My buddy @dasmidna was right about being adopted and I am the clown. I told them there was no way this would happen because I didn’t know anything about MotoGP. The joke is on me.

But now that I have dipped my toe in the water, I wanted to talk about a MotoGP Au im working on as a gift for DasMidna based on their fanfic. I’m linking that here: please give it a read!!

Yes, it’s gone that far. I suppose you can consider me a lost cause.

Long story short, it’s a dragon racing au with the dragons from House of the Dragon. A mix of modern and medieval vibes, like Nimona.

Some of the concepts will be similar to real racing terminology and things. I’ll leave notes on what each thing is a parallel or nod too, if that makes sense.

But I wanted to share some of the dragon and rider match ups. Matchups below the cut.

1. Marc Márquez and Caraxes

They got the same smile and the same freak.

2. Pecco and Syrax

Both are fast and underestimated

3. Álex and Sunfyre

Golden boys and goodiest boys

4. Luca and Moondancer

Luca and Moondancer-The uncontrollable Honda his brother warned him about

5. Enea and Seasmoke.

Seasmoke is going through a divorce with Syrax and sadly, Enea and Pecco are caught in the middle.

Seasmoke chased him down, giggling in Draconic, while Enea calmly panicked.

I don’t know if this will be an interest to the fandom, but I was told by DasMidna that there are not a lot of fics and I was like “my specialty is dragons”

So here we are XD
