Adventures In Dating

I’m diving head first in gay dating at a late age.

The good news: a lot of people seem to like me.

The bad news: I still have that good old fashioned Christian guilt.

Guilt from a former life can really rattle you. Over the years I’ve been working through it but I believed for a long time homosexuality was wrong.

As all this is new to me there is the best news... it doesn’t feel wrong. With all the pressure I’ve put on myself to be what I believed to be pure I can safely and firmly say I was wrong in hating myself.

I use to believe the Bible was a tool to only judge yourself. But I was wrong. Don’t be so hard on your selves no matter what gauge of right/wrong you use. Be kind to yourself.

I’m no longer a Christian because I’m not good at it. But I just want to remind you babies to love your selves and each other.

It’s not hard. And it’ll probably save us all at the moment.

If anyone I know or anyone who sees this is struggling with the same things I’ve listed, I may not be able to help you to shake it but we can definitely talk about it.
