When I watched One Piece with the 1000+ episode I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it. The odd thing is that when I watch other anime or k-dramas, tv series from HBO, even though they have lesser episodes I would get bored and just skip it till the ending. But in One Piece even the Opening Song I dare not skip it. This is why the One Piece is GOAT. I didn't even skip any filler arcs 😂😂😂.

However this post is not actually me gushing about how far I have come in One Piece.

Now we head straight for the main topic:

Upon seeing the scene where Sabo met some of the crew in Kyros house. I've got this enlightenment regarding a certain scene in Thriller Bark arc.

Remember this? Robin eavesdrops on the conversation Sanji has with Lola's crew. Curiosity is Robin's nature after all, she's curious as to why Luffy has recovered miraculously while Zoro is in worse condition. Her curiosity I think stems from the worries she has for Zoro, I think on her mind she has this question 'what happened?' , 'why did he become like this?' . I mean at this point Robin cares about her crew mates unlike before when she first joined.

But this scene might connects with the scene in Dressrosa arc.

After seeing this scene you can see that Zoro is alerted by Sabo's presence and ready to take him down but caught off-guard when Sabo threw the booze to him.

He was just caught off-guard, he didn't lower it. The booze is also not a peace offering from Sabo to Zoro. Remember Sabo can take Zoro head to head. Sabo is not weak especially now that he has Ace's DF.

I think that Sabo gifted Zoro the booze as a way to thank him for the sacrifice Zoro has done at the Thriller Bark arc and the loyalty shown by him.

Also after they've done talking Sabo gave Zoro, Luffy's vivre card.

Now the question is why not give it to Franky? Or Robin? Which was closer to him. Why trust a person you've just met when there's someone you have known for two years.

The reason is within those two years time skip. Robin might have been the medium why Sabo held a debt and trust towards Zoro (with him paying that debt with a booze and giving Zoro the vivre card). She might have also told Sabo about the events at Thriller Bark especially what she has heard when eavesdrops on that conversation that Sanji has with Lola's crew.

Well I think this is enough. I would also like to gush out with my shipping but I'm holding it in for now. I'm going to enjoy watching and reading One Piece first before rewatching it again to drown in my ships.

I'm holding my Zorobin heart for now 💜💚.

But just for a freebie: I don't think Zoro would lower is guard even if you gave him a booze. Zoro's first priority is Luffy and at that time Luffy was still in a bad condition. He lowered his guard though when Robin shouted Sabo's name.

Notice the way he stands straight when he asks Robin "You know him?"

FROTHING AT THE MOUTH UMMM HI YES you should get OPTC and play it it’s SO much fun. I’ve only been playing for about a month (?) or so and I’ve been having a TOTAL blast

I know that generally gacha games can be really hit or miss for a lot of people but I will highly recommend OPTC bc of the MASSIVE amounts of freebies they give out. I’ve played lots of different gacha games over the years and I’ve never seen a game give out as much freebies as OPTC has;; There’s multiple different game modes you can do and they all have different rewards where you can literally just. Choose the character you want. There’s some game modes where you can challenge the same boss over and over and get multiple of the same character to increase their level to the max. They’re stupidly generous with their rewards too like just by leveling up or beating a certain quest or doing a challenge x amount of times they’ll give you a sugo rare (basically a 6 star character, the best units in the game) for free! FOR FREEEEE!!! Also they give tons of unique rewards to rookie players as well so just by getting the game and starting it for the first time they will bury you in Stuff :)

A lot of gacha games are pay to win but honestly you don’t need to spend any money in OPTC to A. Have fun and B. Win harder challenges. It really just depends on how you build your crew and with all the free handouts you’re BOUND to get some really good recruits even at the very start. And if you don’t mind spending a little money they do have achievement packs that unlock whenever you hit a certain level, and the rewards are very generous.

Anyway coughs now that I’m done ranting about how much free shit they’ll give you the actual gameplay is a lot of fun too, like I mentioned there’s lots of different game modes but they generally all revolve around the whole building your crew thing. And a few of these game modes will reset every couple weeks and let you get new characters/rewards so things are always changing and updating! They just had an event to get a free 6 star Bonney and then super evolve her into a 6+ star with her in her Egghead outfit and like.

I will say they do dump a lot on you so it can be really. Confusing and complex lol. I wouldn’t say I know the ins and outs of this game QUITE yet but I have learned a lot of things since I started playing, so if you have any questions feel free to come ask me 🥰

Also the game’s 10 year anniversary is happening (Franky voice) SUPER soon so now is a great time to start playing bc they’re definitely gonna give all the players heaps of rewards ;)

Anyway I’m totally not obsessed with OPTC can’t you tell

Unlucky Wishes [ Gigi Grant x Catty Noir ] OTP- Are you even surprised this is on the list? I’ve been shipping this ever since the movie came out! And thanks to @cxttynoir​! Ignore the fact these two don’t have much screen time together, they have enough time at least in the New Scaremester diaries. This ship is a budding friends-to-lover ships. These two ghouls would travel the world together and are able to be open and express themselves so much. They would literally be the Lyrabon of MH. (yes i used MLP cause i think it’s the closest I can describe it)

Electric Wishes [ Gigi Grant x Frankie Stein ] - This one is pretty obvious since they both have most time together in the movie. That and Frankie is the only one who treats her right! Anyway, Frankie would be the most understanding while . Though this would be somewhat of a slow and steady ship, there’s no doubt the ghouls would be very caring and protective of each other.

Ocean Wishes [ Gigi Grant x Lagoona Blue ]- Both are understanding and mellow ghouls. This would be one of the more easier relationships, though questionable that it would last. I can see a little bit of drama should Gil get involved or Gigi’s father. And (if we’re counting GSR as canon) both ghouls would be the most supportive and encouraging of each other when dealing with their problems or fears.

Frost Wishes [ Gigi Grant x Abbey Bominable ]- Opposites attract. Sand and Ice sounds much more nice. Abbey is blunt but brave. Gigi is sweet but a pacifist. Both wouldn’t have a damn clue how to romance. Taking advice from their friends at first before learning to just be themselves. This ship would never be boring and a push-come-shove couple who would protect each other despite their beliefs.

Stoned Perfect Wishes [ Deuce Gorgon x Gigi Grant x Cleo DeNile ] - Okay please don’t judge me for this! I actually had a dream of this before and then I started writing drabbles over this. And I am no way expecting to roleplay this but let me dream. I see so many dynamics with this ship. From Gigi starting anew and adjusting to the modern world, to helping Deuce and Cleo see each other sides. There would be drama and fluff all over that I can only really explain through fanfics. One day I’ll get the courage to write it, but not today! This is all you’ll get out of me right now!

Magic SOLDIER/SOLDIER Wishes [ Gigi Grant x Zack Fair ] - I will confess I have done this ship before and again would want to have it. But I would revamp it and give if a fresh start. Though it won’t be the same, I think this ship would still have a sweet dynamic. I can see Zack and Gigi having a good attraction and being exploring with each other. Alot of what ifs would on the table for sure, but I believe it’ll be worth it.
