I'm glad I'm not the only one, froads has literally become so uncomfortable that you can't even look at their group, but people are afraid to talk about it because everyone knows how the mods behave. Being passive aggressive towards members has become the norm at this point, and they are only friendly to people they know. The leak has been going on for a long time, so most members know their bullshit. And on top of that the staff member who reported private issues to the mods even talked about it with other members in dm.

I would encourage people to talk about it even here, I know that some members have been manipulated by some staff and it would be great if at least here it would surface. I know that many people wrote a complaint about the choice of helpers to the owner, and they lied to them that “no one has complained about them for a long time.”, guess what, people talk to each other and know that this isn't true.

And about staff leaving. A normal person, seeing most of their staff leaving, would think something is wrong. But probably not here. And if you think people won't notice that all your artists have also left just because you didn't announce it, you're also dumb as a rock.

agreed with the froad vent. I spend some time in this species and it's really not as fun at it was at the start. But for me community feel kind of fake. It feels like people there are mostly for attention and selling their stuff. I lately moved to different smaller species and i felt like i could talk with normal people for the first time in past few years. And some users there are... weird? i felt really uncomfortable when one user almost started talking about "not sfw toys" gladly an admin stopped them but it felt weird to start talking about it on general. It's a shame because people spend a lot of time and effort in this species, money too and its just empty shell of what it wanted to be. It started with an idea and now feels like any generic chimereon like species with the same systems.

[ froads ] I absolutely adore this species, but after a situation that happened regarding a oc I own, I feel weirded out, as if I don’t feel comfortable in a way

I love the community but I feel like my art and characters gets ignored all the time. But I always give compliments to people art and designs because they deserve a comment for their hard-work but when it comes to me I barley get any

Idk if it’s just me in a way or I feel like I’m getting unhealthy thoughts/thinking about the species/discord like I’m too deep into it and seek validation for my hardwork? I don’t think that’s healthy in any way

maybe I should step back from them to ease my mind because I don’t think it’s good and don’t want to dig a rabbit hole for myself

It’s always good to step back and evaluate if you’re thinking something is off, but it’s also completely understandable to feel bummed if you aren’t getting as much attention as others. Maybe try sharing your art in other places too, with friends or in other non CS art spaces?
