Suletta looked in the distance, surprised to see the large mech fighting. What in the world was that? Was...fighting this monster something that's normal for them? It wasn't a mobile suit so she never seen anything like it before.

"I-It's okay to just fight something that big?? Will it be o-okay?!"

He sounded like he had confidence in them so maybe that meant she should too.

"I'm, uh...Suletta Mercury. P-Pleasure to meet you! And her name is A-Aerial. This is all n-normal for you?"

Atieno takes a moment to sit down besides Gentaro. It has honestly been too long since they had last seen him, and the entity genuinely has come to miss him.

"Hey there. Been a little while. I hope.. I'm not stopping by at a bad time for you."

Gentaro gives his favorite wolf a custom-made jean jacket with the words "World's Best Mom" on the back.

"Aww is this for my mom, because I still have a little ways to go before I can say this about myself. But really, thank you Gen-kun."

"I think a visit to the Sunamachi Ginza would be nice." Oh, the rice cooker's beeping. She turns to turn the little alarm off before returning to Gentaro's omelette. "It's been a while since we just got to take a walk and try street food. I feel like I find a new recipe to try at home every time we do."

Flip! Listen to that sizzle. "Or we could do something a bit quieter, like a picnic. Didn't you have that list of places for couples that Mom was trying to give you without me noticing?" She smiles a bit. "Which I did, by the way."

most girls loved chocolate & the proud rei was no different, despite her claims otherwise. wealthy preferences readily apparent as her interest was piqued at the sight of the rare chocolates, in a fancy box & nice ribbon. wait — this was strange. it wasn't white day. nor did she even give out any chocolates. & here was gentaro-san, giving them to her without an inkling of concern or nervousness. well, this was unprecedented. she took the box slowly, holding it close ( fighting the urge to open it in front of him & taste each & every morsel ) ... ❝ thank you ... very much. you really didn't have to do this, you know?❞

she'd always be suspicious of ulterior motives but for now, rei would accept this graciously.

"Happy Birthday, Hime." Gentaro offers her a small snowglobe that has the embassy inside it, with tiny figurines of Hime and her team on the lawn. "I also got you some more of that space chocolate." He hands over a pound of chocolates from offworld. "Enjoy!"

The snowglobe was cute but what really caught Hime's attention was on the candy. Free food was good no matter where it came from!

"Thank you for your generous contribution, Kisaragi-san!"

Right, the day was supposed to start with her meeting the others, but everything turned over due to that guy showing up. Suletta let out a small chuckle when he spoke to Aerial, saying to make sure she was safe.

"Aerial will protect me, and I'll protect her for sure." Though she soon focused on the memory stick he gave her, Suletta giving him a nod.

"Ah, th-thank you! I'll definitely look it over!"

If she could learn to get better, especially given the new threats around here, she would take it with appreciation.

"You have a great day too! Thank you so much for everything today!"

"Next time we meet, I'll keep my promise and we can get you to meet those other pilots." Gentaro takes them back to the hangar. "And if any of your friends want to come along, I'll be happy to have the company." He points up at Aerial. "Keep her safe. Don't let anyone who talks about 'Unleashing darkness' get within ten feet of her, ok?" He's about to leave but turns for one last thing. "Oh, I've got this for you, Suletta." He hands her a memory stick. "This thing has fight footage from some of my friends and allies who pilot mecha. Maybe you can study it and get even better than you already are. Have a good day, Suletta!"

Gentaro looks up at Aerial with an appreciative smile. "Wow. She's really beautiful. How do you pilot her? Is it a standard seated cockpit layout, or do you have a motion rig to translate your movements into hers?"

"Ah, she...I-I go in to pilot her so...a cockpit layout...!"

She's never heard of a motion rig before, was that something possible for others?

"She r-really...is amazing, ehe." The lights, panel and monitor within the cockpit were all so pretty too, but she couldn't exactly show that off either.

Although Atieno often found themself feeling strange.. and weird around certain kinds of 'heroic' personalities, Gentaro wasn't exactly one of them.

So when they had the chance to visit him, to see him in the midst of his own land, his own environment - they were actually glad for the chance to just be around him.

"It's been pretty nice to see you again. I know you've had to be busy with all the activity that you've been involved with..."

"Now that's no fun Gentaro, it ruins the surprise of giving you a gift." Saya said hopping down from the tree she was in. "So how were you able to get the feeling I was there?"
