Frame Restoration

We restored this beautiful gilded French frame recently for a client. The before and after photos show the work we did replacing the composted corners where the gesso shows through. We had to remould several areas of the frame all around, fill the cracked corners and regild to match the original finish. The end result is beautiful and looks like nothing was ever done to it in the first place, which is exactly what the client wants.
