love you" he whispered even though he knew that at the moment, she probably didn't believe him, "and I ain't tryin' to make a fool out of you or anythin'. You ain't gotta wait for me 'cause I'm already right here and, fuck, I promise I ain't goin' nowhere." Of course this would be their first real argument. Of course it was over his partying and drinking. "The girls were their idea. Not mine. I don't... I don't care for that life anymore. That ain't me. I know you ain't gonna believe me, but please at least try. I just wanna be with you. I don't care about anythin' else except being with you and Riley. Please know I'm tellin' the truth."
AUTUMN ROSE
When Autumn with Xavier, she'd always felt like she wasn't good enough. He had manipulated her, somehow, to think that she needed to be perfect for him. It was never up to his standards, and so instead he would spend the night with other women and made sure to flaunt it in her face. Even when Riley was around, Xavier would come home with other women, making sure they were the perfect kind of model -- she assumed that they were maybe being paid for it. No matter what Autumn did, she was never good enough. "They were really pretty," Autumn muttered, not bothering to look up at him. In the six years that they'd been away from one another, she had been through a lot and felt completely lost. Even though Alexander was explaining to her that he didn't mean any of it, she couldn't help but focus on one thing. "If you didn't want to do it, then why did you?" She finally looked up from the floor, pushing her glasses up the bridge of his nose. She was holding back tears, angry at herself for not being able to trust and feeling like this could be far too much for her. They weren't in a relationship and Alexander was free to do whatever he wanted, but she couldn't help but feel betrayed. "If you weren't that person anymore, then you wouldn't have done it. I know..." She was whispering now, afraid that she'd upset herself too much. "I know that I'm not enough. I'm not fun, I don't.. party.. I'm not who I used to be at all." Autumn shook her head, chewing on her bottom lip as a means to distract herself and not make her cry. "I have a daughter... I don't know, Alexander. That's just... You did it, and that's all I can focus on."
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
"Because they wanted me to..." Alexander whispered, shaking his head at how fucking stupid that sounded as he said it out loud. What was he? A sixteen year old child trying to fit in with the older kids? Even then, he'd never been the type of guy who didn't fit in and had always been the life of the party. "Look, the guys and I in Detroit... we had a fallin' out after everything. They only tolerated me 'cause I kept winning and, hell, sometimes I was the only one who won so they had to keep appearances intact, y'know? That we were all buddies who went out drinkin' together and hung out even when we didn't have to. But it wasn't like that at all. When you end up alienating yourself and bein' shunned in the clubhouse... that ain't a good feeling. No one would even look at me. It fucking sucked. So... I guess I didn't want that this time, but I went about it the wrong way." Everything he was saying seemed like the wrong thing. Everything he was saying made him think he was pushing her way rather than pulling her back in. Although he could blame Jefferson and Xavier for this, he knew this was all him. "I didn't wanna be that guy again. But, look... I'll tell 'em tomorrow that I can't party like that anymore and that I don't wanna. It ain't fun for me anymore. Tonight... fuck, tonight I didn't have a good time at all. That's when I realized how much I've changed, y'know?" He shook his head as she spoke, bringing herself down and saying that she wasn't enough and wasn't fun and all that. He hated that he'd made her think she wasn't enough and even more so since he knew she never saw herself as beautiful - except she was more beautiful than any of those fake dancers."You are enough and you are fun, babe. I don't wanna party. I'd rather come home to you and we grab a glass of wine and watch somethin' on Netflix or hang out with Riley if she's still awake. That's fun to me now. Y'know... feelin' like we're a family." He was tired, a little drunk, a little upset, angry and exasperated with himself, but he wanted Autumn to know he was being honest. "They're family guys too, y'know? I mean, the older guys get it. They'll understand that I ain't like that anymore and they'll help the younger guys see that. I ain't gonna party like that." He shrugged, hands in his pockets, "I don't wanna be the party guy anymore. I got you. I don't need anythin' else."
AUTUMN ROSE
Even though Autumn heard Alexander as he explained things, she couldn't let go of the hurt that she'd previously felt. Most recently, he had been the one to put her back together while she was incredibly broken. He was the one that was supposed to comfort her, and instead... Instead, he had made her feel like this. More than anything, Autumn wanted to hold her ground and tell him that it wasn't okay, and that he could go back to his hotel. Instead, she stood there and listened to him talk about all of his teammates and she couldn't help but feel like she didn't belong. Not anywhere, really. She only really had Riley, and that... well, that was it. Autumn couldn't help but soften just a little bit when he called the three of them a family, but shook her head. "It's okay. I can understand why you wouldn't want to do all of that, especially when we're not.. together?" It was more of a question, because honestly she hadn't known what the two of them were. They were floating in the middle of something, and she couldn't really ever figure out what it was. Summer and Julian mentioned that they needed to slow down, but now it felt like they just needed to figure out what exactly they were -- this was miscommunication. Even then, the hurt still remained.. Even if Alexander had an incredibly good reason for what he did. "Alright," was all that Autumn could bring herself to say, making her way towards her hotel room, not looking behind her to see if he was following her.
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Unsure about whether or not Autumn was dismissing him or wordlessly allowing him to follow her inside the room, Alexander stood there quietly, brows furrowed as he thought about what to do next. Sure, he could go back to the team hotel and give her some time and space, but he knew that it would only make her overthink things. Alexander didn't want that. It wasn't even about him being selfish, either - he knew that he needed to talk to her about things, telling her that she was enough and that he'd just been an idiot. She was insecure due to how she'd been treated for so many years. He knew he had to say something to fix that because he in no way, shape or form wanted for her to think she wasn't enough for him since she was... well, everything to him. In the end, he decided to follow her into the room and sighed as he leaned against the doorframe, feeling like he'd fucked them up before they'd even really started. "We're not together" he whispered, frowning at his own words, "but I want us to be. I told you, I'm willin' to wait until you're ready. I wanna talk things through with you and make sure we're on the same page 'cause I want this. I know it'll be hard and I'll be away from Chicago week in and week out. I know you're tired of waitin' for people, but..." He trailed off, suddenly upset with himself. This really wasn't fair to her. He scoffed, realizing that he was being selfish. "I'm a selfish asshole, ain't I? I'm really a selfish asshole, holy shit. I'm just standin' here, tellin' you that I want us to be a family when I'm gonna be gone all the time. How the fuck's that fair to you? To Riley?" Frustrated, he let out a deep breath. "I just wanna be with you. I just wanna make you happy. But I'm not makin' you happy, am I?"
AUTUMN ROSE
"You're not... You're not making me happy?" Autumn asked incredulously, brows furrowed as she tried to figure out exactly what he had meant by that. For the past six years, Autumn had dealt with unimaginable pain -- being forced to have sex, being hit for not doing anything right and being manipulated into thinking that it was all okay. She couldn't help the tears that prickled at her eyes as she tried to hush the voice of Xavier yelling in her mind, reminding her that she didn't deserve anything good. Even though Autumn was sure that she didn't have faith anymore, she knew that she'd spent several years in her own personal hell. "You don't know what I've been through," Autumn told him, her voice cracking as she did her absolute best to keep the tears at bay. After all she's been through, a couple of pictures shouldnt've made her feel this much. "This scar on my ring finger," she started, holding up her left hand, knowing they'd had that specific conversation."It's not the only scar. That wasn't some isolated incident, and it wasn't even the worst of it." She'd never been completely honest about what had happened over the years -- not even to Summer -- and it was hard to really explain to people what it felt like to be a prisoner even though it was your own fault. "I have scars. Everywhere. I spent every.." Autumn stopped herself, tears falling easily now. She looked up at Alexander, wondering why something so small with him would upset her so much. "I spent every single second in fear. I can't remember a moment I felt happiness, other than when Riley was born, okay?" She chewed on her bottom lip, hating the fact that she was crying over something so simple -- but for Autumn, nothing was really simple anymore. "You've made me so happy, Alexander.." She sniffled, ducking her head and hiding her face from him as she tried to wipe away the tears. "That's why this hurt so much, okay? Because I was happy and it felt like everything came crashing down, like.. like it always does to me."
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
As Autumn explained a fraction of what she'd been through, showing him her ring finger again and telling him that that wasn't her only scar, Alexander felt a tight knot in his throat. Truly, he had no idea of everything Xavier had done to her - he could imagine it, he could picture it, but whatever he came up with wouldn't be enough because Autumn had lived it. He bit the inside of his cheek, furrowing his brows as he tried his damnedest not to break down. Even hearing it was tough for him, he couldn't imagine what Autumn was feeling as she was remembering what she'd been through. And he understood. Perhaps it had been some dumb pictures taken at a dumb party, but to her, it was something more. He and Autumn had been doing so well, but his actions made her think that she wasn't gonna get the chance to be happy. He should've known that as a public figure, there were bound to be people who'd love to get attention by posting pictures online. He never should've done something he didn't want to do in the first place. Alexander pulled her in for a tight hug, kissing her temple then the top of her head as he gently rubbed his hand up and down her back, attempting to soothe her. After a moment, he pulled away and led her to the bed, motioning for her to sit down as he knelt before her. "I'm sorry I hurt you. That was never my intention. I'm sorry. I... I'm sorry what I did made you think that you, I don't know, aren't meant to be happy. You are. I wanna be the one who shows you that you're meant to be happy, okay? I want you to be happy with me. You and me, y'know? I want that. I promise I ain't gonna do some bullshit to make you think otherwise. I love you. I love you. I'll be here for you and Riley, no matter what. Let me show you. Let me prove it to you."
AUTUMN ROSE
No matter how much Autumn wanted to push Alexander off of her, she couldn’t help but fall apart underneath his touch. When he wrapped his arms around her, she felt herself let out a quiet sob that she hadn’t known she was holding in. She stayed pressed against him, listening to his words as she balled her fist in his shirt, using him as an anchor of sorts. Her legs were shaky as he led her over to the bed, though she was thankful to finally sit down. Autumn felt as is she was slowly falling apart, and she just needed Alexander to help pick up the pieces. As he promised her happiness, she couldn’t help but smile softly through her tears. Because of Xavier, she had never been too good at holding onto grudges. She knew that she wasn’t worth someone groveling for her, and Xavier always made sure that she’d know that. “Okay,” was all Autumn could bring herself to say, looking down at him and wondering why she had to hurt so much. It was exhausting, always being sad.
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
"Look at me" Alexander whispered, tipping her chin slightly so she could look down at him, a small smile pulling at the corner of his lips. "I don't care how many times I gotta say it. What happened tonight meant nothin' to me and I promise somethin' like that ain't gonna happen again. I don't want you to think that you're not enough for me." He couldn't even begin to wrap his around what she must've been thinking and feeling, but he could put himself in her shoes and feel even a fraction of not being good enough. It hurt. He couldn't imagine what kind of games her mind was playing on her because of Xavier... and because of him. "I fucked up in college. I remember this one conversation we had when you begged me to choose you and to be with you instead of all those other girls. I never thought I was good enough for you, y'know? I didn't think I was worthy of bein' with someone like you, so I became self-destructive. That ain't me anymore. I grew up." Grabbing her hands in his, he kissed her knuckles then kissed the scar on her ring finger, lingering there for a moment. "I know I'm years too late and I hope your feelings haven't changed, but I choose you. Just you. You've been it for me since college... I was just too much of a coward to go for it. I'm here now and I... I choose you."
AUTUMN ROSE
I grew up. Autumn remembered when she had begged Alexander to choose her instead, and she’d felt a little embarrassed at the memory. Ever since she knew him, she’d been head over heels in love with him. She stood by his side as he slept with whoever he wanted to, though made sure to be the one to hold him when things got too rough with Jefferson. Autumn couldn’t help but believe him when he said he’d grown up, her heart feeling stuck in her throat when he kissed her ring finger, feeling it itch slightly as he did so. Before she could stop herself, Autumn told him that she chose him too. “My feelings have never changed, Alexander..” Autumn trailed off, her eyes still locked on his. The night had been a whirlwind, sure, but she couldn’t help but believe him when he said that he wasn’t that person anymore. Perhaps the cameras didn’t catch him stepping away, looking uncomfortable afterwards. She only saw the pictures and jumped straight to conclusion. He explanation was more than enough for her. Compared to Xavier, Alexander was her prince.. and then some. “I will always choose you. In this lifetime, in an alternate universe..” She trailed off, pressing her forehead against his, exhaling. “Always.”
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
"Always" Alexander repeated, sighing as he closed his eyes and took a moment to take it all in because it seemed as if she believed what he was saying, and that meant the world to him. "I loved you then" he whispered, a soft chuckle escaping his lips, "even a dumbass like me knew what love was 'cause of you. I was just too stupid to go for it, but I loved you. Still do. Always will." Opening his eyes, he pulled away so he could look at her, his smile never faltering, "we've both been through so much - together and apart - but, I dunno, I think it's pretty telling that we're here right now, right? Eventually, we found each other again. And... yeah, it's gonna take some time and there's probably gonna be other little arguments 'cause we're finding each other and finding ourselves again, but we're gonna do that together." He cupped her cheek, gently rubbing his thumb along her skin, still in awe that a girl like her loved a guy like him. "But we're gonna make it. We're gonna be a family... you, me, Riley... other kiddos eventually. There's gonna be another ring on your finger. We're gonna share a last name." Smiling, he leaned in to kiss her then murmured against her lips, "I'll wait for us to get there. I ain't goin' nowhere."
AUTUMN ROSE
Autumn wasn’t sure how the evening started with her not wanting to see him to them saying that they chose one another. “You weren’t a..” She often struggled to let go and curse, always opting for something more family friendly. She cleared her throat, clearly thinking about it. “Dumbbutt.” As soon as Alexander mentioned them having children together, Autumn’s features softened. She’d always missed their child, and she felt a pang in her heart for what she lost. He promised forever, them sharing a last name, and much more. Though Autumn had never been through the actual steps of a relationship, she was almost sure that this was the official beginning of theirs. She didn’t know the right things to say, so she closed the gap between them, kissing him soft and slow. She stayed there for a moment, enjoying the taste of his lips as she thought about kissing him forever. Suddenly, being upset over Alexander doing body shots seemed silly. There was so much more to them than that, and to let it come between them after all these years seemed useless. “I’m yours,” Autumn found herself saying, despite Summer and Julian’s advice to take it slow. Autumn knew one thing and one thing only: she loved Alexander after all this time. “I’m yours, okay? From now until forever. I’m.. really sorry about tonight. I overreacted a little bit.”
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Alexander waved her apology off, not wanting her to feel as if her feelings weren't important because they were. If she was upset over the pictures, then she had every right to be - they were bad and put out the wrong message. She had every right to be upset over them. "It wasn't an overreaction" he whispered, smiling sheepishly at her before he continued, "they were pretty bad. I probably would've been upset if I saw you in a... compromising position." He couldn't help but wink at her, knowing she would blush a little at the thought and also hoping that she remembered the times she was the one doing body shots off of his half-naked figure. Those were the days. He looked up at her after a moment, a soft smile on his features as he thought about how the night had transpired. "I'm yours too..." he trailed off, smirking, "your dumbbutt." Cupping her cheek, he kissed the tip of her nose, murmuring, "you think our kids will look more like me or you? 'Cause I think they'll probably have your blue eyes, but my jaw. What do you think?"

If anyone could make Autumn Rose feel like a princess for a night, it was Alexander Montgomery. After everything the two of them had been through, he still had a knack for making her feel as if she was the most important person in the world (to him). Not only did he make Autumn feel like this, but her daughter was able to feel like a princess for a night. It’d been a lovely night for the three of them, and all Autumn wanted to do was show Alex exactly how grateful she was. She wanted to kiss him for hours, until her lips were swollen and she couldn’t breathe anymore. Even though she knew she should address the hurt she’d been through, she couldn’t help but just focus on how in love with Alex she still was and would always be. It was almost midnight and in true Riley Rose fashion, she was very much awake and talkative. Autumn had somehow convinced her to stay in ‘her room’ and let her and Alex have privacy, with promising her she could stay up as long as she wanted to. Autumn knew she wouldn’t last long, so she happily walked back towards her own room, smiling softly at Alex because they were finally alone. She didn’t necessarily trust Riley to stay put, so she didn’t immediately go and jump on top of Alex like she wanted to. Instead, she kissed him softly, and then rest her forehead against his. “Thank you so much for today. I somehow convinced her to stay put, but I don’t know how long that’ll last.”
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
For the past six years, Valentine's Day had been a chore for Alexander. At first, he'd been single and had used it as an excuse to hook up with random single girls at clubs. When he started dating and subsequently married Sam, he only celebrated it because she wanted to - every reservation, every bouquet of flowers (never roses), every generic necklace he got her, it was out of obligation. That's what one did for their significant other, right? That's what Valentine's Day was about. Yet, this was the first Valentine's Day he actually cared about - one with Autumn and Riley in Phoenix, of all places. They'd all dressed up and gone to a fancy restaurant, celebrating as if they were a family, and he enjoyed every second of it. It didn't matter that it hadn't been just him and Autumn. In fact, he welcomed that Riley was there too. She was the most important part of Autumn's life, and Alexander wanted both of them to know that she was important to him too. He didn't realize, though, that she had a knack of staying up way past her bedtime and even though he wanted to chuckle at that, he knew that it would be counterintuitive and would earn him a glare from Autumn. And so, as Autumn led her to the other bedroom, Alexander stayed behind, shrugging off his button up before hastily putting on a t-shirt then taking Autumn's present from his duffle bag. While not the best place to carry it, it was still the most practical. "Thank you for wantin' to spend today with me" he murmured against her lips as he kissed her again, chuckling quietly before pressing his lips against hers one more time. "I got you something" he whispered, pulling away in order to grab the jewelry box from the bedside table then handing the long, velvet box to her, "don't say that I shouldn't have bought you anything. I wanted to. Go 'head. Open it." Inside, there was a rose gold pendant necklace, with a simple, yet beautiful diamond... and there was no way he was going to tell her how much it cost.
AUTUMN ROSE
“Of course I wanted to spend today with you,” Autumn told him, her tone matter-of-fact. There wasn’t anyone else in the world she’d rather spend Valentine’s Day with, and she felt so lucky that she was finally able to after six too long years. She kissed him back, enjoying their casual and quick kisses, secretly loving the fact that it was becoming their normal, even though she shouldn’t. She got distracted by her thoughts when she saw the necklace, gasping softly as she took it out of the box. “It’s gorgeous, Alexander,” she murmured, looking at it for a moment before her eyes flickered back up to him. “Will you help me put it on?” She stood up and immediately pulled her hair up into a ponytail, making sure to get everything out of the way. Autumn was still in her dress from dinner, and she was sure the necklace would look amazing with it. After he helped put it on her, Autumn looked in the mirror and couldn’t help but smile. Most times, she never really felt beautiful. But with the way Alex was looking at her, she couldn’t help but believe it too. She blushed and turned back towards him, pulling him in for a gentle kiss. “Thank you so much. I.. I didn’t get you anything, but I did draw you something.” She walked over towards her book bag, pulling out a page from one of her sketchbooks. It was a simple sketch of Autumn and Alex, but was dated with Valentine’s day six years ago with them kissing cuddled up on his couch. Our last Valentine’s, it read, and underneath it said, to many more. She handed it to him, shrugging. “It’s not much, but I figured I could give it to you today.”
ALEXANDER MONGOMERY
Alexander let out a breath as he looked at Autumn wearing the dress he'd gotten for her along with the necklace, a low whistle escaping his lips as he saw how beautiful she looked - breathtaking, really. Even though he wanted to say something along the lines of wanting to rip off the dress off of her, he stayed quiet, kissing her back just as softly before she pulled away to get something for him. The fact that she'd been drawing lately meant the world to him, even more so that she was sharing her art with him again and going out of her way to make something for him. To Alexander, it meant that she was slowly on her way to being herself again - that, more than anything, was the biggest gift she could give him. "To many more" he read with a smile, nodding and leaning in to kiss her again, murmuring against her lips about how much he loved her sketch. "You're amazing" he whispered as he pulled away, looking at the sketch and smiling again, "you even got the stubble down, huh?" He ran his fingers along his jaw, glad that he'd shaved earlier - he had a feeling she wasn't the biggest fan of his full beard. "You tellin' me I should shave more often?" he asked, smirking at her, "Hm. You tellin' me you like the feel of my stubble when I'm between your legs?"
AUTUMN ROSE
"Thank you," Autumn whispered back when he told her that she was amazing, feeling as if wild butterflies were attacking the inside of her stomach. No matter how long the two of them knew each other, it felt like Alex would always make her just a little bit nervous. She had just recently gotten back into art, and the fact that he appreciated her work so much meant everything to her. Especially because he was one of the reasons her muse slowly started to come back. It wasn't what it used to be, but Autumn was working hard to finally get it back. She was shaken out of her thoughts when he mentioned his stubble, watching his fingers intently as they danced along the skin of his jawline. Autumn had been grateful that Alex shaved for the night, and she felt her cheeks grow warmer when he mentioned him in between her legs. She let out a breathy sigh, not being able to take her mind off of what he just said -- him, in between her legs. "Stop it," Autumn chuckled nervously, wrapping her arms around his neck and reaching up to kiss him, hoping Riley wouldn't barge in anytime soon.
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
"You stop thinkin' about me between your legs" Alexander countered with a shake of his head, giving her a look that let her know that he was certain that's what she was thinking about given the pink tint of her cheeks. "Besides... we can't have none of that right now, babe. Who knows if Riley's sleepin' or if she's gonna wanna come in and chill with us instead." As he spoke, he kissed her neck and traced the necklace with his index finger, loving the fact that she was wearing something he'd given her. He'd always spoiled her, sure, but this was different. Now it was different. Before, he wasn't sure whether he wanted to make it official, citing wanting to be a single college guy but, really, believing that he wasn't good enough for a girl like her. Now? Now he knew that no matter the hardships or his insecurities, he wanted to be with her. "We shouldn't be doin' this" he whispered against her skin then pulled away, looking at her innocently though there was a hint of a mischievous glint in his eye. "We gotta be angels tonight, babe."
AUTUMN ROSE
Autumn couldn’t help but frown when Alex told her that they couldn’t do anything right now because of Riley, but was soon distracted by the way he was kissing her neck. It clicked almost immediately that he was teasing her, and she let out a breathy chuckled when he told her they needed to be angels. “No, no teasing,” Autumn whispered, feeling like she needed to be extra quiet just in case. Even though it was possibly for Riley to walk in at any moment, all Autumn knew was that she wanted Alex. “It’s Valentine’s Day, and I want you..” She trailed off, blushing simply because she said she wanted him. Alex was well aware that she was bad at making the first move and getting things going, so his teasing was a way to just have her wanting more and more. “I just want to kiss you right now,” Autumn told him quietly, pressing her body flush against him. Her dress was a little tight but she loved it, especially because she could still his hands against her through the fabric. She looked up at him through her eyelashes, forgetting about the world around them. “It’s Valentine’s Day and I want you to kiss me.”
ALEXANDER MONTOMGERY
Alexander loved that she was taking control of the situation, telling him - and showing him - what she wanted. While she'd always had a little difficulty with that, he knew that when she wanted something, even if she was embarrassed to say it, she would end up voicing it out of frustration. "I wanna kiss you too" he replied in a voice short of a whisper, his hands finding her hips as their bodies pressed impossibly close together; his fingers gently gripped her there as she looked up at him, her blue eyes shining up at him. "It's Valentine's Day and I'm gonna give you what you want" he said as he leaned in, his left hand traveling up her body so he could cup her cheek, "but let's be real..." he trailed off, his lips brushing against hers for a moment before he continued, "it ain't just today. It's tomorrow. It's the day after that. It's... for however long you want me." He didn't let her reply to that, wanting to delay that talk about the future for a little while longer. Not today. Today, he was going to give her what she wanted. Closing his eyes as he pressed his lips against hers, he tangled his hand in her hair and deepened the kiss, his tongue brushing against hers. 'I love you' he wanted to say, as he'd been wanting to say to make up for the times he didn't say it, but he kept quiet instead as he led them to the bed. "Lay down" he whispered against her lips, knowing they'd have to break the kiss for a second, but also knowing being in bed would make it so much better.
AUTUMN ROSE
Any thoughts of Riley possibly showing up in the middle of them kissing disappeared, and all Autumn could focus on was exactly how much she wanted to kiss him. If she was given the chance, she'd kiss him for hours on end. Just feeling close to him and knowing that he wanted it too was more than enough. Forever how long you want me, he'd said, and she knew that they should talk about what was happening between them, but right now those things weren't important. They had lost time to make up for, and for Autumn, that was all that mattered in this moment. She couldn't help but moan softly against his mouth, grasping at his shirt to bring him closer to her. She always wanted more from him, no matter how much she got. She nodded when he told her to lay down, admiring him in his clothes for just a moment. He was so incredibly handsome, and she couldn't believe that someone like him wanted someone like her. "Okay," she whispered, turning away from him and walking towards the bed. Please don't wake up, Autumn thought about her daughter as she sat on the edge of the bed, scooting until she finally was laying down. Autumn was nothing if not awkward in these situations, and she couldn't help but smile up at him nervously, her head resting on the pillow. "Is this okay?"
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
"Yeah, baby, this is okay." Alexander was used to this - telling her things were okay and reassuring her that what she was doing wasn't wrong and that she was allowed to do things with him that she otherwise wouldn't. It pained him to know that she'd been in a 'relationship' that made her think she had to think twice about the smallest things. Hopefully, he would be able to help her get out of that mindset eventually. Even though he wanted to take his t-shirt off and tear her dress off of her, he knew that it wouldn't be the most prudent thing to do, especially since they didn't know if Riley was actually asleep or still awake in the other room. "I can't get enough of you" he admitted as he settled between her legs, using his arms to hold himself up as he looked at her, "I could spend the rest of the night kissin' you like this and I wouldn't care. I just... fuck, babe, you know you drive me crazy, right?" Alexander smiled at her before he leaned in to kiss her, a kiss that gradually morphed from gentle to hungry, his hands slowly making their way under her dress. "You gotta be quiet, baby" he whispered against her lips after a moan - was it his? Hers? He wasn't sure. "Can't be too loud."
AUTUMN ROSE
"Okay," Autumn murmured, satisfied with herself when he told her that it was okay. She second guessed herself often, and most of it was thanks to her 'relationship' with Xavier. No matter what, she was under the impression that she wasn't good enough. Alex was good at convincing her otherwise, but some things were harder to shake. Autumn sighed happily when he settled on top of her, her arms wrapping around his neck and bringing him in close, pressing their heads together. The words I love you were right on the tip of her tongue, but she kept quiet instead and listened to his words, coming to terms with the fact that she probably wouldn't stop blushing tonight. She got lost in kissing Alex, loving the way it felt to having him all over her -- his hands, his tongue, his lips, his body. Autumn just wanted more, but the looming thought of her daughter held her somewhat back. Autumn couldn't help but rock her hips forward, trying to create some type of friction between the two of them, needing it. "But you feel so good," Autumn whined quietly, her fingernails dragging over the back of his t-shirt, wanting him as close as possible. "I can't help it."
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Instead of making another dirty comment in order to make her blush, he moaned quietly as he also moved his hips against hers, glad that he was wearing slacks instead of jeans - he could feel her better like this. "You feel fuckin' amazing" he whispered against her lips, sliding her dress higher until it wasn't really covering her thighs anymore and instead, was pooling by her hips. He slowly dragged his fingers along her legs, hitching one over his waist so he could have a better angle to press himself against her. "You can't be loud" he reminded her before dragging his teeth along her jaw, softly biting down on her skin as he continued to grind his hips against hers, "but you can grab my hair." Another gentle bite. "Or scratch my back." His tongue dragged along her collarbone before he continued, "or bite my shoulder." His hand teased the inside of her thigh, "but you can't moan my name like I know you want to. You can't beg as loud as you usually do. You can't ask for more by all but screaming it. Can you do that?"
AUTUMN ROSE
"Ohmygod," Autumn groaned quietly as she felt Alex pressed up against her. It made her feel dizzy with how much she wanted him, and to feel him straining against his slacks drove her wild. Though she'd never be able to bring herself to do it, she just wanted to rip off their clothes and have him be inside of her. He made her feel desperate, something she wasn't really used to feeling. Autumn knew that she was wet, and she wondered if he could feel it through her panties yet. He was grinding against her and telling her she couldn't make any noise, and even as he talked to her she had to stop herself from saying his name. She pressed her face against the crook of his neck, moaning quietly and nodding as he told her exactly what to do. She preferred that Alex was in control because she trusted him -- and that meant the world. "I'm gonna try.." She whispered, fingers digging into his shoulder as she pushed her hips up to meet his, wanting so badly for there to be less clothes in between them. Just before Autumn could work up the courage to tell Alex exactly that, she was distracted by a shuffling sound outside the door. A giggle was heard from outside the door, and Autumn froze up immediately. Riley. "Mommmmmmmmy," Riley said in a sing-song voice, clearly still very awake. "Can I come in, pease?"
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
While Alexander enjoyed taking his time when it came to Autumn - and he did take his time when he could, praising every inch of her body and telling her that she was beautiful, even though she had never believed him - he knew that this was different. This was filthy and rushed and though he was teasing her, he knew neither of them would be able to hold on for much longer and he'd be taking off her panties soon and unzipping his slacks as well. "Been wantin' to fuck you since you put that dress on" he whispered against her skin, tugging her earlobe between his teeth before adding, "just takin' off your panties and fuckin' you hard and rough, just the way you like it." She was wet, he could feel it, and it only made him want her more. Because of that, he hadn't heard anything else until Riley's voice came from outside the door, asking if she could come in. "Fuck" he cursed under his breath, all but jumping off of Autumn and trying to catch his breath as he ran his hands through his hair, eyes wide as he looked at her. "I should go to the bathroom. I know you're just as horny as I am, but..." he cleared his throat, motioning toward his crotch - the problem was that for him, it was visible. He couldn't help but laugh at their predicament, getting up and fixing her hair and wiping her lips with his thumb until she was decent before heading to the bathroom. "Guess we should get used to this, huh? Ain't gonna be the last time this is gonna happen." It was a promise of a future between them, in a way - where Riley was present and they had to scramble to find a way to act as if nothing was happening. He was okay with that, though. Any future with them was the kind of future he wanted. "I'll come out in a little bit, when I've calmed down. I promise to make it up to you later."
AUTUMN ROSE
Autumn couldn’t help but erupt into a fit of giggles at the look of surprise on Alex’s face, and even more so when he pointed at his crotch as a reason to why he was making his way to the bathroom. She nodded, leaning forward and giving him a gentle kiss. She was still trying to catch her breath, and she pushed herself off of the bed and tried to regain some normalcy before she talked to her daughter. She tugged at her dress and straightened it out, winking over at Alex as she made her way towards the door. “Honey bun,” Autumn sighed as she opened up the door to see a very awake Riley. The young girl looked around the room for Alex quietly, furrowing her brows when she couldn’t find him. She turned towards her mother, and though Autumn knew that she wanted to find Alex, she needed to put her foot down. Autumn grabbed her hand and started leading her back to bedroom, even though Alex was willing to wait things out for Riley. She gave her a speech on how she needed to be a big girl and go to sleep, but ended up dealing with a crying Riley instead. “But I don’t want to go to sleep,” Riley cried, sitting on the edge of the bed with her arms crossed across her chest. Autumn sighed, she disliked having to do things like this. She was never really good at telling her no.
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Alexander knew Riley was looking for him, but he couldn't go out there yet. While he waited, he thought of every little thing that wasn't Autumn underneath him, wet as her body writhed and squirmed, wanting more - sad shit, seeing old people naked, baseball, how bad New York City smells. After a while, his breath had significantly evened out and the evidence of what he and Autumn had been doing was long gone. He furrowed his brows as he got out of the bathroom and heard Riley crying, pursing his lips at the sound; the last thing he wanted was to hear either of them sad. "Hey" he whispered, gently knocking on the door and letting himself in, making his way to the bed and giving Riley a hug. Alexander soothed her by softly rubbing her back for a moment then looked around the room to see if she had any books laying around after she'd pulled away from him.  Although he wanted to tell Riley about their plans for the weekend, he was sure it would sound like a bribe and that was the last thing Autumn needed to have on her hands. "How 'bout we read you somethin'? You think you can try and sleep after we read you one of your favorite stories?"
AUTUMN ROSE
“Look at that.. Alex’s so sweet, isn’t he?” Autumn said softly, loving the way he acted with Riley. Without being prompted, the younger girl immediately wrapped her arms around Alex and climbed over to him, forcing him to hold her and cuddle her. She chuckled, loving the sight of seeing the two of them together. Riley was still crying, talking to Alex about how sleep didn’t sound fun, while Autumn searched for books in the bag she’d brought for Riley. She found a couple of books and gently put them on the bed so she wouldn’t disturb them, and made her way over and sat down next to them. Riley was finally done crying, and by the time that Autumn good look at her she could tell that a sudden wave of exhaustion hit her. “Actually, I have a better idea. You’re such a big girl, right? How about you read by yourself and then go to sleep? I want you to impress mommy by showing me how much of a big girl you can be.” Riley nodded, still pouting, and climbed out of Alex’s arms. “Okay, mommy.” Autumn tucked her in, telling Riley the whole time how she was so proud of her for being big a big girl. Usually, her daughter would get exhausted after crying, and it seemed like Riley was suddenly too tired to even pick up the book. After Alex said good night, they made their way out of the room and Autumn closed the door behind them, chuckling quietly. “Oh my gosh. That just happened.”
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Although both he and Autumn had known that Riley interrupting them was a possibility, it had still been a surprise to him - mostly because he'd been so into it that her little voice didn't register until it was a second too late. Nevertheless, he thought she was absolutely adorable and made sure to help Autumn get her to sleep. It wasn't even because he wanted to get back to it, but rather because he wanted to help Autumn; she'd had to do this on her own for the longest time and had only recently been able to get help from her mother and sisters - it was about time she knew she could count on him to help with Riley too. Once Riley had cried herself into exhaustion, they finally were able to bid her good night and head back to the room. Alexander couldn't help but chuckle as Autumn was, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug from behind then kissing her temple. "Is this what parents gotta go through when they're tryin'a get it in?" He murmured, resting his chin on her shoulder, still hugging her from behind. "I could get used to that..." he mused quietly, trailing off and not realizing what he'd just said - it was normal to him to talk about the future, "we could get creative."
AUTUMN ROSE
Autumn couldn't help but focus on the fact that Alex had referred to them as parents, smiling softly as she realized how much he had already fallen in love with Riley. Ever since she gave birth to her, Riley had been Autumn's number one priority. It seemed as if Alex understood this and did everything he could to make sure that the two of them were happy and content. Instead of commenting on what he had said, she nodded and kissed him on the tip of his nose, happy to think about a future with them. It was easier to forgive him when she realized that he envisioned a future with the three of them. "Creative?" She quirked an eyebrow, giggling as she led Alex back towards her own bedroom. Even though Riley had fallen asleep, there was no promising that she would stay asleep. After she closed the door behind them, she turned towards him and gave him a nervous smile. She could still feel that her panties were soaked, and remembered what it felt like to have him pressed up against her so perfectly. "What're your ideas?"
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Just because the effect she had on him wasn't visible anymore, didn't mean Alexander didn't want her anymore - in fact, it was quite the opposite. Ever since they met, he ended up going back to her for many reasons, even when he was an asshole and said he wanted to sleep around. The main one, though? His feelings for her. She had always been and would always be the best he ever had. "Someone can't get enough of me" he teased, picking her up in one swift move and leading her to the bed. While Riley was currently asleep, he was sure that it didn't mean she'd sleep through the night - and he was okay with that. Like he said, they would just have to find a way to be creative. "First of all..." he trailed off, gently laying her down on the bed, "we ain't gonna be gettin' undressed. It's gonna be rough, filthy and quick and you're gonna have to be quiet. I gave you ideas. S'up to you know how you're gonna keep yourself from screamin' my name."
AUTUMN ROSE
"I can't help it," Autumn giggled shyly when Alex mentioned she couldn't get enough of him, letting out a small squeak in surprise as he scooped her up in his arms. She couldn't tear her eyes away from him, not even as he laid her down on the bed. He didn't even have to touch her or kiss her, and she felt her panties grow increasingly wet -- almost to the point of of being uncomfortable. She squirmed underneath him, feeling overwhelmingly hot as he continued to talk. It was almost like the whole thing with Riley hadn't happened, and he could just as easily have her head spinning in mere moments. "Oh, God," Autumn whispered, feeling somewhat desperate to have him right now. "Okay, I can do that. I can do that if it means I get you.." She trailed off, her thumbs hooking into his belt loops as she tugged him closer, blue eyes staring up at him, and she knew that he could see how much she wanted him. She wanted to voice it, anyway. "Alex.." She started, biting her lip as he eyes flickered down to his lips. "I want you so bad, please.."
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
The intensity in her eyes was driving Alexander wild, the way she was looking at him told him all he needed to know; she wanted him just as much as he wanted her. While he was the one who told Autumn that she needed to be quiet, he had to remind himself as well that Riley was in the other room and he couldn't be as vocal as he usually was. He would also have to focus his energy elsewhere - perhaps by leaving marks all over her chest. "You're always gonna get me, baby" he whispered, the words coming out a little more vulnerable and soft than he meant them to, but he was making sure that she knew his promise for the future was one he intended to keep. When Autumn begged, he was pretty much a goner and he hastily pulled up her dress as he had before so it could pool at her waist. He quickly pulled her underwear off of her, maneuvering it off of her legs as well and throwing it on the floor as he once again settled between her legs. His fingers teased her, a deep but quiet groan rumbling in his chest as he noticed how wet she was for him. "For me?" he asked, continuing to tease her before slowly sliding his index finger inside of her. "You want me that bad, huh? Tell me. C'mon, baby. Tell me what you want."
AUTUMN ROSE
Something about having to keep her clothes on made the whole thing much better to Autumn, and she couldn’t help but love the way he discarded of her underwear so quickly, looking at her as if he wanted to devour her. Her back arched slightly when she felt Alex’s fingers teasing her for a moment, and a gasp got caught in her throat. She opened her mouth to tell him that yes, it was for him, but cut herself off with a quiet moan as she felt his finger inside of her. “Ohmygod,” Autumn mumbled, her hips thrusting upwards, wanting and needing more of him. Feeling these types of things were overwhelming for her, and she was never entirely sure if she was doing it right. When she was with Alex, she tried her hardest to just.. be, and say what she wants. Which is exactly what Alex wanted her to say. “You, you.. I want you,” Autumn stuttered in her words, her fingers digging into his shoulder just a bit, craving something else. “I just want.. everything with you. I just want you...” Autumn swallowed, gathering up the courage to look him in the eyes as she said it, “I want you inside of me.”
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
As Autumn told him that she wanted him, Alexander curled his finger just right, smirking as he felt her fingers digging into his shoulder as she tried to be quiet and also tried to get more from him. There was something pretty damn thrilling about having to do this while still fully clothed, and even more so knowing that they had to be quiet and make minimal noise. When she murmured exactly what she wanted, he let out a deep breath and leaned his forehead against hers, continuing to work his finger and eventually adding another. "Back pocket" he whispered, hoping she could reach "I got my wallet there. Just look for a... fuck, babe, you're so wet - should be a condom there." What? He was prepared in case she wanted to have a little fun with him after dinner. "I love you" he whispered, the words barely audible as he groaned a little louder than he meant to, his fingers teasing her and driving him insane as well in the process.
AUTUMN ROSE
Even though plenty of years had passed, it seemed as if Alex still knew exactly what to do in order to drive Autumn wild. He moved his fingers just right, pressing up perfectly inside of her and while it felt nice, she craved a lot more than just his fingers. She bit down on his shoulder gently as she held in a groan, rocking her hips up rhythmically to meet the thrust of his fingers. It seemed as if Alex felt just as overwhelmed as Autumn as he stuttered on his words, but she understood one thing -- there was a condom in his wallet that was in his back pocket. The fact that he'd brought one along made her blush and she leaned forward and reached around, fishing for his wallet in his back pocket. She grabbed it, looking up at him nervously as she took the condom out of the wallet. She set it on the bedside table and then handed it to Alex, giving him a shy smile and kissing him softly. "Please, baby."
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Though Alexander enjoyed taking his time with Autumn - he knew Xavier had never actually wanted her and sex between them had been for his pleasure only - so he could praise and kiss every inch of her body, constantly telling her that she was beautiful, they both knew that it wouldn’t be the case tonight. He couldn’t keep teasing her and definitely couldn’t spend half an hour going down on her, making her come undone with his tongue. The last thing they needed tonight, on Valentine’s Day, was to be interrupted. Though he hated to remove his fingers, he did just that, maintaining eye contact with Autumn as he licked them clean, giving her a wink before he unbuttoned and unzipped his slacks and quickly grabbed the condom. Even though experienced, he still fumbled around with it, finally rolling it on himself and looking into her eyes as he hitched her leg on his hips, his own body angling in a way he knew would make her crazy. Alexander cursed as he slowly pushed inside, his lips crashing into hers as he tried to swallow their moans in a deep and hungry kiss. Fast. Rough. He had to remember that as he started to move his hips.
AUTUMN ROSE
Even though Autumn and Alex usually took their time when they were together, tonight was different. It was rushed, rough and sloppy -- and she loved every single second of it. Any moment that she could be with Alex like this was perfect, and all she could do was watch him with wide curious eyes before he pushed himself inside of her. She wanted to scream out his name and tell him exactly how good it felt, but instead she buried her face against his neck. She moaned out his name, finger nails digging into his back as he thrust into her perfectly. She couldn't even find the correct words, knowing that this needed to be quick and they didn't have a lot of time. He kissed her, and she couldn't help but moan against his mouth, her hips meeting his every single time. She bit on his bottom lip hard, distracting herself from how good it felt and how perfect his thrusts were. "You feel so good," Autumn managed, her voice hoarse and thick with want. Her fingers thread in his hair, tugging at the hair as his fast pace continued, just needing him close.
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
To Alexander, it was difficult to maintain a steady rhythm - it was sloppy and rough, their hips meeting halfway as they both tried to find the perfect angle, which wasn't hard. They'd always had great sexual chemistry once Autumn had let go of her inhibitions. When she was lost in the moment, deep in the thralls of euphoria and pleasure, she was more bold and often told him exactly what she wanted. Even after all the time that they'd lost, they were still a perfect match both between the sheets and out. They knew each other's bodies, knew what felt good to them both, knew what the other needed to hear to drive them mad. Tonight wasn't any different. They were both doing things to drive the other crazy, keeping their moans and pleads quiet as they continued to meet each other halfway. Even though he was sure he'd ripped her dress, he'd roughly pulled it down by her chest, needing to elicit a moan from her as he flicked his tongue on her nipple. He was teetering on the edge, but wasn't there yet, his lips finding as much of her skin as he could and marking her as his all over. He could feel her hands on his hair or shoulders, her breath against his ear; she was leaving her mark on him as well and he knew he would feel the effects of her attempts at keeping quiet well into their trip. "Bite me" he whispered, his forehead against her collarbone, their sweat mingling together as they continued their pace, "scratch me. I don't care. Do what you want to me."
AUTUMN ROSE
"I love you," Autumn whispered in the middle of the thrusting and groaning, feeling closer to him than ever. No matter how rushed this was, she felt a strong connection to him in every sense of the word. It was as if her skin was on fire wherever he touched her, leaving his mark as he nibbled on her skin when it felt too damn good. Autumn did everything in her willpower to bring him closer -- wrapping her legs around him as tight as possible, tugging his hair, thrusting her hips up to meet his every single time -- and it never felt like enough. She kept teetering on the edge of bliss but held off, wanting to finish at the exact same time that Alex did. This was dirty and beautiful all at the same time, and when Alex had told Autumn to bite him, she couldn't help but oblige. She tugged his head down roughly, nibbling on his earlobe before sinking her teeth into the crook of her neck, her moans being muffled by his skin. It felt as if her legs were shaking, but she didn't care. All she wanted was to get right on the edge with Alex, riding it out with him. She dragged her fingernails down his back, and even though his clothes were still on, she knew that she was making a mark and she was more than happy to do so. A few more painstakingly perfect thrusts, and Autumn felt like a goner, and she moaned much louder than she meant to. "I'm.. I'm close. I want you to come with me, baby, please.." Autumn was panting, lips red and swollen as she looked up at him, cupping his face in her palm. "Come with me, Alex."
ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY
Perhaps Alexander didn't know what life would bring him in the future, and he wasn't sure he even wanted to know what was ahead and instead wanted to face it head on whenever it happened. But when Autumn told him she loved him, even in the middle of raunchy, filthy sex, he knew that that was something - perhaps the one thing - he really wanted. For the longest time, he'd believed that baseball was his first love, but Autumn was his true love. "I love you too, baby girl" he whispered against her lips, knowing that they were both close and loving the fact that they were connected even then. While he knew that Autumn needed a little push, he enjoyed that she took his advice and started biting him, scratching him, leaving marks all over him for him to remember her later. He didn't care if they were visible and didn't care if the guys would see and give him grief for it for the rest of camp. As they both almost reached their peak, Alexander and Autumn had almost forgotten that they were supposed to be quiet. They groaned loudly, Alexander even more so when she was begging for him to come for her, blue eyes pleading for them to both come undone together. He nodded, whispering that he loved her before he finally let go, looking into her eyes as he did so. It was intimate - a lot more intimate than fucking in their dress clothes should've been - but it was them. They'd always been connected. Again, he told her that he loved her, kissing her softly as he came down from his high.
AUTUMN ROSE
Even in the midst of raunchy sex like this, things with Autumn and Alex had felt intense. She kept her eyes trained on him as they came undone together, muttering that she loved him over and over again. She rode out the orgasm happily, kissing all over his cheek and down to his neck. Autumn felt the buzzing all over her body, loving the way he felt inside of her even afterwards. She stared up at him, chest heaving, not being able really say anything. She was completely speechless. As she finally felt the last bit of her intense orgasm, she fell back against the bed and let out a happy chuckle. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d felt something like that, and of course it was all thanks to Alex. She kissed him back sloppily, feeling out of it and drunk on the way she felt with him on top of her. She pressed her forehead against Alex’s, listening his labored breaths as well. “That was..” Autumn started, still not completely there. “Wow.”

AUTUMN: wasn't exactly sure what she was doing showing up at Alex's place uninvited - but there she was anyway. She was standing outside his door, shivering due to the cold and talking herself into actually knocking at the door. It was the day after Christmas and Riley was spending it with Millie as she played with all of her new toys. Since the moment she awoke, Autumn found herself only thinking of Alex. As much as she wanted to hate him, it was the holidays and she found herself wanting to spend time with him. After finding out his address from Summer, she grabbed two coffees (remembering his order perfectly, of course) and made her way to his place. Finally getting the courage to knock on the door, Autumn did and called out, "Hey! It's just me. Let me in, please. I'm cold and I have coffee for you."
