Cast Your Cares...

Too often we go to God in prayer only to walk away with the notion to attempt to “fix” things on our own. We ask God for answers, for help, but decide that we must “help” Him help us. We attempt to insert ourselves in every way possible to resolve the matter at hand, but without the answer, we sought from The Lord.

What is the point of going to God, seeking Him for guidance, answers, and support, if we are going to walk away leaning only on our self and our limited wisdom? Why spend time laying and crying out before The Lord, if we care not to hear and listen to the response, He has for us? Why walk around in trouble, despair, and turmoil, when we can cast our cares upon Him and receive what we need from Him to move us forward?

If He is going to listen to you and your heart’s cry about what troubles you, about what is keeping you up at night, then it is only right to Listen to that small still voice in the wind that comes to comfort you and provide you wisdom to carry on.

Take the time to pour your heart out to The Lord, but more importantly, take time to allow The Father to pour back into you. Let Him fill you with what you need to carry on…to move forward. There is no need to try to do life alone.

We look to leaders to lead by example…to be persons that set themselves apart, standing up for what is right, doing what is right, and doing those things we admire and aspire to do. When we understand who is on the team we understand how to utilize them. When you understand your role on the team you can better understand how to play your part and properly carry your weight rather than becoming overtasked overworked, weighed down, worn down and stressed out. Moving out of position and alignment is one of the primary factors causing people to lose faith in the process, thus giving up before seeing the finish line. Find your proper place in the circle. Years ago, when I decided to stop trying to ignore my call and not only accept it but openly admit my call to the ministry, one person I was led to also begin following and studying the works of  was  @apostlejohneckhardt That included being online for his midnight and early am prayer hours. Others would come along and introduce me to more books, including those I could only find on his site (for awhile).  Opportunities to go see him in person would come and God would send me out working and I would give tickets away or just tell others about the MOG encouraging them to go, learn, and get activated.  Recently, my brother began moving in greater obedience and dedication to serving and living life with God, met Apostle John Eckhart at church.  He purchased books for himself, but also took time to think about his big sister,  all the way in Arizona and got me a signed copy. The timing of receiving this is greater than you know and understand as this is the time God has promised that I am and shall live in a time where the harvest is great because of the work that was laid during the many years before. Thanks broham. You had no idea how God would use you to confirm His Word. This is what it means to walk in obedience.
