Il CT8 LR è probabilmente il diffusore da incasso per home theatre più tecnologicamente avanzato oggi disponibile al mondo. Nel cuore di questo sottile diffusore per canale frontale a tre vie, ritroviamo la tecnologia attinta direttamente dalla acclamata serie 800: una coppia di woofer in Rohacell, un midrange FTS™ in Kevlar® intrecciato e un tweeter con cupola metallica. L'integrazione dei componenti è semi attiva con il crossover attivo/equalizzatore del CT8 XO. Le unità midrange e tweeter del sistema CT8 LR sono integrate in una struttura sferica ultra rigida con tecnologia di caricamento a condotto Nautilus, per garantire la massima compattezza. Il sistema è orientabile per un allineamento perfetto con la zona di ascolto. La struttura principale in cui sono alloggiati i woofer è realizzata in Matrix™ dalle straordinarie prestazioni, in grado di riprodurre fedelmente dinamiche con bassi fino a 23 Hz, sfociando quasi nella gamma di competenza del subwoofer.
