The compulsive urge to answer them all:
1. Wine glasses
2. Both
3. Cotton candy
4. I don’t know and I don’t want to know
5. Cans
6. Grunge/formal combo? Idk I like dress shirts with jeans and a leather jacket and sometimes a waistcoat
7. Earbuds
8. Tv shows
9. I’ve never considered this and its now winter so that’s hard but I do like the ocean
10. Badminton
11. Porridge in winter and weetbix bites or something similar in summer
12. The new of old
13. Lanyard. I think? That’s a hard one
14. Liquorice
15. Holes
16. Curled up sideways on my couch
17. Green converse
18. Cool breeze, warm sun. Like 20 degrees
19. On my stomach, hands under my thighs
20. A4 scrap paper. Preferably graph
21. The babysitters club
22. Mum
23. I have this stim where I wriggle my toes in patterns? I don’t know if that counts though
24. Amethyst
25. Summer of ‘69 - Bryan Adams
26. Read outside in the sun
27. Read inside with hot chocolate and a blanket
28. Accidentally in Love - Dirty Loops, The Jazz Police - Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, Soft - Motionless In White, Brainwash Broadcast - Dragged Under, Seagulls! (Stop It Now) - Bad Lip Reading
29. Non-romance book discussion, or YA romance books (I enjoy romance but sometimes the community is weird) (also fanfic romance is fine)
30. My church, but also like this one room in my high school music building. We thought it was haunted
31. Blue skinny jeans, black singlet, red and blue flannel shirt, beanie
32. I missed that entire thing somehow. I don’t even think I know five. I can’t think of any right now
33. Ok thanks.
34. “It’s BCF-ing fun!” Right now at least anyway
35. 10pm
36.
37. Duffel bag
38. Tea
39. Lemon cake
40. A pigeon killed itself flying into a window in primary school, and landed on some kid’s bag
41. Father dearest
42. PANTS!!!
43. Leather jacket
44. I don’t like scented soap. It’s best if it smells like nothing
45. DON’T MAKE ME PICK! I love sci fi, but it gets a little close to action sometimes, and fantasy is great but only kids and YA. But not superhero
46. Trackies and no shirt
47. Tasty. Because I’m a basic bitch
48. A tomato. Controversial if I’m actually a fruit (person), mixed feelings about the best way to eat me (deal with me), I’m red (blush easily), and I’m tough on the outside but soft on the inside
49. It’s not really one, but at the moment I’m living by the knowledge that I’m preparing myself for a life where I’ll never see most of the people I do now, so who cares what they think.
50. The realisation that one of my teachers looks just like Pete from Mickey Mouse
51. Finishing my goddamn assignments on time
52. I don’t have one really, but times new Roman is cool
53. As in ones on top on my phone and the other’s behind it? Or they’re kinda soft and my nails are a decent length.
54. Haven’t had one yet
55. The original Cinderella
56. Putting up the Christmas tree as a family while watching the pageant
57. My parent’s separation, learning that there will always be someone who disagrees with me, and learning that I am actually allowed to do what I want with my life and no my friends can’t stop me
58. Maths, music, science and cooking
59. I don’t know what it even could be. My life is fanfiction, school and dystopian novels. I’ve got no clue what my options are. But as a general catchphrase, I use “greetings” like “hello there”
60. THERE’S DIFFERENT KINDS OF ANIME? Why am I doing this list. Uh, idk studio Ghibli seems cool I guess?
61. “It is not titles that honor men, but men that honor titles” - Machiavelli. I know he’s got a bad reputation but he’s got some good points. A lot of his philosophy surrounds ruling a country, and as I have no interest in leadership, I don’t see the harm. I also find politics fascinating, so his work is really interesting.
62. Sheldon Cooper, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, Winston Smith, Michelle Jones, Clint Barton, Sophie Sheridan. I need to get into more fandoms
63. The Fastest Way to a Girls Heart is Through Her Ribcage - Ice Nine Kills, Famous Last Words- MCR, The Hobbit Meets Metal - ERock (don’t judge it until you’ve heard it), Thriller - Ice Nine Kills, Mercy - Bad Omens
64. Cool Maths Games
65. On my right knee. I tripped over a trampoline when I was seven, landed on a hanging pot that was sitting on the ground, and cut it to the bone.
66. Baby’s breath
67. Closest thing is a locket from my Oma with a picture of my deceased Grandpa and dog. I wear it everywhere, always.
68. I had a meatball panini the other day. It tasted like somebody combined pesto, garlic bread and spaghetti and meatballs, but somehow was bad.
69. Wombat poop is square
70. Right handed
71. Mermaid scales
72. PE
73. Fish Fingers and custard, or chocolate topping in Mac and Cheese.
74. 7-8
75. Halfway through reception, probably just before I turned 6
76. Gnocchi. I’m not a big fan of potato because I don’t like the starchy texture, but gnocchi is really just pasta made of potato
77. Plastic ones. I’ll kill the real ones
78. Sushi from a grocery store.
79. My drivers license, but only because I had a shitty haircut right before my last school photo
80. Today, jewel. Yesterday, earth.
81. What the fuck are lightning bugs. I’ve never even seen fireflies. But glow worms are pretty cool.
82. PC. A less brutal argument and easier decision
83. I like writing non fiction for school and stuff like essays, but creative wise, drawing.
84. Podcasts
85. Mythology
86. Cookies
87. Losing everything and everyone I care about in a fire, and burning myself in an attempt to save them.
88. To move to Switzerland and work at CERN. I want to work in quantum physics, and I love Switzerland anyway. It’s a beautiful country.
89. Myself. It’s taken a while to get there, but I’ve learned that I’m the most important person in my life. Otherwise my mum is a pretty close second. I love her so much.
90. I guess I went to a shit school academically and struggled to get the education I needed, but that gave me bonus credit to boost my ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) score
91. Boxes?
92. Overhead or fairy, depends on how much light I need
93. MoMo, MooMoo, Soup
94. Autumn
95. Probably tumblr actually because ao3 doesn’t have an app
96. It changes between lots of different clone wars and rebels screenshots and posters
97. 4. Mine, my mum’s, my dad’s, and my dad’s house phone
98. Probably early to mid 1900’s. I know it’s modern history but I find the world wars interesting.
I think I misinterpreted the point of this but oh well
weird asks that say a lot

Prisoner Exchange. Bypassing YouTube Slowdown in Russia. Get Involved in Our Activities.
You are watching the news from the weekly rally at the Russian Embassy in Lisbon. Today is August 31, 2:30 PM.
On August 27, during the forum "Ukraine 2024. Independence," Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi announced that 594 Russian Armed Forces servicemen had been captured in the Kursk region at that time. https://www.bbc.com/russian/articles/c23lej1nykko
On August 24, a prisoner exchange took place between Russia and Ukraine, with 115 individuals exchanged on each side. The BBC Russian Service reported that many of the released Ukrainian prisoners of war have health issues due to injuries and poor detention conditions. https://www.bbc.com/russian/articles/cj9l72w2vzeo
On August 25, the Unified Center for Searching for Russian Army Servicemen in Ukraine "I Want to Find" showcased how prisoners of war from the Kursk region are being treated: clean, well-fed, with smiling faces. Russia has no such center. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNiIy9GR5ts
On August 30, on the YouTube channel "I Gryanul Grem," Alexey Anulya, a private in the Ukrainian Armed Forces who was held in Russian captivity, shared horrific details of his imprisonment. https://youtu.be/igr4HWAV8Hc?feature=shared
On August 23, during a live broadcast of "The Breakfast Show," Ivan Chuvilyaev, a representative of the "Go by the Forest" initiative, once again advised Russian conscripts to "stand up for their rights," not sign contracts, and desert. https://www.youtube.com/live/qe76ODpGSzY?t=2114s
The "Committee-2024" association is holding an international rally today in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We join in, thank Portugal for the military assistance it provides to Ukraine, and ask that it continues to increase its support. https://fb.me/e/3ZxTa1Zod
On September 3, Putin is scheduled to visit Mongolia, which has signed the Rome Statute. We call for the arrest of this war criminal. https://www.dw.com/ru/kreml-putin-ne-boitsa-aresta-v-mongolii-po-orderu-mus/a-70093225
On August 22, Novaya Gazeta reported that, according to a report on the availability of Google services and data, YouTube traffic from Russia has fallen by 35% over the past month. The sharp decline occurred on August 8, coinciding with the start of the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region on August 6. https://novayagazeta.ru/articles/2024/08/22/trafik-videokhostinga-youtube-v-rossii-posle-nachala-zamedleniia-prosel-na-35-dannye-google-news
The Dozhd TV channel has released a free extension called "Potok" for the Chrome browser, which allows users to bypass the YouTube slowdown in Russia. https://x.com/tvrain/status/1829135290117623824
Cyber lawyer Sarkis Darbinyan, in a comment to a "Deutsche Welle" article, advised purchasing VPN services, as free VPNs cannot handle the volume of traffic needed for everyone to watch YouTube. https://www.dw.com/ru/rossiane-teraut-dostup-k-youtube/a-69905472
Maikl Naki has launched his own VPN service called nVPN. https://t.me/Nackepelo/6380
The support team for "The Breakfast Show" channel has developed apps for Android and iOS, where you can listen to the programs of this channel, as well as over 20 other channels: from Vladimir Milov to Valery Solovey. https://radio.antidot-media.com/
And finally, a message to you, dear viewers. This is not an entertainment channel, and we do not work for grants. We invest our time and money to help develop civil society and fight Putinism because we care. Your participation is essential. If you are in Lisbon, please find time at least once a month to come to our weekly rally. And please support the fundraising to return Ukrainian children; this link was created by the foundation at our request, and all donations go directly to the Orphans Feeding Foundation. https://www.every.org/orphans-feeding-foundation/f/help-us-return-the-deported
The common cause is achieved together.

Sound design workshop - Activities
29/08/2024
Hi everyone! This is a quick little update on the activities we did for the sound design workshop!
The first activity started off with us watching the opening scenes to Dunkirk and Zootipia. After watching those clips, we had to list down all the foley audio we heard.
[ To be honest, there was so much going on with the sounds I couldn't even write down half of the stuff I noticed. ]
The second and final activity for this workshop was to choose 1 out of the 2 muted movie clips and add in our own audio onto it! We were shown a clip from 'I am legend' and from one of the 'Ice Age' movies.
Ayodya, Thameena, Shiza, and I decided to go with the 'I am Legend' clip. It was the perfect choice for us since there was hardly any dialog. It was all to do with foley sounds.
Unfortunately, we came across quite a lot of technical issues when setting up the mic and speakers on Ayodya's laptop. Till everything was sorted out thanks to Chaminda's help, we decided to re-watch the clip and figured out the sounds we needed to include.
This is the list we made for the audio recordings :-
1. Car door : bathroom door
2. Cloth bag and big paper bag
3. Bottle swish it a bit
4. Closes door : bathroom door
5. Walking up the stairs : Footsteps, dog, bottle swish, water splash, carrying the bag
6. Keeps box on the ground
7. Opens the door, keeps splashing
8. Picks up bag (paper bag)
9. Keeps splashing, closes door
Next scene
10. Maria's Studio (TOT ???) for the radio humming
11. Footsteps, opens cabinet door
12. Grabs jar
13. Puts a different jar back and closes cupboard.
14. TV news : Voice acting (decrease increase vol)
15. Footsteps
16. Closes the door
17. Closes another door
18. Footsteps + opens jar lid
19. Keeps jar on the table
20. Doggy footsteps, doggy breathing
21. Cutlery sounds - plastic bottle, spoons
22. Sauce on the plate - slime
23. Clanking noises
24. Apron - rain cover
25. Subtle dog noises - more prominent
26. Hangs the apron
27. Lifts plate and footsteps to the fridge
28. Open fridge, grab bottle (pistachio jar), close fridge
29. FOOTSTEPS AGAIN
30. Keeps jar on table - pistachio jar
31. Keep dogs plate on floor
32. Dog sniffs, pull chair back
33. Sits and pulls chair back
34. Cutlery sounds + chew
Recording work in progress photos!
Props used :-
We used quite alot of items for props actually. Off the top of my head, I remember using a bag, water bottle, slime, wooden boards, a jar, mug, a sponge, etc. to capture most of the sounds. We also had to make our own sounds using our voices for some of the audio like the dog's panting, dog creaking (still embarrassed with the sound I made TOT ), wind and chirping in the background, and the special broadcast.
Final clip :-
Overall, this was such a fun workshop! I definitely embarrassed myself while trying to create audio with my voice, but at least we got some good laughs out of it!
This workshop also taught me how much importance is given to sound in films. It's actually crazy how we don't even think much of the audio we hear in the movies, even though so much consideration as gone into them. This has in a way opened my eyes to appreciate the effort put into sound design in films!
That's all for this post! Thank you so much for reading! Have a great day :D

The group’s success story begins from ‘BOYS PLANET’, where out of 98 contestants, only the top nine with the highest number of votes could win the chance to debut as a new boy group. The nine members who came out on top are: SUNG HAN BIN, KIM JI WOONG, ZHANG HAO, SEOK MATTHEW, KIM TAE RAE, RICKY, KIM GYU VIN, PARK GUN WOOK, HAN YU JIN.

It amassed over 1 million in album sales on the first day of its release, and ranked first on multiple South Korean and Japanese music charts. Additionally, the title track “Feel the POP” (2024) earned the group three music show wins on major South Korean TV broadcast channels.

The Ledge #625: Second Quarter Recap
Besides the monthly new release episodes, another regular feature of this show is the "quarterly recap", where I play tracks from the best albums released over the last three months. This month features a wide variety of rock, punk, power pop, Americana, and a few other sub-genres. Everybody should be able to find a new favorite record in this expanded episode.
Before we get to the highlights of the quarter, though, I've got a tribute to arguably the greatest rock and roller my state has ever produced. Myron Lee, the leader of Myron Lee & The Caddies, passed away just days before his 83rd birthday. Along with airing a handful of his late 50s/early 60s hits, I come clean about the simple fact that for the longest time I was completely unaware of his true rockin' sound. In fact, it was due to an appearance on another Real Punk Radio broadcast that I finally understood that rockabilly and punk fanatics have been collecting his singles for decades! RIP Myron!
Also, please head to YouTube and subscribe to our channel - Public Domain Classics 888. We have close to 300 classic films from over 110 years of releases!
