I’ve always loved D&D and other role play games but when I got invited to a women exclusive game I was both honored and confused. I didn’t complain when I was told I’d be playing a fairy because I assumed it was a Feywild campaign of some kind. All my questions were answered when I awoke shrunk on the center of the table as the women around me shifted.

One grew large muscles as her skin shifted green and tusks poked out from under her lips, as the muscles forced there way out she began sweating profusely, the salty smell nearly overwhelming me as the orc considered how best to exercise with me. Another became taller, her ears pointed and her whole body seemed to be covered in glitter as a low cut shining dress had formed, jewelry galore as she seemed to examine it all wondering what I’d go with best. Next one of the other player’s head split open as horns came through as her skin became redder and redder, leathers covering her body and a forked tail seductively whipped about behind her, her infernal eyes only showed an eternity with me wrapped around her finger or anywhere else she wanted. Most terrifying of all was the DM who only continued to grow larger and larger, her skin turned blue until she practically filled her corner of the room as (from my perspective) a gargantuan frost giant queen, completely in charge in my fate within any of the hands around me.

Before I could even attempt to fly my wings were bound in thread and the rest of my limbs held down in small leather straps they had ready for me. I didn’t know what this game was going on but now it seems like the point is for me to entertain the various needs of the enchanting giantesses around me and hope they want to keep me around for the next session.

Norsery Rhymes from A to Z Fassolt, Of the Thuderstorms Well here we are on another ThorsDay with another 20 min sketch of a Norse (and Germanic, sometimes Celtic) mythological characters.  This week it’s a thrid and final version of Fasolt / Fasult / Fasold / Vasolt  of the Jotnar (Jötunn / Jotun / Jotunn / Jetten / Eoten / Frost Giant  mentioned in the the Thidrekssaga, and Eckenlied, but most notably in Wagner’s Das Reingold.

Fasolt, possibly from the Old Norse “faso” meaning ‘long braids’, is also translated to mean ‘killed by Fafnir’.

Fasolt is a frost giant and brother of Ecke and Fafnir. He is called on as the ‘Master of the Thunderstorm’ in charms of protection from the wind and lightning of storms.

Occasionally associated with Kari the Giant of the winds.

Fasolt and Fafnir had been contracted by the gods to build the castle of Valhalla for them. All for the price of large amounts of gold, and the hand of Freia (Freya and Idun) in marriage for Fasolt, and an endless supply of her golden apples of youth for Fafnir. 

However on completion Odin refuses to give them Freia. Fasolt while building the castle has fallen in love with Freia and can’t bear to be without her, and Fafnir wants her golden apples. They plot and kidnap her.  But in the end accept a hoard of gold from Odin. Fasolt after seeing Freia does not love him back and not wishing her to be harmed begs and convinces Fafnir to accept this new offer. The hoard had previously belonged to the Dwarf Albrecht, which has amongst it a cursed ring and gold, that drives those to greed and violence to possess it. 

Soon after getting the treasure it drives Fafnir mad and in his greed he kills Fasolt for the ring and treasure.

Frost Giant Dream likes eating ice. It doesn’t give him energy like food gives energy to humans, frost giants don’t have digestive system like humans. Eating ice though gives him ability to create ice with his hands, it can be used as a weapon but he also uses it to make ice sculptures. He isn’t the best at it and his sculptures aren’t as pretty as some of other frost giants sculptures but he still enjoys it. When he meets George he tries to make an ice sculpture of him but gets incredibly frustrated when he can’t capture his beauty because his ice sculpture skills aren’t that good

Snow fell outside, glamorous and volatile —quite like himself— while the Avengers prepared the compound for the celebrations. Loki just kept on looking out the window without moving a finger, mesmerized with the light weight of the snowflakes, so unlike rain…

“So, is Rock of Ages not going to help at all?”, said Tony, setting up holographic illusions of colorful candles everywhere. Loki didn’t glue his eyes off the storm. Tony sighed and walked up to him, sitting by his side. Loki’s eyes glimmered with fascination. “You’ve never seen snow before?”.

“Once or twice, back in my true realm”, he admitted with bitterness, “but I didn’t have the time nor the energy to stop and admire it. And Asgard is too sunny, all the time”.

Tony nodded.

“Well”, he said, directing the attention of the entire room to him. “I say we play in the snow. The decorations can wait. What do you think?”.

He didn’t need to think twice. As soon as they left the building, he saw a big patch of snow and threw himself on it like a child. He laughed —surprising every single member of the Avengers; he didn’t even smile those days— and laid there with no greed for anything else in his life.

Well, except maybe one thing, he thought as he turned around to see you, doing the exact same thing he did. He composed himself, or tried to, and began talking to you as he could —it had been a while since he last spoke to someone that didn’t want him in a prison cell, as far as he knew of you.

There are few moments in his life he can remember in great detail after thousands of years. That first evening with you was one of them.

Well aware of the effect you had on him, he decided he wanted —actually, he had to keep you around. As soon as you turned around and said something among the lines of going back to work, he grabbed your wrist quickly and blurted out some words —hopefully in the right order— like;

“Let’s have dinner”.

You blinked in surprise and smiled and you had some snow on your hair and eyelashes and a redness all over your face and he, oh Gods, he definitely fell. He fell so hard.
