The idea behind the glove was a practical one on Wes Craven's part, as he wanted to give the character a unique weapon, but also something that could be made cheaply, and wouldn't be difficult to use or transport. At the time he was studying primal fears embedded in the subconscious of people of all cultures, and discovered that one of those fears is attack by animal claws. I had an idea for a Nightmare On Elm Street game, so I made these infographs to showcase my ideas. Objective: The main goal is to kill Freddy, or for Freddy to kill all 7 opposing players. Before Sleeping: The dream warriors have 3 minutes to fortify the room they'll be sleeping in to kill freddy when/if they wake up. Freddy will also have time to fortify the dream world with traps that will help him find the other players faster. Dream World: During the main gameplay, as the dream warriors try to survive, Freddy will hunt them down and use his powers to kill them. As the game goes on, players will build up points towards their dream powers to help with their attempts to slow Freddy down and potentially help transfer him into the real world. Waking Up: If the dream warriors can hold Freddy when their alarms go off, they'll bring him into reality, and the final round begins. If the dream warriors can kill him, they win...but Freddy still has his glove, and could still potentially kill the other players in reality. My goal is to have this spread around and eventually get a game made for real, because the game play imagery I have in my head is amazing and I think people would have a blast playing it. I would also like to be a part of the game in some way, shape, or form, especially if these ideas were utilized.
