[ froads ] I absolutely adore this species, but after a situation that happened regarding a oc I own, I feel weirded out, as if I don’t feel comfortable in a way

I love the community but I feel like my art and characters gets ignored all the time. But I always give compliments to people art and designs because they deserve a comment for their hard-work but when it comes to me I barley get any

Idk if it’s just me in a way or I feel like I’m getting unhealthy thoughts/thinking about the species/discord like I’m too deep into it and seek validation for my hardwork? I don’t think that’s healthy in any way

maybe I should step back from them to ease my mind because I don’t think it’s good and don’t want to dig a rabbit hole for myself

It’s always good to step back and evaluate if you’re thinking something is off, but it’s also completely understandable to feel bummed if you aren’t getting as much attention as others. Maybe try sharing your art in other places too, with friends or in other non CS art spaces?

(Froads/Retrokaiju) the pedophile was banned I think, I can't see them in the discord server, may they lose their ENTIRE platform as well. There is no room for groomers in these spaces.

agreed with the froad vent. I spend some time in this species and it's really not as fun at it was at the start. But for me community feel kind of fake. It feels like people there are mostly for attention and selling their stuff. I lately moved to different smaller species and i felt like i could talk with normal people for the first time in past few years. And some users there are... weird? i felt really uncomfortable when one user almost started talking about "not sfw toys" gladly an admin stopped them but it felt weird to start talking about it on general. It's a shame because people spend a lot of time and effort in this species, money too and its just empty shell of what it wanted to be. It started with an idea and now feels like any generic chimereon like species with the same systems.

[ Froads ] saw a vent about this species, honestly I love this little species so much, the community are so welcoming and easy to get into, however lately it’s been too barren and they haven’t done a celebration anniversary for the species expect items giveaway which is…. Nothing much?, I feel like at this point they’re being forced and it’s honestly upsetting, I haven’t seen any big events this year, I was hoping they would do a MYO event since last few years I’ve seen them do every Myo event every year, hopefully I can be wrong

i really want to see more because they’re a fun reptilian like species! It’s just kinda sad that they’re getting inactive now in my opinion :/ I wish they can get more GA’s or admins to hopefully boost up their activity

I honestly enjoy froads because they have a very welcoming community but I’m honestly getting burnt out? every month I have to like draw gift art, featured froad and the shard prompt

it just feels like a chore and I’m getting really burnt out with the species so I decided to like, take a break from them for now as I really miss doing my own personal stuff a lot

I really wish they would do more fun events, in June I think they did the mermay event which had like 6 art prompts you can do and ngl, the prizes were kinda underwhelming? Like the premades were all made by one admin, expect one, I thought it would be like a “big” event of some sort but it’s just art grinding

I would love to see a myo event or something of that sort like they did a few years ago, to make more people join the species!!! They deserve more support, the discord feels really quiet most of the time and the trading scene is just really quiet because of how small the community is
