France was only a one hour flight away from the US, and it was daylight savings so I couldn't sleep so I decided to fly to France until I was tired and then fly back.

The airport wasn't an airport it was just a little restaurant where they let planes land? And in the back there was a Lego reconstruction of the Statue of Liberty. While checking it out my mom called me to ask where I was and I was like, "Don't be mad but I'm in France," and she hung up on me.

Tom and Sabine met when she went to France for a year on a student exchange and they fell in love but Sabine had to go back to China so Tom, in a grand romantic gesture, got on a plane for the first time in his life and unfortunately discovered his aerophobia when the flight crew had to make him swallow an elephant’s fose of tranquilizer to avoid having to land the plane early on account of him absolutely freaking the fuck out.
