TIPS AND TRICKS FOR hEDS AND POTS
(Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome)
First some background, I am a college student living in a dorm. Had my symptoms since 16 and was officially diagnosed at 20. This is what works for me and my symptoms. I’m still learning more and more about POTS as it was kinda shoved under the rug for me.
- for low blood pressure have salty snacks. I personally hate flavored water and unflavored electrolyte water still tastes weird. I have a little snack corner with snacks and salt in case my blood pressure drops
- be a part of the disability program at your school!!! Even if you don’t need a specific accommodations join it. It helps the school and your teachers be aware. Since I’m part of my schools programs, if needed I get get a ride to my classes.
- TENS unit!!! This thing is my lifesaver when I have a dislocation. You can get some on amazon but depending on insurance, you can get one covered as well.
- eat more protein. Diet won’t cure anything but I find having more protein has really helped with my energy levels. I don’t eat much meat myself but chicken is always a good one. I also get Kodiak protein muffins (the double chocolate ones are good, rest are meh), fair life milk (more protein compared to most other brands), and fiber granola bars. I’ve found that fiber bars tend to have protein and vice versa.
- supplements!!! Most patients with EDS will have some vitamin deficiency. For me it’s B12 and D3 (which I find is most common) Talk to your doctor of course but supplements can help keep your body normalize better.
- mobility aids!!! Always talk to a doctor or physical therapist to ensure you are using them correctly but my cane really helps on certain days. Don’t go through insurance because you can easily get a nice cane for cheap online, insurance will only cover so much use it for bigger items like a wheelchair.
- fans. I’m always overheating, I keep my room cold and have a fan going most times. I just cover myself in blankets if I’m cold. Just easier for me personally.
- compression socks! I personally don’t like most compression items as they bother me but my ankles are really unstable. I got two compression sleeves at Walmart and they help me feel more stable walking. Sole inserts as well.
- If you have a high arch get some good hiking/running shoes, I love my Hokas. Sadly they can be expensive but there’s many cheaper options available! (I’m unsure what is best for those with flat feet)
-chronic fatigue, make a schedule that can account for naps if needed. I ended up taking sleep aids and it has really helped. But even just being able to have the luxury to take a nap if needed has really been helpful
THINGS I WISH I DID FOR COLLEGE
- ask about the dorms!!! I was under the assumption everything would have an elevator and my apartment on campus does not.
- if you use a shower seat, always ask which dorm has accessible showers.
- as stated earlier sign up with the disability services right away. It only helps with finding dorm housing.
- get a single room if you can! My medical equipment and pills takes up space and it’s much easier to keep it locked and secured when alone vs with a roommate.
Feel free to share more!! There’s always room to learn and discover new things

Picture a Mouthwashing swap AU where :
Jimmy is the captain/pilot.
Anya is the co-pilot.
Swansea is the nurse.
Daisuke is the mechanic.
Curly is the intern. (or the mechanic assistant, I'm not sure. Can a guy his age be an intern?)
In which they know little to nothing about their jobs.
And imagine the absolute CHAOS.
✼ •• ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ •• ✼
[Pre-crash]
Situation :
- Jimmy scolding Anya about how careless she is when she controls the ship. But he never controls it once, always using auto-pilot.
- Curly got a paper cut and asked Swansea to help. Curly's entire arm ended up being bandaged. Swansea said it's for "future injury".
- Anya has a big "how to pilot" book with her to read. Most of her time, she seems to be in her cockpit, reading it.
- Daisuke is absolutely irritated from Jimmy assuming he only got this job because his parents have connections, when he hit the books every single free time until graduate.
- Curly has a sock puppet (Pun intended) with him. He named it Yimpy and tried to light everyone's mood up. But ended up annoying them instead.
✼ •• ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ •• ✼
Their performances :
- As I've said. Jimmy never touched a button on the control panel, but Anya didn't want to confront him for the same reason in the game. He's very bossy to everyone, especially anyone younger than him (Anya and Daisuke). And has little to no respect for Swansea. He's still a friend of Curly. He's the one getting Curly in this position.
- Anya tried her best to be reliable. She has no time for board games at all, asking Curly to play for her (He always wins for her, too). She is pretty sure she won't get any money for this trip from how many risky moves she made with the ship. She gossips about Jimmy not doing his job at all to Daisuke, too. Then ended it with "But who are we to judge" after gossiping for 3 hours in the cockpit hallway.
- Daisuke runs on rage. He won't admit that he lacks experience and only knows things from the textbook. Always activated emergency foam when trying to fix something. Tears up in anger every time Curly has to get him out of it. Yimpy made it worse. He and Swansea are pretty close. Well, imagine how many times he visits the medical room.
- Swansea's wife is a nurse. She taught him how to first-aid to bond whenever she was home. She gets him into online classes and he gets several certificates. He was surprised he was hired by Pony express in his first interview. And he's just as lacking in experience as Daisuke. Everyone walking out of the medical room is looking like a mummy.
- Curly walked around, sock-puppeting Yimpy to everyone. Only Anya and Swansea played along for a short moment. Jimmy told him to go to work. And Daisuke just raged on him/Yimpy. He learned to keep Yimpy away from Daisuke after 3 sessions of his rage.
✼ •• ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ •• ✼
[ Just . . . Imagine them in this song. YES YES I GOT THE IDEA FROM MY LITTLE PONY. ]

Hellooo. I'm Accala! I'm Asian and my pronouns are she/her but to be honest I don't really care for what people refer to me as (*^-^*)
Maybe I'll reveal more about myself in the future as I'm still paranoid of sharing info on the internet.
Welcome to my dump post blog where I just ramble about anything really. What you'll usually find here:
Final Fantasy 7 (mostly mentioned)
Ace Attorney
Banana Fish
Batman & DC comics
Half-Life VR but the AI is Self-Aware

Just look through my featured tags for more specific posts ^^
! IMPORTANT !
Here's a list of Palestinian fundraisers that I've received from my inbox.
Please consider donating to them & sharing their campaigns around ↓↓↓ Thank you!
VETTED (Part 1, Part 2, & Part 3)
VETTED BY ASSOCIATION
UNVETTED BUT LIKELY LEGITIMATE
SUMMARIZED EDIT NOTES (12/08/24): Edit notes were getting too long so here's a summary. Original dates are still presented alongside new shortened versions.
There will be an emphasis in reblogging campaigns from these fundraiser lists as a lot of them have been stagnating lately. (10/27/24)
Asks are off for now as my inbox is currently flooded. I will try responding to older asks before I turn them on again. (11/24/24)
Monthly updating on the status of each fundraiser is not possible/efficient anymore as they increase in number. I'll still make new lists however, just without those monthly updates. (12/02/24)
I might be busy this December to focus on my studies. Queue is still on as usual. If you don't see the usual reblogs with fundraiser status updates, that means I'm possibly busy and not online. (12/02/24_NOTE TO BE DELETED)
As for donations, I can't currently donate due to meager savings & lack of a debit card/e-wallet. An art raffle may be possible soon (just have to figure out all of that first) (12/09/24)
This website utilizes adverts and clicks to generate donations. So if you currently can't donate with money, all you have to do is choose a cause and click to help!
From @/gazagfmboost. This is for Palestinians who want their fundraisers to be verified/vetted. There are also other resources found under this post for medical requests & aid distributions.
Campaigns in this website are randomized every time you refresh the page. Stagnant campaigns, campaigns for the sick/injured, and those close to meeting their goals are still prioritized nonetheless.
(More about my fandom list, reblogs, & posts under cut)
╔═══━━━─── • ───━━━═══╗
My fandom list may change. Do note that my interests come and go, so if you followed me for a particular fandom, please keep that in mind.
Regarding my reblogs and posts:
I don't reblog or post anything NSFW.
My reblogs and posts are queued and shuffled. With that said, I'm not that active on Tumblr.
There may be reblogs and posts containing mild profanity.
There may be reblogs and posts containing violence (which includes blood and death. Not to the point of NSFW though). Those posts will be given appropriate TWs. If there are any posts I should have given a content label or TW, feel free to tell me.
As for fandom shipping content, I'm neutral for the most part (may post and reblog about them). I find platonic and romantic dynamics interesting to explore, so other depictions are welcome as long as they're not illegal or incestuous.
Thanks for reading ^^

Radio Free Monday
Good morning everyone, and welcome to Radio Free Monday!
Ways to Give:
personalmoshiakh's physician has been obstructing their access to gender affirming surgery, and his wait time for top surgery within the NHS is only getting longer; he's also unable to get a loan for privately funded top surgery. He's raising money to try and fund the surgery himself. You can read more and give at GoFundMe here.
the_rainbow_jen's colleague Madison is struggling with immense medical debt due to gender affirmation surgery; you can read more and give at GoFundMe here.
joseph-lavode's sister has recently gotten a good job after a long stretch of unemployment or underemployment and just as things were stabilizing, a number of expenses came up unexpectedly in the same week, including car problems, plumbing, and water heater issues, to the point she is in danger of losing her home. You can read more and give at GoFundMe here.
Anon linked to a couple of posts about the recent fire which is devastating Maui; unavernales has a links list here and metalheadsforblacklivesmatter has a links list here, both rebloggable, of places you can give to provide aid.
thegeeksqueaks is a teacher fundraising to provide support for her queer and neurodivergent students, both in class and in the student-organized GSA and D&D clubs she sponsors; as with many teachers she is already supplying a lot for her classrooms out of her own budget but needs help to go the extra mile. You can read more and reblog here, give directly at paypal here, or purchase items from the classroom Amazon wishlist here.
News to Know:
MB linked to a study by Northwestern University regarding LifeSkills Mobile, an HIV prevention app for "trans women and nonbinary femmes". If you are eligible and join the study, they provide you either with the app or with information about HIV prevention, and ask you to complete an online survey and a mouth swab HIV test at home every 6 months for up to 4 years. You can opt out at any time, and can receive up to $250 for your help.
Recurring Needs:
Anon linked to a fundraiser for dee-the-red-witch, a trans woman who needs to raise $10K to keep her home. You can read more, reblog, and find giving information here, give via paypal here, or purchase her leatherwork here.
Anon linked to a fundraiser for littlefluffbutt, who is facing homelessness with two daughters due to a predatory loan and support falling through; the house has received a stay of auction, but the family still needs to raise funds to keep it. You can read more and reblog here or support the fundraiser here.
Anon linked to a fundraiser for maximumsunshine, who has just received life-saving surgery but is behind on rent, bills, and food until their first paycheck comes in at the end of the month. You can read more and reblog here, or support them via patreon or via paypal.
And this has been Radio Free Monday! Thank you for your time. You can post items for my attention at the Radio Free Monday submissions form. If you're new to fundraising, you may want to check out my guide to fundraising here.

I'm tired of hearing about what's going on down in Gaza. Don't get me wrong, I'm not tired of the people who are spreading the word about this tragedy. I'm moreso tired of the fact that Israel is doing this shit to Palestinians in the first place. I see all these things on my feed talking about "donate to this Palestinian family so they can evacuate" knowing good and well that I really want to help these people, but I can't because I live in the US where there's an extremely record breaking amount of poverty, especially to queer, disabled, people of color like myself. Then with the whole "share this around" I keep on asking "Share this to who?" because my friends and found family are on the exact same boat. We're all poor and need any money we can get so we won't get kicked out of our apartments, so we won't starve, so we can escape abusive parents ect. We really can't do much about what's going on in Palestine, and it hurts, because we know they're having it much worse. They're literally dying over there, trying to find shelter, struggling to find medical aide for their ailments and sicknesses and they need to pay in order to leave, but their liveleyhoods are also being taken from them. The only thing I can do is spread the word in hopes that my audience is able to reverberate this message anywhere they can. I know my audience is not very big and I'm just starting to be more present online, because I need to advertise my shop, but like, what else can I do? Also, it doesn't help us that the same government who is fucking me and my family up by not giving the homeless housing and fucking up the economy by hiking up the prices of basic necessities is also funding the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. That means the evacuation of Palestinians solely rely on those who are middle or upper class citizens, which again, we're running short on those over here because the richest motherfuckers are being greedy, exploitative bastards and they're fascist, so they are biased against the existence of Palestinians anyway. This is all the product of capitalism and how extremely corrupt it can be, going against people's basic needs and instead using tax money to fund a literal GENOCIDE instead of dealing with all the issues we're dealing with here in the states. Fuck the government. Fuck Biden. Free Palestine. 🇵🇸 🍉

How do you get into or interested in the Medical Field?
Start in High School (or Middle School): In Middle School, you can join/make clubs like Future Health Professionals (formerly known as Health Occupations Students Of America ) or start the club. You can join/make clubs like a Biology club, Medical Awareness Club, Anatomy Club, Science Club, Red Cross, etc. You can also do extracurriculars to get interested in the medical field like volunteering at hospitals, internships at hospitals, joining summer programs at hospitals, and getting first aid/CPR certification. Lastly, you can take classes in high school like biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, AP psychology, and (if CollegeBoard makes the class) AP anatomy and physiology.
2. Research the medical field: It is very understandable if you cannot join clubs after school. There can be various reasons why you cannot participate like if you have a job, your parents cannot pick you up, you don't know anybody in the club, or the people in the club aren't nice. Instead, you can conduct your own research on the medical field jobs that are available. Research what you must do, the education you need, salary, etc. With AI rising, research of these jobs is important since they can grow or shrink based on how advanced AI is getting (especially in the computer science field). However, in the medical field context, AI can help medical professionals with diagnosing, analyzing X-rays, analyzing test results, and more. Nowadays there are doctors online, so AI can help provide information, vitals, symptoms, etc.
3. Skills and Qualities: In the medical field (depending on the job you desire) you will be working with each other as a team. For instance, if you are working in the emergency room, you will need to work with nurses to put medicine in the IV and other doctors if you need help with a case or diagnosing an illness/condition. You will need kindness and empathy because there will be patients who are in pain and suffering. Some may not have enough money to pay or are homeless.
4. Diversity in Jobs: There are numerous jobs you can pick. From doctors to nurse practitioners to biomedical engineering to being part of the lab, testing viruses. For instance in biomedical engineering, you are not only doing things in the medical field but in the biology field, computer science field, and more. Some jobs like being a doctor take a longer time than being a nurse. It will definitely be hard to be in school for a long time, but think about the reward which is helping people have a better quality of life and live better. You can also get a big salary (around 90-120,000 dollars). But there are challenges (depending on the job you pick) like seeing your patients suffer and not be alive, working 12-hour shifts, working almost every day, and working in a busy environment.
5. Challenges: There will be challenges from Medical School to the workplace. For instance, many students stay up late studying, have a side job or internship, or are trying to get a good grade in their class/MCAT. The best way to try to avoid it or lessen it is by time managing. By using a calendar, block off your free time and busy time. For instance, 1pm Friday is lunch, and 4pm Saturday is your internship. There will also be Financial issues as well. You will need to get a scholarship and if you cannot that's okay. Try to see if you qualify for financial aid using FAFSA or try getting a grant. If you do take a loan, there are also loan forgiveness programs as well. In the time you are in your workplace as a doctor/medical professional, there are ethical concerns involving patients. For instance, a patient's medical privacy and not talking about it with anyone unless that medical professional is working with you, or a patient wanting you to not resuscitate them If you resuscitate them, they could be angry, hurt, sad, and sue you.
Thank you for reading! Please like, and reblog if you liked this post or are interested in the medical field!
Please comment if you are going into the medical field, and tips for people interested in the medical field if you are already in the medical field!

I should have been on the pill when I was 14. You're probably thinking, "14 year olds shouldn't be having sex!!" You are correct. And I had never had sex, I was just laying in my room in my own blood.
The pain from my periods was AGONIZING. It was nonstop bleeding and horrific cramps for days. I would lie on the floor and cry and wish it would stop.
Mom never took me to the doctor for it but when I was 22 I read up about female issues online and it suggested ovarian cysts. So even though I had never had an intimate exam before and I was scared I went to my doctor and said I thought I had cysts. She found some in me and prescribed me birth control. My whole abdomen was bloated and painful and I could hardly function until the pills took effect.
When conservatives hear "birth control" it means sex to them. The HPV shot means sex to them. And now they're trying to ban the abortion pill which means more moral failings to them. They are trying to slut shame and control women even more.
Whether you are pro-choice or pro-life it doesn't matter because it is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. I repeat. WHAT A WOMAN DISCUSSES IN A ROOM WITH HER DOCTOR IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
I got the HPV shot because I have had 2 boyfriends who had it. But people think it's the left encouraging immorality when doctors encourage the jab for children. Like, no. I just simply seriously dated 2 guys who happened to have it. I wasn't sleeping around. Then y'all bitch about HIV medication being shown on TV. So... uh, what, you want people to get AIDS? ...IT ONLY TAKES SLEEPING WITH ONE PERSON TO CONTRACT SOMETHING.
I'm not shaming people who do sleep around but regardless, your children WILL grow up and have sex. Nearly all people have sex in their lifetime. I talked to a conservative from Salisbury, MD a couple of months ago. He was anti-vax. Whatever. He said he never went to the doctor EVER. I said, what about when you need to be tested for STDs? He called me a snowflake. I asked him if he was a virgin. No, but he knew everyone he had slept with, he knew he didn't have anything, he didn't need to get tested for diseases as that was for liberals. I said fair enough, hope you have a nice day. He then started complaining he didn't understand why women rejected him.
I went to the doctor today to renew my birth control that saves my life. I have cysts so aggressive they would stifle my body if I wasn't on the pill. If not for the pill and I got surgery instead I would need to get surgery every year or something. But alongside the abortion pill, some conservatives want birth control options compromised too.
Women go through enough. To stay on the pill I once had to shell out $500 a year for invasive exams. Now they've lessened the exams because they were found to be too violating and meaningless. 1,000s upon 1,000s of young women getting unneeded vaginal exams since the 60s. So on top of being forced to get healthcare we are now getting it forcibly taken away?
Today the only thing I did voluntarily was get 2 vaccines. It's all stupid, especially the eye exam. The nurse was surprised I couldn't read ANY lines without my glasses. I told her I was almost legally blind which is the truth. I have very low vision and partial blindness in one eye. What does that have to do with birth control?
They need to make healthcare easier for women not harder. Conservatives need to focus on fixing the economy and reducing regulations on the working class, not controlling women's bodies.
I am against government control, gun restrictions, and all of that, but because the right demands the government to regulate women's bodies they are hypocritical and they aren't worth voting for. Their mindsets are dangerous and they are hurting women.
I just want to be happy, protected, and free from horrific periods. Don't take that away from me.

Writing on a blog dedicated, at least in spirit, to our dissociative identity disorder, this is something that fascinates me. For context - living with the poster child disorder of "that's not even real" and "you're just faking it to get out of jail" and "you're just histrionic with bpd I know this because I took a psych class once in uni", that some fucking airheads still make their paycheck "criticising" in the psychology field (and teaching), the fear of being declared a faker, an attention seeker, a liar, a self-centered and stage-obsessed criminal-until-proven-otherwise came as a free package with the diagnosis. Just the suspicion of the diagnosis was enough for all of those labels. From whom? Everyone.
The first time I dared to open my mouth to my psychiatric nurse, she was putting me against the wall for lying and omitting, because in her view, I was doing too well with no explanation. In reality, at that point, I'd spent some months after becoming aware of the system getting to know them and reading up on how to get the basics of communication together, and working through the first chapters of Coping With Trauma-Related Dissociation, which helped us understand what we needed to do with one another in order to stabilise and feel safer in our everyday life. Things were actually going wonderfully, I wasn't lying, but I was omitting, yes. I was omitting, because even though at that point I knew nothing about DID beyond what I was learning from resources and my friend/now partner, who'd been in the community for a long time and gave us crucial peer support in terms of figuring our situation out, I knew extremely well the stigma associated with "split personality", and our first and primary instinct has always been to hide and cover the existence of the system.
But she was forcing it, so I told her. I was asking for help, yes, but with the context of doing so well - we were winning, and we wanted to keep winning.
She promptly told us we weren't allowed to leave, and started to set us up for involuntary inpatient stay. Exactly what we'd been afraid of the most: that "the psychiatric system" would imprison us and kill us, kill the parts of us who were vulnerable, with cocktails of medication in padded rooms and straitjackets and whatnot that we'd seen in the movies. (And, to a degree, during our actual inpatient stay years before.)
The resident psychiatrist did a quick evaluation of us and released us after, clearly annoyed at the nurse for overreacting and putting us in the extremely triggered and traumatised state that we were in, but it did permanent damage.
Very soon after, we discovered the online "discourse" on the validity of DID, and the "fake claiming" communities. This is all we inherited, first thing, with our diagnosis - which we did get after the above clusterfuck, within a year, with the aid of a specialising therapist and years of notes from our history, or so I assume. I can't remember, it's been years, and I have DID. The point is, even the DID community itself demands that you will never show a bright side to your disorder.
You either suffer all of the time, always, you hate yourself, you hate your other selves, you want to die, and you're forever a mess and you're in eternal war against yourself, or you're faking.
We are not this way and have never been. Prior to discovering the system, we were poorly. To spare the details, at 29 when we were diagnosed, we hadn't worked a day in our lives, dropped out of school at 12, and spent about a decade locked indoors with suicidal spirals being the expected main event of every three days or so. But our main strength has been our us, the family that we have, and the care that we've shown each other all along. Even if we can't love ourselves, we can love each other, and after learning communication - learning to listen, learning to talk - we've been doing phenomenally. Our condition has changed from treatment-resistant and debilitating to actually, we no longer need SSRI medication at all, after being on it for our whole lives. And luckily, this is enough proof for us, but not the world.
No, we're now in that funny place where our partially treated trauma/dissociative disorder looks like too much fun to the world. We're fine and we love each other. We indulge in dressup, we have our own silly little blogs and journals each with their own specific equipment like fancy ink pens and wares of stickers and decor, we have galleries of fake Instagram pictures of ourselves, we use PluralKit on Discord and talk to ourselves like we own the chat - among friends, anyway, or just between ourselves in our private one. All of this means we're fake, fake, fake, fake. God forbid a man has fun. God forbid a woman takes an afternoon to herself to give herself a makeover and go on a date. God forbid a guy just wants to feel comfortable and laugh and express himself, or have a chat with his closest friends.
We're not in enough pain all of the time to be "true" DID anymore. If we were "true" DID then we'd still be in the untreated, pre-diagnosed state. This is a stagnant disorder of identities that may never experience growth or true humanity. All I am allowed to be is a filthy, incapable hikikomori afraid of the world, because anything else is fucking weird to people.
I'm sorry, but. None of your fucking business. I've spent 33 years of my life split squarely on a tightrope over the chasms of "I don't want to die" and "I want to kill myself now". I'm 33 fucking years old and I've earned my goddamn license to feel good, actually. I'm allowed to be fucking weird because I'm developmentally disabled. I will never not be the way that I am, and I also have no intentions to ever be anything but the way that I am, I'm just aiming to be better at it.
This now means that I'm not actually allowed to talk about my disorder... basically anywhere but here and in therapy. No matter where I go, people treat me like a criminal. People who don't have DID tell me I'm faking for clout and larping (LARPing is great by the way and you should absolutely try it out instead of using it as a weird slur online) and they're the champions of true sufferers who are there to nobly remind me that REAL people with DID are actually so in pain all of the time and dying unrecognised while freaks like me... post on Tumblr for attention or whatever I don't fucking know I'm still disabled and in chronic pain and I can't do shit with myself regardless of our overall improvement - and people with DID tell me what I have isn't real DID and I'm "anti-recovery" or whatever because I don't subscribe to their specific dogma of recovery (which, for the record, every single microcosm of the recovery community has their own version of, and they all hate each other for it). The latest edition of how this fucked us over was our choice to write frankly about the positive sides of how the often negatively portrayed coping mechanisms of DID can be turned to work for recovery, and how things like substitute beliefs (believing things that are factually untrue such as 'I am an actual dragon trapped in a human suit' when you're not) can be used not to distance one from reality to escape but help one adapt into it (because I am a dragon in a human suit, a dentist cannot scare me), and had the whole conversation just without warning or any sort of notice deleted from the community. Mods never replied to my request on clarity on what the fuck they were doing and why, and I haven't been back in the community since, either.
And it's hilarious. The whole fucking thing is hilarious. You're faking it if you've recovered too much, because a true sufferer of a severe mental health condition would never recover, but if you don't recover enough, you're anti-recovery, and therefore also faking. There's a slim venue of acceptable suffering in an eternal still-shot in the middle, but you're not actually allowed to exist beyond it or past it in any capacity.
The only true DID case is a non-person who is incapable of growth and change, for a disorder that is all about identity, which by definition is all about growth and change.
I'm so tired of it. Sorry, freaks, I'm gonna freak the way that I freak from now on. I'm too well-adjusted these days to be your perfectly martyred poster patient.
ive found that partially treated mental illness can sometimes look to uninvolved onlookers like faked mental illness.
#this may be completely incoherent as I am presently having the pain of divine punishment laid squarely on me#but it's also important.#to me. personally#so like brain doesn't work I'm about to drop unconscious from the agony but also I must type#... I wrote this for so long the painkiller kicked in and I am no longer in agony that makes me see my ancestors waiting for me.#did#actuallydid

These classes lay the foundation for your aviation knowledge and skills, setting you up for success in both theoretical exams and practical flying. Whether you’re just starting or looking to sharpen your skills, understanding what lies ahead can make all the difference. In this guide, we’ll explore everything you need to know about DGCA CPL Ground Classes — from enrollment requirements to study tips that will help you soar high!
Understanding the DGCA CPL Ground Classes
DGCA CPL Ground Classes are essential for aspiring pilots who want to earn their Commercial Pilot License in India. These classes cover a wide range of subjects, including air navigation, meteorology, aircraft systems, and aviation regulations. The curriculum is designed to provide students with the theoretical knowledge needed to operate an aircraft safely and efficiently. Understanding these concepts is vital for passing the DGCA examinations that follow. Classes typically involve lectures, interactive sessions, and discussions led by experienced instructors. This blend of learning helps reinforce complex topics in an engaging manner. Students also have opportunities to ask questions and clarify doubts during sessions. This interaction fosters a better understanding of critical aviation principles while building confidence as future pilots. By grasping the content covered in these ground classes, you’ll be well-prepared not just for exams but also for your practical flying training ahead.
Requirements for Enrolling in DGCA CPL Ground Classes
Enrolling in DGCA CPL Ground Classes requires meeting specific criteria. First, candidates must hold a valid Class 10 or equivalent certificate. This foundation ensures that students have the necessary educational background. Age is another important factor. Applicants should be at least 17 years old when they begin their training. This age limit aligns with aviation regulations and safety standards. Medical fitness is crucial as well. Candidates must undergo a Class II medical examination by an approved aviation medical examiner to ensure they meet health requirements. While not mandatory, having basic knowledge of physics and mathematics can significantly aid in understanding complex aviation concepts during the course. Preparing these elements ahead of time will streamline your enrollment process and set you up for success in your studies.
Preparing for DGCA CPL Ground Classes: Tips and Tricks
Preparing for DGCA CPL Ground Classes requires a focused approach. Start by creating a well-structured study schedule. Break down the syllabus into manageable sections to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Engage in active learning techniques such as summarizing information in your own words or teaching concepts to peers. This reinforces understanding and retention. Utilize various resources, like online forums and aviation websites, to expand your knowledge base. Engaging with fellow aspirants can provide valuable insights and fresh perspectives on complex topics. Don’t forget about practical applications. Whenever possible, connect theoretical lessons to real-world flying scenarios, which makes the content more relatable and easier to grasp. Establish a supportive study environment free from distractions. A calm atmosphere enhances concentration and productivity during your preparation journey.
Study Materials and Resources for DGCA CPL Ground Classes
When preparing for DGCA CPL Ground Classes, the right study materials can make a significant difference. Start by gathering textbooks that cover essential topics like Air Navigation, Meteorology, and Aircraft Technicalities. These subjects form the backbone of your understanding. Online resources are also invaluable. Websites dedicated to aviation education offer video tutorials and interactive quizzes that enhance learning. Consider joining online forums where aspiring pilots share insights and tips. Additionally, look into apps designed specifically for pilot training. They often include flashcards for quick revision and practice questions mirroring those on actual exams. Don’t overlook the importance of reference materials such as regulatory guidelines from DGCA itself. Familiarizing yourself with these documents will provide clarity on expectations in both ground classes and subsequent tests.
The Importance of Practice Tests and Mock Exams
Practice tests and mock exams play a crucial role in preparing for DGCA CPL ground classes. They simulate the actual examination environment, helping students adapt to the pressure of testing conditions. These assessments not only evaluate your knowledge but also highlight areas needing improvement. By identifying weak spots early on, you can focus your study efforts more effectively. Moreover, engaging with practice questions enhances retention of information. The repetition builds confidence and solidifies concepts in your mind. Mock exams are excellent for time management as well. You learn how to pace yourself, ensuring that you complete each section within the allotted time. Participating in these evaluations fosters a proactive learning approach. Instead of waiting until exam day to gauge your readiness, you can continuously refine your skills throughout the preparation process.
Maintaining a Healthy Mindset During the Preparation Process
Preparing for the DGCA CPL Ground Classes can be overwhelming. It’s easy to feel stressed when facing extensive material. A healthy mindset is crucial during this phase. First, establish a routine that incorporates breaks. Short periods of study followed by relaxation help retain information better. Don’t forget to include physical activity in your day; it boosts both mood and concentration. Stay connected with fellow aspirants or instructors. Sharing experiences and challenges alleviates anxiety and fosters motivation. Practice mindfulness techniques like meditation or deep breathing exercises. They enhance focus and reduce negative thoughts about performance. Celebrate small victories along the way! Recognizing progress encourages perseverance and creates a positive learning environment, making the journey more enjoyable and fulfilling.
Conclusion
Getting prepared for the DGCA CPL Ground Classes is a journey that requires dedication and focus. Understanding the structure and requirements of these classes will set a solid foundation for your learning. As you embark on this educational path, remember to keep organized study materials at hand, leverage resources wisely, and practice regularly with mock exams.
