just a lil thought I wanted to share: I imagine 2012 donnie looks rather similar to Rise Leo when in rise's style, just based off the similar face shape and body lanky-ness.

So imagine if somehow, 2012 Donnie gets trapped in the prison dimension. Like, maybe april is reassembling Donnie from the power inside her episode at the same time that Rise Mikey is closing the portal to the prison dimension, and he kind of gets flip-flopped in space, idk :T

Hes all "what? Huh? When?" And tries to find a way out, but there IS no way out. And he's trapped with a very angry looking Krang.

How do you think Krang Prime would react to this sort off Leo-shaped, confuzzled fellow?

I unintentionally left open a door between Rise&2012 and I would be remiss to ignore such a treat. Here I thought insane excuses to put Donnie in a world of pain and agony was just how my brain works <3

I think that we should consider the fact that Za-Naron is an all-powerful demon alien creature. So what if instead of merely erasing him, she decided to put him somewhere that no one could ever reach him? A dimension from where things are known never to return? A place where April could never get him back without her assistance?

Well. I think Krang Prime would be absolutely confuzzled by his arrival. But then thoroughly ticked off for obvious reasons.

Not Donnie being resurrected for five minutes in some random goth space area that apparently has air (??) only to save a half-dead Leon from a deadly beating only to get it himself because Krang Prime will not allow anyone to come between his vengeance but HECK NAH is Donnie going to stand by and let this kid be beaten to death.

Yk those fanfics where Leon is actually in there for weeks before his brothers portal him out because time difference?

this scene?? the way ray moves from scared and angry and guarded to resigned to hearbroken to shattered and furious and hysterical; the way you can see every time his anger comes up how much hurt is behind it...the way khaotung played this!! the way you can tell that even though ray knows rationally what happened with sand and his dad he still hasn't fully accepted it until he realizes sand's not going to deny it

I'm far from the first to say this but I really think very few actors could manage to make ray as sympathetic a character as khaotung has. and it's because you can see how fragile and pathetic and hopeful ray is under all that lashing out. he's been crushed so many times and he expects it entirely; he expects that everyone around him including he himself will keep letting him down and hurting him, and there's still some part of him that's surprised every time the hammer lands. and he hates that about himself, and he has no good coping mechanisms for this entire paradigm. and khaotung is doing all this characterization like. almost entirely via minute facial acting choices.

I was honestly so relieved when I realized this scene was coming this ep because it meant no more anticipating it; because it has been so patently obvious that it was going to be heartbreaking to watch ray hurl horrible things at a crushed sand who has done nothing but try to be good to him. and don't get me wrong! it was!!

but like so many of their scenes it had that perfectly twisted fate feeling to it. the narrative and the production manage to validate both ray and sand's perspectives here, to victimize and villainize them each in turn. of course ray feels heartbroken and betrayed by what's happened; his trust is so shaky and so broken here. of course sand doesn't deserve what ray is saying and doing to him, even if he had a part in breaking that trust. of course they must see their way through to letting themselves believe the other cares for them the way we know they both do

a moment of praise for first who also absolutely killed this scene, especially in managing to make sand's quiet devastation match the magnetism of ray's volatility, and the release of tension after ray left and he slid down the lockers feel inevitable and brutal and so real

I am being mesmerized by the gif of Chuu shmooving and I gotte ask, has she ever injured herself while doing that beyond emberrassing falls?

She’s not had any such spectacular falls as to break any bones (fortunately!!) but she has sworn off ice skating forever after watching someone else beef it when she was lacing up…. They caught their face on not ice, but someone else’s blade, and split the chin+lip. Blood everywhere. (They’re ok of course! Healers are pretty good at closing up wounds, and it wasn’t that deep. Faces just happen to REALLY bleed when they bleed.)

Decided she’d stick to regular wheel-roller skating… uh- aside from that her worst fall was straight on her ass, rattled her teeth and bruised her tailbone u_u it took her a month before she wanted to skate again (for the Embarrassment! Talia SAW THE WHOLE THING….)

It’s one of her few exercises she enjoys though. Get around quick, without actually as much effort? And unlike a bike (she does not know how to ride but could be bothered to learn, given motivation) her hands are free uvu able to hold ice cream or boba tea or… yknow, whatever else drink.
